Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama recently suggested to Shiba Inu community members in a recent Telegram message to “keep popcorn on the ready.” While Kusama did not share a follow-up message, SHIB holders think the project’s lead developer is asking them to prepare for the imminent launch of Shibarium.

Kusama’s cryptic messages have continued to fuel speculation among Shiba Inu community members. SHIB enthusiasts believe that Kusama is using these cryptic messages to suggest that the launch of the L2 network could take place soon.
Some SHIB fans speculated that the rollout of Shibarium Beta will happen on February 14 (Valentine’s Day) because Kusama mentioned in a tweet that the L2 network is put in a “heart-shaped box with a bow.”

Still No Launch Date for Shibarium Beta
Despite the speculation, Kusama and other team members have refused to specify a date for the Shibarium Beta launch. In Kusama’s words, “Shiba Inu does not give dates” for the launch of any project.
While there is no specific date for the launch of Shibarium, the team has confirmed that the protocol will soon be deployed. As reported earlier, Shiba Inu disclosed in an article that Shibarium Beta is about to launch.
