In a remarkable feat, the Shiba Inu enthusiasts have set fire to a record 2,259,598,377 (2.25B) SHIB in the past 24 hours. This milestone was achieved through six separate transactions, with CultPunks and a mysterious wallet emerging as the top contributors to the burn.

CultPunks, a newly launched NFT collection on Modulus Network, has removed a 246,743,138 (246.74M) SHIB from circulation forever in a single transaction executed about 19 hours ago from press time.

Blaze Token

A few hours later, the Blaze sent a record-breaking 2,005,265,274 (2B) SHIB, worth $19,992, to the dead wallet in one significant transaction.

Burn Rate

These massive burns have caused the overall burn rate to surge by an eye-popping 30,940.10% compared to the previous day, where only 5,834,817 (5.83M) were burned through three distinct transactions.

The Shiba Inu craze continues to dominate social media, with the coin being the most-talked-about cryptocurrency on Twitter with 536,000 tweets.
