Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama confirms that something is brewing for SHIB.

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, has elicited a new wave of curiosity within the SHIB community following his recent Telegram update.

According to a screenshot shared by influencer Kuro SHIBARMY JPN, a SHIB fan posted in an official Telegram group that “something is brewing” for the cryptocurrency. Reacting to the post, Kusama said, “Very much so.”

Expectedly, Kusama’s message stirred excitement among SHIB enthusiasts as they await an official update from the team.

Not New

Historically, Kusama usually shares similar cryptic messages whenever the team is close to making a major announcement.

As reported earlier, the Shiba Inu’s lead teased in June that something physical was coming. A few days later, he introduced Shibacals, a solution that translates digital non-fungible tokens (NFTs) into jaw-dropping physical items.

Meanwhile, Kusama did not share many hints in his latest Telegram chat. However, the community has been speculating on the nature of the update.

Shiba Inu New AI Venture with Bad Idea AI

The update could be related to a major partnership, Shibarium, or artificial intelligence (AI). Earlier this week, Kusama revealed plans to embark on a “secret and not so secret AI initiative” with Shiba Inu’s partner Bad Idea.

Although Kusama shared little information about the AI initiative, the community speculates that the Shiba Inu and Bad Idea team could be considering launching a project that will not contribute to SHIB burns.

Kusama Returns to Social Media

The development follows Kusama’s return to social media. According to an update shared by Shiba Inu’s marketing specialist, Lucie, Kusama declared it was time for him to end his 26 days of silence.

Resuming social media activity, Kusama reacted with a bulging “eyes emoji” to a post from Marcie Jastrow, Shiba Inu’s Metaverse Advisor.

Since then, he has remained active across social media platforms, sharing cryptic messages and teasing upcoming ventures.
