Widely followed investor Paul Barron has shared his view on XRP breaking into the double-digit price range someday.

This came during a recent podcast featuring Rupert from Allin Crypto. Rupert highlighted that crypto markets, often driven by human behavior, are entering a critical stage.

While activity in the altcoin space has been slower recently, he suggested that September could mark a turning point with the potential approval of spot ETFs. Rupert noted that historically, ETF approval news and their effectiveness in driving investment have sparked strong price reactions, particularly for Bitcoin.

Meanwhile, he emphasized that Bitcoin’s four-year cycle continues to influence the market, though altcoins are beginning to show independent momentum. As Bitcoin dominance trends downward, Ethereum and other altcoins are gaining strength, gradually leading to the altcoin season.

You’re Not Bullish Enough on XRP

In this context, Rupert highlighted XRP’s unique position, stating that the market is underestimating its potential.

“XRP has a kind of unique positioning with regard to its own specific news. I don’t think people are bullish enough. In fact, I think you’re going to see insane things,” he said.

Building on this bullish outlook, Rupert predicted XRP could reach $19.27 in the near term. Notably, XRP is currently trading at $2.95, and reaching this lofty target would require a growth of 553%. This would also give XRP a a new all-time high valuation of $1.14 trillion.

Rupert believes the value could climb even higher. “Beyond that, how do you value XRP?” he asked Paul Barron.

$60 Could Be Next

Host Paul Barron expanded on that outlook, pointing to larger catalysts that could drive a dramatic move higher for XRP. He suggested that if XRP ever approaches $20, it would signal that something significant has changed.

Specifically, he cited possibilities such as ETFs opening the door for 401(k) allocations or XRP replacing SWIFT in international settlements.

While he dismissed extreme forecasts of $500 or $1,000 per token in the near term, Barron set his own target of $60. He stated that this is where he believes XRP could land within 12 months if the bullish catalysts do unfold.

Notably, XRP has a significant journey ahead to reach $60—or even $20. Its price would need to increase by 1,933% to reach $60, or 578% to hit $20. For context, a $60 XRP would imply a market cap of $3.56 trillion, surpassing Bitcoin’s current valuation.

Interestingly, analyst Dustin Layton has expressed a similar sentiment, albeit with a more aggressive timeline. Layton believes XRP could reach $50 by the end of this year.

Strong Community Momentum

Meanwhile, Barron also shared insights from his Market Sentiment Index (MSI), a tool for tracking investor sentiment across social platforms. He noted that XRP hit an all-time high in MSI during mid-July, coinciding with a major price rally. Another surge in sentiment on August 3 also aligned with upward price action.

For Barron, these data points confirm that XRP’s community plays a powerful role in driving momentum. When sentiment spikes, price moves tend to follow. This supports his view that XRP could be set for significant gains if current trends continue.
