Notably, the 952 transactions were created at block height 1875694, marking a significant milestone for Shibarium. Per the data, the development happened yesterday at exactly 17:02 PM (UTC).

Shibarium Surpasses 6M Transactions

This follows a massive spike in the total transactions processed on the network. Shibarium recently achieved a new milestone by surpassing 6M transactions.

Per data from Shibariumscan, the network’s explorer, the blockchain’s total transactions currently stand at 6,329,333 (6.33 million).

Interestingly, Shibarium achieved the feat less than two weeks after reaching the 4 million transaction mark.

As reported earlier, the network’s total transactions stood at 4,126,333 (4.13 million) on November 24. Based on the current stats, Shibarium has added 2,303,000 (2.3M) transactions since November 24.

Daily Transactions Jump to 745K

Shibarium’s 6.3M transaction milestone comes on the heels of a massive spike in the network’s daily transaction volume. According to Shibariumscan, a whopping 748,230 transactions were recorded yesterday.

However, the significant spike in yesterday’s Shibarium transaction volume is nothing compared to the 16,630 transactions recorded the previous day.

Other Shibarium Stats

Aside from transaction count, Shibarium currently boasts over 1.27 million addresses with over 1.88 million blocks mined. In addition, the L2 blockchain hosts 30,369 accounts and has processed 301,237 BONE transfers.

Since Shibarium’s inception in August, users have deployed 14,299 smart contracts on the network. Furthermore, the L2 network supports more than 8,500 tokens.

Meanwhile, the total value locked (TVL) on Shibarium is currently below $700K. Shibarium’s TVL rose above $700K on November 29 before plunging to $681,800 the following day. According to DeFiLlama data, Shibarium’s TVL currently sits at $693,075.
