Top Analyst Reveals Two Crucial Levels to Watch for XRP Price Action

0

Prominent market analyst Michael van de Poppe has shared two levels he would be interested in XRP again following rejection from crucial resistance.

Notably, he shared on his X handle on August 12 that XRP has again stuttered at the sight of the $3.40 resistance. The third-largest cryptocurrency by market cap rose to an intraday high of $3.33 on Monday but quickly retreated amid the strong supply wall around the level.

Losing the resistance level saw it close at $3.13, posting its fourth consecutive red candlestick on the daily timeframe. While XRP has shown northward momentum today with its near 2% growth, the analyst insinuates it is all noise until either of the two scenarios he identified in his tweet plays out.

XRP and the $3.40 Resistance

Van de Poppe highlighted that while XRP did not reach $2.50 following its rejection yesterday, it shows how fast things can switch from bullish to bearish. Moreover, the rejection at the crucial resistance area suggests that prices could see further downturn in the near term.

His accompanying chart buttressed the significance of the $3.40 level and why it is crucial for XRP’s subsequent bullish development. For context, the price marked the top of XRP’s northward drive in January, when it recorded its highest-ever closing price in history.

Following the top was a phase of price correction, where XRP failed to break above a descending resistance originating from its January high of $3.40. The token consolidated below the trendline for five months until breaking out in early July.

After the breakout, XRP retested the $3.40 resistance and temporarily broke above it to a multi-year high of $3.66 the same month. Nonetheless, the bullish momentum quenched there, with XRP dumping from the area to $2.73 on August 3.

Either $3.40 or XRP goes to $2.40

Notably, XRP still struggles to trade above the $3.40 resistance area, and van de Poppe notes that the trend either changes or further corrections would follow. He emphasized that XRP would interest him when it reclaims the crucial level or dumps to between $2.60 and $2.40.

The support level between $2.60 and $2.40 is a former resistance zone where XRP stalled several times between December and now. It struggled at that level in December 2024 despite the Trump-inspired bullish momentum before breaking free in January.

XRP also struggled around the area twice in March and May. It reached highs of $2.64 and $2.58 in March and $2.65 in May, all followed by a rejection. Van de Poppe highlighted that the $2.60 and $2.40 price zones, which would entail an 18% and 24% correction from the current market price of $3.17, would be XRP’s following targets if it fails to reclaim $3.40.

XRP Bulls Insist On Higher Prices

Despite van de Poppe’s cautious call, several other market analysts are insistent on higher prices of XRP. Patrick Riley, a self-acclaimed market veteran, has likened not being bullish on XRP to being unserious, projecting an almost 10x rally for the prominent cryptocurrency.

Gert van Lagen also shared a similar sentiment, predicting that XRP is about to rip. The macro strategist asserted a rally to $34, citing the completion of a seven-year double-bottom retest.

Circle to Launch EVM-Compatible Blockchain With USDC as Gas Token

0

U.S.-publicly-listed company and issuer of USDC stablecoin, Circle, has announced plans to launch a new Layer-1 blockchain later this year.

Circle introduced the blockchain, called Arc, in its Q2 2025 earnings report, published today. According to the announcement, Arc is an EVM-compatible blockchain built for enterprise-grade stablecoin payments, capital markets use cases, and foreign exchange (FX).

Upcoming Launch

Expected to launch in public testnet this year, the L1 blockchain will be integrated across Circle’s services and platforms. In addition, Arc will be interoperable with other blockchains that Circle supports.

Notably, the blockchain will utilize Circle’s native stablecoin, USDC, as its official gas token. This implies that Arc users will be paying transaction fees in USDC when making stablecoin payments.

Moreover, Circle’s blockchain is equipped with enhanced features like sub-second settlement finality, an integrated stablecoin FX engine, and opt-in privacy controls. Meanwhile, the announcement noted that the public testnet of the blockchain will go live starting this fall or September 2025.

However, the leading stablecoin issuer did not disclose when the mainnet version of the Arc blockchain will make its debut.

Circle’s Q2 2025 Report

Circle’s announcement of Arc follows its financial report for the second quarter of the 2025 fiscal year. According to the report, Circle recorded a 53% YoY spike in total revenue and reserve income in the last quarter, reaching $658 million.

Despite experiencing revenue growth, Circle also reported a net loss of $482 million. The company attributed the net loss to the large non-cash expenses totaling $591 million from its Initial Public Offering (IPO) conducted in June.

At the time, Circle claimed it raised $1.2 billion from the IPO, with the stock (CRCL) later going live on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) at $69. Following its launch, CRCL’s price skyrocketed to $292.8, marking its all-time high.

However, the stock has lost a significant chunk of its value ever since. At the current price of $161.39, the stock is up 3.99% over the past day but has dropped 44.99% from its previous ATH.

Meanwhile, Circle’s USDC remains the second-biggest stablecoin in the market, boasting a valuation of $65.62 billion. Notably, Ethereum is the dominant blockchain of USDC, hosting $42.6 billion of the stablecoin’s supply.

Shiba Inu Eyes Over 1,000% Surge to $0.000150 as SHIB Trades in Tight Weekly Triangle

0

Shiba Inu is consolidating within a long-term weekly triangle pattern, with an analyst watching for a breakout as price nears critical support and resistance levels.

A chart from Crypto Crew University shows Shiba Inu trading in a multi-year weekly triangle pattern. The analyst suggests a potential price surge with chart analysis highlighting a breakout target of $0.000150 if price clears the resistance zone and momentum strengthens.

Shiba Inu Current Price and Key Levels

Shiba Inu trades at $0.00001309, a moderate 0.6% rise in the past day. The token has now seen a 5.9% uptick in the past week, reducing the monthly deficit to 2%. Chart analysis reveals Shiba’s immediate support sits at 0.00001045.

Notably, Shiba Inu’s first resistance zone stands at 0.00001678, and a point of control (POC) level is highlighted at 0.00002527. An additional resistance appears at 0.00003329. For context, Shiba Inu has not traded above 0.00003 since December 5, 2024.

A breakout above the first resistance level and POC could lead toward the annotated triangle target of 0.00015, representing a new all-time high. From the current price, that move would represent a gain of approximately 1,053%. For context, Shiba Inu’s all-time high was 0.00008616, recorded in October 2021.

RSI Points to Shiba Inu’s Bullish and Bearish Scenarios

Interestingly, the chart also features the stochastic relative strength index (SRSI) and the standard RSI to assess momentum. Currently, both indicators are trading below thresholds, signaling that buying strength remains limited.

A bullish scenario could play out if SHIB secures a weekly close above the triangle’s upper boundary at the first resistance, ideally accompanied by the RSI crossing 50 and the SRSI trending higher. This would validate the measured move projection toward $0.000150.

In contrast, a bearish outcome would be triggered if the price closes below the ascending trendline or drops under S1, potentially opening the way for deeper declines toward lower support levels.

Other Analyst Predicts Shiba Inu’s Price

In a separate analysis, a pseudonymous analyst, Best Crypto, is anticipating a bullish move for Shiba Inu, highlighting strong accumulation and favorable market trends on the weekly chart.

The chart, which also references notable volume surges during SHIB’s 2021 peak and 2024, shows SHIB within what it calls a “new opportunity buy zone,” with immediate resistance levels noted at $0.00001773 and $0.00002504.

A key support level exists near $0.00000510, while Fibonacci extension targets point to potential highs of $0.00010815 and $0.00012029, representing gains of roughly 685% and 773% from current levels.

Interestingly, analyst Crypto Nuclear had earlier predicted a similar rally. He noted that if Shiba Inu retest and hold a key demand zone between $0.00001090 and $0.00001190 could spark a rally toward $0.00001940, $0.00002400, and $0.00003338, with long-term targets at $0.00007870 and $0.00008836, over 580% above current prices.

Meanwhile, analyst Javon Marks is forecasting a potential 156% rise toward $0.000032 as Shiba Inu confirmed a bullish divergence on its two-day chart.

Cardano Founder Highlights Midnight’s Strength After Monero Hit by 51% Attack

0

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has stressed the need for stronger blockchain defenses after a major security breach shook the Monero network.

Responding to the recent incident, he called attention to Cardano’s Midnight sidechain and its Minotaur consensus protocol as examples of how to build a network that can withstand such threats.

Notably, Hoskinson explained that Minotaur uses a multi-resource consensus model that blends Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS). This approach spreads control across different types of resources, preventing any single one from dominating the network.

The Cardano founder said this built-in balance ensures no attacker can seize control through one method alone. This essentially makes the system far harder to compromise.

Monero Faces 51% Attack

His comments came after Monero faced a sustained 51% attack. Earlier this month, blockchain project Qubic set out to control more than half of Monero’s mining power. To do this, they attracted miners with a “pay-to-switch” offer that paid far more than traditional Monero pools.

Shortly after, Qubic’s pool reached over 3 GH/s in mining power, about 52.7% of the entire Monero network. This gave them the ability to reorganize the blockchain, orphan competing blocks, and dictate transaction history for extended periods.

Notably, Qubic claimed the takeover was a stress test meant to expose weaknesses rather than a malicious strike, but the development still triggered concerns about double-spending and censorship.

Amid these concerns, the Monero (XMR) market reacted quickly. Specifically, Monero’s price has dropped more than 5% today alone, sliding from around $267 to under $244 before slightly recovering to the current price of $253. This month, XMR has fallen about 17% despite the broader market’s recovery.

Reports also showed Qubic sold a large share of its mined Monero for stablecoins, using the funds to buy and burn its own QUBIC tokens. This approach helps to boost its token’s value while maintaining mining dominance on Monero.

Cardano Sidechain Midnight Prevents This Using Minotaur

Several industry commentators have highlighted that the episode reveals how vulnerable single-resource consensus systems can be. Notably, when one party gathers enough of the same resource, in Monero’s case, hash power, they can effectively take over. Hoskinson said this is exactly the risk Minotaur was built to prevent.

For the uninitiated, Minotaur powers Midnight, Cardano’s fourth-generation blockchain focused on privacy, scalability, and interoperability. Midnight uses advanced Zero-Knowledge Proofs, specifically ZK-SNARKs, to verify transactions without exposing private data. These privacy features demand heavy computation, making efficient and secure resource management essential.

Minotaur blends multiple forms of consensus to make it impossible for one resource alone to control the network. This bolsters security and also keeps computational loads balanced across participants. Cardano Stake Pool Operators, who validate for both Cardano and Midnight, can run the system without their hardware becoming overloaded.

Ethereum Breaks $4,400 as BitMine Expands $20B Offering to Aggressively Acquire ETH

0

The price of Ethereum has reached a new milestone, surging past the $4,400 mark due to significant institutional buying by BitMine Immersion Technologies.

The company, now holding over 1.15 million ETH, announced that it has expanded its equity offering by a staggering $20 billion, bringing its total capacity to $24.5 billion. BitMine’s goal is to acquire up to 5% of the total supply of Ethereum to solidify its position as the largest corporate holder of ETH globally.

With this new offering, BitMine plans to continue purchasing large amounts of ETH, replicating the aggressive accumulation strategy first pioneered by MicroStrategy with Bitcoin. In just a few short weeks, BitMine has already amassed nearly $5 billion in Ethereum holdings, with no signs of slowing down.

Ethereum Price Soars Amid Institutional FOMO

Meanwhile, as BitMine presses forward with its acquisitions, Ethereum’s price has seen a significant uptick. ETH crossed the $4,400 threshold for the first time since 2021, fueled in part by BitMine’s buying spree.

Notably, Ethereum has experienced a streak of green candles in recent weeks, currently boasting a seven-day gain of 23%, compared to Bitcoin’s 6% growth. Optimism is higher than ever that Ethereum will establish a new peak this year.

Image

For instance, Tom Lee, chairman of BitMine and co-founder of Fundstrat, has made his bullish stance on Ethereum clear. In a recent podcast, he suggested that ETH could soon outpace Bitcoin in terms of value.

Lee is projecting that Ethereum could reach as high as $7,000 to $15,000 by the end of the year. Meanwhile, BitMine believes the price of ETH could reach $60,000 in a few years. The ongoing buying pressure from institutions increasingly fuels this outlook.

ETH Treasuries Gaining Steam

BitMine’s aggressive accumulation is setting the stage for an “Ethereum MicroStrategy” era, where corporate treasuries continue to pile into the network.

Already, numerous institutional investors have disclosed their strategies for continued accumulation and staking of Ethereum.

SharpLink and The Ether Machine have been among the leading firms building substantial ETH treasuries alongside BitMine. Just last week, SharpLink announced a $200 million capital raise to purchase ETH tokens.

While The Ether Machine’s ETH holdings are worth $1.52 billion, SharpLink’s ETH holdings now exceed $2.63 billion.

Meanwhile, the Ethereum Foundation, with over 232,000 ETH, remains dominant in the ecosystem, ranking third among the top holders of ETH.

Analyst Says You Must Be So Naive to Think XRP Will Remain at $3

0

With XRP still holding around $3 after reports of the Ripple lawsuit’s conclusion, skepticism about the coin’s price action is again brewing.

While some traders are writing off XRP, technical analyst Dark Defender believes such thinking reflects a lack of perspective.

In a post on X, Dark Defender tweeted that those who believe XRP will linger around $3 without pushing higher “must be so naive.”

He compared XRP to major global currencies like the U.S. dollar, British pound, euro, yen, and Swiss franc. The statement addresses the skepticism about XRP despite its potential role as a settlement layer for global currencies.

For context, XRP has dipped by 5% over the last 24 hours, with the risk of losing the $3 psychological level. The decline has almost wiped out the gains it secured over the past week following the news of Ripple’s lawsuit conclusion.

While this ongoing performance is frustrating to some, market commentators like Dark Defender believe this skepticism is misplaced.

XRP Primed for Higher Levels in the Short Term

Dark Defender’s confidence in XRP’s further upsurge aligns with the broader bullish sentiment within the XRP community. Analysts have been eyeing much higher price targets as institutional interest builds and regulatory clarity improves.

For example, influencer Mario Nawfal recently predicted that XRP could reach $10 by the end of 2025 if Bitcoin hits $225,000. Meanwhile, analyst Ali Martinez sees XRP’s technical structure pointing to a breakout in the $11–$12 range. This outlook is fueled by a multi-year triangle formation and a bullish flag pattern.

Bigger Predictions Still on the Table

At the same time, some experts predict even higher targets. Patrick Riley has argued that XRP could deliver a 10x return from current levels, potentially reaching $30 this cycle. Carl Moon has supported similar views, while others, like Dustin Layton, expect $50 before the close of 2025.

On the extreme end, long-term advocates like Versan Aljarrah have drawn inspiration from XRP’s position in the multi-trillion-dollar financial market to call for far more aggressive price targets.

Recently, Aljarrah suggested XRP could reach $1,000 to better serve the financial market. He had previously placed the price at $10,000, despite the skepticism such an extreme prediction often draws.

While projections vary widely, the common thread among bullish analysts is that $3 is far from XRP’s ceiling. Technical indicators, on-chain metrics, and improving market sentiment all point toward the possibility of new all-time highs.

For Dark Defender and other optimistic voices, underestimating XRP’s upside potential now could be a costly mistake. However, to trader Crashius Clay, XRP is overvalued and could face a dramatic decline someday.

Expert Explains Why $1,000 XRP Price Won’t Be the Ceiling but the Floor

0

Versan Aljarrah, co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, is reinforcing his long-term bullish stance on XRP.

This month, he predicted that once XRP becomes the bridge asset for global financial infrastructure, $1,000 will mark the floor, not the ceiling.

Aljarrah’s statement implies that the XRP price would need to expand massively from today’s value to efficiently serve its utility in the financial market. He sees $1,000 as a base price, not the top. Notably, XRP is trading slightly above $3 today.

Tokenized Future Needs a Strong Bridge Asset

Aljarrah argued that the future of finance will be built on tokenized assets, real-time foreign exchange settlements, and sovereign debt swaps. This paints a vast ecosystem where trillions of dollars could move seamlessly across borders.

In this scenario, he envisions XRP playing a central role as the bridge currency connecting these tokenized systems. He believes XRP will necessarily become more valuable than it is today.

This latest projection builds on Aljarrah’s earlier position that a $3 XRP price is unsustainable in a tokenized economy worth trillions of dollars. At that level, he suggested, XRP’s liquidity pool would be too small to efficiently facilitate the massive flows expected in such a financial framework.

By contrast, a higher price point in the hundreds or thousands of dollars would enable the necessary scalability and liquidity for large-scale cross-border settlements, central bank transactions, and institutional use cases.

XRP Max Supply Factor

Moreover, Aljarrah strengthened his argument by highlighting XRP’s fixed maximum supply and its built-in transaction burn mechanism, which gradually reduces the circulating supply over time.

He explained that with a capped supply and transaction-based burns, XRP’s overall supply decreases while demand increases. This dynamic follows fundamental supply-and-demand principles, which could drive the value of XRP significantly higher over time.

In an earlier statement, Aljarrah argued that XRP’s max supply of 100 billion tokens is insufficient for global economic needs. As a result, he called burning XRP “unnecessary,” suggesting that future demand will outstrip supply, supposedly pushing the price higher.

Supporting View

Aljarrah’s forecast echoes a broader sentiment among some XRP advocates who believe the token’s role will expand far beyond retail trading.

For instance, crypto founder Jake Claver has claimed that XRP is “programmed” to reach $10,000 for institutional efficiency. Claver explained that higher XRP prices allow the network to move larger sums with fewer tokens.

Citing Ripple CTO David Schwartz, he noted that moving $1 billion with XRP requires 1 billion tokens at $1 each. However, only one token will be needed if XRP is worth $1 billion.

Claver claims XRP needs to hit $10,000 to enable trillion-dollar transactions, as current prices and market cap can’t support that scale. At $10,000, XRP would have over $585 trillion in theoretical liquidity, enough to handle major institutional flows. He believes this price level could be achieved within 24 months.

Despite the optimistic nature of these commentaries, critics continue to poke holes in them, as such predictions often overlook the potential market cap implications. Prices like $1,000 or $10,000 would result in valuations that far exceed global wealth.

Meanwhile, some industry commentators believe a $1,000 XRP price could be possible by the next decade.

Analyst Predicts Explosive Rally for Cardano, Says ADA To Do Something Similar XRP Did

0

A popular market commentator has expressed optimism about Cardano, forecasting that ADA will have a major rally similar to XRP’s recent performance.

Sheldon the Sniper, the host of the Crypto Banter podcast, shared this bullish projection during his recent livestream. During the livestream, Sheldon sent a shoutout to the Cardano community, emphasizing that he loves its members and is optimistic about the project’s native token, ADA.

Notably, he speculated that investors will experience a “Cardano explosion again,” meaning that ADA will embark on another strong rally. Interestingly, he suggested that this upcoming explosion could be similar to what XRP did, potentially replicating the performance of the third-biggest cryptocurrency.

XRP Explosive Surge

For context, XRP stunned the broader crypto market with an incredible performance over the past few months. XRP, which is currently trading above the $3 price region, was hovering around $0.50 in November 2024.

Its underperformance at the time was attributed to the developments relating to the SEC v. Ripple lawsuit. However, XRP got its breakthrough after Donald Trump was re-elected in November 2024. With Trump changing the SEC leadership, XRP’s price reached a multi-year high of $3.34 in January 2024, marking a 568% increase from the $0.5 price level.

Last month, the token rallied to $3.65 amid a broader market rally. However, it failed to sustain this momentum, failing to reclaim or surpass its previous ATH at $3.84. Currently, XRP is trading at $3.15, representing a surge of 530% from the $0.5 level.

Cardano Performance

Although Cardano has seen a significant price surge since the election, it still lags behind XRP in gains over the past few months. Before the election, ADA’s price hovered around $0.35. ADA witnessed its biggest price surge after Trump’s re-election in early December, when its price rose to a multi-year high of $1.31, representing an increase of 274% from the $0.35 level.

It has since retraced to $0.78, where it currently trades. Based on Sheldon’s commentary, Cardano could witness a substantial rally, akin to XRP’s incredible performance. This could push the price of ADA to unprecedented levels.

For context, if ADA follows XRP’s trajectory and sees a minimum growth of 500%, its price could spike to $4.68 from the current $0.78. It is worth mentioning that Sheldon did not set a price target for Cardano.

In the meantime, Cardano boasts of several developments that could propel ADA’s price to a major rally. This includes the rollout of Midnight on the Cardano blockchain, which founder Charles Hoskinson believes will propel Cardano to the next level.

Phase 2 of 2025 Alt Season Imminent

Meanwhile, Sheldon is confident that the second phase of the 2025 Alt Season is just around the corner. According to him, phase two of the Alt Season will commence immediately Bitcoin surpasses its previous ATH of $123,091.

However, he speculated that the market will first experience a slight correction after Bitcoin’s breakout before altcoin prices rally sharply.

Expert Predicts XRP Price for December 2025 if Bitcoin Hits $225,000

0

As the market continues to test new highs in 2025, prominent crypto commentator Mario Nawfal has released his end-of-year price predictions for XRP and other top assets.

Nawfal, known for hosting the popular “Roundtable” show on X, shared his December 31st outlook for the four largest crypto assets by market cap. Specifically, he outlined where he believes Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana could land if current momentum holds.

Bitcoin Could Hit $225,000 by December

Nawfal’s forecast centers around Bitcoin leading the next phase of the bull cycle. He suggested a climb to an unprecedented $225,000 by year-end. This would represent a market capitalization of over $4.4 trillion, placing Bitcoin above the world’s most valuable companies and ranking it only behind gold.

Such a rally could lift sentiment across the board and provide the conditions necessary for XRP, Ethereum, and Solana to hit new peak prices.

XRP Target by Year-End

In Nawfal’s projections, XRP could trade at $10 by December 31. Notably, with XRP currently trading at just $3.15, his outlook suggests an almost threefold increase in value for the coin by the close of 2025.

This would push XRP’s market capitalization above half a trillion dollars, solidifying its position among the largest digital assets.

While a $10 XRP would still fall short of the $30 projections made by ultra-bullish analysts like Carl Moon, it would still mark a notable milestone for, as this would be the first time XRP enters the double-digit range.

Many in the XRP community see such a surge as realistic if institutional integration and ETF approval accelerate over the coming months. For instance, market commentator Zach Rector has stated that ETF inflows into XRP following approval and the conclusion of the Ripple lawsuit could support XRP’s journey to $20 by next year.

Meanwhile, analyst EGRAG has used various technical indicators to forecast a range of $7 to $30 for XRP this season, with $20 being his base target.

However, more conservative voices, like Aaron Arnold, suggest a $5 price for XRP by early 2026, especially if Bitcoin hits $150,000.

Ethereum and Solana to Hit New Peaks Too

Meanwhile, in his December 31st scenario, Nawfal predicts Ethereum will reach $10,000, more than doubling from current levels. Notably, Ethereum is currently trading at a three-year high of $4,300, having surged 46% in the last four weeks.

The $10,000 target is widely anticipated in the crypto space, with many analysts forecasting it for Ethereum. This would place Ethereum’s market cap above $1.2 trillion. Meanwhile, Carl Moon suggests ETH could even reach $25,000 this year.

As for Solana, Nawfal projects a climb to $1,000, a more than 475% gain from SOL’s current level of $175. Solana reached an all-time high of nearly $300 seven months ago but has struggled to approach that level since.

However, SOL is up 24% in the last two months. At $1,000, Solana would have a market cap of $540 billion, enough to rank it above Mastercard and Netflix.

Here’s XRP Price if XRP ETFs Pull in $5B in the First Month

0

The XRP price could reach new heights if XRP ETFs attract the amount of capital inflows predicted by the Canary Capital CEO, Steven McClurg.

McClurg made his forecast in a recent podcast episode. Specifically, his firm is one of the applicants seeking approval to launch the product, and he believes the ETFs could attract $5 billion in inflows during their first month.

Why the Canary Capital CEO Believes XRP ETFs Could Perform Well

Notably, speaking to host Paul Barron, the Canary Capital CEO explained why he expects XRP ETFs to outshine Ethereum ETFs and why that first month could witness massive inflows.

For the first reason, McClurg highlighted that Ethereum holders have an alternative to ETFs: they can stake their ETH directly through exchanges or on-chain, earning 2% to 3% yields.

Because of this, many crypto-savvy investors might prefer to hold ETH themselves instead of buying an ETF that offers no staking rewards. XRP doesn’t have staking, so ETF buyers wouldn’t lose out on any extra returns by investing through an ETF instead of holding directly.

He also called attention to XRP’s dominance in the payment category. While Ethereum faces competition from other smart contract platforms, XRP has few direct rivals. McClurg argued that this leadership position keeps XRP ahead of the pack and more attractive to investors.

The third factor he pointed to was demand. Notably, XRP has one of the most active communities in crypto, with millions of dedicated supporters worldwide. McClurg believes this level of interest could trigger massive ETF demand, helping the $5 billion target become a reality.

XRP Price if XRP ETFs Attract $5B Inflows

If that happens, the effect on XRP’s price could be massive due to the market cap multiplier effect. Market analyst Dom found earlier this year that just $61 million in buy pressure boosted XRP’s market cap by $16.6 billion. Interestingly, this works out to a staggering 272x market cap multiplier.

Applying that same ratio to McClurg’s $5 billion ETF inflow estimate would push XRP’s market cap up by about $1.36 trillion. With XRP currently trading at $3.15, a $186.5 billion market cap, and 59.3 billion tokens in circulation, this jump would lift the total value to roughly $1.546 trillion. At that level, XRP would trade near $26 per token.

However, to get a second opinion, we sought Google Gemini’s opinion. In response, the AI chatbot agreed that approval of XRP ETFs would trigger a wave of FOMO buying from retail and institutional investors. Gemini suggested that this sudden demand could lead to higher prices.

Nonetheless, it considered more modest multipliers of 10x and 15x for its evaluation. Under these assumptions, $5 billion in inflows would raise XRP’s market cap to between $236.5 billion and $261.5 billion, putting the price between $3.99 and $4.41.
