In a recent statement, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club crowned Ripple’s business partner, AstroPay, as its official partner for payment processing.

Through AstroPay’s Spurs-branded prepaid card, fans will be able to redeem exclusive prizes & experiences.

Tottenham and AstroPay Collab
In the press statement, Tottenham spotlighted AstroPay’s electronic wallet alongside its reward and loyalty programs tailored to sports enthusiasts. The club noted that the new partnership would birth a uniquely branded prepaid card for sports lovers.
Particularly, Tottenham fans will get AstroPay’s Spurs-branded card for exclusive gifts and bonuses linked to the club. It added that sports enthusiasts who use the prepaid card will accumulate points from the Ripple partner for each transaction.
Tottenham stated that the AstroPoints are redeemable in exchange for numerous activities sports lovers fancy. It includes game tickets, autographed merchandise, virtual meet-ups with players, and tours around training centers.
Furthermore, the Ripple partner is offering discounts on new sign-ups on the branded prepaid card. The discount will be redeemable online and offline at Spurs Shop as well as for an early pre-sale ticket to the F1 DRIVE.
AstroPay’s Vice President of Global Product Sales, Sofía Muró, emphasized that the alliance with Tottenham represents the firm’s goal of bridging the gap between payment and services.
