A new Shiba Inu whale adds 3,504,812,794,902 (3.50T) SHIB, worth $40,235,250 ($40.23M) in a single transaction, according to recent data from Etherscan.io. The whale now ranks as the 30th largest holder of Shiba Inu and only holds SHIB tokens in her wallet. The transaction took place just one hour before the time of writing.
This news coincides with the announcement that the Shiba Inu team plans to release a crypto portal alongside the upgraded version of ShibaSwap. The portal will provide a platform for news, statistics, charts, trends, and other information for the community.
On the other hand, Analyst Ali Martinez reports that Shiba Inu has witnessed a surge in network activity, with nearly 36,000 active addresses interacting on the network in late March 2023, setting a new record for the digital asset.
In addition, Shiba Inu’s popularity has exceeded expectations among CoinMarketCap users. The Q1 report released by CMC shows that Shiba Inu has become one of the most watched cryptocurrencies on the platform, with investors worldwide closely monitoring the token’s price movements.
Shiba Inu is up 5% in 24 hours, along with other Doge-themed coins after Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo to Dogecoin.
