Unification to Support Shiba Inu Payments on Its UNoDE Node Service

Date:

Shiba Inu blockchain developer Unification has disclosed that SHIB will be supported in the soon-to-release public beta of its UNoDE.

The Unification Foundation issued this update in a recent blog post addressing a security concern in the Unification community. Among the highlighted updates was the imminent public beta release of UNoDE, the foundation’s node service.

Meanwhile, a crucial aspect concerns Shiba Inu members, as Unification has approved SHIB tokens as a payment option for its upcoming service. Prominent Shiba Inu community member Jolt spotlighted this development in a recent post on X.

UNoDE imminent Public Beta Release

The Unification Foundation disclosed encountering an unexpected surge in interest from significant partners eager to integrate UNoDE into their blockchain networks. Per the report, the development has necessitated extensive stress testing, which is underway to ensure seamless scalability.

Essentially, the renewed testing phase, amid the surge in interest in UNoDE, has led to a slight delay in the public beta release.

However, the Unification team perceives this delay as an opportunity. They believe it paves the way for larger partners to extend UNoDE’s usefulness to their communities, broadening the project’s original vision and potential.

Shiba Inu Payment Supported

Meanwhile, the Unification Foundation has also introduced support for payments using various tokens for UNoDE. Per the disclosure, it reached this decision by following community requests and feedback

The supported list of tokens includes Shiba Inu (SHIB), Shibarium gas token, Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), and Ethereum (ETH) alongside the native FUND token. However, the Unification team noted that users opting for FUND tokens will enjoy exclusive pricing and benefits.

UNoDE

Notably, UNoDE is a privacy-focused blockchain node and software service platform. It aims to provide decentralized and trustless transactional systems while ensuring user anonymity and privacy.

The subscription pricing for UNoDE will vary depending on the size and scope of usage. As outlined in a previous update, potential subscription fees include $5 to $10 per month for the average DeFi user. In contrast, DeFi dApp providers can expect an average monthly fee of around $50.

Overall, the private beta testing for UNoDE is ongoing. The Unification Foundation eagerly anticipates making the public beta available soon.
