Michael Saylor: Companies Holding Bitcoin Have a 90% Success Rate in 5 Years, 99% Over 30–40 Years

0

Michael Saylor delivered another passionate speech on Bitcoin, this time emphasizing its extremely low chance of failure if held in one’s balance sheet.

The Strategy executive chairman and Bitcoin evangelist said one can never go wrong holding Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap. In a speech delivered at the 2025 Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas, Saylor emphasized that investing in Bitcoin is unequivocally synonymous with creating life-changing wealth.

Saylor Highlights Two Paths to Wealth

He identified two paths to riches in 2025: one requiring competency and the other involving doing nothing for a long time. With the emergence and growing relevance of artificial intelligence, Saylor told the over 35,000 crypto enthusiasts present at the Las Vegas event that mastering the technology to build real skills is one path to acquiring wealth.

“If you have the humility to ask for help from the AI, don’t put your ego first; put your interest first. Your family will thank you in years to come,” Saylor said.

Meanwhile, the second route to riches is to buy Bitcoin and hold onto it simply. Saylor emphasized that changing the world operationally is tedious, and even the best ideas ultimately fail to succeed.

The Strategy co-founder noted that there is a 90% chance that a new product will fail in the next five years. However, that is not the case with Bitcoin, as keeping the asset on one’s balance sheet has a 90% success rate over the next half-decade.

The situation becomes even more interesting in a longer timeframe. Saylor highlighted that most operational ideas have a 99% failure rate in 30-40 years, a stark contrast to Bitcoin’s long-term proficiency.

“There’s a 99% chance every financial idea that rests upon a foundation of Bitcoin succeeds,” Saylor added.

Interestingly, Bitcoin’s past long-term price trajectory aligns with Saylor’s comments. CoinMarketCap shows that the pioneering cryptocurrency is up over 218 million percent from its lows of $0.048 nearly 15 years ago.

Leveraged Partnership to Create Wealth Faster With Bitcoin

Meanwhile, Saylor applauded solo Bitcoin holders for their efforts to take the orange pill. While he noted that they would become wealthy regardless, the executive chairman highlighted that “cutting others in” would not just increase capital but also returns.

Saylor buttressed his point using a dentist who earns $200,000 a year. He shared that the dentist would buy $1 million worth of Bitcoin if he invested it all in the premier asset.

However, if he incorporates the dental practice and gets his business valued at five times its cash flow, the dentist can sell 33% of his venture for $500,000 and buy Bitcoin.

He can raise an additional $500,000 a year later, at a double market cap, to buy even more Bitcoin. With Bitcoin’s strong performance, his business can raise another $3 million the following year, thereby increasing the firm’s assets and profit by simply sharing the Bitcoin opportunity with others.

Saylor noted that this initiative is what Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) and firms like Metaplanet and Semler Scientific have adopted. With this playbook, Strategy currently holds 580,250 BTC worth $61.2 billion. Meanwhile, Metaplanet holds 7,800 BTC worth $832.5 million, while Semler Scientific boasts 4,264 BTC valued at $450.3 million.

Meanwhile, the list continues to swell as Marathon Digital, GameStop, and soon Trump Media have mirrored the playbook.

Interestingly, the recently concluded 2025 Bitcoin Conference also featured key speeches on Bitcoin. Blockstream’s CEO, Adam Back, said Bitcoin will be worth $1 million in five years; Eric Trump insisted that 0.1 BTC is enough to create a fortune; and US Vice President JD Vance assured that Bitcoin is part of America’s mainstream economy.

“Crypto Is Still Here,” Says CZ as SEC Drops Binance Lawsuit With Prejudice

0

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), former CEO of Binance, has expressed his delight after the U.S. SEC moved to dismiss its lawsuit against both him and the company.

In a social media post, CZ shared an image of former SEC Chair Gary Gensler wearing a red clown nose, injecting a tone of irony into the situation. Alongside the image, CZ wrote, “Crypto is still here,” signaling renewed hope for the industry amid a shifting regulatory stance under the new SEC leadership.

In parallel, Binance expressed gratitude to SEC Chairman Paul Atkins and the Trump administration after the SEC dropped its lawsuit. The company thanked them for opposing regulation through enforcement actions.

SEC Ends Enforcement Action

Importantly, the dismissal was filed with prejudice, preventing the SEC from reopening the case. A Binance spokesperson described the outcome as a landmark moment and credited former SEC Chair Paul Atkins and the Trump administration for a regulatory approach that supports innovation without excessive enforcement.

The SEC’s decision to drop the lawsuit comes after years of allegations that Binance and CZ offered unregistered securities and failed to block U.S. users from the exchange. The regulator also accused Binance of commingling customer funds through a “web of deceit.”

However, the SEC clarified the dismissal was a discretionary policy move and did not represent its position on other crypto-related cases.

Regulatory Shift Following Years of Legal Pressure

This lawsuit followed a period of intense scrutiny under SEC Chair Gary Gensler, who led aggressive enforcement actions against crypto firms. Gensler’s SEC alleged that Binance and other companies sold unregistered securities as digital tokens.

However, several high-profile cases have been dropped since Paul Atkins assumed the SEC chairmanship under the Trump administration. The SEC’s softened stance is also reflected in other recent dismissals, such as cases against Coinbase and inquiries into PayPal’s PYUSD stablecoin.

Separately, Binance pleaded guilty in 2023 to federal anti-money laundering and sanctions violations, resulting in a $4.32 billion penalty. CZ served a four-month prison sentence and was released in September 2024.

New SEC Leadership Calls for Regulatory Clarity

Notably, Paul Atkins, the new SEC Chair, has outlined a strategy to evolve the commission’s approach to crypto regulation. He advocates shifting focus from enforcement to clearer rulemaking tailored to decentralized blockchain assets.

Atkins emphasized building regulatory frameworks compatible with crypto’s decentralized nature while protecting investors. The SEC is reviewing issuance guidelines, aiming to encourage compliance through clarity rather than enforcement. This marks a distinct change from the previous administration’s aggressive regulatory posture.

Here’s What Can Push XRP Price to $13 or $22

EGRAG Crypto, a prominent analyst, has identified a bullish engulfing candle pattern consistent on the yearly XRP chart, projecting an imminent rally.

His recent analysis comes on the back of what he believes is market “noise,” as XRP continues to consolidate around $2. For context, after reaching a peak of $2.65 on May 12, XRP has continued to observe losses, now stuck at the lower range of the $2 level.

Despite the bearish pressure, analysts like EGRAG believe the asset still has massive potential, calling attention to several bullish indicators on its chart across multiple timeframes. In the latest commentary, he leveraged the 12-month timeframe.

XRP Bullish Engulfing Candles

According to EGRAG, XRP has been witnessing bullish engulfing candles since its fifth yearly candlestick in 2017. For the uninitiated, a bullish engulfing pattern contains two candlesticks: the first is a small red (bearish) candle, and the second is a larger green (bullish) candle that fully covers the body of the one before it.

Notably, this formation often indicates that a downward trend may be shifting toward an upward move. EGRAG’s chart indicates that the first bullish engulfing pattern on the XRP yearly chart involved a small -0.68% red candle in 2016 and a subsequent large +33,066% green candle in 2017.

EGRAG says this pattern has continued throughout XRP’s history, playing out again for Candle 12 in 2024. The analyst indicated that the larger the timeframe for such a bullish signal, the greater the potential impact. As a result, an appearance on the yearly sign is “bullish as hell.”

XRP to Observe 13th Candle Breakout

Interestingly, amid the persistence of this pattern across several yearly candles, EGRAG believes the 13th XRP yearly candle might lead to impressive gains following the recent engulfing candle. Specifically, this 13th candle pertains to the current bull year, 2025, which is already showing a 6.53% gain at press time.

To present price targets for this projected growth, the market analyst turned to historical data. He cited the upsurge from Candle 9 in 2021, which led to an impressive 800% rise.

The analyst expects Candle 13 to replicate this rally. Interestingly, a repeat of the 800% increase would push the asset to a price of $17.

XRP Price Target EGRAG Crypto

However, EGRAG’s chart also features three ascending lines that have dictated XRP’s price movements in terms of extreme price movements. Notably, one of these lines has served as support over the years, while two of them, specifically Lines 1 and 2, have acted as resistance.

XRP Price Targets and Market Noise

Interestingly, the $17 target from the Candle 13 upsurge lies perfectly between Lines 1 and 2. According to EGRAG, Line 1 lies on the $13 price, while Line 2 syncs with the $22 price. As a result, the analyst expects Candle 13 to push prices to $13 or $22, aligning with the resistance on one of these lines.

Meanwhile, as traders await this run, EGRAG suggested that XRP trading between $1.85 and $3.4 is market noise. Currently, XRP changes hands at $2.21. According to him, if the asset closes below $1.85, the current bull run is over. However, if it closes above $3.4, its price is on the verge of reaching double digits.

Cardano to $10 Is Cooking: Top Analyst Shares 5 Ingredients for a 1,233% Rally in 2025

0

Cardano could be up for a rally to double digits, with an analyst highlighting major catalysts for the uptrend, primed to happen this year.

The Cardano community is buzzing following the recent breakthrough. Bitcoin DeFi is now live on Cardano, with Lace Wallet rolling out a protocol that allows Bitcoin users to access decentralized finance functionalities directly within their wallet.

Meanwhile, ADA’s price has yet to react to this positive sentiment. The blue-chip crypto asset is down 7.2% in the past seven days, continuing its sideways trend today. Nonetheless, market watchers remain confident that Cardano still has more left in the tank this year.

Cardano Heading to $10

Specifically, experienced market trader and Cardano stake pool operator Ssebi has suggested that ADA is on track to achieve a double-digit valuation this year. In a May 28 X post, he shared five possible catalysts for Cardano to rally 1,233% to $10 in 2025.

First, he mentioned Cardano’s leading position in unlocking DeFi on Bitcoin as a notable ingredient for a price explosion. As mentioned earlier, the Cardano ecosystem has been working diligently to provide a bridge that allows Bitcoin holders to utilize their idle assets.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson deems the innovation a massive win for both ecosystems, insisting it will unlock trillions of dollars in liquidity for Cardano, pushing its total value locked (TVL) to four times that of Solana and Ethereum combined. Notably, Ssebi shares a similar sentiment with Hoskinson.

Furthermore, the SPO identified another cross-chain opening that would push ADA to $10. The imminent Midnight airdrop, available to asset holders across multiple chains, including XRP, is expected to attract 37 million users to Cardano, potentially catalyzing an ADA uptrend.

Institutional Adoption to Fuel Rally

Prominent asset manager Grayscale recently filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to convert its Cardano Trust into a spot ETF, becoming the first to seek approval to launch a traditional investment vehicle tracking ADA’s price action.

The development followed Cardano’s mention among the five coins that would make up the US strategic crypto reserve. The March announcement surprisingly included ADA alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana as assets that the United States would stockpile.

Ssebi highlighted these two developments, which connote institutional traction, as factors that could spur the 1,233% uptick to $10 this year. Lastly, he mentioned that optimism from the Leios upgrade would also contribute to the predicted ADA uptick.

The Leios upgrade, scheduled to go live in 2026, will enhance Cardano’s throughput and processing capabilities. It would make the blockchain one of the fastest, with a theoretical transaction speed of up to 11,000 transactions per second (TPS). The fork would also introduce a parallel block processing system, replacing the single-block structure with a capability that processes multiple transactions simultaneously.

Other Cardano to $10 Predictions

Interestingly, other analysts have also forecasted that the 1,233% rally to $10 is on the horizon. For context, popular YouTuber The Modern Investor stated that Cardano at $10 is very possible, citing some bullish fundamental developments mentioned by Hoskinson.

Cardano bull Dan Gambardello also predicted a rally to $10, insisting that a developing cup and handle pattern on ADA’s 1D chart would fuel the uptrend to the new price high.

ADA trades at $0.75 at the time of writing.

Data Shows Long-Term Bitcoin Holders Refuse to Sell; Soon No BTC Will Be Left for Latecomers

0

A recent report shows that long-term Bitcoin holders are not selling at current prices, and soon, there will not be enough BTC left for those who join the market late.

Over the past week, Bitcoin’s price movement remained tightly compressed, yet data reveals a distinct accumulation trend from seasoned investors. Across the last seven days, the cryptocurrency registered a 3.02% overall price drop. Notably, from May 24 to May 27, BTC fluctuated between $106,000 and $111,000 without establishing a firm directional breakout.

Long-Term Holders Add Over 1.39 Million BTC

Despite the price consolidation, Bitcoin Magazine Pro data shows that long-term holders (LTHs) have continued to accumulate BTC at a historic pace. Between March 3 and May 25, 2025, the total LTH supply increased from 14,354,038 BTC to 15,739,438 BTC. This reflects a net gain of over 1.39 million BTC in under three months.

Bitcoin Long-Term Holder Supply

Historical cycles offer further context. During previous bull markets in 2013, 2017, and 2021, LTH supply typically declined as holders moved assets into circulation to capitalize on higher prices.

However, the current trend diverges from this pattern, with accumulation continuing despite elevated price levels. Notably, brief declines in LTH supply during May 2024 and March 2025 did not disrupt the broader upward trajectory in holdings.

Analysts at Bitcoin Magazine Pro note in an X post that the market’s most experienced participants are not willing to sell at current price levels. They warn that continued accumulation may soon reduce available Bitcoin for late entrants.

Majority of Bitcoin Holders Are in Profit

Supporting this accumulation narrative, on-chain analysis from IntoTheBlock offers further insight into address-level positioning. Based on the price of $107,675.94, approximately 95.88% of all BTC, totaling 19.07 million coins, are currently “In the Money.”

Additionally, 703,180 BTC, or 3.53% of supply, are classified “At the Money,” representing recent buyers who entered during the current price range.

Only 115,600 BTC, or 0.58% of the total supply, are considered “Out of the Money,” suggesting minimal unrealized losses. This marginal figure indicates that most BTC holders acquired their coins at lower prices.

Volatility Persists but Resistance Appears Limited

Although Bitcoin continues to exhibit choppy recovery attempts, recent data indicates limited downside pressure from current holders. The minimal amount of BTC at a loss implies a relatively low selling risk near present levels.

Meanwhile, the presence of roughly 703,000 BTC in neutral price territory reflects a cluster of participants awaiting further movement. With experienced investors continuing to accumulate and most holders in profit, market behavior remains data-driven, showing little indication of widespread selling.

Bitcoin Price Prediction Amid High Demand

With continuous accumulation and minimal pressure, industry commentators are projecting ambitious outlooks for Bitcoin. For instance, at Bitcoin Conference 2025, Eric Trump predicted that Bitcoin could surge to $150K to $170K by the end of 2026.

He cited surging demand, especially from sovereign wealth funds and institutions, outpacing a shrinking supply. Trump noted that fewer Bitcoin are available on OTC desks and exchanges, making it harder for companies like Metaplanet to acquire the asset.

“Everybody wants Bitcoin, and no one wants to sell,” he said.

Nic Puckrin Says Bitcoin Volatility Looming Ahead of $10B Options Expiry

0

Nic Puckrin highlighted that Bitcoin is currently struggling, potentially due to the massive options expiry scheduled for tomorrow, with volatility expected.

Bitcoin (BTC) has been trading in a tight range between $106,000 and $110,000 from May 24 to May 27, showing no clear directional breakout. By May 29, BTC modestly rebounded to around $108,000-$109,000, still below the week’s peak, while the price stood at $107,782.

Despite a moderate 3% decline over the week, mid- and long-term trends remain bullish. However, the looming options expiry on May 30 has injected uncertainty into the market, signaling potential volatility in the near term.

Options Expiry and Open Interest Analysis

Notably, Nic Puckrin, CEO and co-founder of Coin Bureau, recently highlighted how Bitcoin is currently struggling, potentially due to the massive options expiry scheduled for tomorrow. He also noted the significant open interest ahead of the expiry.

Image

According to his analysis, a total of 92,932 contracts remain open, with 49,593 calls and 43,339 puts. This results in a put/call ratio of 0.87, reflecting slightly more calls than puts, which can suggest bullish sentiment. The combined notional value of these contracts reaches an enormous $10 billion, underlining the financial magnitude of this expiry.

The open interest clusters notably between the $95,000 and $110,000 strike prices. These strikes hold “high delta” options that are near or at the money, making them more reactive to price movements.

The chart also points to a max pain price around $100,000, where options holders are likely to experience the greatest losses if the price settles there. Market makers may push BTC towards this level to minimize payouts.

Meanwhile, calls concentrate near $110,000 and puts near $95,000, indicating a tug-of-war in expectations around the $100,000 mark. Puckrin indicated that heightened volatility could unfold in the coming hours.

Derivatives Market and Trader Positioning

Meanwhile, derivatives data reveals rising trading activity amid these developments. Bitcoin’s overall trading volume increased by 10.82%, hitting $109.3 billion. Total open interest slightly declined by 1.14% to $77.68 billion, but options open interest specifically rose by 2.12% to $49.7 billion, consistent with the growing positioning in the options market.

Screenshot 2025 05 29T175303946
Bitcoin Derivatives Data Analysis

Trader behavior shows a nearly balanced long-to-short ratio of 0.9716 across exchanges, leaning mildly toward short positions. Despite this balance, liquidations tell a different story. In the last 24 hours, liquidations totaled nearly $97 million, with longs accounting for $80.75 million and shorts $16.12 million.

The BTC OI-weighted funding rate chart shows mostly positive funding rates since early May, with the green areas above zero indicating that longs are paying shorts. This typically means there are more leveraged long positions in the market.

Generally, positive funding rates suggest bullish sentiment because traders are willing to pay a premium to hold long positions. However, very high or sustained positive funding rates can sometimes signal an overheated market, which could lead to corrections due to liquidations.

‘We Fired Gary Gensler; We’ll Fire Everyone Like Him’: VP JD Vance Declares Bitcoin Place in the American Economy

In a fiery and unapologetically pro-crypto speech at the Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas, U.S. Vice President JD Vance declared an end to regulatory hostility toward digital assets.

He reaffirmed the administration’s full support for crypto, particularly Bitcoin. Speaking to an audience of developers, investors, and industry leaders, Vance emphasized a new era of cooperation between Washington and the crypto world under the Trump administration.

“Crypto Finally Has a Champion in the White House”

First, Vance expressed gratitude to prominent figures in the crypto ecosystem, including the Winklevoss twins and event organizer David Bailey. He credited them with helping shift the political winds in favor of Bitcoin, particularly in tech-forward communities like Silicon Valley.

“Crypto finally has a champion and an ally in the White House,” Vance proclaimed, drawing a contrast with the previous administration’s approach. He went on to announce a sweeping rejection of earlier regulatory enforcement tactics targeting the crypto space.

“We Fired Gary Gensler…”

Specifically, Vance asserted that Operation Chokepoint 2.0 is dead and will not return under the Trump administration. He proudly declared that they had fired former SEC Chair Gary Gensler, who tendered his resignation on the same day as the Trump administration’s inauguration.

Vance emphasized that Gensler, notorious for his hostility toward crypto, would not be the last of his kind to face such consequences. “We’re going to fire everyone like him,” he declared to loud applause.

“The game they played under the pretense of consumer protection was to attack every single effort to democratize our financial markets. That is over,” Vance said.

The vice president framed the Trump administration’s ongoing actions as part of a campaign to dismantle regulatory overreach and “end the weaponization of federal regulations against the crypto community.”

Indeed, this campaign is becoming effective. Several federal agencies, including the FED, have rolled back previous restrictions on crypto engagement.

“Bitcoin Is Here to Stay”

Vance also laid out a multi-step policy agenda to provide the crypto industry with clarity and support. One of his major highlights was the GENIUS Act, a bill to establish a legal framework for stablecoins. The bill has gained bipartisan support and is currently awaiting a full Senate vote, with strong optimism for its passage.

Beyond stablecoins, Vance stated that the administration wants Americans to know that crypto, especially Bitcoin, is now a part of the mainstream economy and is here to stay. This affirms the administration’s long-term commitment to integrating digital currencies into the broader financial system.

In his closing remarks, Vance urged the crypto community to maintain political momentum beyond 2024. He warned that the industry’s future depends on continued civic involvement.

“Don’t ignore politics, because I guarantee you politics is not going to ignore this community,” he said. “Not now, and not in the future.”

Gemini Mines Bitcoin with a Tesla Cybertruck

At the ongoing Bitcoin 2025 Conference, Gemini presented a live demonstration that combined electric vehicle technology and Bitcoin mining.

The company showcased a Tesla Cybertruck “Cyberbeast” edition, wrapped in a custom Bitcoin-themed vinyl, mining Bitcoin on-site using a Bitaxe device. The display was part of a broader marketing campaign around a sweepstakes promotion.

Gemini Mines Bitcoin with a Cybertruck

Specifically, Gemini’s demonstration showed how a Cybertruck, which boasts an 845-horsepower tri-motor system and 11,000-pound towing capacity, could double as a mobile mining rig.

Interestingly, behind this mining operation was a Bitaxe, a compact, energy-efficient Bitcoin miner. This specific model was developed by Solo Satoshi, a provider of home-based Bitcoin mining solutions.

The model used in the demo was the Bitaxe Gamma. Interestingly, the miner connects via Wi-Fi, operates quietly, and is designed for easy setup, making it suitable for at-home and portable mining.

The demo was a product of Gemini’s partnership with Solo Satoshi at the conference. Solo Satoshi builds open-source mining hardware for individuals. The company reported over 10,000 miners sold last month, contributing more than 10 petahashes (PH) of total global hashpower.

Gemini’s Cybertruck Sweepstakes

Meanwhile, the demonstration was part of Gemini’s Cybertruck sweepstakes, open to U.S. residents aged 18 and older. The promotion, running from May 19 to June 18, 2025, offers two winners a Tesla Cybertruck “Cyberbeast” edition, each valued at about $113,735.

Winners will also receive a $2,000 travel stipend for picking up the vehicle and a cash prize to help cover taxes. Notably, entrants earn one entry for every $50 spent on the Gemini Credit Card or traded on the Gemini Exchange.

Each person can accumulate up to 20,000 entries, with a maximum of 10,000 from card use, 10,000 from trading activity, or through alternate methods of entry.

Bitcoin Mining Trends in 2025

Meanwhile, the marketing push arrives at a time of major changes in the Bitcoin mining sector. The April 2024 halving slashed mining rewards from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC, leading to a drop in profit margins.

Last month, the hashprice, a measure of revenue per terahash per second, dropped to $0.049, down from $0.12 the year before. Meanwhile, network difficulty reached an all-time high of 123 trillion, requiring more energy-efficient setups to remain profitable.

Despite challenges, the global hashrate continues to climb. As of this month, the network’s total hashrate hit 831 exahashes per second (EH/s), with peaks reaching 921 EH/s earlier in the month.

This marks a 77% increase from the 2024 low of 519 EH/s, due to new hardware deployments and rising Bitcoin prices. For context, Bitcoin recently claimed a new all-time high close to $112,000, and some analysts expect it to reach $225,000 later in 2025.

Ripple Chairman Applauds Bitcoin Transition to 50% Renewable Energy Milestone

0

Ripple’s chairman, Chris Larsen, commends Bitcoin’s energy transition over the past few years, following the company’s symbolic gesture to the BTC community.

In an X post yesterday, Larsen reacted to Ripple’s donation of the ‘Skull of Satoshi’ artwork to the Bitcoin community at the ongoing 2025 BTC conference.

For context, the “Skull of Satoshi” artwork was initially created to advocate for Bitcoin’s shift from its energy-intensive proof-of-work (PoW) algorithm to more sustainable alternatives.

The artwork, designed by Canadian artist Benjamin Von Wong, was part of Larsen’s ‘Change the Code, Not the Climate’ campaign, which he single-handedly funded in 2023.

Larsen Reflects on His Failed Change the Code Campaign

Hours after Ripple donated the Skull of Satoshi to the Bitcoin community, Larsen reflected on the ‘Change the Code’ campaign.

Launched in 2023, the campaign aimed to promote the adoption of a more energy-efficient mechanism for Bitcoin, rather than the energy-intensive Proof-of-Work (PoW) algorithm. Despite expecting the campaign to ‘turn Bitcoin into an air accelerator for direct air capture,’ Larsen said it did not achieve the desired result.

Notably, he emphasized that he funded the entire campaign, adding that Ripple did not make any financial contribution.

Bitcoin Energy Improvement

While the Change the Code campaign failed to achieve its desired result, Bitcoin still made significant energy improvements, according to Larsen.

He commended Bitcoin’s energy transition over the past few years. Citing data from a recent Cambridge study, Larsen claims that 50% of Bitcoin’s energy now comes from renewable sources, including wind, hydropower, and nuclear power.

Additionally, he highlighted the use of wasted energy, like trapped and flared gas, to power Bitcoin mining activities. The Ripple chairman described Bitcoin’s energy transition as remarkable.

Furthermore, he expressed excitement about the presentation of the artwork, noting that it serves as a symbol of innovation and environmental stewardship.

Ripple CEO Calls for Unity

Meanwhile, Larsen’s statement comes hours after Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse commented on the Skull of Satoshi donation. The Ripple CEO portrayed the donation as a peace offering to the Bitcoin community following a longstanding feud between the BTC and XRP camps.

In his view, all crypto communities, including XRP and Bitcoin, have more in common than people realize. Instead of pursuing self-centered interests, Garlinghouse called on the broader crypto community to unite and move the industry forward.

The goal is to help the crypto industry achieve regulatory clarity, drive innovation, and extend financial services to the unbanked and underbanked.

Shiba Inu Says It Has Only One Mission: Here’s What It Is

0

The official X handle of the Shiba Inu ecosystem has revealed the only mission of the canine-themed cryptocurrency project.

Notably, this came yesterday in reaction to a tweet from a community figure, Etherscan_Shib. The community figure asserted that the Shiba Inu ecosystem is stronger than ever, as evidenced by the growing number of holders for SHIB, BONE, and LEASH.

Referencing on-chain data, the user claimed there are now over 1.5 million SHIB holders, more than 95,000 BONE holders, and over 30,000 LEASH holders. Despite these multiple tokens, Etherscan_Shib noted that these holders are part of one community–Shiba Inu.

Shiba Inu Only Mission

Reacting to the post, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team highlighted its sole mission: domination. Shiba Inu aims to dominate the market, positioning itself among other major cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Notably, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team aims to achieve this goal by driving trading volumes into the billions and growing the ShibArmy to several million. The project believes that by accomplishing these feats, it could become a dominant force in the crypto market.

Shiba Inu’s Community and Volume Spotlight

For context, Shiba Inu has a strong community that has contributed immensely to the widespread adoption of its ecosystem tokens. It currently has approximately 3.93 million followers on X.

Many consider this feat commendable, particularly for a cryptocurrency project like Shiba Inu, which initially began as a meme. Since its launch, it has become a dominant force, reaching a $40 billion valuation during its peak. This achievement demonstrates Shiba Inu’s unexpected influence and resilience in the broader crypto market.

In the meantime, the combined trading volume of Shiba Inu’s ecosystem tokens — SHIB, LEASH, TREAT, and BONE — has fallen below $1 billion over the past day.

Data from CoinMarketCap shows a combined volume of around $250 million. It is worth noting that Shiba Inu’s trading volume had previously surged above $1 billion.

Earlier this month, community member Shib Bezos revealed that the trading volume of SHIB alone spiked to $48 billion within 10 days.

Although SHIB’s volume has dropped to around $220 million, the team aspires to push it and that of other ecosystem tokens to billions of dollars.

Kusama Aims to Take SHIB to Top 5

This goal aligns with a similar vision shared by Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, last year. At the time, Kusama revealed plans to ensure SHIB ranks among the top 5 cryptos in the market by 2029. Notably, SHIB is currently in position 16 and has been in the top 10 before.

Kusama suggested reaching the top 5 would be accomplished by giving SHIB utility and stripping it of its meme coin tag. Interestingly, the team has made significant efforts toward transitioning SHIB from a meme coin to a utility project. It has introduced several projects into its ecosystem, ranging from a decentralized exchange and games to its L2 scaling solution, Shibarium.
