For context, the first edition of this year’s Token2049 conference was held in Dubai on April 18 and 19, 2024. As reported earlier, Shiba Inu participated in the conference as a gold sponsor. 

According to the recent X post, Shiba Inu’s participation as a gold sponsor allowed the ecosystem team to actively engage with other participants while showcasing the potential that decentralization carries.

According to the announcement, Shiba Inu took part in the Crypto Polo Cup competition, where it competed against leading wallet provider Bitcoin.com. 

Although Shiba Inu lost the match, the experience showcased its competitive spirit, as observed among its community members. 

Networking with Other Industry Leaders 

In addition, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team stated that it utilized the opportunity presented by its gold sponsorship to network with other industry leaders and innovators at the conference.
