Wealth Mentor Says XRP Could Reach $100, Says Don’t Wait to Invest, Invest and Wait

0

Linda Jones, a well-known wealth mentor in the cryptocurrency space, has made a bold prediction regarding the future of XRP.

In a recent tweet, she shared her insights into the XRP’s growth and urged investors to get in early before it’s too late. Jones illustrated the potential of XRP using her personal experience of investing $100 in the asset.

XRP $100 Investment Then vs. Now

Jones disclosed that when she first began investing in XRP, a $100 investment would buy 400 XRP tokens. This referred to the period XRP sold around $0.25. Specifically, XRP last traded in this range four years ago, in January 2021. Since then, XRP has gone to trade at as high as $2.9.

As the price of XRP has steadily risen, that same $100 investment today would only buy fewer than 50 tokens. This sharp decline in the number of XRP tokens bought with $100 indicates the asset’s price growth. As of today, XRP is trading at $2.13, up by 250% over the past year.

Future Outlook: $100 Could Buy Just 1 XRP

Given the progressively reduced quantity of tokens a $100 investment can buy, Jones issued a bold outlook for the asset. She predicts that in the future, a $100 investment might only be enough to buy a single XRP token.

This projection highlights her belief that XRP’s price will continue to rise significantly in the coming years, reaching as high as $100 per token. Accordingly, she urged crypto community members not to sleep on XRP.

“Don’t wait to invest, invest and wait,” she said. Her statement suggests that while timing the market is complex, the key to success lies in buying and holding for the long term.

Meanwhile, Jones cautioned that her message does not constitute financial advice. Instead, it is a personal opinion rather than professional investment advice.

Community Reaction to XRP Investment Insight

Reacting to Linda Jones’s tweet, Rob Cunningham, host of KUWL.show, expressed his agreement with her perspective on XRP investment. He emphasized that while money cannot buy patience, patience can make one a millionaire. This sentiment suggests that those entering the market today must be patient to reap the rewards in the years to come.

Meanwhile, X user Mr. Hillard shared his own experience, recalling that when he first started investing in XRP, $100 bought him 769 tokens. “I have been a happy camper ever since,” he said.

He concluded that sometimes it pays to do thorough research early on something intriguing and to go all in with faith in your findings.

Analyst Says If You Don’t Hold at Least 10,000 XRP, You’re Making a Lifetime Mistake

0

As the crypto market prepares to welcome 2025, market analysts are advising XRP holders to reconsider their exposure to the asset as the year unfolds.

In a tweet, Edo Farina, founder of Alpha Lions Academy, issued a bold statement, warning that those not holding at least 10,000 XRP tokens could be making a lifetime mistake.

His message suggests that individuals who fall short of this threshold could miss out on the potential fortune that could accumulate from XRP in the coming years, especially considering that the asset is still seen as relatively inexpensive.

Farina believes holding at least 10,000 XRP is the minimum for anyone positioning themselves for the promising year ahead. Meanwhile, Farina is not the only one advocating for XRP enthusiasts to hold 10,000 tokens to secure their future.

Previously, well-known crypto influencer The Crypto Asset Guy also argued that holding 10,000 XRP could make investors millionaires. He based his bold projection on the case of XRP reaching $100 in the future.

Financial Cost of 10,000 XRP

At press time, XRP trades at $2.07, reflecting an 8% discount from its weekly high. At the current price, acquiring 10,000 XRP would require an initial investment of $20,700.

Supporters of this strategy argue that this sum is a bargain when considering the potential of the investment, which could be worth millions in a hypothetical future.

However, some market participants have faulted Farina’s call. They noted that acquiring 10,000 XRP is out of reach for many retail investors.

For instance, XRP holder TJ Glen expressed frustration, stating that she cannot afford 10,000 XRP at its current price. She mentioned that she had purchased XRP for as low as $0.27 years ago, later acquiring more at $0.52.

“I can only afford small amounts now, and soon I will be priced out, but I feel I have enough to be okay,” she commented.

How Many Wallets Hold 10,000 XRP?

Over the past seven years, XRP has mostly traded between $0.40 and $0.50. As of November 1, it was still available for $0.50, meaning 10,000 XRP could have been purchased for $5,000. However, even at this relatively lower price, it was still out of reach for many.

For context, of the 5.8 million wallets holding XRP, the overwhelming majority (around 5.37 million) hold fewer than 5,000 XRP. Only around 429,000 wallets hold at least 10,000 XRP.

Interestingly, these holders control only 1.42 billion XRP of the circulating supply, illustrating just how inaccessible 10,000 XRP is for many investors.

Poppe Shares Most Optimal Entry Points for XRP Amid Correction

0

An analyst has shared what he described as the optimal entry points for XRP, the XRP Ledger native token, as the broader market downtrend endures.

XRP’s southward spiral has entered the fourth consecutive week as the crypto market continues to retrace. Notably, analysts view this correction as healthy, insisting assets should consolidate after a bullish outburst for sustainable upsides.

As XRP consolidates, an analyst has updated the community on the asset’s current price action. In a December 30 post, MN Consultancy’s founder, Michael van de Poppe, provided sniper entries for XRP for maximum gains.

XRP Remains the Same

The top strategist maintains that nothing remarkable has happened in the XRP chart. Notably, this aligns with an earlier assertion from analyst Egrag Crypto, who insisted that XRP remains on course despite the downtrend.

Furthermore, Van de Poppe suggested that the XRPL native token is consolidating after a bullish outburst. For context, the digital asset surged over 400% in November following bullish macroeconomic factors like the resignation of U.S. SEC boss Gary Gensler and Donald Trump’s win.

Meanwhile, the analyst mentioned price levels, which he suggested are optimal entry points. He marked the levels in an accompanying 1-day timeframe chart, connoting that XRP could rebound from the major support areas.

Optimal XRP Entry Points

Strategist Shares Ideal Higher Timeframe Entries

According to the analyst’s chart, the support area around $1.8185 is a potential buy zone for XRP. Notably, the asset has rebounded twice from this area, reinstating the strong demand wall around this crucial support.

For context, XRP bounced from the zone on December 10 after capitulating to an intraday low of $1.9010. Also, the digital asset repeated the same price action ten days later, rebounding from another low of $1.9584.

Meanwhile, Van de Poppe pointed out that $1.5764 is another demand zone where bulls should consider buying XRP. Last month, the former supply zone temporarily impeded XRP’s bullish momentum before the coin successfully flipped the area.

The analyst stated that XRP would retest higher timeframe supports, and he expects either of them to hold. Moreover, the rebound from either support will spur a retest of the December high and, subsequently, XRP’s all-time high.

In the meantime, XRP trades at $2.0699, below the 20-day EMA, which analyst Dom speculated was the bearish territory. The asset has corrected over 7% in the past seven days, mirroring a broader market downtrend.

Elon Musk Sends Kekius Maximus Coins Flying With X Stunt: Here’s What’s Happening

0

Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk is no stranger to whipping up controversy with his social media antics, which occasionally have ripple effects on the crypto market.

In the latest instance, the billionaire has sent the price of meme coins inspired by a Grok-created meme soaring with an X stunt. Here’s what’s happening.

Elon Musk Changes Profile

Over the past 24 hours, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has whipped up a frenzy with changes to his X profile. Specifically, he changed his profile name to Kekius Maximus and his display picture to a picture of the Grok-created meme.

For the uninitiated, Kekius Maximus is a Grok-generated meme that combines the famous pepe meme with Gladiator’s Maximus character.

The meme had inspired several meme coins across the Ethereum and Solana blockchains, the oldest of which appeared to have launched 17 days ago. All of them have now soared to record highs following Elon Musk’s X stunt.

At the time of writing, the Solana version has risen by 16,000% over the past 24 hours, while the Ethereum version has risen by over 700%, per DEX Screener data. Each boasts market capitalizations of $1.6 million and $123 million, respectively.

So what’s happening, and why has Elon Musk changed this profile?

Toying With Mainstream Media

Despite some reports suggesting that the move might be a sign of Musk’s support for the meme coin, it appears to be part of a ploy to toy with mainstream news outlets following recent speculation that he has been using a burner account, “Adrian Dittman,” to praise and defend himself on the platform.

Following the profile change, the billionaire has enjoyed laughs about mainstream media reporting the situation.

The inspiration for the choice of the Kekius Maximus name appears to have come from an interaction with Alex “ALX” Lorusso, executive producer of the popular right-wing podcast The Benny Show.

Amid the debate over Musk’s ties to Adrian Dittman, Lorusso joked on Monday, December 30, that if the Tesla chief had an alternative account, it would be called “Kekius Maximus or Biggus Dickus.”

Musk responded to Lorusso’s post, stating that his only alternative accounts were “cybergamer” and “babysmurf9000,” which he used to beta-test software.

It is currently unclear if Lorusso has any significant ties to the Kekius Maximus meme coin beyond supporting it, perhaps for its ties to Pepe, which has controversial right-wing roots. His first post tied to the meme came on December 10.

WallStreetBets Founder Predicts XRP Price if Global Crypto Market Cap Hits $5T

0

WallStreetBets founder Jaime Rogozinski has used the recent XRP surge to speculate on its potential if the broader crypto market cap hits $5 trillion.

XRP remains one of the top gainers in the latest bull rally, soaring by over 400% within a month. Specifically, XRP’s price surged to a seven-year high of $2.86 on December 3, a five-fold increase from its November low of around $0.49. At the time, it reclaimed the third position in the global crypto ranking.

Even though XRP has slumped heavily below its seven-year peak, Rogozinski still believes it could surge tremendously if the broader crypto market clinches a $5 trillion valuation in 2025.

XRP Price if Global Crypto Market Cap Reaches $5T

At the time of writing, the global crypto market is valued at $3.33 trillion. XRP currently accounts for 3.6% of this valuation, with its market cap currently standing at $119.05 billion. According to Rogozinski’s projection, the global crypto market cap must surge by 50.15% to clinch the $5 trillion target.

If this happens, Rogozinski predicted that the price of XRP will soar to $8, representing a surge of 263.63% from the current value of $2.2.

This dramatic surge will represent a significant return on investment for holders. For instance, investors who spend $27,500 today to acquire 12,500 XRP would see their investment rise to $100,000 if the coin’s price hits the $8 target.

XRP to $8 Predictions

Meanwhile, several market experts have forecasted XRP’s potential rally to $8 if the global crypto market cap rises to $5 trillion. This estimation gained momentum earlier the year after Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse projected that the value of the crypto market could increase to $5 trillion by the end of this year.

Last month, prominent crypto analyst EGRAG predicted that XRP could surge to $8.77 if Garlinghouse’s prediction materializes. Earlier this month, EGRAG noted that XRP is capable of soaring to $8.1 as long as the coin maintains bullish momentum.

However, he emphasized that Bitcoin’s performance, particularly its potential surge to around $130,000, is a crucial catalyst for XRP’s possible rally to the $8.1 target.

Investors Optimistic About XRP Potential Under Trump Administration

In the meantime, investors are optimistic about XRP’s potential under the next administration, led by Donald Trump. His unending support for the crypto industry has birthed speculations that the SEC v. Ripple lawsuit, which has negatively impacted XRP’s performance over the past few years, could soon be resolved.

Amid this speculation, some market observers also forecasted that the U.S. SEC might approve one or multiple XRP ETF S-1 filings next year, potentially driving the coin’s price to unprecedented levels.

Trillion-Dollar Asset Manager Identifies 3 Key Crypto Themes to Watch in 2025

0

After a whirlwind year in 2024, crypto market participants are setting their sights on 2025, wondering what the new year may hold for the asset class.

Amid the questions and the speculation, leading asset manager Franklin Templeton has offered three themes for investors to watch in the new year.

Franklin Templeton’s 2025 Crypto Outlook

$1.68 trillion asset manager Franklin Templeton has offered its crypto outlook for 2025. In the outlook shared on Monday, December 30, the firm identified three themes for investors to watch. These themes include regulations, institutional adoption, and AI-crypto convergence.

Regulatory Clarity Coming

Franklin Templeton tipped 2025 to usher in regulatory clarity for crypto, with U.S. regulators like the SEC leading the way. These sentiments come in light of the incoming Donald Trump administration’s anticipated pro-crypto policy leanings and the imminent change of the SEC guard.

Trump has nominated Paul Atkins, who is widely known as a crypto advocate, for the SEC’s chairman.

Under clearer regulatory skies, Franklin Templeton expects to see the approval of more diversified crypto-focused funds. Other asset managers already appear to be banking on this trend. Strive has recently submitted an application to launch a Bitcoin Bond ETF. On the other hand, Bitwise has filed to launch a Bitcoin Standard Corporations ETF.

Franklin Templeton expects this regulatory climate to unlock new levels of institutional integration with crypto.

Tokenization and Stablecoins

With more explicit guidance from the SEC, Franklin Templeton expects to see more tokenized security products from traditional finance institutions.

The asset manager also expects these institutions to take a stab at the stablecoin market as market participants anticipate a stablecoin regulatory framework from lawmakers.

Notably, this trend is already observable in the European Union. Following the passing of MiCA, ventures tied to banking giants like Societe Generale, Deutsche Bank, and BBVA are already throwing their hats in the ring to launch Euro-backed stablecoins.

Franklin Templeton contends that this greater institutional adoption in the form of tokenization and stablecoin development will be major drivers for DeFi in 2025.

AI and Crypto

Beyond regulatory clarity ushering greater institutional adoption, Franklin Templeton tips 2025 to be a year of accelerated AI and crypto convergence.

The asset manager argues that blockchain technology will be key in expanding the “AI-driven economy” by offering transparency and verifiability.

Moreover, the firm expects the adoption of AI agents to grow in the automation of on-chain transactions and portfolio management.

Amid all these, Franklin Templeton predicts that Bitcoin will cement its place as a global store of value, with several countries and companies establishing strategic reserves.

The firm also expects heightened demand for decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs) as logistics and Internet of Things (IoT) industries seek greater efficiency.

Dogecoin Forms Morning Star Pattern, Eyes $0.35 Breakout

Will Dogecoin (DOGE) hold above $0.30 for a bullish breakout to the $0.35 mark?

As Bitcoin hovers near the $93,000 support level, Dogecoin has dropped by 2.75% over the past 24 hours. Despite the bearish continuation and high fluctuations, Dogecoin remains above the $0.30 mark, with a market cap of $46.16 billion.

As a whale shows confidence in the largest meme coin, the underlying sentiment hints at a bullish resurgence. With support from a divergence in the 4-hour RSI, could Dogecoin start a breakout rally in 2025?

Dogecoin Price Chart

On the 4-hour chart, Dogecoin’s price action shows solid support around the $0.30 mark. However, the long-standing resistance trendline keeps bullish growth in check, creating a consolidation pattern.

Currently, the compression in Dogecoin’s price trend forms a descending triangle pattern, cementing the crucial support at the $0.30 psychological level. This coincides with the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level, further solidifying its importance.

Dogecoin Price Chart
Dogecoin Price Chart

Dogecoin is preparing for a morning star reversal from the support zone to challenge the overhead resistance trendline. The current market price of Dogecoin stands at $0.3171, reflecting a 1.73% increase in the past 4 hours.

This pattern completes a morning star formation and challenges the 20-EMA line, signaling a potential bullish shift. Additionally, the move targets the resistance trendline, which could add momentum to the uptrend.

Increasing the chances of a bull run, the 4-hour RSI shows a bullish divergence, hinting at a bounce-back rally and instilling confidence in bullish traders.

DOGE price Targets

In case of a bullish breakout, the uptrend in Dogecoin is likely to challenge the 50% Fibonacci level at $0.3521.

Furthermore, on the flip side, if the downfall continues with Bitcoin approaching the $90,000 level, the breakdown of $0.30 seems inevitable. In such a case, the Dogecoin price is likely to test the $0.265 support level.

Ethereum Tests Support Trendline: Can Bulls Target $3,568?

Will Ethereum (ETH) trigger a triangle breakout rally in the new year, potentially reaching the next supply zone above $3,500?

With Bitcoin dropping below $93,000, Ethereum struggles to maintain critical levels. The bearish pressure on the price chart intensifies, and institutional support is at risk.

Despite these challenges, Ethereum shows potential for a bounce back. Can the ETH price trend reverse in a V-shaped pattern, leading to a breakout rally to $3,568?

Ethereum Price Analysis

Amid increasing price volatility in Bitcoin, Ethereum has fallen below the $3,400 mark. While respecting the local support trendline, Ethereum has consolidated slightly above the $3,300 mark.

Ethereum Price Chart
Ethereum Price Chart

Notably, the current market price of a single Ethereum token is $3,345. The sideways trend on the 4-hour chart shows a compression over the past few days, forming a short-term triangle pattern that suggests an explosive move ahead.

As bearish pressure grows on the Ethereum price chart, the dynamic average lines align in a bearish pattern. Specifically, the recent negative crossover of the 100-EMA and 200-EMA lines signals a sell signal.

Supporting the bearish outlook, the 4-hour RSI line struggles to stay above the halfway point. Meanwhile, the lack of bullish divergence at the support trendline indicates weak underlying demand.

Ethereum ETFs Bleed $55.41M

Similar to Bitcoin’s spot ETF, Ethereum is experiencing outflows. On December 30, Ethereum saw a daily net outflow of $55.41 million, with Fidelity withdrawing $20.41 million. With no Ethereum ETFs seeing inflows on Monday, institutional support has taken a hit.

ETH Price Targets

As Ethereum prepares to bounce off the support trendline, overhead resistance is formed by the trendline and the 50-EMA line. For a bullish continuation, Ethereum must maintain support above the $3,400 mark.

With growing anticipation of a new year rally in the crypto market, a potential breakout rally could challenge the overhead supply zone at $3,568. On the other hand, a triangle breakdown would test the $3,244 support level.

Tether Loads Reserve With Fresh 8,404 BTC Worth $776M After Months of Inactivity

0

Leading stablecoin issuer Tether has rekindled its drive to stack Bitcoin after shifting millions worth of the premier asset to its reserve wallet on Monday.

According to market intelligence platform Arkham, an address marked as the Tether Bitcoin reserve amassed 8,404 BTC worth $776.6 million on Monday. The data confirmed that the wallet received the assets from two separate addresses.

Tether Acquires New Bitcoins

The first transaction happened around 14:01 (UTC), with Tether receiving 7,629 BTC ($705 million) from crypto exchange Bitfinex’s hot wallet. An hour later, the wallet tied to the stablecoin issuer gulped another 775.56 BTC from the address “bc1qh,” totaling 8,404 BTC ($776.6 million).

Tether Bitcoin Purchase
Tether Bitcoin Purchase

Meanwhile, Tether’s Monday purchase took its total holdings to 83,759 BTC, worth $7.77 billion. With the latest buy-in, the issuer is now the second-largest privately owned Bitcoin holding company, just below blockchain firm Block.one.

Moreover, this is Tether’s first notable transaction in nine months. The last transaction on its Bitcoin reserve wallet was on March 31, when it purchased 8,888 BTC ($618 million).

Another Corporate Firm Acquires Bitcoin

Notably, Tether had pledged to periodically buy into Bitcoin, a testament to its belief in the crypto firstborn. On May 17, 2023, the USDT issuer announced it would dedicate 15% of its net realized operating profit to diversifying into the crypto asset.

Meanwhile, several corporate entities have flocked to Bitcoin since then, with its adoption hitting a fever pitch. Most recently, firms like Kurl Technology, Matador, and Rumble have opted to strategically store their reserve asset in Bitcoin amidst growing economic instability.

Furthermore, traditional names like MicroStrategy, Marathon Digital, and Metapanet have incessantly piled into Bitcoin, leveraging several debt instruments to increase their exposure to the pioneering cryptocurrency.

For instance, the Michael Saylor-chairmaned MicroStrategy acquired 2,138 BTC ($209 million) yesterday, its eighth consecutive weekly purchase.

Bitcoin Analysis: Bearish Trendline in Focus as Bulls Eye $95,119

Will the Bitcoin (BTC) price sustain above $90K as the resistance trendline dominates the price chart?

Bitcoin’s price faces bearish pressure, with a breakdown below $93,000, marking a 1.12% drop in the past 24 hours. The CMC Fear and Greed Index has declined to 48, reflecting growing uncertainty among investors.

As BTC struggles to surpass key resistance levels, technical indicators suggest potential downside risks, while analysts remain divided on the possibility of a bullish rebound.

Bitcoin Price Analysis

Respecting the long-coming resistance trend line in the 4-hour chart, the BTC price continues a bearish trend. As expected in our last article, the crucial support level at $92,750 failed to absorb the incoming supply.

The breakdown rally almost reached the $90,000 level as predicted, making a low of $91,315. With the lower price rejections, the BTC price experienced an early reversal from the estimated target of $90,742.

However, the bullish recovery to $92,748 failed to surpass the 20-EMA line and the resistance trendline. This led to a quick pullback below the $93,000 mark.

BITSTAMP:BTCUSD Chart Image by Trojan69420

Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $92,748, with a minor recovery of 0.43% in the past 4 hours. The 4-hour RSI line shows a quick turnaround from the oversold region, suggesting a possibility of sideways continuation.

The consolidation range is expected to respect the $90,742 support zone while struggling to break through the resistance trendline.

Fidelity Leads the Outflow Pack on December 30

As the market experiences a pullback, institutional support for Bitcoin declines. On December 30, the daily total net inflow of the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF registered an outflow of $426.13 million.

Bitcoin ETFs
Bitcoin ETFs

Leading the bearish pack, Fidelity saw an outflow of $154.64 million, followed by Grayscale with an exit of $134.5 million.

BTC Price Targets

With the new year on the horizon, growing bullish anticipation may push Bitcoin above the resistance trendline.

In this case, the BTC price could reach the immediate resistance level of $95,119. This is extremely close to the dynamic average line of the 50-EMA.

On a side note, the 50-EMA has generated a death cross with the 200-EMA, signaling a potential sell-off. Furthermore, the declining 100-EMA is approaching the 200-EMA for another bearish crossover event.

On the bearish front, a breakdown below $90,742 would open the door to the next support level at $86,707.

Analyst Lights Hope for 2025

Despite multiple sell signals, independent analyst Ali Martinez has highlighted a massive potential for growth in Bitcoin.

Finding a correlation between the monthly RSI in previous market peaks and the Bitcoin Liquid Index, Martinez expects the BTC price trend to continue its bullish trajectory.

In previous bull market peaks, the monthly RSI reached 92 before the start of the next bear market. Currently, the monthly RSI line sits at 75, suggesting that the ongoing bull run has more fuel left than the bears anticipate.

Ali’s comment on Bitcoin RSI

Conclusion

The Bitcoin (BTC) price trend struggles under bearish pressure as technical indicators like the death cross and declining EMAs signal a continued downtrend.

However, with RSI recovering from oversold levels and analysts suggesting more room for growth, a bullish breakout remains possible, targeting the $95,119 resistance level.
