Shiba Inu community members make BONE listing requests as leading exchange KuCoin expresses anticipation toward the upcoming Shibarium launch.
Shiba Inu has garnered tremendous attention in the broader crypto community from investors and exchanges. Among the top crypto exchanges affirming support for SHIB and Shibarium is KuCoin.
KuCoin recently took to X to remind SHIB supporters about the impending mainnet release of Shibarium.
Particularly, the exchange emphasized that the layer-2 scaling solution is expected to go live “next week.” However, their statement was made last week Sunday, so the projected date is slated for this new week.
#Shibarium is expected to launch next week.

Recall that Shytoshi Kusama, the ecosystem lead developer, has continuously hinted that Shibarium would be launched during the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto. The summit is slated for August 15 and 16.
In light of this, the exchange urged users to share their expectations for SHIB’s price after Shibarium’s mainnet release. Kucoin further indicated that crypto investors can leverage its top-class trading platform to buy and sell SHIB.
Shiba Inu Community Calls For BONE Listing
Reacting to Kucoin’s post, several ShibArmy members have requested the exchange to list Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) and Doge Killer (LEASH). According to the Shiba Inu community, demand for the ShibaSwap governance token would increase when the Shibarium goes live.
This is because Shibarium would utilize BONE for gas fees. A pseudonymous user added that every SHIB holder would need BONE to execute transactions on Shibarium.
Moreover, an investor submitted that BONE would be the new ETH courtesy of Shibarium. Ringoshi Tōitsu proposed that KuCoin reach out to the Unification project development team whenever they plan to list BONE.
Notably, the exchange refrained from responding to these public unofficial requests.
However, community members are hopeful the latest developments with the BONE renunciation contracts would trigger Kucoin and other top exchanges to list the token. KuCoin previously responded to these requests in May but have not yet listed the asset.
Meanwhile, Kusama recently announced that the Shiba Inu team would relinquish ownership of the token upon minting the remaining 20 million BONE. As widely speculated among SHIB proponents, the planned move could compel Binance to list the asset too.
