Shibarium Discord Records Growth, Boasts Almost 7K Members in 2 Weeks.
Social activity on the Discord server has also seen an uptick, with more than 100,000 messages sent since its launch.
The new Shibarium Discord server dedicated to the Shiba Inu community is recording massive growth less than a month after it was introduced by Shytoshi Kusama, Shiba Inu’s project lead. The server now boasts almost 7,000 members in the space of two weeks.
Recall that Kusama unveiled the server on March 24 following the resolution of the large-scale FUD campaign, which created a rift in the Shiba Inu camp. The FUD originated from the old Shiba Inu discord server. Kusama apologized for his lack of control and introduced the new server as a safe haven for well-meaning community members.
Fifteen days after its launch, the Discord server has witnessed over 100,000 messages, with up to 6,940 members, making it one of the fastest-growing Discord servers. The server presents a safe place for community members to communicate and engage in activity and receive disclosures on Shibarium and Shiba Inu-related developments.
It contains numerous channels to facilitate these. They include channels for official Shibarium announcements, safety alerts, NFT discussions, Metaverse discussions and announcements, Shibarium validators discussions, charts and analysis, support, scam alert, and general SHIB discussions. The channel also has servers dedicated to several languages.
The Shibarium Discord XP Giveaway
Moreover, the community devised a way to encourage individual participation in the server and community through the Discord XP giveaway scheme. The scheme aims to recognize and reward community participation in the Shiba Inu camp. IntroduceTheBugs, a pseudonymous SHIB community member, became the first winner on April 2.
The scheme promises 1,000 Discord experience points (XP) to any member who emerges as the winner every week and the exclusive Shibarmy Legend role in the server. The community is looking into introducing better prizes for winners. The scheme encourages good conduct within the server, and community members nominate winners based on merit.
