Top Developer Explains XRP Path to $20,000

XRP commentators Xena and Chad Steingraber have reignited the controversial discussion about XRP potentially reaching as high as $20,000 per coin.

The coin currently trades around $2, but the ambitious theory speculates a future where XRP’s price could increase by 10,000 times from its current level. Fueling this perspective are several factors that, according to proponents, could drive XRP toward that lofty price point.

Notably, the “XRP to $20,000” theory originally surfaced in 2022. Game developer and long-time XRP advocate Chad Steingraber first presented the idea. He outlined a detailed roadmap for how XRP could reach five-figure valuations, not through retail hype, but through institutional adoption and utility-driven scarcity.

Revisiting the theory today on X, Steingraber confirmed that the theory remains intact and increasingly relevant in the current climate. “This is how it will,” he emphasized, outlining the three major components that form the backbone of the prediction.

The Three Core Drivers Behind the $20K Target

According to Steingraber, XRP’s path to $20,000 relies on three interconnected developments:

  1. Tokenized Assets on the XRP Ledger:

As stablecoins and CBDCs are issued on the XRP Ledger, XRP serves as the underlying utility asset. These tokenized assets would create new demand for XRP-backed settlements.

  1. XRP Becomes a Reserve Asset:

Rather than being used like it is today by retail traders, banks, and financial institutions would hold XRP as a reserve asset, similar to how they treat gold, to back internal digital currencies. Indeed, many institutions have announced plans to include XRP in their reserve holdings.

  1. Institutional Absorption of Public Supply:

Steingraber’s theory also suggests that, over time, institutions will permanently remove XRP from public circulation. He expects they will lock it into private ledgers, significantly reducing the available supply on open markets.

Public Retail as a Pre-Game Warm-Up

Notably, Steingraber argues that today’s public XRP trading is merely a warm-up, with banks and enterprise players waiting in the wings. He claims that large institutions are unlikely to rely on public exchanges like Binance or Kraken due to concerns over privacy and counterparty risk.

Instead, they will operate on private ledgers backed by XRP, using institutional-grade liquidity providers to facilitate value transfers.

In his scenario, banks would not move XRP externally. Instead, they would hold it to back internal assets and settle transactions via trusted intermediaries.

Supply Shock and Institutional FOMO

Meanwhile, one of the boldest elements of Steingraber’s theory is the prediction of a supply shock triggered by institutional FOMO. With much of XRP already lost, locked, or burned, he estimates that only around 20 billion tokens remain accessible to the public.

In his view, once institutions begin aggressively acquiring XRP, the circulating supply could drop to under 100 million, or even less.

He envisions a scenario where large institutions simultaneously enter the market, sweeping through public order books and driving prices from mere cents to thousands of dollars within hours. According to him, this would not be for speculative profit, but to power trillions in daily financial operations.

Global Banking and the XRP Race

Steingraber concludes his theory by broadening the scope. He argues that it won’t just be U.S. banks competing for XRP, but also global institutions, sovereign wealth funds, and even billionaires seeking exposure to a utility-based digital asset.

He sees XRP as the backbone of a new financial infrastructure, and such is too critical for its price to remain undervalued for long.

Ultimately, the idea of a $20,000 XRP remains controversial. The theory does not account for the stiff competition within the crypto space. It envisions a future where XRP is the asset of choice for financial institutions, but several other cryptocurrencies also serve similar purposes.

Top US Financial Advisor Recommends Larger Bitcoin Exposure, Endorses Up to 40% Portfolio Allocation

0

Ric Edelman, a prominent US financial advisor, has recommended a shift from conservative to a robust portfolio allocation to Bitcoin.

Edelman, who is the head of the Digital Asset Council of Financial Advisors, shared this narrative in a recent interview with CNBC. He based his newfound claims on several variables, including Bitcoin’s mainstream emergence and the suboptimal performance of existing investment models.

Top Advisor Says Bigger Bitcoin HODL

Four years ago, Edelman recommended just 1% portfolio exposure to Bitcoin. At the time, Bitcoin was still in its early development stage, marked by volatility and uncertainty.

He raised questions then about mainstream acceptance, stating it was unclear whether governments would ban Bitcoin or if the technology would become obsolete in the future. These uncertainties caused the conservative 1% recommendation.

Meanwhile, the narrative is changing for Bitcoin, and Edelman acknowledged this yesterday. He stated that all the questions around Bitcoin and its technology have been answered. As a result, his new recommendation is a bigger HODL.

The top advisor noted that Bitcoin has undergone a radical transformation and is now a mainstream asset. As a result, he advocates that financial advisors instruct clients to allocate between 10% and a staggering 40% of their portfolios to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin’s Rise to Mainstream Adoption

Remarkably, Bitcoin’s mainstream push gained momentum following the launch of the US Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in January 2024. The investment funds have not just raked in billions of capital into the Bitcoin ecosystem but also successfully drawn global attention to the pioneering cryptocurrency.

Now, nation-states like Pakistan and the UAE, as well as public companies like MicroStrategy and Metaplanet, are continually investing in Bitcoin. Firms such as Barclays Bank, Avenir, and Goldman Sachs have also gained exposure to Bitcoin through ETFs, and many believe that institutional adoption is still in its early stages.

With this evolution, Edelman has called for a 40% allocation to Bitcoin.

60/40 Investment Model Obsolete

Meanwhile, Edelman cited the inefficiencies of the conventional 60/40 investment model as another reason for a shift to a more robust Bitcoin exposure. For the uninitiated, this model recommends a 60% portfolio exposure to stocks and 40% to bonds.

He emphasized that as life expectancy in the United States continues to increase, the moderate returns from stocks and bonds have proven insufficient. However, Bitcoin’s proven upside potential offers better returns and should be an integral part of a modern investment portfolio.

This theory proves to be true, as Bitcoin has outperformed all traditional asset classes over the past decade.

Moreover, its trajectory appears to be heading further upward, as analysts have predicted that Bitcoin could reach $500,000 or $1 million this bull cycle. In the longer term, Michael Saylor has projected a rally to $13 million per coin.

Here is How Much Shiba Inu You Need to Hold if You Plan for a $5M Retirement

0

Shiba Inu investors aiming to reach a retirement goal of $5 million must hold substantial amounts of SHIB and wait for significant price appreciation.

Number of SHIB Needed to Attain $5M Retirement Goal

Reaching a $5 million retirement target with SHIB hinges on both the size of your holdings and the extent of its price appreciation. Here is how you can achieve this milestone with 100 million, 500 million, and 1 billion SHIB holdings.

With SHIB currently trading at $0.00001181, holdings of 100 million tokens, 500 million SHIB, and 1 billion tokens cost around $1,081, $5,405, and $10,810, respectively.

Price SHIB Must Attain for 100M, 500M, and 1B Tokens to be Valued at $5M

Depending on the size of your SHIB holdings, the price of SHIB must soar dramatically to lofty targets in order to clinch the $5 million retirement goal.

Specifically, a holding of 100 million SHIB will be worth $5 million when SHIB’s price soars to $0.05. For the 500 million and 1 billion SHIB holdings, the price must reach estimated targets of $0.01 and $0.005, respectively.

When Can SHIB Hit $0.005, $0.01, or $0.05

From the current price of $0.00001081, Shiba Inu must spike 46,153%, 92,406%, and 462,434% to hit the $0.005, $0.01, and $0.05 targets.

These estimated price targets have featured prominently in several Shiba Inu-related forecasts.

As reported earlier, two prominent Bitcoin investors, Jason Williams and Yazan XBT, predicted that Shiba Inu’s price will soar to $0.05 by the end of the year. However, the Telegaon prediction platform speculated that the $0.05 forecast will not materialize until 2040, 15 years from now.

Notably, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, Lucie, suggested that it is likely that SHIB would hit the $0.01 target in the future, urging investors to exercise patience. Telegaon pegged a timeline for when the $0.01 target will materialize, indicating that it would happen between 2036 and 2039.

For the $0.005 target, the Crypto Basic previously reported that Changelly analysts expect it to materialize by 2040. Telegaon projects that SHIB will hit the $0.005 price milestone in the next 11 to 14 years.

Ripple CEO Confirms End of SEC Lawsuit, Will BlackRock Join XRP ETF Race?

0

Brad Garlinghouse announces that the SEC and Ripple will drop their respective appeals, effectively bringing their protracted litigation to a close.

Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, announced the development a few hours after U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres denied the parties’ joint motion for an indicative ruling.

As previously reported, the judge denied the parties’ joint motion seeking to modify the final judgment by reducing the penalty from $125 million to $50 million and lifting the permanent injunction imposed on Ripple’s future XRP sales to institutions.

In the latest verdict, Judge Torres urged the parties to either continue their appeals in the Second Circuit or withdraw them and accept her final judgment.

Ripple and SEC to Drop Appeals

Following the decision, Garlinghouse confirmed that Ripple would drop its cross-appeal, which contested the court’s decision on the company’s historic institutional sales. Notably, the Ripple CEO expects the SEC to follow suit and drop its appeal–challenging the verdict on the company’s programmatic sales of XRP.

With the SEC and Ripple dropping the appeal and cross-appeal, Garlinghouse said they are closing the chapter once and for all. This could bring the lawsuit to an end.

In the meantime, Garlingouse disclosed that the company will now focus its attention on “building the internet of value.”

Will BlackRock File for XRP ETF?

Following Garlinghouse’s comments, Nate Geraci, the President of ETF Store Inc., suggested that ending the lawsuit effectively removes the regulatory barrier blocking the approval of spot XRP ETFs.

For context, more than ten asset managers, including 21Shares and Bitwise, have filed with the SEC to launch XRP ETFs. However, many believe the SEC would not approve any of the applications due to its legal tussle with Ripple.

Since the parties are dropping their appeals, Geraci believes that this move clears the way for the approval of the XRP ETF. This indicates that the SEC cannot reference the case as a reason to deny or delay the multiple XRP ETF applications on its desk.

Interestingly, Geraci suggested that, with no regulatory obstacles in sight for XRP, big issuers like BlackRock can also apply to launch an ETF tied to the coin. BlackRock has yet to file for an XRP ETF despite growing institutional interest in the coin.

Speculation suggests that the SEC lawsuit was the main factor hindering BlackRock from filing for an XRP ETF. With the XRP regulatory obstacle finally over, following the parties’ decision to drop their appeals, BlackRock can confidently apply for XRP ETF if it chooses.

Trump Calls Bitcoin “Amazing,” Says It Is an Industry That Has Created Jobs for Americans

0

President Donald Trump has again shown his support for Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency industry, insisting it has created jobs for Americans.

Trump views Bitcoin not just as a digital currency but as an industry. He admitted in a White House conference on Friday that he is a fan of cryptocurrency and lauded its impact on the United States’ economy.

Bitcoin Is Amazing: Trump

When questioned about his exposure to cryptocurrency and how it has influenced the approval of certain legislation related to the sector, Trump insisted that he had been involved long before he decided to run for president again and has had little involvement investment-wise since he assumed power.

He noted that he has grown to believe in Bitcoin over time, calling it “amazing.” Remarkably, Bitcoin has been on an uptrend for most of Trump’s time in office, rallying from around $70,000 in November to an all-time high of $112,000 in May.

Trump also highlighted Bitcoin’s remarkable resilience during market turbulence, as it outperformed risk assets following the backlash to his tariff hike. Bitcoin demonstrated its potential as a store of value during those times, serving as a safe haven for investors.

Bitcoin Takes Pressure Off the Dollar

Meanwhile, the President suggested that Bitcoin has played a crucial role in sustaining the US dollar. He noted that Bitcoin “takes a lot of pressure” off the dollar, arguing it is a win for the United States.

The emerging role of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the payment system has contended with the traditional means of transacting. Many view stablecoins and innovations like those powered by Ripple as a new payment rail with better capacity than their conventional counterpart.

Furthermore, Trump noted that the crypto industry has created jobs for Americans, another benefit that his support for the sector has provided. He claimed he turned a “very powerful industry” in crypto and aims to maintain the United States’ dominance in the sector to prevent China from doing so.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Trump has claimed to have had a significant impact on the crypto sector. He congratulated Bitcoiners when BTC broke the $100,000 price mark and recognized the feat as one of his achievements in his first 100 days in office.

Nonetheless, some still view the Trump family’s involvement with the crypto sector as a conflict of interest. World Liberty Financial has expanded its purview beyond its DeFi business to issuing stablecoins, a move that nearly derailed the passing of the GENIUS Act in the US Senate.

However, Trump has confirmed he has minimal involvement, but his sons do believe in Bitcoin. Recall that Eric Trump stated at the Bitcoin Conference 2025 that Bitcoin would surpass $1 million, and 0.1 BTC would be worth a fortune in the future.

Here’s How High XRP Could Climb Now As Ripple and SEC Decides to End Their Case

0

Ripple has finally decided to bring its long-running legal fight with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to a close.

Ripple to Withdraw Its Appeal, Essentially Closing the Case

On June 27, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse confirmed that the company would withdraw its cross-appeal in the lawsuit, accepting a $125 million civil penalty and moving on without further litigation. Notably, the SEC is expected to do the same, marking the official end of a legal standoff that has lasted over four years.

This decision came just a day after Judge Analisa Torres rejected a joint request from Ripple and the SEC. The two parties had asked the court to lower Ripple’s fine to $50 million and lift the permanent ban on its institutional XRP sales.

Judge Torres refused, stating they hadn’t shown a good enough reason to alter the original judgment. She gave both sides a clear option: move forward with appeals or end the case. Ripple chose instead to end the case with the final ruling.

How High Could XRP Go?

Currently, XRP changes hands at $2.18, up 1.85% this morning. Following the announcement, we asked Gemini, Google’s AI model, how far XRP’s price might rise over the next year now that the legal battle is coming to an end.

In response, Gemini explained that the end of this legal overhang could act as a strong catalyst for XRP’s growth. Based on past reactions to favorable news, such as the 70% price jump after the partial court win in 2023, Gemini suggested XRP could rally to around $3.00 to $3.50 within weeks or months of the official case closure.

Looking further, Gemini highlighted a growth path. Amid the legal clarity, Ripple could push its expansion across the U.S. market. Notably, more financial institutions might partner with Ripple now that the legal risk has eased.

Moreover, the chances of a spot XRP ETF entering the U.S. market have increased. In addition to this, Gemini pointed to stronger developer interest in the XRP Ledger as a factor that could add long-term utility and support for XRP’s value.

In this scenario, Gemini set a price range between $5 and $8 for XRP over the next year. Specifically, it says a $5 outcome would reflect steady progress, while $8 would suggest aggressive growth fueled by major developments like ETF approvals, strong adoption, and a broader crypto bull market.

Background of the 4-Year Ripple v. SEC Lawsuit

For context, the SEC first sued Ripple in December 2020, accusing it of raising $1.3 billion through unregistered sales of XRP. Ripple pushed back, arguing that XRP is a digital asset, not a security.

In July 2023, Judge Torres ruled that XRP isn’t a security in and of itself, but she also found Ripple guilty of securities violations in its institutional sales. That led to a $125 million penalty.

However, in January 2025, the SEC filed an appeal, aiming to reverse parts of the earlier decision, and Ripple also filed a cross-appeal. Then in May, both sides floated a tentative $50 million settlement following new SEC leadership. Nonetheless, most recently, the judge rejected their request and left the original penalties in place.

Ripple has now responded by dropping its appeal, and the SEC is expected to follow. It bears mentioning that the court’s decision that XRP is not a security in the open market remains unchanged, and both sides appear ready to move forward with the $125 million penalty and the permanent injunction on Ripple.

Here’s XRP Price if XRP Reclaims Only Half of Its Peak Market Dominance

0

The XRP price could soar to a new all-time high if XRP reclaimed just half of its peak market dominance at the current position of the global crypto market.

The cryptocurrency market has grown over the years, rising from just $4.28 billion a decade ago to the current size of $3.28 trillion. This indicates that the broader crypto market has grown by 76,528% over the last ten years, and most of the assets within the market have grown proportionally.

XRP Has Not Grown Proportionally with the Broader Market

However, not all the assets have grown as well as they should, especially considering their positions years back. One such crypto asset is XRP, which has been set back several years by regulatory issues that triggered a wave of delistings in the U.S., the largest destination for crypto investments.

Notably, a look back at historical data shows that XRP commanded its peak market dominance in May 2017, during the impressive price rally at the time. Specifically, by May 17, 2017, XRP’s market cap soared to $15.28 billion. This represented a market dominance of 31.33%, considering the broader crypto market cap stood at $48.78 billion at the time.

XRP Peak Market Dominance
XRP Peak Market Dominance

On May 17, 2017, Bitcoin had a market cap of around $29 billion, representing a market dominance of 59.45%. Since then, Bitcoin has only grown alongside the broader market, while XRP has not observed a similar growth. Bitcoin’s market cap now stands at $2.132 trillion, a 7,251% increase since May 2017.

Meanwhile, XRP currently has a market cap of $128.8 billion, marking an increase of just 743% from the May 2017 figures. As a result, while Bitcoin’s market dominance has increased to 65.75% at press time, XRP’s dominance is now 3.96%, a massive crash from the 31.33% peak in May 2017.

XRP Price at Half Its Peak Market Dominance

At this position, XRP trades for $2.18, a price at which many consider it massively undervalued. However, what if XRP maintained its 31.33% market dominance now that the crypto market has grown to $3.28 trillion? We recently considered this reality. However, we reduced the dominance by half for a more realistic estimate.

Notably, half of the 31.33% dominance stands at 15.665%. If XRP had a 15.665% market dominance with the broader market at $3.28 trillion, its market cap would sit at $513.8 billion. At this valuation, the price of XRP would rise to $8.7, considering the current circulating supply of 59 billion tokens.

Interestingly, CryptosRus founder George Tung suggested last month that XRP’s realistic target for the end of this year is $8 to $10. However, while the $8 target is a higher valuation for XRP, some community pundits like Xena have insisted that it’s not a major achievement.

Importantly, if instead of reaching half of its peak market dominance, XRP claimed the full figure, the price could reach higher levels. Specifically, XRP’s market cap would reach $1.027 trillion at a 31.33% market dominance, considering the current crypto cap of $3.28 trillion. At this valuation, the price of 1 XRP would hit $17.4.

XRP Price to a Range of $200 to $400: Here’s a Possible Timeline

0

Amid audacious projections that XRP has the potential to reach three-digit prices, opinions vary among leading market sources.

Several market watchers expect a major XRP price upsurge in the coming years, with some suggesting XRP could eventually climb into the $200 to $400 price range. This represents an ambitious leap that would require gains of between 9,850% and 19,800%.

To assess whether these price targets could realistically materialize, we asked multiple sources. We gathered projections from major AI models, including ChatGPT by OpenAI, Gemini by Google, and Grok AI by xAI.

XRP Price Predictions from ChatGPT and Google Gemini

According to ChatGPT, XRP could reach $200 within 7.3 years if it grows at a compound annual rate of 100%. At 150% growth per year, the timeframe shortens to around 5.2 years. Meanwhile, for XRP to hit $400, it estimates 8.9 years at 100% growth or about 6.3 years at 150%.

ChatGPT based this projection on developments involving steady regulatory progress, institutional adoption, and expanding utility in the payments sector.

It suggested that XRP could realistically climb to $200 between 2029 and 2031. Also, if growth continues and XRP captures roles in areas like CBDC liquidity and derivatives markets, the $400 level could materialize between 2032 and 2035.

Meanwhile, Google Gemini presented a more optimistic and ambitious forecast. It proposed that XRP could reach $200 as early as late 2026 or sometime in 2028, assuming some important developments fall into place.

These developments include full regulatory clarity, the launch of spot XRP ETFs, and broad adoption by banks and financial networks for cross-border transfers.

Also, for XRP to reach $400, Gemini projected a longer timeline, likely between 2028 and 2030. However, it stressed that this would only happen if XRP grows into a global clearing asset and gains a major position in central bank digital currency infrastructure.

XRP Price Predictions from Grok, Changelly, and Telegaon

In its response, Grok AI acknowledged that XRP would need to climb nearly 10,000% to reach $200, and almost 20,000% to hit $400. Grok linked this possibility to real-world use cases, especially XRP’s role in facilitating international payments.

It explained that prices could rise as more financial institutions adopt XRP, bolstering demand while the circulating supply remains limited. However, Grok noted that reaching these prices would demand a level of global adoption that has yet to be seen.

Grok also highlighted XRP’s price history, calling attention to its explosive rise from $0.02 to $3.84 in just over a year between 2017 and 2018. However, it warned that repeating such a run now would be much harder due to XRP’s larger market cap.

Grok suggested that XRP might reach $200 between 2030 and 2032 if it captures a sizable share of the $5 trillion global remittance market. Nonetheless, reaching $400 could take until 2035–2040, and would likely require XRP to replace or compete directly with major global payment systems like SWIFT.

We also assessed predictions from crypto platforms Changelly and Telegaon. Analysts at Changelly believe XRP could reach a price between $200 to $400 in 2040. Specifically, they believe XRP could reach a maximum price of $222 in January 2040 and then claim a minimum price of $408 a few months later, in March 2040.

Meanwhile, Telegaon does not even expect XRP to claim $200 in 2040. They believe it would take 10 more years, predicting that XRP could trade at a minimum price of $236 in 2050. However, they expect the maximum price in 2050 to be $285, with no provision for a timeline for reaching $400.

‘If it isn’t Clear Yet, XRP Actually is a Threat to Bitcoin’ Pundit

0

A prominent market commentator has insisted that XRP is actually a threat to Bitcoin’s dominance in the cryptocurrency market.

This bold suggestion came from Charles Shrem, the notable crypto YouTuber and market analyst behind the Blockchain Backer crypto account, who has, over the years, expressed his bullish stance on XRP. Notably, his recent comment comes at a time when XRP is still struggling to keep up with Bitcoin’s recent uptrend.

Bitcoin Outpaces XRP This Year

For context, after XRP gained 222% against Bitcoin from November 2024 to January 2025, it witnessed a massive collapse from February 2025. Notably, since February, XRP has crashed over 39% against Bitcoin. This is due to the fact that while BTC has seen new ATHs since February, XRP has mostly consolidated around $2.

Despite this prevalent pattern, market commentators like Shrem believe XRP has the potential to threaten Bitcoin’s dominance. In his latest commentary, he highlighted in a straightforward manner for the first time that XRP is a threat to Bitcoin, to clarify his position to the general public.

XRP a Threat to Bitcoin?

It bears mentioning that while Shrem had in the past hinted at this position, this is the first time he is boldly declaring it directly. For instance, following Donald Trump’s January 2025 executive order to explore the creation of a “digital asset stockpile,” Shrem suggested that Bitcoiners perceived XRP as a threat.

Specifically, Trump ordered that a team explore the appropriate avenue to create a “digital asset stockpile” instead of a “Bitcoin reserve.” While this triggered concerns among Bitcoin proponents, most of them directed their frustration to XRP, claiming Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse had advocated for the inclusion of XRP.

This antagonism persisted despite the executive order having no mention of XRP. In response, Shrem suggested that the reason Bitcoin maximalists had directed their anger at XRP was because they felt threatened by XRP.

The constant criticisms from the Bitcoin community eventually led to a full-blown conflict with the XRP community. Amid the conflict, Shrem noted in a subsequent commentary that Bitcoin proponents were indirectly advertising XRP as a threat to overthrow Bitcoin. It is unclear if Shrem referred to their respective market positions or something else entirely.

XRP Price If It Surpasses Bitcoin Market Cap

However, despite the persistent suggestions, XRP is still a long way from recovering the second spot from Ethereum (ETH), much less overthrowing Bitcoin in market position.

For context, currently trading for $2.09, XRP has a market cap of $123.7 billion. To surpass Ethereum’s valuation of $295.3 billion, XRP would need to rise 139% to a price of $5 per token.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin, which currently trades for $107,000, boasts a market cap of $2.125 trillion, being the largest crypto asset in the market. For XRP to overthrow BTC at this current position, its price must rise 1,622% to $36. Interestingly, analyst Dark Defender predicted last October that XRP could reach $36.

‘If Bitcoin Went to $100K, Why Can’t XRP Reach $10,000’ Former NEAR Engineer Cites Common Belief

Altan Tutar, co-founder of MoreMarkets and former engineer at the NEAR Foundation, recently shared his experience with the XRP community and the ambitious price predictions many within it hold.

He highlighted the strength of the XRP Army and the community-driven belief that XRP could one day reach the $10,000 mark. His comments came during an episode of The Rollup podcast.

After immersing himself in XRP-focused YouTube channels and attending the XRP Las Vegas event, Tutar remarked on the intense conviction of XRP holders. He noted how many firmly believe that XRP could eventually climb to $10,000.

“There are people who almost believe in it like a religion,” Tutar said. “It’s an amazing marketing machine… I’ve never seen anything like this in any other community.”

“Bitcoin Hit $100K, So Why Not XRP?”

Meanwhile, podcast host Andy dismissed the $10,000 price prediction as a fantasy, stating, “XRP is not going to $10,000.” In his view, it’s unlikely to even reach $100, adding that $10 is already a stretch for XRP.

This skepticism reflects a broader market sentiment. XRP has struggled to break past its all-time high for nearly eight years, making the notion of it reaching $100, let alone $10,000, highly questionable.

Tutar did not confirm the $10,000 prediction himself but defended the internal logic of such beliefs within the community. He explained that just as Bitcoin’s meteoric rise once seemed improbable, XRP supporters now believe their asset can also defy expectations.

“Bitcoin went to $100K,” he said, highlighting the common rationale within the community. “So why not XRP?”

Notably, with Bitcoin currently trading at $107,000, it has risen by an astounding 220,138,673% from its bottom 15 years ago. By comparison, XRP, on the market for nearly as long, has risen just 74,605% from its lowest price to its current value of $2.09. From here, XRP would need to surge another 478,368% to reach the lofty $10,000 price target.

Given this enormous leap and the resulting market cap implications, many critics have dismissed the $10,000 prediction as pure fantasy. Yet, Bitcoin’s historical trajectory continues to fuel the optimism of many XRP proponents.

No Yield, Just Conviction

Tutar also pointed out that XRP differs from many other tokens in a major way. For one, it does not offer staking or yield rewards. He explained that this shapes the behavior of its holders, who aren’t drawn by the potential for passive income.

“You’re not earning yields,” he said. “It’s the belief in the community that at some point it will [explode in value].”

This loyalty has influenced MoreMarkets’ own strategy. According to Tutar, the company plans to start by engaging with the XRP ecosystem before expanding to other under-activated assets like Stellar (XLM) and NEAR.

Indeed, the XRP community has long been known for its resilience, especially during Ripple’s legal battles with the U.S. SEC. For Tutar, this strength represents more than just hype; it’s a force that platforms like MoreMarkets can harness for broader adoption and innovation.

“We talk to them quite often,” he said. “We do a bunch of marketing with XRP Key Opinion Leaders.”
