Renowned financial author Robert Kiyosaki has recently forecasted a Bitcoin price of $500,000 by next year and up to $1 million before the end of this decade.
Kiyosaki issued this bold forecast in a recent commentary on the financial market in a post on X. He drew attention to a forthcoming book by fellow financial expert Jim Rickards, titled “Money GPT.”
Kiyosaki enthusiastically endorsed the book, urging financially savvy individuals to pre-order it and gain valuable insights into the future of money. He emphasized that the book’s revelations about the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the financial world are both unsettling and enlightening.
Consequently, he noted that reading it will give readers a unique advantage in navigating the impending changes.
According to Kiyosaki, the good news is that Jim Rickards’ predictions about the future of money, as outlined in his book “Money GPT,” suggest that Bitcoin is poised for a significant surge in value.
Specifically, Kiyosaki highlighted that Rickards’ forecast implies that Bitcoin could reach as high as $500,000 by 2025 and potentially even $1 million by 2030.
While bold Bitcoin forecasts like this are not rare in the crypto community, Kiyosaki’s post has attracted significant attention, with some challenging his outlook for the broader financial market.
Bitcoin Rallying by 686% to $500K
Kiyosaki’s projection implies that he anticipates Bitcoin’s peak in this ongoing bull market at $500,000. Currently, Bitcoin is worth $63,550, up over 7.84% over the past week and 140% since last year. In other words, the financial pundit projects a massive growth of 686% over the next year.
Notably, numerous analysts in the crypto community have expressed similar sentiment that Bitcoin’s run for this cycle will max out at $500,000. However, conservative voices argue that a more realistic outlook is between $100,000 and $150,000. At $500,000, Bitcoin’s fully diluted market cap would be at $10.5 trillion.
Other Experts Agree Bitcoin to $1M by 2030
While skepticism abounds around Bitcoin’s ability to reach $500,000 by next year, industry pundits are nearly unanimous in their agreement on the $1 million price point by 2030.
In June, analysts of asset management firm Bernstein argued that Bitcoin could attain $1 million per coin by 2033. Likewise, former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey argued in May that Bitcoin would be “at least” $1 million by 2030. Notably, at this lofty price, Bitcoin’s market cap will be at $21 trillion.
