Bitget Research Chief Analyst Predicts $10 XRP —Here’s What’s Fueling the Forecast

XRP continues to generate buzz, with analysts predicting substantial price growth as Ripple moves closer to resolving its long-standing legal battle with the U.S. SEC.

According to Ryan Lee, Chief Analyst at Bitget, XRP could surge to $10 by 2030 if Ripple can capitalize on key opportunities, including regulatory clarity and the possibility of an IPO.

Ripple’s SEC Lawsuit Resolution: A Game Changer for XRP

The long-running legal dispute between Ripple and the SEC has been a significant hurdle for XRP. However, recent developments suggest the case is nearing its conclusion, which has sparked optimism among XRP enthusiasts and investors.

Last month, Ripple announced that the SEC would no longer pursue an appeal in the case. However, an official notification of a settlement has yet to emerge, as both parties are still negotiating the terms.

Meanwhile, the resolution of the lawsuit would give XRP a new sense of direction. Particularly, it would allow Ripple to focus on its business operations without the shadow of regulatory uncertainty. In this context, Bitget’s Ryan Lee shared his analysis of XRP’s potential price trajectory following the legal resolution.

Ryan Lee’s Short-Term and Long-Term XRP Price Predictions

Lee acknowledged that XRP largely trades between $2.35 and $2.55 in the short term. He suggests that a breakout from this range could lead to substantial price movements in either direction. Short-term targets range from $2.00 to $2.17 on the downside and $2.65 to $3.00 on the upside.

However, Lee’s long-term forecast is even more bullish. He predicts that XRP could reach anywhere between $4.20 and $10, but he expects this to materialize by 2030.

This prediction hinges on Ripple successfully leveraging payment adoption, building stronger partnerships, and its RLUSD stablecoin adoption. The potential surge also heavily depends on the continued regulatory clarity Ripple will likely enjoy following the SEC case resolution.

Ripple Labs IPO: Additional Bullish Catalysts for XRP

Another key factor that could drive XRP’s price to new heights is the possibility of a Ripple IPO. CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently mentioned that an IPO for Ripple was “possible,” which has further fueled optimism among investors.

If Ripple goes public, it could increase its exposure to institutional investors, thereby creating additional demand for XRP. Some community pundits, like Ben Armstrong, have suggested that XRP’s price could rally to $25 on Ripple’s IPO.

Fidelity Launches Zero-Fee IRAs for Bitcoin, Ethereum Holders

0

Fidelity, a firm with $5.9 trillion in assets under management, has rolled out new retirement accounts designed to let Americans invest in digital currencies.

The three types of accounts—traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, and those that include a rollover option—offer the opportunity to trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. While these accounts have no fees for opening or maintaining them, Fidelity charges a 1% spread on crypto buy-and-sell transactions.

Crypto for Retirement Accounts

The new crypto retirement offerings are part of Fidelity Digital Assets, a subsidiary that has previously catered to institutional investors. This shift marks a significant step as Fidelity now opens up its services to individual investors, reflecting a broader industry movement toward mainstream crypto adoption.

Fidelity has stated that most of the digital assets held within the accounts will be stored in cold storage, ensuring added protection by keeping them offline and away from potential online threats.

With crypto assets being susceptible to hacks and thefts, these measures aim to mitigate those risks while giving investors confidence in the integrity of their holdings.

Fidelity Enhances Digital Asset Services

In addition to launching crypto retirement accounts, Fidelity is also making strides in the stablecoin sector. The company is reportedly in the final stages of developing a US dollar-pegged stablecoin, which it wants to launch through Fidelity Digital Assets.

This move is part of Fidelity’s larger strategy to deepen its involvement in digital assets and blockchain technology.

Furthering its push into the crypto space, Fidelity is introducing an Ethereum-backed share class within its US dollar fund. This share class is designed to track the transactions of the Fidelity Treasury Digital Fund, an $80 million fund that primarily consists of U.S. Treasury bills.

This further expands Fidelity’s crypto offerings. The firm already offers a number of crypto ETFs, helping users reduce their exposure to spot crypto prices.

US House Committee Passes Stablecoin Bill but Not Without a Donald Trump Controversy

0

The STABLE Act gains momentum after the US House Committee voted in favor of the bill amid bipartisan support on Wednesday.

The US House Financial Services Committee, a bipartisan committee within the US House of Representatives, has voted in favor of the Republican-supported STABLE Act bill. Following bipartisan support on April 2, the proposal passed with a 32-17 vote.

STABLE Act Progresses Through Congress

The Stablecoin Transparency and Accountability for a Better Ledger Economy Act, also called the STABLE Act, passed the US House Committee markup yesterday. The legislation aims to create a regulatory framework for stablecoin issuance in the United States.

Proposed by Republican Representatives French Hill and Bryan Steil, the bill will provide much-needed clarity around the operation of payment stablecoin issuers, mandating transparency and customer-centricity among operators of these assets.

Notably, the United States under Donald Trump is keen on promoting US dollar-based stablecoins, which it believes will strengthen its currency’s usage and dominance globally. With the approval from the US House of Financial Services Committee, the stablecoin bill will now move to the full House floor for a decision.

Donald Trump’s Stablecoin Dabble Spur Markup Row

Meanwhile, the April 2 STABLE Act was not without roars and backlash, specifically on Donald Trump’s growing involvement with the crypto sector despite being president. While the legislation gained bipartisan support, Democrats insisted that the Trump family’s stablecoin endeavor bred a conflict of interest.

For context, Trump’s World Liberty Financial (WLFI) announced the launch of stablecoin USD1 on Ethereum and BNB Chain in late March. Interestingly, the debut came on the heels of the US Senate’s approval of the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoin (GENIUS) Act.

Despite supporting the legislation, Democrats pushed for amendments that impede Trump, his cabinet, and other special government employees like Elon Musk from launching a stablecoin while in office. Meanwhile, Republicans disagreed with the proposal, leveraging its slim majority to vote against it.

Pro-crypto journalist Eleanor Terret confirmed that the back-and-forth argument ensured the markup lasted for 13 hours, with Trump’s controversial stablecoin dabble protracting the sitting. Nonetheless, it ended in bipartisan support of the bill, with a 32-17 vote and a failed attempt to prevent WLFI from proceeding with its stablecoin venture.

TRON Founder Justin Sun Claims FDUSD Issuer is ‘Effectively Insolvent,’ Urges Users to Secure Assets, First Digital Responds

0

TRON founder Justin Sun accuses First Digital Trust (FDT), the issuer of FDUSD stablecoin, of being completely insolvent and unable to fulfill redemption requests.

Sun made the claim on Wednesday after reports suggested that he bailed out Techteryx’s TrueUSD (TUSD) when $456 million of the stablecoin’s reserve was illiquid.

For context, FDT manages TUSD’s reserves. As of November 2024, the company managed about $501 million of TrueUSD’s reserves.

Issues Surrounding TUSD Reserves

Following Techteryx’s acquisition of TUSD from TrueCoin in December 2020, it appointed FDT to manage the stablecoin’s reserves. According to recent court documents, Techteryx instructed FDT to invest the reserve in the Aria Commodity Finance Fund (Aria CFF).

Instead of investing the reserves in Aria CFF as instructed, court filings claimed that $456 million was improperly diverted to Aria Commodities DMCC, a Dubai-based unauthorized entity.

According to the court filings, between mid-2022 and early 2023, Techteryx tried to redeem its investment from Aria CFF but received little or no funds back. This prompted Techteryx to assume full operational control of TUSD by July 2023, when TrueCoin terminated its involvement with the stablecoin.

As part of efforts to continue redemption processes and protect customers from possible fallout, Techteryx isolated 400 million TUSD tokens.

In its defense, FDT claimed it invested TUSD reserves in Aria CFF based on Techteryx’s instructions, adding that it was not responsible for evaluating the company’s investment strategy.

Further, it claimed that the delay in redeeming funds was due to AML/KYC concerns regarding Techteryx’s beneficial ownership.

FDT Responds to Sun’s Claim

However, Sun accused FDT of being insolvent and unable to redeem the client’s funds. Based on this, the TRON founder advised users to immediately secure their assets from projects linked to FDT to shield themselves from potential losses.

He emphasized that there are significant loopholes in Hong Kong’s licensing of trusts and urged the relevant authorities to act swiftly to prevent further financial losses.

In response, FDT issued a separate statement refuting Sun’s claims, noting that his accusations are completely false. The company referred to Sun’s allegations as a smear campaign launched by the Tron founder to attack competitors of his business.

It emphasized that the dispute only relates to TUSD and not to FDUSD, which it issues. According to First Digital Trust, every dollar backing FDUSD is safe, secure, and backed by U.S. Treasury Bills.

It threatened to pursue legal action against Sun to protect its reputation and rights. Meanwhile, following the crisis, the price of FDUSD plunged to a low of $0.8811 yesterday. However, the stablecoin is still recovering from the issues, as it was trading at $0.9921 in the hours leading up to press time.

Analyst Says New Dogecoin All-Time High Possible, “Don’t Be Fooled by the News”

0

An analyst highlights a bullish divergence on Dogecoin, suggesting that traders should focus on the numbers rather than the news.

Dogecoin (DOGE) continues to face a challenging period, with its price stagnating. Over the past week, Dogecoin has experienced a significant decline of 15.30%, with the current price standing at $0.1715.

While these figures reflect recent struggles, analysts have identified key technical indicators that suggest potential future gains.

In a recent post on TradingView, one analyst highlighted a bullish divergence on Dogecoin’s 3-month chart. The chart shows the price has been making higher lows, indicating an upward trend.

Meanwhile, the RSI, a momentum indicator, is trending lower. This discrepancy creates a “bullish divergence,” which often signals a potential reversal or rally.

“Don’t be Fooled by The News”

While the analyst refrained from providing a specific price target, he emphasized the likelihood of Dogecoin reaching new highs in the future. In particular, he urged Dogecoin enthusiasts to ignore negative news causing temporary fluctuations and maintain a bullish perspective.

“New all-time highs [likely for Dogecoin]—don’t be fooled by the news,” he wrote.

Notably, a few days ago, Elon Musk, head of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency, denied the possibility of using Dogecoin in the federal government. Musk’s words contributed to a drop in Dogecoin’s price to trade below $0.17, although it has recovered slightly.

Testing Key Resistance Levels

Elsewhere, another trader, Raj Kumar, analyzed the current market situation, focusing on key support and resistance levels. He shared a chart showing that Dogecoin’s price has surpassed a critical resistance level of around $0.17236.

This level has acted as a barrier to upward movement, with previous seller pressure limiting the price from breaking through. The trader points out that this breakout could pave the way for further gains.

Support Zones Indicate Possible Rally

These predictions follow similar commentaties by MMBTtrader, which outlined important support zones for Dogecoin. After breaking past a resistance level, the analyst noted that a retest of the current price zone could be necessary before any major rally can take place.

The key support zones identified include $0.13548 and $0.09024. If Dogecoin stabilizes at these levels, it could potentially lead to a surge, with the trader predicting a rise to the $0.30-$0.40 range.

Here’s When XRP Could Reach $10 if It Rises by Only 10% Per Month

Numerous market commentators have speculated on the potential for XRP to break into the double-digit range this season.

Optimism about this prospect gained momentum after XRP staged a spectacular price run at the tail end of 2024, with its market cap expanding sixfold. While bearish momentum has taken hold of the XRP market ever since, the optimism has not subsided.

Amid this, The Crypto Basic analyzes how long it could take for XRP to reach $10 if it maintains a steady 10% price growth each month.

Timeline for XRP to Reach $10 with 10% Monthly Gain

At press time, XRP is trading at $2.14. Its growth over the past month shows a flat trajectory with a 0.45% negative growth.

Meanwhile, from the current position, should XRP see a 10% gain by next month, the price would increase to $2.354. In the following month, XRP’s price would be $2.5894 after a consistent 10% growth. Notably, by the fourth month of steady 10% growth, XRP would have reached the $3.133 mark.

To expedite the process of estimating how long it would take XRP to reach $10 with regular monthly 10% growth, we can apply a mathematical formula for compound growth. Notably, The Crypto Basic used this formula through OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

The chatbot found that it could take XRP approximately 16.2 months to reach a $10 price if it rises by 10% every month. Specifically, this would occur in August 2026.

Other Expert Predictions for When XRP Might Hit $10

Interestingly, this timeline aligns with the predictions of analysts at the forecast platform Telegaon.

In a recently updated analysis, they argued that XRP would trade at a minimum price of $6.94 by 2026, with an average price of $8.53 and a maximum of $10.18. Notably, Telegaon analysts also predict XRP will trade at a minimum of $10 by 2027.

On the other hand, analysts at the Changelly Exchange project that XRP might take a bit longer to reach $10. Specifically, they foresee a timeline extending into 2028.

While the prospect of XRP growing by 10% to reach $10 by next year is exciting, it is worth noting that this is speculative, and XRP may not maintain the uptrend. Its price could dip along the way, potentially extending the timeline for reaching $10. Read other crypto news ripple.

How Much Will Your 500K or 1M DOGE Be Worth if DOGE Hits $10, $20, or $50

Dogecoin investors with over 500K DOGE in their portfolio could become multi-millionaires if the coin reaches the double-digit range.

Dogecoin has been one of the worst-performing digital assets since the start of 2025. The prominent meme coin is down 23% over the past 30 days and 46% since January. Despite this discouraging performance, enthusiasts continue to nurse ambitious outlooks for DOGE.

Many argue for a future where Dogecoin could trade in the double-digit range. Amid this optimism, The Crypto Basic estimates the potential worth of wallets containing between 500K and 1 million DOGE tokens.

Value of 500K Dogecoin if DOGE Hits $10, $20, or $50

At press time, Dogecoin is trading at $0.1703, down 2% today. At this price, wallets holding 500,000 DOGE tokens have a portfolio worth $85,150.

In a hypothetical scenario where 1 DOGE is worth $10, this holding would expand to $5,000,000. This represents an incredible 5,772% upside from today’s value.

However, if the price of Dogecoin rises further to $20, wallets holding 500K DOGE would become worth $10 million.

Meanwhile, if the price continues to surge, reaching $50, the value of 500K DOGE holdings would skyrocket to $25 million. This would translate to an astonishing 14,580% gain from the current investment.

Value of 1M Dogecoin if DOGE Hits $10, $20, or $50

With the potential upside for 500K DOGE holders, those holding 1 million tokens, currently worth $170K, stand to see even more impressive returns if Dogecoin reaches $10, $20, or $50.

Specifically, 1 million DOGE would be worth $10 million at $10 per DOGE, and the portfolio would be worth $20 million at $20 per coin. At $50 per DOGE, the value of 1 million DOGE holdings would soar to $50 million.

Indeed, the prospects of substantial returns from Dogecoin are enticing. However, the likelihood of the meme coin reaching lofty heights like $10, $20, and $50 remains a topic of debate, as does the question of how long it might take—if it happens at all.

Can Dogecoin Reach $10, $20, and $50?

Numerous analysts have used technical patterns and historical data to argue that Dogecoin could soar to between $10 and $30 this year. However, the coin remains far from this target, currently trading under $0.20.

Critics disagree with these short-term predictions, citing market cap implications. For context, at $10, Dogecoin’s market cap would be $1.48 trillion, and approximately $3 trillion at $20 per coin. Additionally, at $50 per DOGE, its market valuation would skyrocket to $7.4 trillion.

As a result, crypto platform Telegaon analysts have set a 25-year timeline for Dogecoin to reach $50 per coin and a 20-year outlook for it to reach $20. As for $10, they believe it could potentially reach that level within the next three years.

Dogecoin Forms Bullish Inverse H&S: Here’s the Short-Term Breakout Target

0

A notable analyst identifies a short-term bullish inverse head and shoulders pattern on the Dogecoin chart, presenting immediate breakout targets.

Notably, Dogecoin (DOGE) has not fared well since February, when the ongoing market-wide downtrend began. For context, after closing January 2025 with a meager 4.28% gain, DOGE dropped 38.69% in February, and by another 17.37% last month, March.

As this bearish pressure persists, the meme coin relinquished the pivotal $0.20 level, which serves as its anchor for a bullish recovery. Now, with Dogecoin battling the bears at $0.17, the asset might be at risk of steeper declines. TradingView analyst MadWhale confirmed this last month.

Dogecoin Forms Inverse H&S Pattern

However, market analyst Trader Tardigrade believes Dogecoin has formed a short-term bullish target that could help it recover the $0.20 support, which has now flipped to resistance. According to the analyst, the meme coin has formed an inverse head and shoulders structure on the 4-hour chart.

For those unfamiliar, the inverse head and shoulders pattern is a bullish structure with a steeper low (the head) in between higher lows (the shoulders). The neckline of the pattern connects the highs between the shoulders, and a breakout is confirmed when prices break above this neckline.

For Dogecoin, Trader Tardigrade’s chart indicates that the left shoulder formed when the meme coin dropped to $0.1658 on March 29. Further, it created the head during the drop to $0.1601 on March 31. Now, the right shoulder has formed with the recent slump to $0.1677 today.

Dogecoin Inverse Head and Shoulders Trader Tardigrade
Dogecoin Inverse Head and Shoulders | Trader Tardigrade

The neckline of this pattern rests on the $0.1760 level. For Dogecoin to confirm the structure, it must break above this region, surpassing the neckline. Notably, the inverse head and shoulders structure typically forms during a downtrend and could signal a potential reversal to the upside.

DOGE Recovery to $2?

Amid the recent bearish turn of events, Dogecoin is largely due for a trend reversal. According to Trader Tardigrade, if this breakout occurs, a run to the $0.20 price mark could ensue in the short term. While this represents a meager 15% increase from the current price of $0.1734, reclaiming $0.20 would be the first step to a broader DOGE rally.

In previous cases, several analysts suggested that as long as the meme coin holds above the $0.2 psychological support, its structure remains in bullish territories and a broader recovery could be in the works.

However, Dogecoin gave up this support in early March, collapsing to a new yearly low of $0.1429 on March 11. Despite a recovery from this floor, the $0.20 has proven difficult to reclaim since then. Last month, analyst Ali Martinez suggested that DOGE could rally to $2 despite the prevalent bearishness.

Japanese Public Game Development Firm Enish Announces Plans to Buy Bitcoin

0

Enish, a prominent Japanese game development and publishing firm, has announced plans to acquire Bitcoin with 100 million yen.

According to a recent local report, the move aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its involvement in blockchain technology, particularly through its game “De Lithe Last Metsoires.”

As crypto continues to gain momentum in various sectors, Enish sees Bitcoin as a strategic asset to enhance its business development and financial portfolio. During this press, a Bitcoin was changing hands at $85,610, per CoinGecko data.

Reasons Behind the Acquisition

Enish’s decision to invest in Bitcoin is rooted in its active engagement with blockchain technology. The company is focused on blockchain games and believes that owning Bitcoin will deepen its understanding of this technology.

Bitcoin, being the most widely recognized crypto, is seen as a significant tool to improve the company’s technical capabilities in game development. Additionally, owning Bitcoin is expected to bring new perspectives to their business operations.

The Acquisition Aim and Plan

Furthermore, Enish sees Bitcoin as part of its broader financial strategy. The acquisition aims to diversify the company’s financial assets while tapping into the potential future gains Bitcoin offers. With its liquidity and stable market size, Bitcoin provides an attractive investment, especially given the anticipated rise in its price.

Enish intends to acquire Bitcoin between April 1 and 4, 2025. The company has planned to invest 100 million yen in the asset, which it will obtain through market purchases on domestic cryptocurrency exchanges.

Further Corporate Bitcoin Purchases

Enish’s move comes amid growing corporate interest in Bitcoin. Data from CryptoQuant shows that public companies added 91,781 BTC to their balance sheets in the first quarter of 2025.

Notably, Tether expanded its holdings by 8,888 BTC, bringing its total to 92,646 BTC. MicroStrategy, a leading corporate Bitcoin investor, also increased its holdings by 81,785 BTC, spending over $8.0 billion in the process.

Other companies have also made significant purchases. The Blockchain Company acquired 605 BTC, while Semler Scientific added 1,108 BTC. Additionally, Metaplanet purchased 2,285 BTC.

Meanwhile, companies like Marathon Digital are raising funds through stock sales to continue purchasing Bitcoin, and GameStop has proposed a $1.3 billion offering to kickstart its Bitcoin strategy.

Franklin Templeton Eyes Launching Bitcoin ETP in Europe

0

Franklin Templeton, one of the largest asset managers globally, is considering launching a Bitcoin exchange-traded product (ETP) in Europe.

The move would make Franklin Templeton the latest traditional asset manager to expand into the digital assets market in response to growing institutional interest.

While the firm has not announced any immediate plans, it is actively monitoring the evolving regulatory environment in Europe and elsewhere to align with client demand for crypto investment products.

Franklin’s Presence in US

The company, with $1.5 trillion in assets under management (AUM), already has an established presence in the crypto sector in the U.S. Its crypto-focused exchange-traded fund (ETF) portfolio, valued at $811 million, includes the Franklin Bitcoin ETF (EZBC).

The EZBC is the firm’s largest product, currently holding $415 million in assets. With this experience in the U.S. market, Franklin Templeton is well-positioned to consider expanding into Europe, where institutional demand for crypto products continues to grow.

Despite the growing interest, the firm emphasizes that any crypto ETP offering in Europe is not imminent. A spokesperson from Franklin Templeton explained that the company is taking a cautious approach and closely monitoring regulatory developments in the region.

This measured stance reflects the firm’s ongoing exploration of new investment products across various asset classes.

Europe’s Expanding Crypto ETP Market

Franklin Templeton’s move comes shortly after BlackRock launched its own crypto ETP in Europe. BlackRock’s entry with the iShares Bitcoin ETP (IB1T) marks a significant expansion into the European digital assets market.

This product, domiciled in Switzerland, offers a Bitcoin strategy backed by actual BTC held in cold storage through Coinbase. The iShares Bitcoin ETP started trading on major European exchanges, including Deutsche Boerse, Euronext Paris, and Euronext Amsterdam.

In December 2024, Bitwise launched a Solana staking ETP in Europe. The product, BSOL, exposes investors to Solana while providing staking rewards through a partnership with Marinade, a Solana staking service provider.
