XRP Rich List Shifts: How Much XRP Puts You in the Top 10%, 4%, 2% and 1% of Holders?

The XRP Rich List has continued to show a lower entry point for the top 10%, 4%, 2%, and 1% of holders amid the growing user base and declining prices.

This consistent drop shows that investors now need fewer XRP to reach the same percentile than they did in previous years. As more wallets join the XRP Ledger, the distribution of holdings changes and lowers the balance needed for several fixed percentile groups.

With XRP currently trading at $1.54, the current top 10% is worth $3,221, the top 4% is valued at $15,415, the top 2% at $33,110, while 1% threshold is worth around $67,000. Essentially, the growing number of accounts continues to drop the amount of XRP needed to reach each tier.

The Top 1% on XRP Rich List

In 2025, an investor needed about 50,000 XRP to reach the top 1%. By early 2026, the figure had dropped to around 46,521 XRP. It fell again to roughly 45,000 XRP in July 2026, while the latest Oct. 2, 2026, update puts the threshold below 44,000 XRP.

The latest Rich List data puts the minimum balance for the top 1% at 43,995 XRP. A total of 81,993 accounts currently hold at least this amount. This compares with roughly 50,370 accounts in the January 2024 snapshot, and shows how much the number of qualifying accounts has increased.

At the current XRP price of $1.54, holding 43,995 XRP gives an estimated value of approximately $67,753. In January 2024, investors needed roughly 64,077 XRP to reach the same ranking.

This shows that the requirement has fallen by about 31% in under three years. The growing number of XRP Ledger accounts is the main contributing factor, since a larger holder base changes the balance needed to stay within a fixed percentile.

Top 2%, Top 4% and Top 10%

The figures for the other major tiers show the same trend. Notably, the top 2% now starts at 21,500 XRP, which is worth roughly $33,110 at $1.54 per XRP. For the top 4%, an investor needs at least 10,010 XRP, equal to $15,415. A total of 327,970 accounts currently meet this level.

The top 10% requires 2,091 XRP, worth about $3,221 at the current XRP price. The higher tiers require much larger balances. For instance, the top 0.5% starts at 79,752 XRP, which carries a value of approximately $122,819, with 40,997 addresses meeting the threshold.

The requirement rises further for the top 0.2%, where holders need at least 156,490 XRP, worth roughly $241,115. This level includes 16,399 accounts. At the top 0.1%, the minimum rises to 275,019 XRP, equivalent to approximately $423,529, with only 8,200 accounts holding this amount or more.

The Elite 0.01% from the XRP Rich List

At the highest level of the XRP Rich List, the top 0.01% consists of only 820 accounts, and each account holds at least 3,784,253 XRP.

At $1.54 per XRP, the balance is worth approximately $5.83 million. This group includes major institutional wallets, exchange custody accounts, and large long-term holders whose XRP positions have remained substantial across several market cycles.

The broader figures also show how much the XRP Ledger has grown. Its account base has increased by roughly 63% since early 2024, while the XRP balance needed to reach several fixed percentile groups has declined.
