Ragnar, a notable Shiba Inu (SHIB) community member and a Shibarium Telegram admin, has shared update on the development of ShibaSwap 2.0, the upgraded version of the SHIB ecosystem decentralized exchange (DEX). This comes on the back of repeated calls from the Shiba Inu community on the progress made towards the development of the exchange.
In a recent disclosure on Telegram, Ragnar confirmed that the Shiba Inu development team is working on the new version of ShibaSwap. According to him, ShibaSwap 2.0 will require a new security audit from the leading blockchain security platform CertiK before its rollout.
He urged Shiba Inu community members to wait for a new audit from CertiK, which will help shut the mouths of critics and naysayers.
“Shibaswap is at this moment working on a new version of ShibaSwap. [It] will need a new Certik audit. Let’s wait for the new audit, and we will be closing many fudders’ mouths,” said Ragnar.
Expected Features of ShibaSwap 2.0
For context, ShibaSwap 2.0 is an upgraded version of Shiba Inu’s decentralized exchange. According to Shiba Inu’s developer Eric M, the upgraded version of ShibaSwap will feature new and improved designs, as well as a crypto portal.
The portal will be a platform for charts, news, trends, and stats. It is unclear whether the crypto portal will only share updates about Shiba Inu or the entire crypto industry.
Despite the hype, the team behind ShibaSwap 2.0 development did not disclose when the project would officially launch. Meanwhile, the first version of ShibaSwap is still functioning properly and has some exciting features that can be found in top DEXs like Uniswap.
