Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda now accepts payments in Shiba Inu, XRP, and other assets through the prominent payment processor FCF Pay.

Shiba Inu and XRP mainstream adoption has risen with the launch of FCF Pay’s new service, FCF Crypto Bills. This service enables holders of Shiba Inu and XRP to seamlessly settle bills across a vast network of over 20,000 US corporations.

In a recent development, FCF Pay joined forces with Honda to enable its users to finance, lease, or purchase Honda vehicles with over 100 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Shiba Inu (SHIB), and XRP.

The service is currently available exclusively to residents of the United States. However, FCF Pay has expressed its commitment to expanding the service to other countries soon.

This announcement closely follows FCF Pay’s partnerships with HSBC, a British universal bank, and Chariot Energy, a solar energy company.

As reported earlier by The Crypto Basic, HSBC clients can now settle their mortgage bills and loans using SHIB and XRP, among others. Simultaneously, Chariot Energy facilitates Texas residents in paying their solar panel bills with cryptocurrencies such as Shiba Inu and XRP through the FCF payment system.

It’s worth recalling that FCF Pay added support for all three tokens of the Shiba Inu ecosystem (SHIB, BONE, and LEASH) back on July 7, 2022. Since then, the global reach of Shiba Inu has continued to expand at an astounding pace.

Shiba Inu is now accepted at over 80,000 Jeripay locations in Singapore and can be used for shopping on Amazon, getting Netflix subscriptions, and booking flights with American Air and Air Canada.

Meanwhile, XRP is accepted as payment by prominent vendors such as AMC Theaters, AirBaltic, and Newegg.
