Bitcoin Drops 100% from $103,000 to $0 on MEXC Exchange: Here’s What Happened

0

A TradingView glitch caused Bitcoin to drop by 100% to $0 on the crypto exchange MEXC, sparking an uproar within the crypto community.

Bitcoin traded between $101,000 and $105,000 on the open market yesterday, rebounding from a market flush the previous day. However, market data confirms the asset surprisingly dropped a staggering 100% to $0 on Seychelles-based crypto exchange MEXC.

The development made rounds on crypto Twitter as market proponents reacted to the price glitch. Crypto Beast, a veteran trader, drew the attention of his over 700,000 X followers and the broader community to the sharp decline in a Friday post.

He claimed in his post that the glitch, which lasted only for a few seconds, sparked a liquidation frenzy. According to him, all long positions on MEXC were liquidated.

Just A TradingView Glitch: MEXC

Notably, as a result, the speculations degenerated into widespread criticisms of MEXC, with claims of scams and fraud leveled against the exchange. Nonetheless, a reaction has followed, attempting to clear the air.

For context, MEXC Builders, the developer team of the Seychelles-based exchange, has taken to X to address the derogatory claims. The June 6 post clarified that Bitcoin’s price did not drop to $0 on its platform, nor did long positions suffer any loss due to the event.

However, the candlestick wick to $0 circulating on the internet is a glitch on TradingView’s path. This meant that it was a mere display error on the prominent online trading platform and did not reflect Bitcoin’s price on the MEXC website.

Meanwhile, the developers revealed that TradingView has rectified the display mishap. Furthermore, it is in contact with the platform’s technical team to address the issue at its root and prevent a similar event from occurring in the future.

At the time of writing, TradingView has not responded to the claims. Additionally, Bitcoin’s price has stabilized on the MEXC TradingView window, trading at its normal price of $104,856, alongside other exchanges.

Similar Crypto Price Glitches

Remarkably, even the most sophisticated exchanges have occasionally experienced glitches in asset prices. A similar occurrence happened several times on Binance, the largest crypto exchange by trading volume, in 2023.

For perspective, Bitcoin’s price glitched from $42,000 to $420,000 on the Binance futures market in December 2023. Notably, it occurred just three months after another price display malfunction, during which Bitcoin dropped 90% from $21,700 to $2,707.

Binance confirmed in both cases that it was a mere visual display error with no impact on trading activities.

Further, XRP has also seen several price glitches, both on TradingView and on the exchanges. For instance, the token traded at $62,032 on Kraken in June 2024, following a display error after reaching $9,864 on TradingView a few days earlier.

Here Are Projected Timelines for XRP to Hit $50, $150, and $250

XRP could claim two to three-digit price levels in the next few years, according to several sources such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Changelly.

Currently, XRP trades at $2.18, holding steady despite recent market volatility. Earlier this year, the token peaked at $3.40 before dipping, but it has consistently stayed above the $2 support, awaiting a catalyst to break upward.

Interestingly, this resilience, alongside XRP’s growing utility and potential to dominate the mainstream payment scene, has kept investor confidence strong, fueling bullish predictions about XRP’s long-term potential. Some of these predictions include rallies to $50, $150, and even $250.

Nonetheless, it remains unclear if these predictions could materialize. To get a clearer picture, we looked at projections from several sources: OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini AI, and the cryptocurrency exchange platform Changelly.

ChatGPT Predicts When XRP Can Reach $50, $150, and $250

Responding to the question, ChatGPT first calculated the market caps required for XRP to reach these price points, assuming its circulating supply of 58.82 billion tokens stays the same.

Specifically, to reach $50, XRP would need a market cap of about $2.94 trillion. At $150, it would need to grow to $8.82 trillion, and $250 would require a $14.7 trillion market cap. For context, Bitcoin currently has a market cap of around $2 trillion, and the total crypto market valuation is $3.27 trillion.

According to ChatGPT, XRP might climb to $50 between 2030 and 2035 if it plays a major role in international payments. That could happen if banks and financial institutions adopt it widely, or if it becomes central to systems that replace traditional tools like SWIFT.

However, reaching $150 would likely take even longer, possibly after 2040, and would require XRP to be at the heart of digital finance, possibly tied to central bank digital currencies.

As for $250, ChatGPT considers that level extremely ambitious and nearly impossible. According to the chatbot, it is only reachable if XRP becomes a global reserve asset.

Gemini and Changelly Present Bullish Timelines

Meanwhile, Google’s Gemini AI presented a similar view but first focused on the key drivers that could push XRP’s value higher. It pointed to regulatory clarity, growing partnerships with financial institutions, and the possibility of XRP ETFs as major catalysts.

Gemini also highlighted broader crypto market trends, the growing utility of the XRP Ledger, and global economic conditions as important factors.

If everything goes right, Gemini believes XRP could potentially hit $50 as early as 2025 to 2027. That outlook depends on major wins like favorable regulation and strong institutional backing.

For $150, Gemini predicts a possible window between 2030 and 2035, assuming XRP becomes a widely used tool in the global financial system. However, the $250 milestone may only be possible between 2035 and 2040 or beyond, and only if XRP achieves widespread global adoption and integration.

Exchange platform Changelly had a similar outlook. It expects XRP to reach $50 by June 2033, with a possible peak just above that level. Changelly sees XRP climbing to $150 sometime between 2034 and 2040 and possibly reaching $250 by 2040.

Bitcoin Defies Major Bearish Pattern: Top Analyst Identifies This Move as Key Trait of Any Uptrend

0

The bullish Bitcoin momentum saw it defy a major bearish pattern on the daily chart, raising confidence of a continued upward trajectory.

Bitcoin has again demonstrated strength over the past few days. Notably, a wave of corrective momentum kicked in on Tuesday, sparking a three-day downtrend, during which the crypto leader corrected by 4%.

Much of the Thursday retracement emerged following market skepticism from an unrelated war of words between US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk. The tension saw Bitcoin briefly touch $100,000 before bulls stepped in again and pushed prices back up.

Price Rebound Nullifies Bullish Structure

However, Frank Cappelleri, a top analyst and CEO of CappThesis, identified a bullish development worth noting on the BTC/USDT 1D chart. Specifically, Bitcoin’s reversal has just defied a major bearish structure with its 4.5% bounce from Thursday’s lows of $100,430.

An elaborate accompanying chart shows that Bitcoin broke down from the base of a head-and-shoulders pattern with its June 5 dump. The structure has been shaping up since last month, with May 12’s high of $105,720 forming the left shoulder.

Bitcoin Head and Shoulders Pattern | Cappelleri

Furthermore, the head formed when Bitcoin hit its all-time high of $111,200 on May 22, with the right shoulder of $106,843 on June 3 completing the bearish pattern. Following the formation of this structure, analysts expect BTC to begin a downward trend once it breaks below the neckline.

Interestingly, the premier asset broke down from the structure’s base two days ago, confirming the beginning of the downtrend.

Nonetheless, Bitcoin’s rebound has pushed prices above the base again, with Cappelleri suggesting that it might have defied the bearish trend. The top analyst noted that the trend indicates a key characteristic of an uptrend, insisting that BTC has not yet exhausted its bullish momentum.

Bitcoin Fakeout Suggests a Breakout Is Imminent

Moreover, a parallel tweet identifies a new perspective on Bitcoin’s recent price action. Merlijn The Trader shared today that the asset is on the cusp of breaking out after temporarily shaking off weak hands with a fakeout.

Bitcoin Breakout | Merlijn The Trader

For context, Bitcoin has been trending within a bullish pennant formation since May 9 on the 12-hour timeframe. However, with prices getting tighter within the wedge, Thursday’s 3% correction saw a fake drop below the triangle, temporarily defying the bullish structure.

Nonetheless, Bitcoin has reclaimed the triangle and now eyes an upward break to unprecedented prices. Specifically, his chart shows a possible 10.2% rally to $116,000, a new all-time high.

Expert Says They’ll All Come Back Once XRP Surpasses $10

As XRP has remained around the $2 range longer than many had expected, investors are now looking at historical price action for reassurance.

In a tweet, XRP community commentator CryptoBull highlighted how XRP has consistently defied skeptics and critics who doubted its ability to reclaim significant price levels over the years.

For example, he noted that five years ago, many believed XRP would never rise above $0.50 again. This sentiment was especially strong in 2020 when XRP traded as low as $0.1012 in March of that year. This marked the lowest price since XRP had reached after its all-time high of $3.84 just two years earlier.

This represented a staggering 97.36% decline for investors who bought at the peak of the 2018 frenzy, leading many to write off the asset entirely.

However, that same year, XRP climbed as high as $0.768 by November, before the SEC lawsuit once again wiped out the gains, bringing the price down to $0.17. As a result, skepticism reemerged, but the coin soon began to recover.

In his reflection, CryptoBull recalled that just three years ago, sentiment remained cautious, with many predicting that XRP would never again reach $1. Despite that, XRP hit a high of $1.96 during the 2021 bull run before again giving up its gains.

Sustained Strength Above $2

Despite numerous challenges, XRP has shown remarkable resilience and managed to bounce back. However, the recovery took time. By November 2024, XRP finally confirmed the long-awaited breakout that many analysts had predicted. The coin reached $3.40 in January 2025, before retracing and cooling off from the rally.

Over the past six months, XRP has consistently held above $2. While this level is a significant improvement over the previous trading range near $0.50, it has also become a source of frustration for investors seeking further momentum.

According to CryptoBull, XRP has largely flown under the radar in the broader crypto community due to its recent stagnant performance.

Meanwhile, some believe this may be the last time the crypto market sees XRP near the $2 level, as institutional interest in the coin has increased compared to previous years.

“They’ll All Come Back Once XRP Hits $10”

CryptoBull tweeted a bullish outlook, suggesting that XRP could rise to $10, a massive 360% gain from its current price of $2.18.

He predicted that once XRP reaches this milestone, many former skeptics and critics will return to the conversation and re-enter the market. His forecast reflects the belief that XRP’s growth potential remains strong, even amid lingering doubts in the crypto space.

Others Predicting a $10 XRP

Many other analysts have echoed similar sentiments. Analyst EGRAG recently suggested that XRP could reach $10, $18, and even $27 following a retest of the 21-week EMA, a pattern previously observed before major rallies in 2017 and 2021.

Historically, after breaking above the 21 EMA, XRP has often pulled back to retest support before surging: a 7,085% rise in 2017 and a 425% rally in 2021. A similar breakout occurred in late 2024, pushing XRP to $3.40 before another pullback and consolidation.

EGRAG now views this as a setup for another major move. He forecasts a 425% rise to $10, over 1,000% to $18, and a potential 1,600% surge to $27, possibly by late July or early August 2025, based on past cycle timelines.

Many Still Doubt Tesla-Like XRP 10x to 30x Rally as XRP Follows Tesla’s Early Fall

Analyst EGRAG Crypto confirms that XRP has continued to follow the 2018 Tesla price trajectory, awaiting an explosive surge following the recent pullback.

The market commentator first highlighted this possibility following Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s controversial 60 Minutes interview. For context, the meeting, which occurred last December, was published with some important omissions pertaining to XRP’s legal clarity.

Notably, Garlinghouse and the broader XRP community were not happy with this development, as it presented XRP in the light of an asset still battling with a security label despite Judge Analisa Torres resolving the issue in July 2023.

XRP Trailing TSLA After Ripple CEO’s 60 Minutes Interview

Interestingly, after the meeting aired on Dec. 8, 2024, XRP saw a mild pullback from $2.61 to a low of $1.96 the next day. EGRAG called attention to this pattern, stressing that Tesla stock (TSLA) witnessed a similar price action after Elon Musk appeared on 60 Minutes in 2018.

Specifically, Musk’s 60 Minutes interview aired in December 2018. Shortly after, TLSA stock collapsed considerably from $25.16 to a bottom of $11 sometime in June 2019. However, after this pullback, TSLA recovered, soaring by over 3,400% to a new peak.

XRP Could Follow 2018 Tesla Path EGRAG Crypto
XRP Could Follow 2018 Tesla Path | EGRAG Crypto

EGRAG suggested that XRP would take a similar path. Since Garlinghouse’s 60 Minutes interview, XRP has struggled to maintain its footing. Interestingly, amid this bearish pressure, XRP’s price collapsed to $1.61 by April 7. This marked a nearly 40% drop from the $2.61 price when the 60 Minutes interview aired.

XRP Already Down Like Tesla, EGRAG Expects Massive Recovery

In his latest analysis, EGRAG confirmed that XRP has already observed the sort of collapse Tesla witnessed. According to him, it took Tesla six months to hit the bottom and another six months to recover fully to new highs.

The analyst pointed out that despite XRP already observing the Tesla-like collapse, many still doubt that it would record an uptrend similar to the one Tesla witnessed. For context, if XRP rallies 30x from the April 2025 floor of $1.61, this would push its price to a new peak of $48.3 by November 2021.

Meanwhile, a more modest growth of 10x would lead to a value of $16.1, still representing a new all-time high. For the 20x uptick, XRP would reach a price of $32. EGRAG called for patience, insisting that the market will soon see massive multipliers. Interestingly, analyst CrediBULL also predicts XRP to claim the $32 price.

Currently, XRP changes hands at $2.18, having recovered from a drop to retest the $2 mark two days back. The asset trades flat this month, caught in a consolidation since March. In a previous analysis, EGRAG suggested that XRP recovering the $2.65 level would mark the final go-go signal for a price explosion.

XRP Holders Await as June 16 Looms in Ripple vs. SEC Case

0

XRP community members are bracing for the next chapter of the SEC v. Ripple case, particularly as the expiration of a key deadline approaches.

The lawsuit between the SEC and Ripple has been ongoing for more than four years, with no clear end date in sight. In the meantime, a major court deadline is fast approaching, which could determine the next phase of the longstanding legal tussle.

June 15 Deadline

For context, the deadline relates to the expiration of the 60-day temporary pause granted by the Second Circuit in the Ripple case. As previously reported, the parties jointly requested a 60-day stay on April 10, 2025, asking the Second Circuit to temporarily pause the lawsuit while they work toward a potential resolution.

The request came days after the parties reached a verbal agreement to withdraw their appeals. Under the agreement, Ripple will pay a $50 million fine (down from $125 million), and the parties will vacate the permanent injunction on the company’s future institutional sales of XRP.

Following this agreement, the parties requested a 60-day pause from the court to finalize the settlement. The court granted this request on April 16, setting a deadline of June 15 (often rounded to June 16) for the SEC to file a status report.

SEC’s Status Report

In that report, the SEC would officially update the court on where things stand regarding the resolution. It would indicate whether they still need more time to pursue this goal.

The expiration of the June 15 deadline is fast approaching, and the broader XRP community is eager to know what the parties’ next move might be and how it could impact the case.

Recall that Judge Analisa Torres denied the parties’ motion for an indicative ruling on the settlement agreement. This decision posed a significant challenge to resolving the Ripple case.

The parties are yet to re-file another motion for an indicative ruling. Nonetheless, June 15 remains a critical date, as the SEC’s status report would determine the next phase of the case.

It is clear that the SEC and Ripple are eager for a resolution that would bring the case to a close. Therefore, they are likely to express their commitment to a settlement in the upcoming status report, due June 15.

Here’s Where Pundit Sees XRP Price Heading by the End of 2025

A prominent XRP community commentator has predicted what the XRP price could be by the end of this year, 2025.

Despite this ongoing bearish atmosphere, market commentators like Edoardo Farina believe XRP still has more upside potential this year. Notably, in his recent commentary, he highlighted XRP’s current market position and presented predictions for the asset in the foreseeable future.

Farina Predicts XRP Price for June and EOY

At the time, XRP traded for $2.3, a fact Farina highlighted. While this position marked a 30% drop from XRP’s yearly peak of $3.3, it was still an 11% gain year-to-date. However, investors believe XRP could do much better than this.

According to Farina, by next month, June, XRP has the potential to surpass the $3 price mark again. Recall that XRP initially claimed $3 in late 2017, eventually soaring to the ATH of $3.8. However, after dropping below this mark, it took the asset six years to reclaim $3, specifically in January 2025.

Now, XRP has again relinquished the $3 price level, struggling to recover it amid massive bearish pressure. Farina believes XRP will eventually reclaim the much-coveted price mark in June.

Meanwhile, Farina sees XRP soaring further before this year ends. The Alpha Lions Academy founder suggests that the price will rally to $10 by the end of the year. Currently trading for $2.13, XRP would need to surge by about 370% to reach this $10 price.

Further Predictions Around XRP to $10

Interestingly, other analysts believe a $10 value is attainable for XRP. In April, Elliott Wave expert XForceGlobal suggested that XRP was on the verge of a breakout to $10. In March, Cas Abbé highlighted three factors that could propel an XRP price rise to $10, including XRP ETF approval.

However, industry experts like Bitget’s Ryan Lee believe XRP could only reach $10 within an extended timeframe, specifically by 2030. Analysts at crypto platform Changelly hold similar views, predicting a possible rally to $10 by 2029, not the end of this year like Farina suggested.

Meanwhile, market analyst Crypto Patel might be looking at a shorter timeframe. He recently highlighted six reasons he believes XRP will reach $10 soon. Specifically, the first reason is the regulatory clarity surrounding XRP.

For the second reason, he pointed to XRP’s bullish chart, particularly the strong support at $1.7. He then called attention to ETF approval as the third reason. Further, Crypto Patel mentioned the looming altcoin season as another catalyst that could push XRP to $10.

In addition to these factors, the analyst highlighted the growing adoption of the Ripple stablecoin (RLUSD) as the fifth reason he sees XRP hitting $10. Lastly, the sixth reason pertains to XRP’s uptick, amounting to 50%, above his earlier entry point.

Holding 1.8M XRP to Turn Into $10M: Here’s How

A veteran crypto trader has revealed a substantial XRP position, indicating his bullish stance toward XRP, as he anticipates his holdings will reach $10 million.

This disclosure, which came from pseudonymous market participant Crypto Beast, emerges at a time when XRP is struggling to maintain its footing above the $2 mark. Despite losing the $2.2 support this week, XRP has observed a recovery push, now trading at $2.17.

Amid the growing uncertainty, Crypto Beast remains unfazed. He confirmed in his latest commentary that he never sold his XRP tokens. The trader made this decision to HODL despite buying XRP before its November 2024 upsurge.

Trader Anticipates His XRP Position to Hit $10M

Data from an accompanying graphic confirms that Crypto Beast holds 1,832,844 (1.83 million) XRP tokens. Interestingly, he purchased these assets at an average net cost of $0.836, confirming that the purchase occurred before November 2024.

Now, despite XRP soaring beyond $3 to a new seven-year peak in mid-January, Crypto Beast held onto his tokens, stressing that he never sold. At the time of his disclosure, the tokens, which he procured for a total of $1.532 million, were worth $3.915 million, presenting returns of $2.382 million.

XRP Position by Crypto Beast
XRP Position by Crypto Beast

This indicates that XRP traded for $2.13 when he made his disclosure. Crypto Beast confirmed that the reason he has not sold despite seeing over $2 million in profit is that he has a higher target, which he expects XRP to push toward.

According to the trader, his target for his XRP investment is $10 million. Specifically, for the 1.832 million XRP holding to reach this worth, the XRP price would need to soar to $5.45. This would mark a meager 151% increase from the current price of $2.17. Crypto Beast promised to keep his audience updated on the position.

The Appeal of Simply HODLing

Notably, the investment holds no risk of liquidation, as the trader maintains it on the spot market. As a result, even if XRP collapses to $1, he has the option of HODLing through the storm until the asset appreciates to his upside target. The only requirement for such a position is patience.

This is in contrast to the leveraged positions held by other experienced traders such as James Wynn, who recently lost $100 million in the Bitcoin futures market. For the uninitiated, James Wynn, renowned for turning a $7,000 PEPE investment into $25 million, recently revealed his high-leverage Bitcoin trade on Hyperliquid.

However, the market liquidated the $1.25 billion long position when Bitcoin (BTC) saw a rapid decline after hitting the $112K all-time high. This resulted in a $100 million loss for the trader. Days later, he lost $25 million on another Bitcoin long position.

These events indicate how, despite their promise of greater returns on smaller price movements, leveraged positions can lead to catastrophic losses if price action does not favor the trader. This is not the case for Crypto Beast’s position, which simply involves patience during a downturn.

XRP community commentators have charged investors to take a page from this playbook. For instance, Edoardo Farina has advised that market participants purchase just 10,000 XRP and hold for the long haul. He expects prices to soar to levels that could make these 10,000 tokens worth a fortune.

Here’s Why Circle’s Strong IPO Doesn’t Eliminate a Possible Ripple Deal

0

New research indicates that despite Circle’s strong entry into the stock market, there is still potential for Ripple to pursue an acquisition.

Circle’s recent IPO on June 5 made a significant impact on the public market, with its stock price soaring 167% during its debut on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

While rumors surrounding a Ripple acquisition have persisted, it remains unclear whether the blockchain payment firm will move forward with a purchase.

Circle’s IPO and Financial Challenges

Although Circle’s IPO marks a milestone, the company faces considerable financial hurdles. A recent Presto Research report highlights that Circle’s distribution costs account for 60% of its revenue, which significantly impacts its profit margins.

Presto Research
Presto Research

Unlike Coinbase, Circle’s revenue model is more dependent on stock and is sensitive to fluctuations in interest rates. This differs from a more traditional crypto exchange model and may make Circle a less attractive investment for those betting on the growth of stablecoin adoption.

Meanwhile, Circle’s S-1 filing revealed that it had previously explored merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities with both Coinbase and Ripple. However, those talks did not follow through due to disagreements over pricing. Presto Research suggests that the public market’s price discovery process could narrow these differences and potentially revive M&A discussions.

Additionally, Circle’s shift towards traditional finance could attract other potential buyers, particularly as major financial institutions explore the issuance of their own stablecoins.

Ripple’s Position on Acquisition Rumors

Recall that Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently addressed speculation surrounding the acquisition of Circle at the XRP Las Vegas conference. He denied the claim that Ripple offered $10 to $20 billion for Circle.

Garlinghouse’s comments confirmed that while Ripple may have engaged in acquisition discussions, no offer of that magnitude was made. The CEO also pointed out that he is “unable to pre-announce” any potential acquisition plans.

Despite these denials, Circle has also rejected any claims regarding plans to sell itself to Ripple. The company’s spokesperson reiterated that Circle remains focused on achieving its long-term goals and has not pursued any acquisition deals, but this spokesperson remains anonymous.

Analyst Views on Potential Acquisition

Amid these developments, some analysts believe Circle could be a valuable acquisition target for major players in the industry. Chamath Palihapitiya, a prominent investor, recently suggested that buying Circle for $12 to $13 billion would be a bargain, considering the company’s infrastructure and its potential value in the coming years.

With Circle’s IPO being 25 times oversubscribed, Palihapitiya views the stablecoin issuer’s assets as highly undervalued. He believes that companies like Ripple, Coinbase, and others in the fintech space may compete for dominance in the stablecoin market, making Circle an attractive acquisition target.

However, there are no confirmed reports that Coinbase is pursuing such a deal, although rumors suggest ongoing discussions.

Trump Media Registers $12 Billion in New Securities Amid Bitcoin Acquisition Plans

0

Trump Media and Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social, has filed to register up to $12 billion in new securities following Bitcoin acquisition plans.

This move, disclosed in a recent S-3 filing, marks another significant step for the company, which recently concluded a $2.3 billion Bitcoin treasury deal.

The filing reveals plans to issue up to 84.6 million shares of common stock. However, the offering will not take effect until the SEC grants approval.

Bitcoin Treasury Deal and Future Acquisitions

Trump Media’s decision to file for additional securities follows its recent involvement in acquiring Bitcoin. Last week, the company announced a Bitcoin treasury deal valued at $2.3 billion. This move aims to strengthen Trump Media’s capital position, as well as support its future expansion.

Notably, the company had previously denied reports suggesting it would raise a larger $3 billion fund for Bitcoin investments. Despite this, the current filing indicates the company’s intention to continue acquiring the cryptocurrency. With this, it positions itself alongside other firms like Strategy, which have adopted similar Bitcoin acquisition strategies.

Meanwhile, Trump Media’s growing interest in Bitcoin signals a broader trend among companies exploring ways to integrate the digital currency into their portfolios. Companies such as Marathon Digital and Metaplanet have also engaged in Bitcoin acquisitions.

Interestingly, new entrants have emerged. Specifically, KULR Technology entered the scene in December 2024 with $21 million worth of Bitcoin. Acurx Pharmaceuticals and Hoth Therapeutics also announced plans to acquire BTC this year. In addition, gold mining firm Bluebird recently became the latest entrant.

Expansion Plans and Capital Markets Access

Devin Nunes, the CEO and President of Trump Media, emphasized the company’s focus on securing capital for rapid growth. He mentioned that the capital raised through these initiatives would provide the flexibility needed to acquire valuable assets and increase the company’s customer base.

This, in turn, is expected to enable Trump Media to tap into capital markets when most advantageous. Nunes highlighted that the company’s goal is to ensure financial independence while accelerating its growth trajectory, which is increasingly dependent on acquiring digital assets like Bitcoin.

Furthermore, Trump Media’s involvement in crypto extends beyond just holding Bitcoin. The company is also exploring the launch of a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund, which could expand its presence in the crypto market. This is in line with other companies offering similar financial products related to Bitcoin.
