Tellor (TRB) Nears Breaking 2021 ATH at $163, Grows 1,025% in 90 Days

Data shows that the mid-cap crypto project Tellor (TRB) has become one of the few digital assets on the cusp of breaking their previous highs amid the unfolding altcoin breakout.

According to data from CoinMarketCap, TRB exchanges hands at $128.93 with a cumulative 30-day growth percentage of 160%.

TRB Grows 1,025%, Nears 2021 ATH

Meanwhile, the renowned market intelligence firm Santiment disclosed that TRB has reached as high as $131 within the last 24 hours. Per Santiment data, the asset has appreciated by a staggering 1,025% within the last 100 days.

Notably, TRB’s bullish trajectory has seen the digital asset climb more than 300 steps on the ranking of the most prominent crypto projects. In particular, TRB now ranks 112 with a valuation of $320 million, up from 573 in August with $20 million.

With such unexpected performance in recent weeks, Tellor is now less than $39 to reclaim its previous all-time high (ATH) of $163.76. TRB hit this ATH in May 2021, about the peak of the previous bull cycle. 

Whales Stock 15% of TRB Supply in 7 Weeks

Meanwhile, data shows that crypto whales have been an influential driving force in TRB’s praiseworthy performance.

According to Santiment, addresses holding at least 1,000 to 100,000 TRB have amassed 15% of the coin’s circulating supply in less than two months.

Santiment disclosed that these TRB whales controlled 31% of Tellor’s token supply in September. However, their holding has increased to 46% in seven weeks. Furthermore, the market tracker revealed that while whale TRB transactions of above $1 million have been frequent, they do not occur at the expense of the supply held.

Altcoin Breakout

In an earlier update, Santiment hinted that the altcoin season had begun with multiple digital assets outperforming the market leader Bitcoin. Some of the highlighted top performers include Solana, SushiSwap (SUSHI), and THORChain (RUNE). Like TRB, these tokens have recorded over 30% gains, while Bitcoin remains around $35k.
