Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama expresses excitement as the Shibarium testnet now boasts over 31 million transactions.

The ShibArmy is buzzing with extravaganzas following the astounding milestone the Shibarium testnet — Puppynet attained. Notably, user activity in transactions and connected wallets is increasing on the Shiba Inu L2 network. This compelled Kusama to express his excitement about the development on Thursday.

Shibarium Transactions Crosses 31M

On July 20, Cryptolight took to Twitter to share some remarkable outcomes about the Shibarium testnet. Per the Thursday update, total transactions and wallet addresses connected to Puppynet surpassed the 31 million and 17 million thresholds, respectively.

Similarly, the overall wallet addresses on Puppynet stood at the 17,062,340 mark at the time. Cryptolight further revealed that the total blocks produced on the testnet reached 1,768,423 with an average block time of 7.4 seconds.

Reacting to these impressive numbers, Shiba Inu lead developer Kusama commented with an emoji, depicting excitement.

Shibarium Transactions Hit 32M

It bears noting that over one million transactions have been executed on the Shibarium testnet within four days. At the time of writing, the network boasts 32,016,335 total transactions, with 256,001 transactions conducted today, according to the network explorer Puppyscan.

On the other hand, connected wallet addresses only increased slightly within this timeframe to 17,062,515. At the same time, the total blocks on Puppynet reached 1,821,866 on July 24.

This rising engagement on Puppynet comes amid the expected Shibarium mainnet launch scheduled for August. As earlier published, Kusama hinted that the L2 scaling solution would go live during the Blockchain Futuristic Conference in Toronto.

Bullish Expectations for Shiba Inu Ecosystem Tokens

In the wake of these many positive developments, Cryptolight and other community members are convinced that all Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, including SHIB, BONE, and LEASH, will rally in the coming weeks. “We will see positive price events in the coming weeks of SHIB, BONE, and LEASH,” he wrote.

Notably, SHIB is exchanging hands at $0.00000797 at press time. This represents an increase of over 2% in the past 24 hours and a 1% rise in the past seven days. Whether the Shibarium mainnet launch would trigger a rally in the SHIB price, as speculated by Fintech specialists, remains to be seen.
