The Algorand Foundation and the Singapore Blockchain Association have entered into a strategic partnership to develop the blockchain industry in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
As a result of the partnership, both organizations will make every attempt to promote the blockchain and its applicability in everyday life.
Jason Lee, Cheif operating officer (COO) of the Algorand Foundation said:
“Our aim is to foster good practices, nurture talent in new markets and work closely with the ecosystem as a whole, be it through our grants, accelerator, or educational programs, We believe that blockchain technology is the future, and we are wholly dedicated in our pursuit to aid its advancement in whichever way we can.”
He also said that Algorand intends to extend its presence in Singapore by recruiting fresh employees. Vacancies are open for developers and engineers as well as for middle managers.
At the end of September, Algorand introduced the AVM virtual machine, which allows increasing the scalability of decentralized applications and significantly accelerates the transaction confirmations.
