Ripple Escrow Balance Falls to 38.9B XRP: Here’s What It Means

0

The amount of XRP in Ripple’s escrow reserve has reduced significantly to 38.9 billion from the 55 billion coins initially locked in 2017.

Ripple recently released its Q3 2024 report, giving its clients an overview of its overall performance and state of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) in the third quarter of 2024.

Ripple’s XRP Holdings

In the report, Ripple revealed its XRP holdings, including those held in its escrow reserve. As of September 30, 2024, Ripple’s liquid XRP holdings stood at 4,436,713,796 (4.43 billion).

In addition, the company’s escrow reserve held 38,900,000,005 (38.9 billion) XRP on September 30. Notably, Ripple’s Q3 report has triggered widespread reactions within the XRP community, with a focus on the escrow reserve.

Ripple XRP Escrow

For context, Ripple made a decision in 2017 to lock 55 billion XRP in several XRPL-based escrow accounts. The 55 billion XRP represents 55% of the coin’s 100 billion supply. This move is part of efforts to control the XRP supply and maintain a stable price.

While Ripple programmed the escrow to release 1 billion XRP on the first day of each new month, the company still re-locks 80% of the released funds in escrow. Through this strategy, Ripple’s escrow reserve has drastically dropped to 38.9 billion XRP, representing 38.9% of the coin’s total supply.

Experts Highlight Significance of Ripple Escrow Reduction

Interestingly, famous legal expert Bill Morgan highlighted the importance of the reduction observed in Ripple’s escrow reserve.

According to the lawyer, several arguments have been raised about the company’s escrow. First, Attorney Morgan said the SEC alleged in its lawsuit that Ripple leverages its escrow technique to boost the XRP price, suggesting that a reduction in XRP’s circulating supply might propel the asset for a major price surge.

Conversely, Morgan noted that some XRP enthusiasts wrongly claim that Ripple’s escrow reserve suppresses the coin’s price. Following the depletion of Ripple’s escrow reserve, Morgan asserted that the development highlights the company’s responsible stewardship of a large but steadily shrinking XRP holding.

Meanwhile, an XRP community member, Tees CryptoSpot, advocated for the need to ‘reallocate’ Ripple’s escrow. The user suggested that once Ripple reallocates its escrow reserve, other entities would be interested in holding XRP, potentially reducing its selling pressure.

With more entities holding XRP instead of selling, Tees expects the price of XRP to surge.

In the meantime, XRP currently has a circulating supply of 56,868,662,755 (56.86 billion) coins, representing 56.87% of the total supply. The coin is trading at $0.5062, up 0.1% over the past 24 hours.

Will Dogecoin Give a Second Flag Breakout? Analyst Eyes Rally to $0.162

Dogecoin is preparing for another flag pattern breakout rally to revisit $0.1742 after reversing from $0.1457.

With Bitcoin resurfacing above $69,000 following a brief dip to $67,500 on Sunday, the crypto market is gearing up for a rebound. Amid the increased volatility related to the U.S. presidential elections on November 5, meme tokens like Dogecoin find themselves at a pivotal point.

With the increased speculations, Dogecoin stands on the verge of a bullish continuation with another flag breakout. Will this breakout run push the DOGE prices back to $0.1742?

Dogecoin Price Analysis

Following the bullish flag breakout in the 4-hour chart, Dogecoin’s price skyrocketed from $0.1275 to $0.1797 between October 25 and 29. The bullish rally accounted for a price jump of 40.89% in just four days.

Dogecoin price chart
Dogecoin price chart

However, the bullish flag rally failed to sustain dominance above $0.1750, resulting in a quick bearish reversal. The reversal rally now creates a falling channel pattern, resulting in a second flag pattern in the 4-hour chart. Additionally, Dogecoin recently dropped to $0.1420, accounting for a 20% pullback.

Nevertheless, Dogecoin is back to challenge the resistance trendline with a bullish reversal from the support trendline and the 38.20% trend-based Fibonacci level. The positive cycle within the second flag pattern accounts for a 6.62% rise.

Currently, Dogecoin is trading at $0.15145 with a 24-hour rise of 0.60%. Despite the ongoing pullback, the weekly returns stand at 6.59%, accompanied by a 40% surge in the past 30 days.

Will Dogecoin give a Breakout Rally?

As the positive cycle within the second flag pattern gains momentum, the MACD and signal lines hint at a positive crossover. Furthermore, the declining trend in the bearish histograms increases the chances of a bullish crossover.

Currently, Dogecoin is standing near the 50% Fibonacci level at near the $0.15 psychological mark. The Doji formation near the overhead trendline warns of an evening star pattern for a negative cycle.

However, the quick V-shaped recovery and the potential for a broader market bull run suggest the possibility of a breakout rally. Based on the Fibonacci level, the trendline breakout could result in a rebound to the 100% Fibonacci level at $0.1742.

On the flip side, the crucial supports for Dogecoin are at $0.1454 and $0.1386.

Analyst Targets a Rebound to $0.162

In a recent X post, technical and on-chain crypto analyst Ali Martinez highlighted a potential recovery run in Dogecoin. The analyst highlighted a buy signal generated over the Dogecoin 4-hour chart using the TD Sequential Indicator.

Based on his analysis, if Dogecoin holds above the $0.141 support level, a potential rebound or rally to $0.162 is possible. Martinez posted this analysis when Dogecoin was trading at $0.1457. Since then, Dogecoin has increased by 3.73%, which increases the possibility of the second flag breakout rally.

Tron Founder Claims Binance Charged $0, But Coinbase Demanded $330M for Listing

0

Binance vs. Coinbase: Tron Founder Says Binance Was Free, Coinbase Sought $330M.

Tron Network’s Justin Sun revealed the fees charged by Binance and Coinbase for the project’s token. This comes after the crypto community raised eyebrows over roadblocks to new projects, including expensive criteria for centralized crypto exchanges. Project listings are key to mass adoption from the community, as recorded in the last decade.

Simon Dedic, the CEO of Moonrock Capital expressed disappointment with the listing criteria of Binance. In a recent tweet, the crypto executive pointed out that a mainstream firm which raised nine figures was asked for 15% of their tokens supply.

According to Dedic, high fees for crypto project listings on centralized exchanges lead to bleeding charts for the wider market. Furthermore, not many firms can afford these fees outright, leading to several firms struggling above the red zone. Over the years, many firms have struggled with user adoption despite initial community support.

Coinbase CEO Chips In

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong added that listings on the platform are free calling on Dedic to hit up the exchange. The largest exchange by volume in the United States also integrates decentralized exchanges to its products.

In a turn of events, Justin Sun fact-checked Armstrong stating that Binance did not charge the firm to list its token.

However, Coinbase required the network to pay 500 million TRX worth approximately $80 million and further demanded $250 million deposited in the exchange’s custody to boost the performance. This drew criticism from the community stemming from the high fees projects have to pay to get listings.

Similarly, some users pointed out that this was in 2019, and Coinbase made its listing free in 2022. Andre Cronje, the co-founder of Sonic Labs, also wrote on X that while Binance offered free listings, Coinbase demanded between $60m and $300m for its projects.

A major factor is the size and market influence of Binance and Coinbase, which draws lots of active users to projects.

This year, both exchanges have supported several projects through funding and listings. Last week, Binance Labs invested in the Solana-based fitness platform Moonwalk. Coinbase also announced perpetual futures listings as part of its support for projects and to give users diversified crypto offerings in the market.

Chartered Technician Identifies Potential Bitcoin Gravestone Doji Pointing to Imminent Slump

0

Aksel Kibar, A Chartered Market Technician (CMT), recently identified a potential Gravestone Doji in the Bitcoin weekly chart, signaling a possible bearish reversal.

A disclosure from Kibar confirmed that the shape of this pattern features a long upper shadow and a close near the opening price, suggesting that bulls lost control after trying to push prices higher.

According to the market veteran, while this pattern alone isn’t sufficient to confirm a reversal, a subsequent weak candle on the 1-week timeframe would serve as validation, pointing to a likely bearish trend shift.

Bitcoin Potential Gravestone Doji

Data from his chart confirms that the Gravestone Doji appears at a major resistance level around $73,700, where Bitcoin has been testing new highs. For context, Bitcoin began a bullish recovery last week, soaring to retest the ATH above $73K by Tuesday.

However, it faced a massive correction following this retest, eventually closing the week at $68,738, a price slightly higher than the $67,937 value it began the week with. This led to the potential formation of the Gravestone doji candlestick.

The Gravestone Doji’s presence here implies that bullish momentum may be weakening, with bearish forces likely gaining strength. Bitcoin’s price movements this new week is very important. If it forms a weak candle this week, it could confirm a reversal, marking the start of a pullback.

Notably, market veteran Peter Brandt had in a previous analysis argued that Bitcoin was still in a bearish setup despite the latest rebound. He identified that the firstborn crypto remained in an inverted broadening triangle structure, and would need to close a weekly candle above $76K to confirm a breakout from this pattern.

Bitcoin’s Broader Market Outlook

Meanwhile, Kibar’s chart further shows Bitcoin’s broader outlook. The chart indicates that the first phase of the bull run, which saw BTC claim a new ATH above $73K in March 2024, came after a a strong breakout from a six-month consolidation phase within a rectangle pattern.

After breaking out of this rectangle, Bitcoin maintained an upward channel, establishing higher highs and higher lows, which have guided the market’s recent bullish movement. The Gravestone Doji at $73,700 now casts doubt on Bitcoin’s continued upward momentum.

If Bitcoin fails to maintain this level in the and a bearish candle follows, it could confirm a broader pullback. In this scenario, Bitcoin may revisit major support levels, with the $50,000 mark likely acting as an initial target.

This level previously served as resistance during the initial bull run and may provide a strong support base if the reversal gains momentum. Bitcoin currently changes hands at $68,557, now down 0.26% in the new week. The upcoming US presidential election could be instrumental in determining the next direction.

Here’s What’s Stopping XRP Move From $0.50 to $1

0

Market commentators highlight various factors hindering XRP from reaching $1, including negative sentiments and the Ripple v. SEC lawsuit.

Over the weekend, XRP dipped below the $0.50 level, reaching $0.4930. This breach of a key psychological threshold follows a broader correction in the crypto market after last week’s gains. The previous week’s bull run gained momentum when Bitcoin surpassed $73,000 for the first time in seven months.

However, XRP lagged behind the bullish frenzy, peaking at only $0.5300 last week. Yet, as the market entered a correction phase, XRP followed suit. With XRP persistently trading below the $1 mark despite occasional market-wide swings, many have continued to wonder why this level has proven difficult to surpass.

In a recent post on X, Uphold, an American exchange known for its pro-XRP stance, sparked a conversation by asking community members what they believe is the “biggest” hurdle keeping XRP from doubling in price to $1.

The discussion gained traction, with XRP enthusiasts offering various perspectives on what is hindering XRP’s performance.

What Community Members Think is Holding Back XRP

According to Hugh Morris, “The switch has yet to be flipped.” This speculation suggests there could be an inside manipulation keeping the price down. Others echoed this sentiment, claiming that XRP’s price is being suppressed.

X user Timothy Michael argued that XRP is underperforming due to low transaction volumes on the XRP Ledger. However, Ripple’s latest report highlighted that, on a quarter-to-quarter basis, transactions on the XRPL increased by 99%.

Meanwhile, one commenter, “WallStreetBulls,” speculated that XRP’s price could ascend if it were listed against the upcoming RLUSD stablecoin. He believes that once XRP/BTC, XRP/USDT, and XRP/USDC trading pairs are removed and XRP/RLUSD is introduced, the price could rise as high as $20 or even $30.

However, it remains unclear how the introduction of this trading pair alone could trigger a bull run for XRP.

Some commenters suggested that XRP faces negative sentiment due to massive donations in XRP tokens made by Ripple’s chairman, Chris Larsen, to fund Kamala Harris’s campaign.

Ripple Says SEC Lawsuit Impact XRP

Additionally, the ongoing SEC lawsuit was cited as a factor hindering XRP’s price. Interestingly, Ripple itself has acknowledged that the lawsuit impacts XRP’s value.

In its latest quarterly markets report, Ripple specifically stated that the ongoing challenges from the SEC indicate that the lawsuit against the company is a significant factor influencing XRP’s price.

XRP to $1

XRP is currently trading at $0.5068. It last reached $1 in 2021, and to reclaim this threshold, its price must soar by 97.31%. However, this percentage gain poses hurdles for XRP in the current market.

Former Linqto Exec Sues Firm Selling Ripple Shares for Fraud, Market Manipulation

0

Gene Zawroty, former Linqto Chief Revenue Officer, is suing the Delaware investment company and two of its executives for multiple claims, including fraud and market manipulation.

Zawroty filed the lawsuit in California’s Santa Clara County on October 7, 2024. Although the lawsuit was filed a few weeks ago, the development only recently reached public knowledge.

Notably, prominent XRP community figure Eri called the public’s attention to the case yesterday via an X post.

Zawrotny’s Claims Against Linqto

For context, the lawsuit was filed by Zawrotny, a former executive of Linqto who claims the company wrongly sacked him for raising concerns about its violation of compliance requirements.

The plaintiff claimed that Linqto engaged in insider trading, which saw the company prioritize its gain over customer needs. Zawrotny also alleged that Linqto uses unlicensed brokers, with misleading user base claims.

Specifically, the plaintiff suggested that Linqto lied about its claim of having over 750,000 users. According to the complaint, the company allegedly has only 10,000 users, of whom only 30% are accredited.

Additionally, the complaint alleged that the investment firm marked up shares’ prices, exceeding FINRA’s recommendation of 150%. Notably, Linqto allegedly uses a unique algorithm to increase share prices with each sale.

According to the complaint, this technique created an artificial market by giving investors the notion that shares were about to sell out, thereby driving demand.

Additional Claims

Other complaints leveled against Linqto include the company’s circumvention of SEC’s rule, misleading marketing tactics, and inadequate compliance with FINRA requirements.

Zawrotny claimed that Linqto and its executives were fully aware of these concerns but ignored them. Furthermore, Zawrotny accused Linqto of making misleading promises to him, such as a competitive salary and good stock options.

However, Linqto allegedly sacked him 107 days after his recruitment. He said the investment company terminated his employment to prevent his stock from vesting and avoid addressing the compliance concerns raised.

The plaintiff characterized the termination as unjust and detrimental to his career and financial well-being. Therefore, Zawrotny seeks injunctive relief, attorney’s fees, as well as punitive, general, and special damages.

Launched in 2018, Linqto facilitates investments in private markets, with a minimum investment of $2,500. Linqto gives investors the chance to invest in the stocks of various companies. Last year, it added Ripple’s pre-IPO stock to its platform.

Furthermore, Linqto revealed plans to utilize XRP as a payment method for its tokenized private equity proof-of-concept. The company made this known a few days after U.S. Federal Judge Analisa Torres declared that XRP is not security.

Last year, Ripple CTO David Schwartz confirmed that Linqto is a legitimate investment platform. He further highlighted Linqto’s strategy, revealing how it facilitates investments in companies like PolySign. For context, Schwartz is one of PolySign’s board members.

Expert Says We Are Locked and Loaded for an XRP Surge

0

Market expert and community enthusiast Amonyx has insisted that XRP is on the brink of an explosive run as the chart looks “locked and loaded.”

The crypto market has had a slow start to November after a grand recovery from a similar start the previous month. For context, Bitcoin and XRP have corrected 3.5% from the November 1 high of $71,448 and $0.5231, respectively.

Notably, XRP is down in almost all timeframes at the time of writing. Specifically, the 7th crypto asset by market cap has respectively corrected 1.42%, 5.08%, and 17.51% on the weekly, monthly, and yearly timeframes.

However, community enthusiast Amonyx recently identified a bullish pattern on the XRP chart, set to change XRP’s prevailing bearish momentum. The analyst noted that “we are locked and loaded” for a bullish uptick.

Locked and Loaded for an XRP Upitck

In a November 2 tweet, Amonyx drew the XRP community’s attention to an impending outbreak expected to herald an astronomical price growth. Per the tweet, the expert argued that the breakout is locked with a near-term outburst loaded.

In an accompanying 1-month timeframe chart, the analyst based his explosive price assertions on an imminent breakout from a symmetrical triangle. Amonyx speculated that the price outburst would push XRP multiple times past its current all-time to triple figures.

XRP Analysis
XRP Analysis

The analyst’s chat shows an ambitious price target of $225.9 per coin at the upper boundary of a broader ascending channel. This would mark a staggering 44,694% uptick from XRP’s current price. Notably, the enthusiast said the asset would mirror its performance after a similar breakout during the 2017/2018 bull cycle.

Recall that XRP pulled out a 60,000% surge from 2017 to 2018, surging to its current ATH of $3.31. The high-caliber digital asset reached a new high following a breakout from a symmetrical triangle, and Amonyx expects a similar outcome after the imminent outburst.

Still Below XRP’s Fair Market Value

Although lofty, Amonyx’s $225.9 XRP price call is still far below the asset’s fair market value. For context, equity firm Valhil Capital reported that the 7th largest cryptocurrency by market cap is well under its fair money price, measured using ecological systems and dynamic adoption.

The firm noted that XRP should have a fair money value of $3,541 with the parameters. Notably, the asset would have to expand by 7,013x from its current price to attain the ambitious fair market value.

Meanwhile, Altcoin Moe has set a “realistic” price target for XRP this bull cycle. The market expert noted that he expects XRP to hit a $500 billion market cap, pushing its price to $5.

In the meantime, XRP trades at $0.5055, recording a meager gain in the past 24 hours.

Analyst Says Buy XRP Before $14, Citing Global Liquidity Rise and Bollinger Bands Squeeze

0

Crypto analyst Steph, recognized as “StephIsCrypto,” has discussed why XRP may be on the cusp of a major price surge, citing a rise in global liquidity.

In his recent analysis, he pointed out XRP’s historical relationship with global liquidity and structural patterns such as a Bollinger Bands squeeze and descending channel. According to Steph, these factors are setting up the perfect conditions for an XRP price breakout.

XRP Historic Ties to Global Liquidity

Steph highlighted how increases in liquidity have led to XRP’s price rallies. He noted that global liquidity—the availability of cash flow across markets—played a major role in XRP’s explosive growth during past cycles.

This pattern occurred in 2017 to 2018, a time when XRP reached an all-time high of $3.30 on the back of a surge in global liquidity. The trend also played out from 2020 to 2021, with XRP reaching a high of $1.96 by April 2021.

XRP Price and Global Liquidity StephIsCrypto

Currently, Steph suggests that a similar setup is forming. With global liquidity on an upward trajectory due to potential policy shifts from central banks, he anticipates another favorable environment for risk-on assets like XRP.

He noted that actions by institutions such as the Federal Reserve, which may inject more money into the economy, could weaken fiat currencies and create an influx of capital. For this reason, Steph sees XRP as an ideal investment in light of the upcoming liquidity surge.

Weighted Global Liquidity Index

Further, Steph spotlighted the Weighted Global Liquidity Index (WGLI), which monitors global money supply by tracking central bank balance sheets and major U.S. accounts.

According to him, this index is an indicator of potential price movements for risk-on assets like XRP. As WGLI trends upward, assets like XRP often experience value increases. Steph noted that since 2016, every major XRP rally has occurred after a rise in this index.

XRP Price and WGLI StephIsCrypto

At present, Steph pointed out a divergence between WGLI and XRP’s price action. Although liquidity is rising, XRP has remained relatively stable, moving sideways in recent months. However, he sees this divergence as a bullish signal.

XRP Descending Channel and Bollinger Bands Squeeze

Besides macroeconomic factors, Steph also highlighted prominent indicators. He highlighted a descending channel that XRP has been trading within since 2021. This channel features declining trading volumes and multiple resistance tests.

Steph believes each test of the resistance weakens it, bringing XRP closer to a breakout point. He argues that as long as XRP holds above the crucial $0.50 level on weekly closes, the overall uptrend remains intact. At the reporting time, XRP trades for $0.5039, up 0.19% this morning.

XRP Descending Channel StephIsCrypto

The market analyst also called attention to the compression in XRP’s Bollinger Bands. Interestingly, The Crypto Basic recently identified this squeeze in an analysis last week, noting that the compression has held for over a year.

When Bollinger Bands tighten, it signals an impending price movement. For instance, in 2017, XRP’s Bollinger Bands also compressed just before a major rally. Steph sees the current squeeze as a sign that XRP is nearing another substantial breakout.

He expects a rally to $14, which would mark a 2,678% increase from the current price. Market analyst JD also identified the $14 level as a minimal target for XRP in a March 2024 analysis. At $14, XRP’s FDV would stand at $1.4 billion.

Pipeline Flow Valuation Suggests XRP Fair Value Could Be as High as $3,541

0

The Pipeline Flow Model, a market valuation model, estimates the fair market value of XRP could stand at a four-digit figure.

Several industry leaders and XRP enthusiasts have argued that XRP trades at a price far below its intrinsic value. These comments often suggest the altcoin is facing a price suppression campaign that has kept it largely undervalued over the years.

XRP Price Suppression Claims

Recall that XRP was one of the top performers of the 2017/2018 bull run, spiking 60,000% within a year to hit $3.31. However, since the collapse from this peak, the banker’s coin, as some call it, has continued to underperform.

Some believed this price suppression came from Ripple’s periodic XRP sales. However, the firm and some of its executives have swiftly debunked these claims. Others insist that the suppression has come from the SEC’s four-year legal battle with Ripple.

Amid these speculations, most market watchers project an imminent breakout for XRP to new heights. Meanwhile, equity firm Valhil Capital previously presented a report with multiple valuation models. This report was an attempt to assess XRP’s fair market value, which they believe is far higher than its current market value.

The Pipeline Flow Model

The Pipeline Flow methodology is one such model. Developed by Dr. Deon Bakkes, an evolutionary biologist, the model approaches XRP’s valuation uniquely by leveraging concepts from ecological systems and dynamic adaptation.

The model views XRP’s role in the financial ecosystem as a dynamic system where value could represent water flowing through pipes. In this analogy, the “pipes” represent XRP’s payment rails, and the diameter of each pipe represents the price of XRP.

XRP Pipeline Flow Valuation Model
XRP Pipeline Flow Valuation Model

The circulating supply acts as the total number of pipes, determining the capacity for transactions. As transaction volumes rise, the model suggests that XRP’s price will expand, reflecting increased demand and tighter supply conditions.

The model assumes that a “big bang” event could drive a sharp increase in the adoption of XRP for foreign exchange (FX) transactions. It foresees an initial price spike during this adoption phase, followed by potential sell-offs. The initial adoption push could influence price stability, with price volatility as a natural outcome.

XRP Fair Market Value

The Pipeline Flow Model also factors in supply and demand interactions, considering the influences of store of value and transaction volume.

With an integration of these forces, the model simulates different hypothetical market scenarios and discusses how XRP might respond under these conditions. It suggests that XRP’s fair value could stabilize at $3,541, assuming global transaction volumes reach a peak level.

XRP Fair Value Pipeline Flow Model
XRP Fair Value Pipeline Flow Model

For context, XRP currently trades for $0.5126, down 6.35% over the past 24 hours. At its current market price, XRP is 690,692% away from the fair value of $3,541. Notably, this figure is not a price projection but a hypothetical value for XRP without the alleged price suppression.

Cardano to $3? Analyst Says Price Surge is Overdue

0

Pseudonymous crypto analyst Madmaudo has insisted that a Cardano surge to levels around its all-time high is overdue, asserting an imminent uptick.

Cardano’s price has been in a range in the past month despite bullish rallies from other notable crypto assets. Market data shows the 11th cryptocurrency market cap has ranged between $0.3346 and $0.369 since the start of October.

Amid these price movements, ADA’s chart shows it has been on a descending triangle since its yearly high of $0.7741 in March. The chart indicates the formation of lower highs and lower lows, with the price action getting tighter towards the end of the triangle.

According to pseudonymous analyst Madmaudo, a breakout and surge near Cardano’s all-time high seen in September 2021 is long overdue. The market speculator asserted that he sees the long pent-up price action soon.

Madmaudo Calls Cardano to $3 Overdue

In a TradingView analysis on November 2, Madmaudo stated that a surge to $3 is long overdue for Cardano. He then asserted that ADA would surge 88% to close down on its all-time high of around $3.1. His chart indicates he expects ADA to break out of a multi-year descending triangle to the $3 target.

Furthermore, using the Fibonacci retracement indicator, the market speculator added crucial levels to watch on ADA’s path to $3. First, the indicator shows a surge to $1.2253 at the 38.3% Fibonacci level, then an uptick to $1.5808 at the 50% Fibonacci level.

The analyst expects the next stop to be $1.9362 at the 61.8% Fibonacci level before hitting $3.0869 at the 100% Fibonacci level. Notably, Madmaudo’s target is inches away from ADA’s current ATH.

Analyst Commends Recent Partnership with Bitcoin

Madmaudo cited the recent partnership between the Cardano and Bitcoin ecosystems as a FOMO catalyst for the ADA price. The analyst argued it was a “great partnership with Bitcoin.”

For context, one of Cardano’s major developers, EMURGO, partnered with BitcoinOS to unleash smart contract features on the Bitcoin network. Cardano will operate as a layer on the Bitcoin blockchain, introducing decentralized finance while accessing over $1.3 trillion worth of liquidity.

Market speculators have teased the partnership to boost the Cardano ecosystem, and Madmaudo shares the same sentiment. He expects the bullish scenario to bolster a surge to $3.

At the time of writing, ADA trades at $0.3578, up 3.18% in the past 24 hours.
