This On-Chain Metric Signals the Start of a Bitcoin Bull Market: Details

0

Bitcoin sits at a key decision point as an on-chain metric signals early bull market conditions.

Bitcoin experienced a short pullback after briefly crossing $97,000 on May 2, dipping to just under $94,000—reflecting a 3-4% retracement from the recent peak. Despite this short-term movement, analysts suggest deeper on-chain indicators are beginning to paint a more pivotal picture of market direction.

While the 7-day and 24-hour returns indicate marginal declines of -0.1% and -1.0% respectively, the longer-term data remains strong, with gains of 8.0% over the past 14 days and 13.3% over the past 30 days.

Composite Index Signals Early Bull Market Phase

Amid this performance, momentum metrics have shifted focus to the Bitcoin Composite Index v2.0, a tool that blends on-chain and price-based indicators to assess market sentiment.

According to analyst Constantin Kogan, the current reading of 0.8 on the index mirrors historical conditions seen at the beginning of past bull runs. Data shows that when this threshold has been breached and maintained, it has often preceded significant upward price moves.

Notably, the “Running ATH Price” line within the index has started to trend upward, indicating rising investor confidence. The index approaching the critical 1.0 level could mark a transition toward stronger bullish momentum. If Bitcoin sustains above this zone, historical data suggests it could enter a rally phase similar to the parabolic rises in 2017 and 2021.

Under such a scenario, the analyst indicates a potential price target range of $150,000 to $175,000. However, if the index remains between 0.8 and 1.0, Bitcoin may instead enter a consolidation phase between $90,000 and $110,000.

Meanwhile, a drop below 0.75 could lead to a correction toward the $70,000 to $85,000 range, though this is the least probable scenario.

UTXO Data Reveals Crucial Supply Pressure Zone

Another analytical layer emerges through the UTXO Realized Price Distribution (URPD) chart, shared by analyst Checkmate. This tool maps Bitcoin’s supply against the prices at which it was acquired.

ImageThe chart’s histogram shows where BTC was last moved, reflecting investors’ cost bases. The most notable feature is the concentration of supply at significantly lower acquisition prices, reflecting long-term holders who are deep in profit and likely not selling, contributing to ongoing supply constraints.

A zone of interest lies between $93,000 and $98,000, where investors acquire a substantial amount of BTC. With Bitcoin trading near $94,000, the market appears to be at a decision point.

According to the analyst, a strong breakout—marked by a decisive candle—could confirm bullish continuation by flipping recent supply into profit and fueling upward momentum. Conversely, a rejection at these levels may signal a lower high formation, increasing the likelihood of a deeper correction as selling pressure builds.

Here’s How High Dogecoin Could Go if Bitcoin Hits $2.4M as Predicted by Ark Invest

0

Dogecoin price could hit an unprecedented level if it proportionally mirrors the Bitcoin rally to the $2.4 million target set by Ark Invest.

As Bitcoin continues to capture the attention of institutions, states, and nations, some bulls envision the firstborn crypto soaring to eye-popping targets.

Ark Invest Envisions Bitcoin Hitting $2.4M By 2030

Leading asset manager Ark Invest recently shared this sentiment, predicting that the premier asset could clinch a bullish target of $2.4 million by 2030.

This suggests that Ark Invest expects the $2.4 million target to materialize in the next five years. According to Ark Invest, Bitcoin’s surge to the $2.4 million target would be driven by nation-state adoption of BTC as a treasury asset, growing investment in spot Bitcoin ETFs, and the asset’s store of value utility.

Notably, reaching the $2.4 million target demands a surge of 2,439% from the current price of $94,521. This projected price would propel Bitcoin’s market cap to $48 trillion, assuming there are 20 million BTC in circulation.

Dogecoin Correlation with Bitcoin

Such an increase could positively impact the performance of the broader crypto market. Specifically, assets like Dogecoin (DOGE), which have a high correlation with Bitcoin, could benefit immensely from BTC’s rally to the $2.4 million target.

According to data from IntoTheBlock, Dogecoin’s correlation with Bitcoin’s price action in the past 30 days stands at 97%. Similarly, the correlation matrix in the past two months is at 65%.

The data show that Bitcoin’s price movement has strongly influenced Dogecoin’s performance in the past few weeks.

Price of Dogecoin if Bitcoin Hits $2.4M

Should this trend continue, Dogecoin might experience a monumental surge if Bitcoin surges 2,439% to $2.4 million.

For context, Dogecoin trades at $0.1744 per token in the hours leading up to press time. This represents a slight increase of 0.36% in the past 24 hours. Like Bitcoin, Dogecoin’s price has slumped by 2.27% in seven days.

Dogecoin’s market valuation is $26.02 billion, making it the eighth most prominent cryptocurrency. If Dogecoin continues to follow Bitcoin’s price movement and the premier crypto soars 2,439% to $2.4 million, DOGE could similarly set a new ATH record.

Specifically, if DOGE’s price grows by 2,439%, it will hit a target of $4.428. Therefore, if Bitcoin hits a target of $2.4 million, as projected by Ark Invest, Dogecoin’s price could soar to around $4.428. This estimate assumes that Dogecoin’s supply remains constant at 149.13 billion tokens.

Dogecoin to $4 Forecast

Interestingly, several crypto analysts, including lead Dogecoin analyst Kevin, believe DOGE’s potential surge to the $4 target is imminent. In December 2024, Kevin suggested that it is highly likely that Dogecoin could set a new ATH of $4 by the end of this year.

Three months later, Kevin indicated that Dogecoin was mirroring its performance in the 2020/2021 cycle. The expert asserted that if the trend continues, Dogecoin could embark on its next leg toward the $4 territory.

In addition, popular crypto analyst Alan issued a bullish prediction for Dogecoin, pointing to a potential surge to $4. Alan’s prediction was based on the Fibonacci 1.618 Extension level.

Essentially, there is a likelihood that Dogecoin might surpass the $4.42 target even when it closely mirrors Bitcoin’s price movement toward Ark Invest’s $2.4 million target. This speculation is due to Dogecoin historically outperforming Bitcoin during a bull run.

Meanwhile, Changelly experts are less optimistic about Dogecoin’s trajectory. The trading platform predicts that Dogecoin will clinch the $4 target by 2034 and eventually soar to the $4.45 level by May 2034.

Shiba Inu Could Rally 528% to $0.000081, Top Analyst Insists

0

Technical analyst Javon Marks has reiterated his breakout target for Shiba Inu, which would mark an approximate 528% increase from its current levels.

Amid this bullish projection, Shiba Inu has been trading at $0.0000129, down 0.4% from its intra-day high. The meme coin has also declined by 7.4% in the past 7 days, although the longer time frame is rather positive.

Road to $0.000081

Despite this performance, crypto analyst Javon Marks has reiterated his earlier prediction that Shiba Inu’s price could reach $0.000081 this cycle.

This follows a successful retest of the breakout level that saw SHIB price rally to a seven-month high of $0.00003329 in December 2024. The rally was followed by a pullback, which brought the price back to a low of $0.0000108.

Image

According to Marks, this correction phase was expected and confirmed SHIB’s technical structure. Since then, the SHIB price has been volatile and is trading around the $0.00001290 range.

However, the price closing above $0.00002 at the end of 2024 added confidence to the ongoing structure. This current level is now seen as a base for further upside, as analysts predict a 528% rally is looming.

Technical Structure Supported by Bullish Divergence

SHIB’s chart shows a hidden bullish divergence forming, which is generally seen as a sign of underlying strength. This pattern occurs when price action makes higher lows, while indicators like RSI or MACD form lower lows.

Marks pointed out that this type of divergence suggests buying pressure is building up, even as momentum indicators reflect short-term weakness. This setup often leads to the continuation of the existing trend.

Holding above the breakout level while forming higher lows reinforces SHIB’s technical positioning. Market watchers are monitoring for a breakout from the current consolidation, which could send the token toward higher resistance levels if volume increases.

Long-Term Holder Growth Reflects Investor Confidence

On-chain data from IntoTheBlock confirms a rise in SHIB holders who have held the token for more than one year. These long-term holders have increased steadily since mid-2022 and continued into early 2025.

This growth occurred during rallies and corrections, pointing to consistent accumulation. A growing base of long-term holders can reduce selling pressure, which supports price stability and helps maintain key support zones.

Notably, the number of short-term traders who hold for less than one month has dropped by 36.5%.

Shiba Inu Balance by Time Held
Shiba Inu Balance by Time Held

This decrease in speculative behavior, often linked to reduced volatility, shows that SHIB is becoming a more mature asset in the market.

Cruisers, or holders with a holding period between one and twelve months, have grown by 3.15%. This trend supports the view that investors are shifting from short-term trading to medium and long-term positions.

Burn Activity Adds to Bullish Sentiment

Elsewhere, according to data from Shibburn, SHIB’s token burn activity has increased sharply. Over the past 24 hours, 2,219,043 SHIB tokens were burned, which marked a 278.42% increase. Over the past 7 days, 313,950,965 tokens were removed from circulation—up 324.14%.

SHIB’s burn mechanism reduces supply and is designed to increase scarcity over time. As more tokens are burned, the supply becomes more limited, supporting upward price movement if demand remains steady or grows.

Top Pundit Says Owning a Whole Bitcoin Will Be “Absurd” in a Few Years

0

According to a top crypto pundit, the price of Bitcoin could surge to insanely high levels that holding a full unit of the asset would become unbelievable.

Notably, this daring comment comes a few months after the price of the pioneering cryptocurrency reached a new milestone above six figures. Specifically, BTC attained a new all-time high of $109,300 in January, a remarkable milestone considering the asset was once under $1.

Interestingly, Bitcoin’s current price already makes it difficult for an average-income individual to hold a whole unit. It currently trades at $94,533, trouncing the national average salary of $66,622 this year.

Bitcoin Will Become Increasingly Expensive

Nonetheless, prominent crypto pundit Lark Davis has suggested that Bitcoin will become more expensive in relation to fiat currencies. In a recent tweet, he speculated that holding one BTC will be “absurd” in the next few years.

While he did not provide further context, his post’s narrative hovers around buying as many BTC as possible, as the currency could continue its upward trajectory against fiat. As this happens, as little as 1 BTC would be worth a fortune for those who leveraged this opportunity to acquire the asset.

Interestingly, Davis is not alone in this opinion. Recently, American venture capitalist Tim Draper predicted that Bitcoin would increase “infinitely” against the US dollar, urging a divestment from traditional financial instruments to stack the asset.

Possible Timelines for Insane Bitcoin Prices

Notably, these commentaries come amid speculations that Bitcoin will attain ambitious price levels in the near and long term. Market experts have projected a $1 million, $2 million, and even a staggering $13 million target for the coin.

For context, Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood predicted that Bitcoin would reach $1 million within the next five years in a base case scenario. In a bull market condition, she expects the digital currency to appreciate further to $2.4 million per coin. Interestingly, several other market watchers align with this price target and timeline, including Swan Bitcoin and 21 Capital’s Sina.

However, Bitcoin evangelist and Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor envisages a surge to $13 million in the next 20 years. He based this bold claim on the asset claiming 7% of the global wealth, as high-net-worth individuals and institutions adopt it.

In the meantime, Bitcoin trades at $94,533, an appealing price for investors who believe in this long-term trajectory.

Ethereum Targets $2,000 as Whales Accumulate Ahead of Pectra Upgrade

With Ethereum back above $1,800, upcoming network upgrades and increased whale activity hint at a bullish reversal toward $2,000.

As Bitcoin struggles near the $94,000 mark, Ethereum continues to trend sideways above the $1,750 level. However, short-term pullbacks in the broader market have triggered quick corrections toward the lower boundary.

Currently, Ethereum is trading at $1,819, reflecting a decline of around 1.5% over the past 24 hours. As ETH holds its ground amid market volatility, could a bounce back to the $2,000 mark be on the horizon?

Ethereum Price Analysis

On the 4-hour chart, Ethereum’s price action shows a bullish breakout above a short-term descending resistance trendline. This breakout allowed ETH to surpass the 61.80% Fibonacci level at $1,834.

Ethereum Price Chart
Ethereum Price Chart

However, Ethereum has retested the broken resistance line due to the broader market pullback over the weekend. Following a bounce, ETH has gained 1.5% over the past 4 hours, forming a bullish engulfing candle and reclaiming the 50 EMA.

Additionally, the lower price rejection signals strong bullish support near the 200 EMA. As the uptrend continues, the 100 and 200 EMA lines are on the verge of forming a bullish crossover.

Despite this, the recent pullback has resulted in a bearish crossover between the MACD and signal lines. The moving averages are approaching negative territory due to weakened bullish momentum.

However, a bullish crossover in the MACD is likely as the post-reversal rally strengthens. According to Fibonacci levels, the breakout above 61.80% suggests a potential move to the 78.60% level at $1,948.

Optimistically, this would raise the chances of Ethereum reaching the $2,000 psychological level, which aligns with the 100% Fibonacci retracement. On the downside, critical support lies at the 50% Fibonacci level near $1,755.

This demand zone has provided multiple bouncebacks for Ethereum throughout late April. In the event of a breakdown, ETH could retest the key support level at $1,577.

Analysts Signal a Good Time to Accumulate ETH Amid Low Valuations

Ahead of Ethereum’s Pectra upgrade scheduled for May 7, on-chain data points to a potential bullish reversal. According to a recent tweet by Michael van de Poppe, Ethereum’s valuation is nearing a historically low point.

Citing the MVRV Z-score, the analyst highlights past low-valuation periods for Ethereum, including the August 2022 bottom, the March 2020 COVID crash, and the January 2019 correction.

Each of these historical corrections was followed by significant recoveries within a 12-month timeframe. With ETH currently at low valuations, analysts suggest this may be a strong opportunity for accumulation.

Ethereum Whales Return

As Ethereum continues to trade at relatively low valuations, whales have begun accumulating again. According to Arkham Intelligence, a previously inactive wallet has re-entered the market to purchase ETH.

After a four-year dormancy, whale wallet 0xBE11 withdrew approximately 2,600 ETH, valued at $4.72 million, from Binance.

Further data from IntoTheBlock reveals that whale concentration has grown significantly over the past three months. The total held by whales increased from 61.69 million ETH to 67.47 million ETH, now representing 46.3% of the total circulating supply.

Meanwhile, both investor and retail concentration have decreased. Investor holdings have declined from 10.92% to 8.78%, and retail ownership has dropped from 45.57% to 44.92%.

Chartered Financial Analyst Reveals How Much Bitcoin You Need to Retire with $100K Annually

0

A new analysis sheds light on how much Bitcoin an investor may need to fund an early retirement lifestyle with $100,000 annually.

Financial independence continues to be a goal for many, especially as interest grows in alternative investment strategies like cryptocurrency. Amid this growing interest, a chart shared by Rajat Soni, a Chartered Financial Analyst, presents a conservative framework for individuals planning to step away from traditional employment.

GqENdF8WYAAyr4I
GqENdF8WYAAyr4I

The model estimates how much BTC a person would need to secure a $100,000 annual income, adjusted for 7% inflation. Soni’s projections rely on a 5th percentile power regression model, meaning it reflects a low-end or worst-case growth path for Bitcoin’s price. This approach assumes gradual but steady BTC appreciation.

BTC Needs Vary by Retirement Timeline

According to the data, the number of Bitcoins needed to retire depends heavily on the year retirement begins. The earlier the retirement date, the more BTC is required. For someone currently aged 45 and planning to retire in 2030, the model estimates a need for 4.28 BTC.

At early 2025 prices, this equates to around $400,000. However, the BTC requirement drops over time due to the underlying assumption of Bitcoin’s future price growth.

If the same individual delays retirement to 2035, they would only need 2.23 BTC. By 2040, the number falls further to 1.41 BTC. For a 2045 retirement, only 0.95 BTC would be needed to support the same inflation-adjusted annual income.

Notably, the drop in the required amount in Bitcoin is due to the projection that Bitcoin’s price will continue to increase as the years progress. For instance, an investor who sought to retire five years ago with $400,000 would have needed 44.4 BTC in May 2020, as BTC traded at an average of $9,000 then. Now, this investor needs only 4.28 BTC.

Investor Behavior Show Disconnect with Projections

Despite these clear projections, many investors are hesitant to make the shift. According to Soni, a significant number of high-income individuals already have over $400,000 saved but avoid converting it into Bitcoin.

A key reason cited is reliance on financial advisers who may not understand or endorse Bitcoin. Soni notes that these advisers often discourage BTC investments, viewing them as speculative or risky. Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor recently suggested that by the time these advisors identify Bitcoin’s potential, the asset might have already reached $10 million.

Bitcoin Is the Scarcest Store of Value in the World: Bitwise CEO Says Amid 0.84% Inflation Rate

0

Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley has again highlighted Bitcoin scarcity, stressing that it is the rarest of all assets established as a store of value.

Bitcoin’s scarce property has been a defining factor in its rise to global adoption. It has also been a premise at which enthusiasts stress the intrinsic and long-term viability of the pioneering cryptocurrency.

Hunter Horsley, the CEO of Bitwise and a Bitcoin maximalist, highlighted this sparing characteristic in a Monday tweet. He branded the crypto leader the “scarcest store of value in the world,” stressing its superiority to traditional value hedges like gold.

Bitcoin’s Scarce: Horsley

Horsley presented this theory by comparing Bitcoin’s annual supply with that of gold and fiat currencies. The CEO emphasized that while these asset classes have seen a tangible supply increase over the last many years, Bitcoin has grown scarcer with time.

For perspective, he shared that the global fiat monies have appreciated 14% annually for the last 60 years. According to him, its supply would take five years to double in value, with the dynamics contributing to possible devaluation.

The same goes for the US money supply, which has grown at an average rate of 7.4% in the past six decades. At the rates, he mentioned that it would take 10 years for the US dollar supply to grow 100%. Meanwhile, with gold’s 1.5-2% yearly growth, its supply will double in 36-48 years.

However, Bitcoin’s supply increases by a mere annual rate of 0.84%, the least among other stores of value. Furthermore, its supply deflationary model means the number of BTC created decreases over time through the automatic halving event.

Meanwhile, with 19.8 million BTC out of the supply cap of 21 million already in circulation, the asset would only increase by 6% in its entire existence, further reestablishing its scarce nature.

Bitcoin Nears Supply Shock

Interestingly, the existing Bitcoins are already becoming difficult to acquire, as self-custody and long-term wallets are drying up the supply. For perspective, the amount of BTC on centralized exchanges recently dropped to a five-year low below 14% as enthusiasts continue to accumulate.

Bitcoin Supply on Exchanges

Furthermore, large players like Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) and Metaplanet have resolved to stack sats incessantly, further jeopardizing supply. The former recently acquired 15,355 BTC ($1.42 billion), taking its holdings to 553,555 BTC ($52 billion).

With demand trouncing supply at this rate, Bitcoin may soon experience a supply shock, which could severely impact asset prices. Meanwhile, Horsley earlier stated that there would not be enough Bitcoin for everybody to buy, with Bitwise stressing that governments willing to gain exposure to the asset would have to buy from individuals willing to sell.

Shiba Inu: New Ethereum Whale Accumulates 1,764,519 BONE in 5 Days

0

Javier Olmedo, a top Shiba Inu community member, highlights a new blockchain address that has been accumulating BONE tokens daily over the past five days.

In a tweet, Olmedo called the community’s attention to a new wallet accumulating BONE almost daily. This consistent accumulation signals a deliberate acquisition, with Olmedo suggesting that the wallet’s owner could be anticipating an upcoming event.

“Does he know something we don’t?” Olmedo quizzed.

At the time of the post, the Shiba Inu community member revealed that the new blockchain address contains over $500,000 worth of BONE.

On-Chain Data Confirms Steady Accumulation

Data from Etherscan also confirms that the new wallet recorded its first transaction on April 27, when it received 0.2 ETH. However, it made its first BONE purchase two days later, on April 29 at 08:43 p.m. (UTC). The unknown user purchased 1,644,001 (1.64 million) BONE in that transaction, currently worth $498,387.

The address acquired another 11,434 BONE tokens the following day. Since then, the wallet has accumulated 109,083 BONE daily. Its latest acquisition, 31,171 BONE, occurred yesterday.

Overall, the wallet accumulated 1,764,519 (1.76 million) Bone ShibaSwap tokens worth $532,177 in six transactions within five days.

Unknown whale accumulates BONE
An unknown whale accumulating BONE

Bot Purchase?

One interesting observation about the accumulation is that it happened almost at the same time each day. According to the blockchain data, the transactions, particularly those relating to BONE, usually occur between 08:42 p.m. and 08:43 p.m. (UTC) daily.

The timing pattern suggests that a bot executed these BONE purchases on behalf of the wallet’s owner. In the meantime, the blockchain address holds 34 crypto assets valued at approximately $29.38 million. BONE ranks as the tenth biggest token by dollar value in the portfolio.

Previous BONE Accumulation

Meanwhile, this is not the first time a blockchain wallet has consistently accumulated BONE tokens. Last month, Olmedo highlighted an unknown wallet that had been accumulating BONE tokens for over two years.

As of mid-April 2025, the wallet had amassed 237,311 BONE tokens. Fresh data from Etherscan suggests that the wallet has increased its BONE holdings by 2.23% since last month, as it currently holds 242,619 BONE tokens at press time.

The continuous accumulation of BONE by a few investors underscores growing confidence in the Shibarium gas fee token despite its recent underperformance. BONE is changing hands at $0.3009 per token, down 4.39% in 24 hours and 99.28% from its peak value of $41.67, registered on September 13, 2021.

Cardano Founder Says Midnight Built for Stocks on Blockchain, With a $100T Market Opportunity

0

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has revealed a bold vision for Midnight, Cardano’s data protection-focused sidechain, saying it was “built for stocks on the blockchain.”

Speaking alongside Midnight CEO Eran Barak in a May 1 conversation, Hoskinson emphasized that full privacy, programmability, and interoperability are essential to bringing traditional equities into the blockchain era.

Midnight, developed by Input Output Global (IOG), uses zero-knowledge (ZK) cryptography to enable confidential smart contracts. Originally framed as a privacy-enhancing protocol, it’s now being positioned as a key infrastructure layer for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, especially equities.

“You need a private side, full programmability, RWA standards, and trade across all blockchains and legacy exchanges,” Hoskinson said, underscoring what’s needed to onboard global stock markets.

Privacy ensures confidentiality for institutions, programmability allows for complex financial instruments, and interoperability enables seamless trading between blockchains and traditional financial platforms.

According to Hoskinson, this infrastructure opens access to a $10 trillion market today, with the potential to scale toward $100 trillion.

Anchored by Hybrid Blockchain Technologies

To achieve these goals, Midnight combines several technological frameworks drawn from other networks. Hoskinson explained that the protocol integrates consensus mechanisms inspired by Aptos, development components from the Polkadot SDK, and many features from Cardano itself.

In addition, the team drew insights from Zcash’s approach to privacy, incorporating zero-knowledge cryptography as a core element of Midnight’s architecture. This setup allows developers to create confidential smart contracts that prioritize both user privacy and legal compliance.

Midnight CEO Eran Barak highlighted this as a response to growing concerns about personal data sharing with artificial intelligence. Barak stated that the protocol is designed to allow AI to access private data without breaching ownership rights, offering a controlled, transparent framework for secure data interaction.

Meanwhile, Hoskinson also pointed to stablecoins as a primary use case for Midnight. These assets, he said, already account for over 73% of Ethereum’s economic activity and represent over $250 billion in total market size.

Midnight’s Institutional Collaboration

Midnight’s expansion also includes institutional collaborations. Hoskinson revealed that IOG recently joined the Confidential Computing Consortium under the Linux Foundation, aligning with firms such as Microsoft and Amazon. These organizations are exploring secure hardware enclaves and GPU-based systems for private AI computation.

A Multichain Network

The protocol’s launch has long been expected to impact the Cardano ecosystem significantly. In December 2024, Hoskinson confirmed that Midnight would make Cardano a multichain network by enabling interoperability with chains such as Ethereum and Solana.

Hoskinson also disclosed a partnership with Fairgate Labs to advance Midnight’s cross-chain vision. This development drew attention from the Cardano community, especially due to IOG’s earlier involvement with BitcoinOS.

Responding to inquiries from an analyst at Angry Crypto Show, Hoskinson clarified that Fairgate created the base technology for BitcoinOS. He also noted that Fairgate does not plan to issue a token, a subject that has caused friction between BitcoinOS and Cardano supporters.

Expert Suggests the Right Amount of XRP Every Investor Should Own

A notable market commentator has shared what he believes is the right amount of XRP every investor should own amid varying suggestions.

According to the analyst behind the XRP community-driven account “XRP Investing,” every investor should only own an amount they find comfortable investing in. This suggestion was in contrast to prevalent ideas from other community commentators, who presented specific figures.

For context, over the past few months, discussions around the minimum amount of XRP investors should hold have emerged, as pundits advise an aggressive accumulation culture amid the current market uncertainty that has kept XRP locked in an extensive consolidation phase. Some have suggested a minimum of 1,000 XRP, while others believe 10,000 is necessary.

The Right Amount of XRP is What You Can Afford

“XRP Investing” does not agree with these ideas. According to the market commentator, the ideal amount of XRP an investor should possess is basically how much that investor can afford without flinching.

He emphasized that this is not a fixed figure such as 2,500 XRP or 10,000 XRP, but rather a variable one depending on the investor’s capacity. For instance, some investors might be capable of procuring 100,000 XRP at the current price, while others might not have enough to even buy up to 30,000 XRP.

“XRP Investing” insists there is no pressure. He suggested that investors should ensure they stay within their means. Notably, this is particularly important, as some could invest funds that they are not willing to part with, which may lead to anxiety, especially if the price action does not go in the expected direction.

To avoid this, investors must commit what they can afford to lose. According to “XRP Investing,” market participants should stay within their means in their investment decisions and “sleep well.” He then advised allowing the market to do its thing. The analyst suggested that investors buy what feels right to them if they do believe in XRP.

Ideas from Other Analysts

These remarks come on the back of multiple ideas from other analysts. Particularly, Edoardo Farina, XRPHealthcare’s Head of Social Adoption, has persistently suggested that an investor must hold at least 10,000 XRP if they wish to observe impressive gains when XRP reaches ambitious price targets.

Last December, Farina argued that an investor who does not hold at least 10,000 XRP is making a life mistake. Barely a month later, he suggested that those who have already amassed up to 10,000 XRP might not fully understand how free they’ll be in the future. These comments came from the idea that XRP will certainly skyrocket in the future.

While they might present a sense of urgency for investors to accumulate more tokens before this eventual price spike, the idea of a benchmark could push some to commit what they are not willing to part with, leading to anxiety. At press time, XRP trades for $2.18, trading flat over the past 24 hours.
