Expert Shares Realistic XRP Price Target for Coming Bull Run

0

Expert trader Altcoin Moe shares his realistic price targets for XRP and other cryptocurrencies amid recent market movements, suggesting XRP could rally by 870%.

This week, the cryptocurrency market experienced remarkable price movements, particularly with Bitcoin making significant gains. In contrast, altcoins like XRP remained largely stagnant. XRP traded within a narrow range of $0.51 to $0.53, while Bitcoin surged to $73,500.

The lack of upward momentum for XRP during this bullish period caught the attention of both investors and market analysts. XRP supporters remain optimistic that XRP will eventually embark on its own upward trajectory.

Amid this trend, Altcoin Moe, a widely followed full-time trader, took to X to share what he considers realistic price projections for prominent crypto assets, including Bitcoin and XRP.

“Realistic” Target for Bitcoin

At the top of Moe’s list was Bitcoin, which he expects to reach a target of $115,000 “realistically” at the peak of the bull run. Two weeks ago, a notable financial platform argued that Bitcoin would peak at least at $130,000 this season.

Meanwhile, other market watchers have suggested much higher levels, with targets ranging from $200,000 to even $500,000. For instance, Bernstein analysts believe $200,000 is a more conservative target for BTC, while Moe thinks these lofty targets may not be realistic.

Notably, Bitcoin attempted to retest its all-time high this week when it surged to $73,600 on Tuesday but ultimately failed to surpass this level to create a new peak.

As for Bitcoin’s closest rival, Ethereum, Moe suggested it could reach $8,000 in this bull run. At press time, Ethereum is valued at $2,500, meaning an increase to $8,000 would represent a massive 220% growth, which Moe considers realistic. This contrasts with the 65% gains he projected for Bitcoin.

Plausible Target for XRP

For XRP, the seventh-largest cryptocurrency, Moe suggested a $5 price is realistic. Notably, XRP is currently priced at $0.5125. To reach $5, the asset would need to rally by 876%, resulting in a market cap of approximately $500 billion.

Other analysts have argued that a more realistic target for XRP during this bull run is between $2 and $3, given its poor performance since the onset of the current market trend. However, some ambitious XRP proponents believe that even $15 could be a realistic target for the asset.

Will Shiba Inu Price Reach $0.01 or $0.001 with a $10T Market Cap

0

Shiba Inu price could reach substantial heights if it ever clinches a market cap in the trillion-dollar range.

The crypto market presents ample opportunity for investors to secure considerable gains on their investments. While Bitcoin (BTC) pioneered the experience, altcoins like Shiba Inu have made massive contributions.

Shiba Inu Boasts Historic Run

For instance, a previous report from CoinGecko confirmed that SHIB turned a $13 investment to $1 million within 453 days during the 2020/2021 bull market, making it one of the most successful crypto assets and the most successful among the top 100 during that period.

This historic run has influenced several bullish projections for Shiba Inu, with analysts expecting the crypto asset to witness a similar price explosion during the ongoing bull run. Notably, SHIB has already demonstrated its potential in the first phase of the ongoing bull market, having surged nearly 400% from late February to early March.

Some individuals are optimistic that the second-largest meme coin would not miss out on this bull run. However, the extent of its rally remains uncertain. While the $0.00008 target has featured prominently among analysts, others believe SHIB could clinch a new high above $0.0001.

Meanwhile, the $0.001 and $0.01 targets have also made their way into these discussions. For instance, last month, analyst Crypto Sheriff predicted a long-term Shiba Inu target of $0.001 following a breakout. Market analytics resource CoinCodex also recently discussed how SHIB could reach $0.01.

Can SHIB Hit $0.001 and $0.01 at $10T Market Cap

However, despite the prevalence of these audacious targets, most investors remain skeptical. Altcoin Daily’s Aaron Arnold argued last month that it is impossible for Shiba Inu to reach $0.01. This skepticism is due to SHIB’s extensive circulating supply, which would lead to unimaginable market caps at such high prices.

Nonetheless, some argue that Shiba Inu has the capability of hitting greater market caps in the future as more capital flows into the market, eventually surpassing the previous peak of $40 billion attained in late 2021.

Amid these projections, we recently assessed if SHIB could reach the $0.01 and $0.001 targets should its market cap hit an audacious $10 trillion. Notably, at a $10 trillion market valuation, Shiba Inu would boast a price of $0.0169, given its current circulating supply of 589 trillion tokens.

This price essentially puts Shiba Inu above the $0.01 price and the $0.001 level. However, while this presents a hypothetical scenario in which SHIB might claim these targets, the $10 trillion market valuation is highly improbable for SHIB, especially in the current market landscape.

Shiba Inu Primed for a Strong 2025 as Top Platform Projects Rally to $0.0000495

0

The financial forecast platform InvestingHaven has boldly stated that Shiba Inu is poised for a promising 2025 due to its recent resilience in the market.

Currently, Shiba Inu is trading at $0.00001775, up 5% over the past week. At the start of the week, it was at $0.000016 but quickly rebounded to near $0.00002. After a brief pullback, SHIB dipped just above $0.00001700 but is rapidly recouping lost ground.

Amid this performance, InvestingHaven took to X to highlight Shiba Inu’s resilience, revising its projection for the asset upwards.

Now “Ultra-Bullish” on SHIB

Initially, the platform predicted that SHIB would dip to $0.0000144 in October. However, the lowest point SHIB reached that month was $0.00001553, occurring early on the 3rd. InvestingHaven acknowledged the efforts of Shiba Inu bulls in preventing further declines.

The platform had suggested that if SHIB could maintain a closing price above $0.0000144 in October, it would solidify its position for a potential rally in 2025. Notably, Shiba Inu ended October at $0.00001973, representing a 27% gain from the month’s low.

This unexpected buying interest is now viewed as a strong bullish indicator, prompting InvestingHaven to revise its stance on SHIB to “ultra-bullish” for 2025.

Shiba Inu Primed for a “Strong” 2025

Specifically, InvestingHaven asserts that Shiba Inu is set for a robust rally into 2025. The platform’s projections for SHIB in 2025 anticipate high volatility and substantial price swings, with a trading range expected between a low of $0.0000144 and a high of $0.0000495.

This wide range suggests potential opportunities for both short-term traders and long-term investors, as the platform notes that market participants will have multiple favorable entry points for SHIB in 2025.

Notably, the upper target of $0.0000495 represents a substantial 179% gain from Shiba Inu’s current market value. It’s worth mentioning that Shiba Inu last reached $0.0000495 in 2021.

The asset approached this level in March when it rallied to $0.000045 but has since lost most of those gains. Market participants hope that reattaining this level will pave the way for further price surges.

Meanwhile, InvestingHaven’s suggestion that SHIB could trade at $0.0000144 in 2025 implies that current investors might experience a short-term loss of 20% before a potential 178% price surge.

Notably, InvestingHaven’s most ambitious target for Shiba Inu beyond 2025 is $0.00007436.

Investors Heavily Loading Bitcoin as US Election Approaches: CNBC Reports

0

Media outlet CNBC reports that global investors are turning to Bitcoin, the pioneering cryptocurrency, as the US presidential election fever intensifies.

In a Friday publication, CNBC reported increasing traction among investors towards cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin. The media outlet noted that the firstborn of the nascent sector, which has been one of the hot topics in months leading up to the election, has seen millions of dollars poured into it.

Investors Show Appetite Towards Bitcoin ETFs

As election proceedings draw nearer, US investors have shown a high appetite towards Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), a traditional financial vehicle that provides alternative exposure to the largest cryptocurrency by market cap.

The surging interest has recently been evident in the US ETFs’ incessant inflows. In the past three weeks, the Bitcoin investment vehicles have recorded a net inflow of $5.6 billion, as flows reach their highest levels since February.

Notably, the BlackRock iShare Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) has seen the highest inflow since the renewed traction. The asset manager has netted $4.4 billion in the past three weeks, accounting for 79% of all the Bitcoin acquired among US issuers.

Trump Trade Sentiment Driving Traction

The report tied the growing inflows to Wall Street’s bet that the sector will flourish following Republican nominee Donald Trump’s win amid his increasing odds of victory. Analysts have called cryptocurrency the “Trump trade,” with several assertions of a price upsurge if the pro-crypto candidate wins on November 5.

Trump has displayed a friendly stance towards digital assets, mentioning that he wants to make America the crypto capital of the world and intends to store Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset. With his odds of victory surging extensively, investors are all looking to position themselves for maximum gains in assets he has shown interest in.

Notably, the increased traction has impacted Bitcoin’s price, bringing the premier crypto asset close to its all-time high. Bitcoin traded above $73,000 on Tuesday but failed to hold the price mark, falling to $69,672 at the time of writing.

Shiba Inu Could Go Parabolic as SHIB Lead Posts Mysterious ‘Growvember’ Message

0

Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous leader of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, shares a mysterious message on his X account, suggesting an imminent parabolic rally for SHIB.

According to the X post, the Shiba Inu leader shared a cryptic message containing the word “Growvember.” The post, which reads, “Yeah, well, you won’t get quite Shy in Growvember,” was accompanied by an anime-styled animated GIF.

Bullish November?

Even though Kusama locked the comment section, the post has attracted the attention of several Shiba Inu community members. It currently boasts 28,600 views, alongside 1,046 likes and 236 reposts.

While the comment remains locked, some enthusiasts quoted the tweet to suggest that Kusama might be expecting a bullish November for Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens.

For context, investors normally consider October to be the most bullish month for digital assets. Interestingly, October 2024 did not disappoint as the prices of various digital assets, ranging from cryptos to stocks, skyrocketed massively.

Apparently, Kusama has included November, which he referred to as “Growvember,” to the list of months expected to be bullish for cryptos.

Analyst Anticipates a Bullish November for SHIB

Besides Kusama, several crypto experts expect November to be favorable for cryptos. Specifically, Shiba Inu’s community figure and analyst Oscar Ramos projected that Bitcoin (BTC) would register a new all-time high (ATH) record in November.

The analyst speculated that the move would positively impact the altcoin market, benefiting Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, including SHIB.

SHIB Current Performance

In the meantime, SHIB has witnessed a decline of 4.20% since the beginning of this month. Despite the correction, SHIB is still up 5.53% over the past seven days and 3.94% in the past 24 hours.

Shiba Inu Investors have remained bullish this month, as they expect the outcome of the U.S. presidential election to positively impact crypto prices. With less than three days left before the election commences, data from Polymarket shows pro-Bitcoin presidential candidate Donald Trump has a 58% chance of emerging victorious, while his opponent Kamala Harris has 42%.

Crypto prices, including Shiba Inu, are expected to skyrocket this month if Trump is reelected in the next few days. Conversely, a win for Harris could bearishly impact crypto prices.

XRP Sees Longest Bollinger Bands Squeeze in History, Hinting at Possible Price Explosion

0

XRP may be laying the groundwork for a massive price explosion due to a historical squeeze in its Bollinger Bands.

This indicator, which measures price volatility, has shown major patterns in the past that have often led to notable price explosions. Interestingly, the current data suggests that XRP might be on the verge of another big movement.

XRP Historical Bollinger Band Squeeze

For context, in 2016, XRP began a period of Bollinger Bands compression that lasted from August 2016 to February 2017. During this time, XRP was in a consolidation phase, holding within a relatively stable range.

Once this squeeze period concluded, XRP’s price skyrocketed, marking one of the most impressive price surges in its history.

In the months following the squeeze, XRP’s value rose dramatically from $0.00555 to an all-time high of $3.31 by January 2018. This marked an increase of nearly 60,000% within a year.

After this massive price rise, XRP began to retrace, and by May 2020, another Bollinger Bands squeeze was underway. This squeeze persisted until October 2020, when XRP saw renewed upward momentum.

XRP 1M Chart
XRP 1M Chart

However, XRP’s price rally faced a major challenge when the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit against Ripple in December 2020. This lawsuit led to a sudden drop in XRP’s price, with a 66.97% decline in December following a 177.23% rally in November.

Despite the setback, XRP’s price did not remain stagnant for long. Following the lawsuit’s initial impact, XRP resumed its bullish trajectory and reached a cycle peak of $1.96 in April 2021. This represented a 717% gain from its low point, achieved despite the legal issues.

XRP Now Facing Another Squeeze

Many analysts believe that XRP’s price could have climbed even higher and potentially exceeded its January 2018 all-time high of $3.31 if not for the legal challenges stemming from the SEC case.

Now, XRP’s Bollinger Bands are experiencing another squeeze, which began in December 2023 and has continued for nearly a year. This is currently the longest squeeze in XRP’s history, and long squeezes often signal more dramatic price movements.

However, whether this breakout will lead to a significant rally or a sharp decline remains uncertain. The extended squeeze has captured the attention of market analysts and XRP investors, who are closely watching for any signs of a breakout.

Another indicator that could help predict XRP’s upcoming movement is the Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the monthly chart. Historically, the RSI has also shown patterns preceding XRP breakouts.

During previous Bollinger Bands squeezes, XRP’s monthly RSI typically ranged between 48 and 51. Right before a breakout, however, the RSI would drop close to 47.

This pattern occurred in February 2017, just before XRP’s price surged, with an RSI level of 47.18. It happened again in October 2020 when the RSI dropped to 47.51, just as XRP began its upward trend.

At present, XRP’s RSI is hovering around 48.41, with the price trading for $0.5122. A dip toward the 47 level could serve as a signal that XRP is on the brink of a breakout. However, if the pattern holds, XRP’s price may face a brief decline before this anticipated upward move takes place.

Switzerland’s Banking Giant UBS Launches Its First Tokenized Fund on Ethereum

0

UBS, Switzerland’s largest bank, has launched a maiden tokenized investment fund on the Ethereum network, its first tokenized product on the network.

The banking giant, which manages assets worth $5.7 trillion, achieved a notable milestone after launching the asset. Named the UBS USD Money Market Investment Fund Token (uMINT), the investment tool bridges the gap between traditional finance and digital technology.

uMINT holders would have exclusive access to UBS’s institutional-level cash management solutions. The Ethereum-based digital token allows users to invest in the Switzerland-based bank’s money market instruments, which are characterized by a conservative, risk-averse framework.

UBS Forays into Asset Tokenization

The leading bank’s recent launch is part of its global distributed ledger technology strategy. UBS’s asset management arm aims to leverage public and private blockchains with smart contract capabilities to enhance fund issuance and distribution.

Switzerland’s largest bank has been exploring blockchain technology as early as 2023 through its in-house provider, UBS Tokenize. This facilitated UBS Asset Management’s launch of its live pilot of a tokenized Variable Capital Company (VCC) fund on Ethereum the same year.

Meanwhile, UBS Asset Management has conducted other notable blockchain-based transactions. For instance, using its natively-issued digital bond, it executed the world’s first cross-border repurchase transaction on a public blockchain.

Asset Tokenization Surging in TradFi

Traction towards real-world asset (RWA) tokenization has recently surged as traditional financial institutions leverage the technology to enhance their market presence. Leading asset managers like BlackRock and Franklin Templeton have indicated interest in the emerging trend.

For context, Franklin Templeton recently expanded trading its OnChain US Government Money Market Funds, FOBXX, to Coinbase’s layer 2 scaling solution, Base. The fund now trades on six blockchains, including Avalanche and Arbitrum. In March, BlackRock launched BUIDL, a tokenized fund on Ethereum, in March.

Notably, chains like XRPL and Cardano have also seen their fair share of asset tokenization. For instance, the XRP Ledger became the choice network in a $1 billion tokenization collaboration between Zoniqx and Aurum Equity Partners late last month.

Cardano’s EMURGO also brought tokenized gold to the blockchain through a partnership with Kinka Gold to launch XNK. The Cardano network also attracted German-based tokenization platform Finest to launch tokenized gold on the blockchain.

Shiba Inu Lead Exposes How Scammers Exploit His Engagement with SHIB Community

0

Shiba Inu’s lead Shytoshi Kusama exposes how scammers have been exploiting his interactions with the SHIB community.

The Shiba Inu lead developer revealed this in a lengthy X thread published yesterday.

New Scam Tactic

In the thread, Kusama said he usually follows X accounts belonging to some SHIB enthusiasts to know things happening in the community.

However, scammers have noticed this trend. They reach out to these users and offer them up to 1 ETH to purchase these accounts, which Kusama follows. After the acquisition, the scammers use the account to promote fake tokens, particularly TREAT, which is gearing up for its launch.

Kusama said the scammers create other profiles with cute girls as avatars to confer legitimacy on the fraudulent TREAT tokens. He expressed frustration with this development and encouraged the community to only stick to official channels for reliable information.

New Solution to Address This Scam Tactic

The Shiba Inu lead developer revealed how he plans to combat the new scam tactic. He promised to engage in private and public discussions regarding the TREAT token. This move ensures that all key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the Shiba Inu ecosystem are fully briefed about the upcoming token.

Furthermore, he revealed that the team is close to launching the Karma and Reputation system tied to the DAO governance. Kusama suggested that he hopes the system provides a transparent record of users’ reputations, emphasizing that it would expose bad actors and reward good behavior within the community.

This initiative also aims to make the Shiba Inu ecosystem a trustworthy hub for developers by boosting its credibility.

Unending Warnings

Meanwhile, scammers have been adopting different tactics to exploit unsuspecting members of the Shiba Inu community. They include promoting fake airdrops relating to Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens and creating counterfeit versions of existing and upcoming tokens.

These malefactors promote these illicit activities by impersonating some prominent Shiba Inu ecosystem team members, like Kusama. The recent trend involves purchasing accounts Kusama follows on X to promote fake tokens.

Interestingly, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team has continued to expose these scam tactics to keep users safe. The team has consistently warned that the TREAT token has not been launched into the market. Therefore, any TREAT token claiming affiliations with the Shiba Inu project is fake.

Here is How Much XRP Ripple Holds According to Its Latest Market Report

0

Ripple has released a fresh quarterly report focusing on the XRP market, disclosing details of the company’s total XRP holdings.

Notably, Ripple shares its quarterly XRP markets report to provide a transparent and informed perspective on key updates on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) and XRP-related developments. Among the key highlights in the latest report are specific records concerning how much XRP Ripple holds.

How Much XRP Does Ripple Hold?

Ripple discloses its XRP holdings at the start and end of each quarter. The company’s XRP reserves are divided into two categories:

  • Available XRP: This refers to the XRP that Ripple currently holds in its wallets and has immediate access to.
  • Escrowed XRP: This category includes XRP locked in on-ledger escrow accounts, which are scheduled to be released monthly.

Until the escrow is released, Ripple does not have access to this XRP. Each month, a portion of the escrowed XRP—specifically 1 billion tokens—is released to Ripple. The company typically withdraws 200 million XRP tokens from this release and re-escrows the remaining balance.

As of June 30, 2024, Ripple reported holding a total of 4,682,112,997 (4.68 billion) XRP. Additionally, the company had 39,500,000,005 XRP locked in escrow at that time. By September 30, 2024, Ripple’s holdings had decreased to 4,436,713,796 (4.44 billion) XRP, while the amount subject to on-ledger escrow was slightly lower at 38,900,000,005 (38.9 billion) XRP.

In other words, at the start of the fourth quarter of 2024, Ripple had a total balance of 43.33 billion XRP.

Meanwhile, Ripple released 1 billion XRP in October and locked back 800 million. In November, 1 billion XRP was released, but as of press time, the company had yet to re-lock 800 million tokens from the November escrow execution.

Ripple’s XRP Balance Per API Data

According to Ripple’s API data, with the most recent entry dated October 27, Ripple’s spendable balance stood at approximately 4.42 billion XRP. Meanwhile, the escrowed balance was 38.7 billion.

With the 1 billion tokens released on November 1, this escrow balance would have decreased to 37.7 billion and would eventually increase to 38.5 billion XRP should Ripple return the customary 800 million tokens.

Ripple Sends XRP to ETPs and Trusts

Furthermore, Ripple disclosed that it occasionally transfers XRP to third parties, including trusts, exchange-traded products (ETPs), and other investment entities.

When this occurs, a smaller quantity of XRP may be returned to escrow for that month. However, Ripple noted that as long as it anticipates the transferred XRP will remain within its holdings and not enter the wider market, it is classified as “XRP Held by Ripple.”

Ripple Highlights XRP Price, Volatility, Spot Volumes and Others in Q3 2024 Markets Report

0

Ripple recently released its Q3 2024 XRP Markets Report, discussing the performance of XRP and metrics affecting its price, volatility, and trading volumes.

The report, based on data from top sources like Bloomberg, CCData, and Refinitiv Eikon, reveals a detailed look at the XRP market amid a quarter of major price movements and a rise in Bitcoin dominance.

XRP Trading Volume and Market Activity

According to Ripple, XRP’s average daily volume (ADV) on top exchanges ranged between $600 million and $700 million, confirming a growth in market interest despite prevalent price struggles.

The ADV chart confirms that XRP’s trading volume trails behind Bitcoin and Ethereum. XRP boasts a 7-day ADV of $812 million, with the 30-day 90-day and 365-day figures respectively sitting at $511 million, $675 million and $687 million.

XRP ADV Ripple

Although XRP’s ADV outpaces other tokens such as Binance Coin (BNB), Cardano (ADA) and Polkadot (DOT), it still lags behind major assets like BTC and ETH. This indicates room for XRP’s market presence to expand further.

One of the noteworthy developments in the previous quarter was the 27% increase in XRP price against Bitcoin. This growth occurred even as Bitcoin dominance rose by 3%, clinching a new cycle peak.

XRP Price Volatility Peaks and Stabilizes

XRP experienced notable price volatility in the first half of Q3, with realized volatility surpassing 110% in mid-August. This volatility resulted from a rapid price surge, where XRP’s value oscillated between $0.40 and $0.65.

XRP Realized Volatility

The increased fluctuation attracted traders, pushing trading volumes upward. However, the latter half of Q3 saw a decline in volatility, stabilizing around 60%, as XRP’s price remained more range-bound.

This switch from high volatility to a more controlled price movement suggests that the XRP market reacted swiftly to external conditions, but later entered a consolidation phase.

Exchange Volume Trends and Market Share

Ripple’s report reveals that XRP’s spot exchange volume remained strong compared to previous quarters, with Binance, Bybit, and Upbit capturing a significant share.

The first half of Q3 saw average daily volumes reaching $750 million, which then leveled off before spiking again towards the end of September.

While Binance retained the largest share of XRP trading volume, its market share slightly declined by 3 percentage points. On the other hand, Crypto.com’s share rose by 6 percentage points.

The data further confirms that XRP trading continues to be largely concentrated in USDT pairs, reflecting the stablecoin’s dominance as a trading base in the cryptocurrency market. Interestingly, fiat-paired trading for XRP also saw a rise, increasing from 10% in Q2 to 14% in Q3.
