Here is XRP Price If It Becomes the Go-To Coin for Sending Money to Families

0

XRP could soar to a double-digit price if it is leveraged as the preferred asset for global remittances.

From the outset, the development team of the XRP Ledger (XRP) designed XRP to facilitate instant and low-cost cross-border settlements. Unlike traditional payment rails, which can take days, XRP settles transactions within a few seconds. Moreover, users get to pay a negligible fee of a fraction of a cent to send funds across borders using XRP.

Due to XRP’s prowess, financial institutions have adopted the coin for cross-border settlements. Last month, major crypto exchange Bitrue highlighted ten banks and institutions that have used XRP for this purpose. The list featured financial institutions like Santander Bank, SBI Holdings, PNC Bank, Bank of America, and Standard Chartered.

Based on the Bitrue article, it is evident that XRP’s utility in remittance is indisputable. Therefore, we estimated how much a unit of XRP will be valued at if it becomes the preferred asset for sending money to families globally.

Global Remittances

To calculate the projected price of XRP, we considered the global remittance flows in relation to the circulating supply of XRP. Data from MoneyTransfers shows that global remittance flows stood at $860 billion as of 2023.

Of this amount, $669 billion was sent to low and middle-income countries. Notably, India saw the highest remittance totaling $125 billion in 2023. People who sent money from the U.S. to other countries claimed they did so to support their families back home.

XRP Price If It Is Used for Global Remittances

If people use XRP to send these funds to their families, it would significantly impact the coin’s price.

We estimated XRP’s price under three adoption scenarios of 10%, 50%, and 100% in relation to the $860 billion in global remittances recorded in 2023. Notably, adoption levels of 10%, 50%, or 100% translate to volumes of $86 billion, $430 billion, or $860 billion.

Adding these volumes to XRP’s current market cap would push the coin’s price to unprecedented levels. At an adoption level of 10%, which equates to $86 billion, XRP’s market cap would grow to $251.18 billion.

Similarly, if XRP captured 50% of global remittances (an extra $430 billion to the coin’s market cap), its valuation would hit $595.18 billion. Moreover, at 100% adoption (an $860 billion boost), the market cap would reach about $1.02 trillion.

Assuming XRP’s supply remains stable at 59 billion coins, market caps of $251.18 billion, $595.18 billion, and $1.02 trillion translate to prices of about $4.25, $10.08, and $17.28 per XRP, respectively.

Therefore, if XRP becomes the go-to asset for sending money to families, its price could grow to $4.25, $10.08, or $17.28 based on the coin’s adoption level.

XRP to $4, $10, and $17 Predictions

Notably, some experts have predicted XRP’s potential rise to these targets. For instance, Edoardo Farina suggested that XRP could hit a new all-time high of $4 this month, urging investors not to act surprised if the prediction plays out.

Last month, popular crypto chartist EGRAG predicted that the $10 forecast would materialize soon for XRP. Additionally, EGRAG referenced several technical indicators to forecast XRP’s potential surge to $17.5, which would mark a new all-time high for the coin.

Here’s How $200 Monthly Investment in Shiba Inu Could Make You if SHIB Gains Ethereum-Like Adoption

0

Investors who capitalize on Shiba Inu’s low price to build their portfolios could become rich if SHIB’s adoption grows like that of Ethereum.

Shiba Inu is often cited as a prime example when discussing how average crypto investors became rich overnight. The asset changed the lives of many average-income earners, including a truck driver who made a profit of $1.7 million from a small investment of $650.

Although Shiba Inu has plunged massively from its 2021 highs, enthusiasts still believe it is capable of growing into a large-cap crypto like Ethereum.

SHIB Price If It Gains Ethereum-Like Adoption

Therefore, we explored how a modest monthly investment of $200 in SHIB over 15 years could generate substantial wealth if Shiba Inu achieves Ethereum-like adoption.

Achieving Ethereum-like adoption assumes that Shiba Inu’s market cap reaches that of ETH. At the moment, Ethereum boasts a valuation of $540 billion, with one ETH priced at $4,473.

If Shiba Inu clinches a market cap of $540 billion, it will trade at $0.000916 based on the supply of 589 trillion tokens. This suggests that achieving Ethereum-like adoption under current market conditions could drive SHIB’s price to $0.000916.

Value of $200 Monthly Investment at $0.000916

Meanwhile, investing $200 monthly over 15 years or 180 months adds up to a total investment of $36,000 in SHIB. While investing $36,000 in SHIB at once may be challenging for most investors, consistently committing $200 per month over 15 years makes the target more achievable.

For this article, we assumed that this $36,000 was invested in SHIB at four different average buy prices– $0.000007, $0.00001, $0.000015, and $0.000020. With a total investment of $36,000, investors could accumulate 5.14 billion SHIB tokens at an average price of $0.000007, 3.6 billion tokens at $0.00001, 2.4 billion tokens at $0.000015, or 1.8 billion tokens at $0.00002.

If Shiba Inu achieves Ethereum-level adoption and climbs to $0.000916, a 5.14 billion SHIB portfolio would be worth roughly $4.71 million, while a 3.6 billion SHIB holding would amount to about $3.3 million. At $0.000916, blockchain portfolios containing 2.4 billion and 1.8 billion SHIB tokens would be valued at $2.2 million and $1.65 million, respectively.

This reflects how investors can become rich by leveraging the DCA strategy and awaiting a potential spike to high-cap levels like that of Ethereum.

The $0.000916 Forecast

Although it remains uncertain whether Shiba Inu would ever gain Ethereum-like adoption, the $0.0009 prediction has already been tied to the canine-themed token.

Last year, we estimated that Shiba Inu would climb to $0.00094 if it stays correlated with Ethereum and the second-biggest cryptocurrency hits Ark Invest’s $166,000 target by 2032.

In July, The Crypto Basic also predicted that Shiba Inu could trade at around $0.000978 by July 2042 if its price grows by 30% yearly. In the meantime, Shiba Inu still lacks those factors that propelled Ethereum to the $540 billion valuation.

For instance, while Ethereum has multiple exchange-traded funds currently trading on American exchanges, no issuer has filed to offer a similar product for SHIB.

Expert Predicts XRP Price by Q4 2025 if Chainlink Reaches $250 to $400

0

Pseudonymous crypto analyst and X DAO founder Rekt Fencer has issued ambitious price outlooks for XRP and Chainlink for the final quarter of 2025.

These forecasts come amid growing rivalry between XRP and LINK, with widespread discussion about Chainlink potentially overtaking XRP’s position in the market. Notably, Fencer’s forecast also includes his expectations for other leading crypto assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB.

Chainlink’s Path to $400

In his outlook, Fencer predicts that Chainlink could surge to a range between $250 and $400 by the end of 2025. At its current price near $25, this would represent a 10x to 16x rally. Such a move would push LINK’s market cap into the hundreds of billions, compared to just $17 billion today.

Specifically, LINK would reach a valuation of approximately $271 billion—about $100 billion above XRP’s current valuation—which adds fuel to the ongoing fuss that Chainlink could one day surpass XRP in market cap.

Community discussions around the “flippening” narrative have already intensified as LINK recently surpassed XRP in Google Trends search interest. In DeFi, Chainlink secures over $93 billion in total value, compared to XRP’s $85 million TVL. Meanwhile, XRP price is not expected to stay idle while LINK soars.

XRP to Approach Double Digits

Alongside Chainlink, Fencer projects XRP’s price to reach between $8.50 and $9 by Q4 2025. This forecast suggests a more modest 3x surge for XRP from its current level of $2.89, compared to the aggressive 16x outlook Fencer gave for LINK.

At a $9 price, XRP’s valuation would surpass $534 billion, still nearly twice that of Chainlink’s projected $271 billion. For context, XRP currently has a market cap of around $170 billion, making it roughly ten times larger than Chainlink.

While Fencer’s prediction is more conservative than the ultra-bullish estimates of $22 to $99 per token, it still positions XRP as one of the strongest-performing large-cap assets heading into 2026.

The likely approval of XRP ETFs in Q4 and Ripple’s expanding partnerships with financial institutions are key catalysts supporting this outlook.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, and Solana Outlook

Fencer’s projections extend to other major assets as well. He believes Bitcoin could reach up to $230,000 by December, nearly doubling from its recent peak of $124,400. This outlook aligns with many popular year-end projections for BTC.

As for Ethereum, he predicts a price range of $9,000 to $12,000, echoing other bullish forecasts such as Fundstrat’s $15,000 target.

With Ethereum currently at $4,270, reaching these targets would represent up to a 3x return. Notably, these forecasts place Ethereum on a path toward a multi-trillion-dollar valuation alongside Bitcoin.

Furthermore, Fencer expects BNB to rise to between $2,800 and $3,300, a 4x jump from its current price of $850. He also projects Solana could reach up to $900, in line with popular forecasts of $1,000 for the coin, which is currently trading at $184.

Here’s How Much XRP You Would Need to Surpass Elon Musk’s Wealth if XRP Ever Hits $2,000

0

How much XRP would you need to hold to surpass Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s wealth if XRP ever claimed a lofty four-digit price?

While XRP currently trades for $3.1 with an impressive 447% increase over the past year, multiple market commentators insist it is largely undervalued. For instance, in May, Digital Ascension Group Managing Director Jake Claver suggested that XRP was still “heavily” undervalued.

Predictions of an XRP Surge to $100, $1,000, and Even $2,000

These market commentators often point to XRP’s potential in the payments sector as one reason why the crypto asset could observe dramatic price surges in the foreseeable future. Interestingly, while targets such as $100 have triggered skepticism, others are already eyeing more audacious goals like $1,000.

Notably, self-acclaimed researcher Anderson recently argued that if Bitcoin (BTC) can hit $1 million, then an XRP price of $1,000 is also possible. Also, months back, Matthew Brienen, the CEO of CryptoGuard, predicted that XRP has the potential to reach $1,000 over the next decade.

Now, while the market is still coming to terms with an XRP to $1,000 projection, Jake Claver has predicted loftier targets. Speaking in an episode of The Good Morning Crypto show last month, Claver projected that XRP could climb to $2,000 by 2026. This was an ambitious forecast, considering XRP would need to soar 64,416% to hit this milestone.

How Much to Surpass Elon Musk?

Despite how largely unfeasible most investors see this target, we recently assessed how much impact it would have on their holdings. Notably, we evaluated how much an investor would need to hold to match the wealth of Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, the world’s richest man.

Elon Musk Net Worth Forbes
Elon Musk Net Worth | Forbes

Notably, data from Forbes confirms that Musk currently boasts a net worth of $413.8 billion at press time. If XRP ever claims the $2,000 price per token, a market participant would need to hold around 206.9 million XRP tokens to reach $413.8 billion. Today, these 206.9 million tokens could be procured for $641.39 million.

Interestingly, ten months ago, in November 2024, before XRP’s most recent explosive surge, an investor could have amassed these 206.9 million XRP tokens at a price of $103.45 million.

Nonetheless, an XRP price of $2,000 would push the token’s market cap to $118.8 trillion, higher than the total global M2 money supply at around $95 trillion. This makes the $2,000 price highly improbable.

“Good Sign” as Top Asset Managers Update XRP ETF Applications After Court Ends Ripple Case

0

In a remarkable development, several asset managers submitted amended filings with the U.S. SEC, updating their spot XRP ETF applications on the same day.

On August 22, CoinShares, Grayscale, Canary, Franklin, WisdomTree, Bitwise, and 21Shares updated their S-1 applications with the SEC for spot-based XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

The updated filings allow more flexible structures in the proposed XRP funds. According to the filings, the asset managers want the funds to permit XRP or cash creations as well as cash or in-kind redemptions.

This update possibly aligns with the SEC’s preference and could improve the approval chances of the XRP ETFs.

Experts Say It’s a Good Sign

Prominent Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart noted that the simultaneous updates from multiple prospective XRP ETF issuers strongly indicate they are responding to SEC feedback. Notably, he referred to the move as a good sign, emphasizing that the update is “mostly expected.”

Interestingly, Nate Geraci, the President of NovaDius Wealth Management, also viewed the cluster of amendments as a “very good sign.” Such updates typically indicate that the spot XRP ETF applications are progressing in the SEC’s review process.

Notably, the issuers updated their applications on the same day the Second Circuit approved the SEC and Ripple’s request to withdraw their appeals.

Court Clears Legal Fog Around XRP

Renowned community figure “All Things XRP” claimed the Second Circuit’s decision cleared the legal fog around XRP, putting the token in the same regulatory class as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The user suggested that the coordinated timing of the update and the legal decision shows the issuers were waiting for that exact legal clarity to proceed with their spot XRP ETF applications. With the SEC case resolved, he speculated that the XRP ETF approval odds had spiked to 95%. This implies that the community figure believes the SEC will likely approve the launch of the products.

The developments had an immediate impact on XRP, with its price soaring to $3.08 within hours. Notably, XRP’s volume also skyrocketed, with whales accumulating huge amounts of the token, according to All Things XRP.

XRP Mirrors Bitcoin ETF Journey

Furthermore, he indicated that the sequence mirrors Bitcoin’s ETF journey. First, Bitcoin gained regulatory clarity, followed by the SEC easing its stance on the asset, which triggered a wave of BTC ETF applications and ultimately a major price rally.

The expert claims XRP is currently in the exact position Bitcoin was before its ETF approval. He expects a favorable decision by October 2025. It bears mentioning that the SEC has a final deadline of October to decide the fate of several XRP ETFs, including the proposed funds from Grayscale, Bitwise, and 21Shares.

Although major players like BlackRock have yet to file for a spot XRP ETF, analysts estimate that institutional inflows into existing XRP ETFs from Grayscale, Franklin, and Bitwise could exceed $5 billion.

Here’s How High XRP Will Go in 3 Years, According to Standard Chartered

0

Standard Chartered has insight into how the third biggest crypto, XRP, could perform over the next three years.

The multinational bank projects a steady climb over the next three years, with XRP potentially crossing into double digits for the first time in its history. Notably, XRP is trading at $3.05 today, up 7% over the past 24 hours.

XRP Price Targets Through 2028

Standard Chartered’s crypto researcher, Geoffrey Kendrick, outlined a roadmap that places XRP at $5.50 by the end of 2025, $8 in 2026, and $10.40 by 2027. By the end of 2028, Kendrick believes XRP could stabilize around $12.50, implying gains of more than 300% from current levels.

According to Kendrick, XRP could even challenge Ethereum’s dominance in the crypto hierarchy within this timeline. Specifically, he noted that XRP could become the second-largest crypto asset by market value within four years.

Currently, XRP’s market cap stands at $182 billion. Meanwhile, Ethereum, trading at $4,744, has a market cap of $573 billion—more than three times that of XRP.

If XRP were to reach $12.50 within three years, as Standard Chartered projects, its market cap would rise to approximately $743 billion, surpassing Ethereum’s current valuation.

However, Ethereum is not expected to remain idle while XRP surges 300% over the next three years. If ETH trades above $6,500 by 2028, its market cap would still stay ahead of XRP’s.

Interestingly, more recent forecasts from Standard Chartered suggest Ethereum could reach $7,500 by the end of this year. Similarly, some popular community forecasts for XRP suggest it could even surpass $20 this year.

Catalysts Driving Growth

The bold forecast for XRP hinges on several key factors. First is the possible approval of a spot XRP ETF in the U.S. by October. Standard Chartered estimates XRP ETFs could attract $4–8 billion in inflows within their first year.

The bank also highlighted the conclusion of Ripple’s long-running legal dispute with the SEC, settled for $125 million without further appeals. This development has significantly reduced regulatory pressure around the token.

Beyond regulation, XRP’s payments-focused blockchain remains central to its value proposition. The XRP Ledger (XRPL) moves money across borders quickly and cheaply, serving as a natural alternative to SWIFT’s slower, fee-heavy infrastructure. Ripple’s expansion into stablecoins (RLUSD) and tokenization could further bolster XRP’s utility in global finance, according to the bank.

Competition and Challenges

Despite the bullish projections, Kendrick acknowledged several potential hurdles. XRP’s low-fee model and relatively small developer ecosystem may limit its ability to capture value compared to other blockchains.

Moreover, alternatives such as stablecoins, competing crypto projects, and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs)could present strong competition in the cross-border payments space.

Nevertheless, Standard Chartered maintains that institutional adoption, combined with ETF inflows and Ripple’s global payment integrations, could outweigh these challenges.

The Bitcoin Factor

Kendrick’s broader outlook also includes a Bitcoin price of $500,000 by 2029, reflecting his belief in the continued expansion of the digital asset market. In such an environment, XRP’s climb toward $12.50 and beyond could be powered by Bitcoin’s momentum, which often draws greater attention to alternative crypto assets.

Expert Predicts XRP Price in the Next 4 Months if Ethereum Claims $9.5K

0

Crypto Rover, a prominent market expert, has shared what he believes XRP price could rise to over the next four months if Ethereum rallies 100%.

The crypto market has witnessed a recovery spell following hints of interest rates cut from Fed Chair Jerome Powell. Amid the bullish campaign, the global crypto market cap briefly reclaimed the $4 trillion mark before settling at $3.96 trillion at press time.

The Projected Bull Market Peak

Interestingly, Crypto Rover’s commentary emerged before this recovery took full shape. The market expert presented what he believes could be the price targets of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, and seven other altcoins over the next two to four months, from October to December 2025. Specifically, the analyst believes ETH could hit $9,500, while XRP could top out at $4.8.

Notably, his timeline is especially significant, considering that many industry analysts believe it could mark the peak of the bull market if the four-year cycle persists. For context, during the previous bull run in 2020/2021, the crypto market corrected in May and June 2021 before recovering from July to reach a peak in November 2021.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP Price Predictions for the Next 4 Months

As a result, some expect this bull run to peak around October to December 2025, and Crypto Rover has presented his targets for a few major assets. Specifically, he predicts Bitcoin to soar to a price range of $135,000 to $190,000. With Bitcoin currently trading for $115,887, it would need to rise 16.5% to 68.3% to hit this target range.

Crypto Rover on X
Crypto Rover on X

Notably, the lower target aligns with a prediction from market veteran Peter Brandt, who projected last October that Bitcoin could hit a top of $135,000 in August or September 2025.

Meanwhile, Crypto Rover expects Ethereum, the altcoin king, to claim a price between $7,000 and $9,500 in the next two to four months. This would represent a rally of 47% to 100% from Ethereum’s current price of $4,755. Interestingly, market watcher Ali Martinez also suggested earlier this year that Ethereum could reach a top of $7,000 this bull run.

Having predicted Bitcoin to reach $135,000 to $195,000 and Ethereum to claim $7,000 to $9,500, Crypto Rover projected an XRP price run to a range of $3.2 to $4.8. Now, while the higher end represents a new all-time high, the lower target is largely bearish, as XRP has already surpassed this mark, having soared to $3.66 last month.

With XRP changing hands at $3.06, a run to these targets would mark a meager 4.6% to 57% rally, suggesting that the market analyst expects XRP to observe one of the least bullish uptrends from the current position. While multiple analysts, such as EGRAG Crypto, have predicted an XRP surge to $4.8, they do not expect this price to mark the top.

Other Altcoin Predictions

Meanwhile, Crypto Rover expects BNB to reach a target range of $950 to $1,350, representing a 6.9% to 52% increase. Further, he sees Solana (SOL) soaring to a price between $400 and $700, a 94% to 239% surge. Interestingly, the analyst is most bullish on Chainlink (LINK), predicting an ambitious 977% to 1,630% spike to a range of $280 to $450.

Court Officially Ends Ripple Vs SEC Case By Dismissing Parties’ Appeals

0

The U.S. Second Circuit has officially dismissed the SEC’s appeal and Ripple’s cross-appeal, formally ending the multi-year lawsuit.

According to a one-page document shared by prominent defense lawyer James K. Filan, the appellate court approved the SEC and Ripple’s joint stipulation to withdraw their respective appeals.

In the document, the Second Circuit confirmed that the parties are seeking the withdrawal of their appeals. Therefore, the court, through Clerk Catherine O’Hagan Wolfe, stated that the stipulation to dismiss the appeal is “So Ordered.”

The two-word decision implies that the court has granted the parties’ request to withdraw their appeals, effectively bringing the nearly five-year legal battle to a close.

Second Circuit Dismiss SEC Vs Ripple Appeals
Second Circuit Dismiss SEC Vs Ripple Appeals

Ripple and SEC Appeals

For context, the SEC appealed parts of the Ripple case in October 2024, opposing Judge Analisa Torres’ ruling on programmatic sales and other distributions of XRP.

Despite the Judge declaring these transactions to be non-investment contracts, the SEC still maintained that they violated federal securities laws and sought to overturn the rulings in the Second Circuit.

In response, Ripple also challenged the part of the ruling it lost–institutional sales of XRP. This ruling prompted Judge Torres to impose a $125 million fine against Ripple. The Judge also slammed a permanent injunction against the company, prohibiting it from selling XRP to institutional clients without registering with the SEC.

With the inception of a pro-crypto administration in January, the SEC and Ripple agreed to withdraw their appeals. Part of the agreement involves dismissing the permanent injunction and slashing the $125 million fine to $50 million.

However, Judge Torres denied that request. Consequently, the legal parties filed a joint stipulation of dismissal, asking the Second Circuit to dismiss their appeals. The court has granted the request, and the case has now been officially closed.

Way Forward

With the appeals ended, the lower court rulings, including the summary judgment decision and the final judgment, remain intact. Notably, the $125 million fine, which was held in escrow by Ripple lawyers, will be disbursed to the SEC.

Ripple will no longer conduct institutional XRP sales in the same way that was found to violate federal securities laws. The San Francisco-based fintech company will register all future XRP sales with the SEC to avoid further legal violations.

A key development for XRP investors is that the token no longer faces any immediate threat from the SEC regarding the December 2020 case. Judge Torres has already held that XRP in itself is not a security.

In the meantime, XRP is benefitting from a relief rally across the broader crypto market. Its price has soared 5.82% over the past 24 hours, pushing the token above the $3 mark. Currently, XRP is trading at $3.03, with its market cap standing at $180.29 billion.

If You Make $1M from XRP Here’s How to Protect and Grow Wealth: Blockchain Consultant Explains

0

A blockchain consultant has explained how investors who hit the jackpot with XRP could protect and grow their wealth over time.

Notably, analysts have persistently set bold price targets for XRP, and many investors view these predictions as a chance to build serious wealth.

The Prospect of Making $1M with XRP

Specifically, community discussions have centered on figures like $100, $1,000, or even $10,000 per XRP. Meanwhile, some holders have become increasingly optimistic, setting their investment target at the $1 million mark.

For context, if XRP ever hits $100, anyone holding 10,000 XRP, worth about $30,000 today, would see that investment climb to $1 million. At $1,000, a smaller holding of 1,000 XRP worth $3,000 today would achieve the same. Meanwhile, should the ambitious $10,000 price materialize, even 100 XRP worth $300 right now could grow into a million-dollar portfolio.

How to Protect and Grow Your $1M

Amid these discussions, blockchain consultant and tech investor Armando Pantoja has argued that the bigger question is not how to make $1 million but how to keep it.

In a recent commentary, he explained that bull markets often create millionaires, but most lose their gains within 18 months. According to him, real wealth comes when that money produces steady income for life without eating into the original capital.

Pantoja advised investors who hit the million-dollar milestone to first strengthen their portfolios. He advised that they divest into Bitcoin because of its stability and look to Ethereum for its reliable staking income. However, he still championed XRP as valuable for its upside potential.

The market commentator also warned investors not to leave large holdings on exchanges. To him, moving long-term crypto into secure storage is important because exchanges often collapse in bear markets, and even trusted platforms can fail.

Unlocking Liquidity in a Smart Way

Further, Pantoja also encouraged people to unlock liquidity in smart ways. He suggested that instead of selling their crypto, investors should borrow against it through tax-free loans and then use that capital to buy assets that generate income. Several analysts have also encouraged this.

Pantoja mentioned rental properties, dividend stocks, real estate, and farmland as assets to buy. Among these, he singled out farmland as an overlooked but powerful choice, pointing out that it typically delivers 10-12% annual returns with low risk.

He also noted the need to shield wealth through legal structures like insurance, LLCs, trusts, and retirement accounts. The analyst explained that the truly wealthy don’t flaunt their success but instead protect it through careful planning.

He suggested that building long-term prosperity is less about striking it big once and more about creating steady income that lasts year after year.

Ambitious XRP Price Predictions

Notably, Pantoja’s commentary comes on the back of multiple audacious predictions for XRP. While some critics dismiss the $100 target as unrealistic because of XRP’s large circulating supply, projections of higher targets have emerged.

For instance, Matthew Brienen, Chief Operating Officer of CryptoGuard, predicted in April that XRP could reach between $100 and $1,000 within the next decade. Versan Aljarrah, co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, claimed the $1,000 would not mark the peak but instead serve as the floor. Jake Claver also argued that a $10,000 price is not out of reach.

Expert Says XRP Can Easily Double from Here; Here’s How

0

XRP continues to trade around $3 mark, market analyst Zach Rector believes it could easily double before the launch of U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Drawing from past patterns with Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, he warns that investors should also be prepared for a sharp correction once approvals finally arrive.

XRP ETF Anticipation

In his latest update, Rector explained that anticipation for XRP ETFs could fuel strong buying momentum in the months ahead. He compared the situation to Bitcoin and Ethereum, which saw major “buy-the-rumor, sell-the-news” runs around their ETF launches.

Ahead of approval, he said Bitcoin rallied nearly 80%, while Ethereum gained about 25%. However, after their ETFs went live, both assets faced steep corrections. Bitcoin dropped around 30%, and Ethereum fell 40%.

Applying this playbook to XRP, Rector said the altcoin could “easily double” before its ETFs begin trading, but he expects a strong pullback shortly after.

SEC Delay Creates October Focus

For context, the U.S. SEC recently delayed its ruling on several XRP spot ETFs, including filings from Grayscale, 21Shares, and CoinShares. The final deadline for a decision has been set for late October 2025.

According to Rector, this delay sets the stage for months of speculative buying, with October now marked as the decisive moment. Market watchers expect a surge in demand ahead of approval, followed by a sell-off once the agency announces the decision.

Institutional Inflows Could Change the Picture

Despite his warning of a post-approval correction, Rector acknowledged that consistent inflows into XRP ETFs could quickly reverse selling pressure. Analysts have projected that billions of dollars could flow into these products once trading begins.

Specifically, Canary Capital CEO Steven McClurg has suggested XRP could attract $5 billion in inflows in its first month, while JPMorgan analysts believe $8 billion could pour in during its first year. Meanwhile, some price forecasts even suggest XRP could reach as high as $26 under strong institutional demand.

Another Big Catalyst in October

Adding to the significance of October 2025, Ripple is also awaiting a clearance from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency on its federal banking charter application. For context, Ripple filed for the charter last month, and the review timeline suggests a decision could also arrive in October.

This means XRP and Ripple could be facing two major regulatory breakthroughs in the same month, ETF approval and banking status, creating a pivotal moment for both the company and the token.
