American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has added Dogecoin as a payment method.
Elon Musk confirmed now you can buy Tesla with Dogecoin.

Tesla writes:
“To purchase using Dogecoin on the Tesla Shop, you will need a “Dogecoin wallet.” When checking out with Dogecoin, the payment page will display the Tesla Dogecoin wallet “address” in both an alphanumeric code and a QR code form for you to connect to your Dogecoin wallet to transfer the Dogecoin. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that Dogecoin is transferred to Tesla’s Dogecoin wallet accurately.”
Tesla further writes that all eligible Tesla products will be clearly priced in Dogecoin. This price will include any applicable taxes.
Tesla also confirms that they only accept Dogecoin as a payment method.
“Tesla only accepts Dogecoin. Tesla cannot receive or detect any other digital assets. Ensure you are making your purchase with Dogecoin. Sending any other digital assets may result in the assets being lost or destroyed. Non-Dogecoin digital assets sent to Tesla will not be returned to the purchaser.”
Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated in mid-December that Dogecoin is better suited for payments than Bitcoin. Elon Musk also Confirmed in Dec that Tesla accepted Dogecoin for merchandise.
Musk has spoken out in support of DOGE on several occasions. Thanks to his messages on Twitter, the coin’s capitalization grew to $25 billion.
