Shiba Inu marketing specialist says the development team is working to onboard hundreds of projects into the ecosystem, leading to further expansion and adoption.

Lucie, the SHIB team marketing specialist and community influencer, recently took to Twitter to disclose some exciting developments surrounding the Shiba Inu project.

The Shiba Inu ecosystem will be more than just SHIB, BONE, and LEASH, she told the teeming ShibArmy on Wednesday.

BONE, which outperformed Bitcoin and Ethereum earlier this week, is the native token of Bone Shibaswap, the leading DEX on the Shiba Inu network. BONE would also serve as the gas token of Shibarium.

Shibarium to Usher More Projects

According to her, a remarkable evolution is coming for the ecosystem courtesy of the highly anticipated layer-2 scaling solution Shibarium.

The influencer wrote, “Do you understand that we are no longer just the Shiba Ecosystem, but now we are the Shibarium tech – Layer 2? It may be challenging, but the transition is here!”

Lucie revealed that the Shiba ecosystem comprising only three popular tokens — BONE, LEASH, and SHIB — at the time, would expand dramatically in the coming months. In particular, the influencer noted that hundreds of projects would be onboarded into the sphere, citing the Shibarium mainnet launch.

“There will be hundreds of projects, not just one or two, but many! The more, the better,” the community marketing specialist added.

The much-awaited mainnet launch of the layer-2 scaling solution is closer than expected, according to the lead developer Shytoshi Kusama. As recently published, Shibarium’s testnet has reached new milestones regarding total transactions and connected wallet addresses.

Developments Pushing Adoption for Shiba Inu

Reacting to FUD spread by critics, Lucie urged community members to focus more on the stunning growth of the crypto project. Recall that she had earlier addressed the concerns surrounding the planned exit of Kusama from the team.

Meanwhile, Shiba Inu’s expansion can be seen in its rising community strength and numerous SHIB payment integrations. Also, there are many other planned projects on the sleeves of developers, including Shibaswap 2.0 and SHIB Metaverse.

All of these aim to give the meme token additional use cases, which could help in pushing the assets’ price to the much coveted $0.001 target.
