Crypto CEO Says Even if XRP Hits $100, It Won’t Mean Much Without a Plan

Jake Claver, CEO of Digital Ascension Group, warns that XRP investors risk squandering potential gains if they lack a clear financial strategy.

In a Wednesday tweet, Claver cautioned the crypto community against complacency, saying, “Too many people in crypto are flying blind.”

He stressed that even if XRP were to surge to $100 per token, it would mean little for investors who don’t have a plan to manage their wealth effectively.

Preparation Ahead of Big Gains

Claver advised holders to define their financial goals, document their strategies, and prepare ahead of time before emotions take over during a bull run. “Financial freedom doesn’t come from hoping,” he added, emphasizing that it comes from having a clear plan when the opportunity arises.

His commentary highlights the importance of preparing ahead of the windfall many expect from XRP. The coin currently trades just above $3. However, industry leaders like Claver forecast returns that could exceed 3,200%, far surpassing what traditional stocks like Apple, NVIDIA, and Tesla have delivered over the past five years.

Given that such an outcome could significantly change the financial standing of the average investor, Claver stresses the need for a solid plan so that newfound wealth isn’t quickly lost.

How to Prepare for Wealth Before the Windfall

Claver has consistently emphasized that investors must establish legal, tax, and security structures in advance. He argues that trusts, LLCs, and digital asset custody solutions should be tailored specifically for crypto, rather than relying on traditional frameworks for fiat wealth. This proactive approach ensures that any future XRP profits are secure and tax efficient.

In response, one commenter shared their own plan. Notably, the plan involves gradually selling from their 1,000 XRP holdings at various psychological price levels and securing real estate over the next ten years.

XRP Future Outlook and the Reality of Wealth Management

Speculation around XRP’s long-term price remains a hot topic. Some long-term forecasts suggest levels up to $100, as noted in Claver’s recent post.

At $100, a holding of 5,000 XRP worth just $15,000 today would balloon to half a million dollars. This elevates an average investor toward millionaire status.

Interestingly, Claver is among the XRP bulls who believe a $10,000 price is a future possibility. In such a hypothetical scenario, even holding just 500 XRP could result in a portfolio valued at $5 million.

While these projections are enticing, Claver and other consultants, including Armando Pantoja, argue that the real challenge isn’t making money but keeping it.

According to Pantoja, sudden crypto wealth often disappears within 18 months if no strategy is in place. Due to this high risk, he stresses diversification into Bitcoin and real-world assets like farmland and dividend-paying stocks.

“Let’s Reach ATH First”

While XRP bulls continue to entertain hopes of massive future gains, critics argue that such discussions may be premature. They contend the coin should first surpass its all-time high and aim for $10 before claims of reaching $100 or beyond can be taken seriously.
