Shiba Inu: Upcoming ShibaSwap 2.0 to Feature New Crypto Portal

ShibaSwap’s upcoming upgrade will feature a crypto portal.

The Shiba Inu team has continued to make significant efforts toward releasing new projects for its vibrant community. In a tweet yesterday, Lucie, a prominent SHIB influencer, revealed an interesting feature that the Shiba Inu team plans to release alongside the upgraded version of ShibaSwap. 

According to Lucie, a crypto portal is one of the significant features to be added in ShibaSwap 2.0. Once ShibaSwap 2.0 goes live, the DEX will be used for token swaps and become a crypto portal, Lucie said while referencing hints from developer Eric M. The crypto portal will be a platform for news, statistics, charts, trends, and many other things that the community would be interested to see.

Aside from adding a crypto portal on ShibaSwap 2.0, the upgrade will include new and exciting designs. Shiba Inu’s community members are already anticipating the release of ShibaSwap 2.0.

However, there is still no official date for its launch. It has become a routine for the Shiba Inu’s team to be silent about the possible date for the launch of any project. The team is trying to avoid disappointing the community members, especially when it fails to deliver a project as scheduled.

What Is ShibaSwap?

For context, ShibaSwap is the native decentralized exchange of Shiba Inu. Launched in July 2021, the DEX allows users to swap tokens directly without requiring a third party. ShibaSwap offers functions such as staking, swapping, and a SHIBOSHI non-fungible token marketplace. 

According to CoinMarketCap data, ShibaSwap is ranked as the 41-largest decentralized exchange globally, with a 24-hour trading volume of $7.59 million. The DEX currently has 66 markets, including BONE/WETH, SHIB/WETH, etc. 

It is expected that ShibaSwap will attract more users when it finally rolls out the anticipated crypto portal. The canine-themed token is already enjoying massive popularity across the globe. As reported, CoinMarketCap’s data highlighted Shiba Inu’s popularity in all regions, including Africa, North America, South America, Europe, etc.
