Shiba Inu says it is the proud title sponsor of the Blockchain Futuristic Conference, ETHWomen, and ETHToronto hackathons.
Shiba Inu’s lead developer Shytoshi Kusama has published a new blog post, revealing a significant milestone for the canine-themed cryptocurrency. According to Kusama, Shiba Inu is the proud title sponsor of the Blockchain Futuristic Conference, ETHWomen, and ETHToronto hackathons.
Notably, the conference is scheduled to be held in Toronto on August 15-16, 2023.
“I think this is a pretty big undertaking. This level of sponsorship puts us in line with major exchanges and projects and strengthens our position as a major player in cryptocurrency,” said Kusama.
Shiba Inu to Exhibit Its Innovations and Worldpaper
It is worth noting that the event coincides with Shiba Inu’s third anniversary. As a title sponsor of the event, Shiba Inu is looking to showcase its innovations and contributions to the industry.
Per Kusama, Shiba Inu will exhibit the completed version of the much-anticipated worldpaper. It is worth noting that the Worldpaper highlights various aspects of the cryptocurrency, including details about its ecosystem tokens- SHIB, BONE, LEASH, TREAT, and Shi.
“At this location, the completed Worldpaper will be exhibited. All Shiba Inu-branded projects will be published, and Treat will be published in detail for the first time,” the announcement read.
Additionally, Kusama indicated the possibility of discussing and even releasing the mainnet version of Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 blockchain solution.
Shiba Inu to Host Multi-Month Hackathon
For context, this year’s Blockchain Futuristic Conference will mark the event’s fifth anniversary. The conference will be held from August 15 – 16 in Toronto, Canada. The event is the flagship of Canada Crypto Week, with more than 30 separate crypto events slated to occur throughout the week.
Notably, some of the events include the inaugural edition of ETHWomen and the second annual ETHToronto hackathons.
According to Kusama, Shibarium will hold a multi-month hackathon as part of the Blockchain Futuristic Conference. Interestingly, attendees can have a fun-filled Shiba Inu experience from two dedicated booths, a VIP Cubana, as well as SHIB-themed products, services, and platforms.
Prominent projects like Unification, BadIdea.Ai, and other projects that have declared interest in building on Shibarium, will be exhibited at the event.
In a tweet today, BadIdea.Ai also made the announcement.

Kusama to Speak Virtually Via AI
Meanwhile, a major highlight of the conference will involve Shiba Inu’s lead developer speaking virtually via AI.
“Also, for the first time, I will be speaking virtually (via AI) at a conference!” said Kusama.
Kusama also promised to unveil other major surprises at the hackathon, including an after-party fully sponsored by Shiba Inu.
