The Terra Classic (LUNC) community recently had a sneak peek of the capabilities of Edward Kim’s Block Entropy AI chain.

Professor Edward Kim, a well-respected Terra Classic developer and professor of Computer Science at Drexel University, is currently developing an AI app chain called Block Entropy. Most recently, the Terra Classic community witnessed the first purview of the app’s capabilities.

Vinh Nguyen, a Vietnam-based L1JTF developer, recently showcased a screenshot of the Block Entropy interface, revealing his successful generation of an AI-generated cat image. This demonstration exemplified one practical application of the app chain and offered the LUNC community a glimpse into its potential.

Nguyen touted Block Entropy as the first blockchain-based AI generation engine, emphasizing that the recently-generated cat image represents the first-ever image made with the engine. “I will open NFT sale later,” he added.

The generated image exhibits remarkable detail and captivating contrast, showcasing a comparable capacity to MidJourney. Additionally, information obtained from the interface reveals that the AI chain encompasses voice generation and AI chat functionalities. Nguyen specified that he is currently a closed beta tester, and Professor Kim has plans to release public testing soon.

In a subsequent development, LuncBurnArmy (LBA), the project manager of L1JTF, unveiled another teaser of the AI chain’s interface today. This time, LBA showcased a captivating image featuring a dog engaged in a game of poker.

How Does Block Entropy Benefit Terra Classic?

Block Entropy, an AI app chain under development by Kim, is designed to operate on the Terra Classic blockchain. This chain aims to harness the potential of Artificial Intelligence and integrate it into blockchain-based solutions. In April, Kim provided a preview of the whitepaper, as previously reported by The Crypto Basic.

Professor Kim announced that the testnet for Block Entropy would be accessible to the public in mid-May. However, users interested in obtaining testnet tokens must burn real LUNC tokens and provide the burn transaction hash as proof. In April, Professor Kim also revealed that the development of the Interchain Accounts (ICA) module had been finalized but emphasized the need for additional testing on the LUNC network.

The ICA module is designed to enable seamless communication with the Terra Classic network. Professor Kim intends to connect this module to LUNC once the network achieves parity. According to a recent report by The Crypto Basic, the L1JTF has set June 14 as the scheduled date for the v2.1.0 upgrade, which will introduce parity.
