Shiba Inu (SHIB) Announces Virtual Real Estate (Shiba Lands) Will Become Available For Purchase/Auction Soon.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) plans to lead the Metaverse sector, a rapidly growing $478.7 billion industry, as the SHIB team released its first-ever update regarding Shiberse on Wednesday.
Seeing the big players entering into the metaverse, back on January 24, 2022, Shiba Inu (SHIB) decided to launch its own “Shiberse,” which is supposed to be an immersive experience for its ecosystem and the Metaverse space, and this will lead SHIB to reach new heights.
Following the announcement of Shiberse, the official Twitter handle of SHIB recently released its first-ever update regarding Shiberse via tweet.
According to the update, Shiba Inu decided to introduce virtual real estate (Shiba Lands), which is projected to become available for purchase soon.

This announcement comes following the footsteps of The Sandbox (SAND) and Decentraland (MANA). Readers should note that SAND and MANA already have introduced the virtual real estate concept, and working on this idea, they are considered some of the biggest Metaverse platforms.
This virtual real estate announcement from the Shiba Inu team is considered its first step to allow the Shiba army to jump into the Metaverse before its full release.
Shiba Blog writes:
“We are happy to announce and proudly introduce ShibaLands! These “lands” found inside our Metaverse will be available for purchase/auction really soon, and it will be our first step towards allowing the community to jump into the Metaverse prior to its full release!”
In addition to the above announcement, the Shiba Inu team is also reported to be working on a queue system, which will be designed explicitly for the Shiba Land sales event. This queue system will help the Shiba Inu team make the process of purchasing metaverse lands fair and smooth for its community worldwide, as this will prevent Bots and Gas Wars.

In this way, LEASH utility will come into play, a token used in Shibarium and the Doggy DAO.
“This queue allows exclusivity by requiring interested parties to hold “LEASH“, which gives priority and exclusive access to this first selling phase of the land plots in our Metaverse.”
Moreover, the team has worked on an anti-dump system to protect LEASH holders from scams.
