Top 5 Altcoins Under $1 That Could Explode In The Next Bull Run

0

In the ever-changing landscape of cryptocurrencies, some low-cost coins hold untapped potential. These affordable digital assets, priced under a dollar, may experience explosive growth in the next bullish market. Unearthing these promising tokens could lead to remarkable returns. This article delves into five such altcoins that might soar dramatically in value when the market surges again.

Alpha Meme Coin DOGEN Off to the Moon After Its Major Listing Event

DOGEN, which has recently captured the interest of the crypto community with its bold narrative of the strongest meme coin for alpha males, was listed on February 4th.

The listing comes at the perfect timing as the crypto market is on the brink of a massive bull run supported by favorable geopolitical factors.

Affectionately dubbed “DOGE on steroids” by one community member, DOGEN is poised to replicate the success of popular meme coins such as Dogecoin, which has seen a whopping 66,000% increase compared to its launch price.

Those who bought $DOGEN during the presale got it at a bargain price. However, it is not too late; $DOGEN remains a good value and its price is predicted to increase from here.

Community Driven with Real Value

DOGEN isn’t just a fad; it’s a growing movement with a team dedicated to building a strong community of alpha leaders who are ready to take over the market. This token offers real value, including exciting campaigns and exclusive benefits for early adopters. DOGEN is a chance to be part of something big.

The community-driven presale strategy has enabled DOGEN to raise $5.5 million in initial funding and amass a large community of nearly 20,000 DOGEN fans. This provides a strong foundation for the token to start its mission to the moon successfully.

The $DOGEN private presale has concluded, and the token can now be purchased with SOL on major cryptocurrency exchanges.

DOGEN is heading to the moon! Join the mission and don’t miss out!

TRON (TRX) Set to Surge Amid Upcoming Altcoin Bull Run

TRON (TRX) is trading between $0.21 and $0.25, showing a slight dip recently. Despite a month-long decline of 17.60%, it has soared over 80% in the past six months. The Relative Strength Index is around mid-point, suggesting potential for upward movement. If TRX breaks the nearest resistance at $0.27, it could aim for the next level at $0.31, marking a significant gain. The recent pullback might be a pause before a rally as the altcoin market prepares for a bull run. Traders are eyeing the support at $0.20, expecting a rebound. With momentum indicators stabilizing, TRON could be ready to climb.

Kaspa Gearing Up for a Breakout Amid Bullish Altcoin Market

Kaspa (KAS) is trading between $0.1066 and $0.1296, close to its support at $0.0978. Despite recent drops of over 20% in the past week and month, signs point to potential growth. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 43.11, suggesting it’s not overbought and may have room to rise. If Kaspa surpasses its resistance at $0.1437, it could aim for the next level at $0.1666, offering a possible gain of more than 25%. The 10-day moving average is $0.0962, below the current price, indicating a possible upward trend. With altcoin season on the horizon, Kaspa might be set for a significant rebound.

Stellar (XLM) Set to Soar as Altcoin Season Approaches

Stellar (XLM) is currently trading between $0.31 and $0.42, showing some decline in recent weeks. Despite this, it has more than tripled in value over the past six months. The coin is near its support level at $0.27, suggesting a potential bounce. If it breaks through the resistance at $0.49, it could climb to $0.60, offering substantial gains. Technical indicators show there is room for upward movement. With the anticipated arrival of altcoin season and a global crypto bull run, Stellar might be poised for significant growth in the near future.

VeChain Poised for Growth Amid Altcoin Season Prospects

VeChain’s price has recently dipped, showing a decrease of over 26% in the past week and more than 37% in the past month. However, over the last six months, it has increased by nearly half. The current price hovers near the lower end of its recent range, close to the immediate support level. If VeChain can rally and surpass its nearest resistance at around five cents, it could target higher levels, possibly reaching its second resistance near seven cents. This would represent a significant percentage gain from current levels. With indicators like the RSI suggesting the coin is not overbought, and the prospect of an altcoin season, VeChain may have room to grow.

Conclusion

KAS, XLM, and DOGE might have less potential in the short term. DOGEN, however, is crafted for those seeking the best in life, symbolizing luxury and success. Expected to grow 700% by the presale’s end, with potential thousand-fold returns, DOGEN is building a community of market leaders offering real benefits to early adopters.

XRP Posts Historic $1 Gain in a Day, Analyst Projects $5 Price Swing Next

0

Commentators in the XRP community have highlighted how XRP registered a $1 price swing shortly after a devastating price slump.

Market data confirms that XRP recorded an intraday low of $1.771 on Monday, particularly on the Binance exchange. Notably, this dip occurred at 02:05 AM on February 3, marking a nine-week low for XRP.

The impact of this dip was particularly felt in the XRP derivatives market. Citing data from Coinglass, analyst Chad Steingraber pointed out that February 3 saw the largest single-day liquidation in XRP’s history.

At least $74.67 million was wiped out from bullish traders across various exchanges, while bears lost $28.28 million. Cumulatively, the XRP market saw approximately $103 million in liquidations.

XRP Posts $1 Price Swing with 57% Comeback

Meanwhile, XRP began a recovery rally on the same day, shortly after the drop to $1.771. By 08:00 PM, XRP had rallied back to $2.781 on Binance, regaining $1 after the major dip. This turnaround marked a significant 57% pump within a 24-hour window.

Market watchers like Steingraber and Dom took to X to celebrate the feat, calling attention to XRP’s resilience. Analyst Dom noted that XRP spent seven years hovering around $0.40, but it surged by $1.30 in just two days.

He highlighted that the recent 48-hour fluctuation for long-term holders was three times the value of their initial investment.

Furthermore, Dom pointed out that in just 14 hours, XRP progressed by 90 cents—doubling the value of a portfolio that had been stagnant for years. He emphasized that this serves as a reminder of how quickly the XRP market can shift. “Let that sink in,” he said.

XRP to Target $5 Price Swing Next

Although XRP has retraced slightly from $2.78, it continues to defend most of its gains at press time, trading at $2.60.

Meanwhile, Steingraber suggested that with the recent milestone, XRP could be targeting a $5 price swing. Notably, XRP would need to post a 192.4% rally from its current level to add $5 to its price, bringing its prevailing value to $7.60.

Interestingly, XRP would have a market cap of $433.2 billion at this price—an amount sufficient to surpass Ethereum and position XRP as the second-biggest crypto asset, only behind Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Transaction Activity Hits Lowest Level Since March 2024: Digital Gold Proof?

0

CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju argues that Bitcoin is digital gold, not peer-to-peer electronic cash.

A defining question in Bitcoin‘s over a decade long history has been whether the asset was meant to function as digital gold or electronic cash. This question was among the key contentions in one of Bitcoin’s most tumultuous moments: the block size war that led to forks like Bitcoin Cash.

Recently, this question has again been put in focus amid recent network data.

Bitcoin Transaction Activity Plummets

CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju has argued that Bitcoin is digital gold, not peer-to-peer electronic cash.

The analyst expressed this view on Tuesday, February 4, in response to recent network data suggesting low activity.

Specifically, CryptoQuant Head of Research Julio Moreno recently shared data showing that Bitcoin’s mempool, the place where transactions go to wait to be processed, was largely empty, and overall network transaction activity had fallen to its lowest level since March 2024.

Reacting to the data, Young Ju asserted:

“Proof that Bitcoin is Digital Gold, not P2P Electronic Cash.”

This view comes as Bitcoin’s low transaction volumes suggest that the asset is being purchased as an investment and not to facilitate regular payments.

At the same time, gold tends to have relatively low transaction frequency compared to traditional equities. It is often purchased to be held for the long term due to its scarcity, which has made it a globally recognizable store of value. This is another feature that proponents of the idea that Bitcoin is digital gold often stress that both assets have in common.

Meanwhile, champions of this narrative often go further to argue that Bitcoin is the superior asset, citing its 24/7 liquidity and lack of intermediaries.

This narrative has frequently been used as a battering ram in the calls for greater corporate and nation-state adoption of the asset.

Not the Original Intent?

Despite being the prevailing narrative today, some have contended that this was not the original intention behind Bitcoin’s creation.

Indeed, the title of the asset’s widely celebrated white paper reads: “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.”

Still, “Satoshi Nakamoto,” the asset’s creator, did seem to account for a future where Bitcoin could be viewed as a store of value as its fixed supply was designed to prevent debasement.

Comparing the scarcity of Bitcoin’s supply to gold, they argued that if such a narrative caught on, it could make sense to hold on to some coins.

Nonetheless, at the time of writing, Bitcoin’s price action suggests that investors see it more like a tech stock than a store of value on par with gold.

In the latest instance highlighting this, gold has recorded new highs amid the economic uncertainty sparked by President Donald Trump’s tariffs. On the other hand, Bitcoin’s price experienced a dip in correlation with traditional equities.

Cardano Whales Yet to Buy Back After Offloading 330M ADA Despite Market Rebound: Here’s Why

0

Cardano whales have offloaded 330 million ADA, showing reluctance to buy back despite a market rebound, signaling a bearish outlook.

Cardano (ADA) has faced increasing bearish pressure since December, struggling to maintain its bullish momentum. The crypto attempted to push past the $1.23 resistance level but failed to sustain upward movement, leading to a retreat.

Meanwhile, ADA recently regained traction amid a broader market rebound, recording an 8.36% increase in the past 24 hours. As of the latest update, Cardano is trading at $0.7636.

Declining Cardano Whale Holdings

An analysis by Ali Martinez confirms the bearish behavior among large Cardano holders. Wallets containing between 100 million and 1 billion ADA have reduced their holdings substantially.

The analysis indicates that these whales offloaded over 330 million ADA over the last two days. He shared a chart illustrating a clear downtrend in whale holdings since mid-January.

Martinez noted that these major holders have yet to re-accumulate ADA after massively dumping the token amid the global trade war on Monday. Their reluctance to buyback suggests a lack of confidence in ADA’s short-term performance.

Shifts in Ownership Distribution

A separate chart from IntoTheBlock provides insights into the shifting ownership structure of Cardano. The data reveals changes in holdings among whales, investors, and retail traders.

Whales, identified as the most influential holders, reduced their ADA ownership by 1.68%. Their peak participation coincided with previous market rallies, such as the 2021 bull run, but has since declined steadily.

Meanwhile, mid-tier investors increased their holdings by 1.60%, suggesting a redistribution of ADA from whales to this category. Retail traders also saw a 0.72% increase in their holdings.

Extreme Declines in Large Holder Positions

Further analysis of ADA’s ownership trends from November reveals a drop in large holdings. The seven-day change reflects a 90.29% decline in whale-controlled ADA.

Over 30 days, the decline reached 94.46%, signifying a major reduction in whale positions. Over the last 90 days, holdings plummeted by 7,284.93%, showing a prolonged pattern of whale distribution.

Coinbase Pushes to Foster Crypto Collaboration With Banks With New Letter to Regulators

0

Coinbase is again nudging US regulators to allow the traditional banking sector to interact with the crypto industry.

The exchange sent a correspondence to three top US bank watchdogs, seeking their endorsement to foster partnerships between financial institutions and crypto companies. As Bloomberg reported, the letter urged the regulators to reconsider their stance and allow a smoother relationship between the two sectors.

Coinbase Seeks to Shatter Regulatory Barriers

The exchange addressed the communication to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Reserve Board of Governors (Fed), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC). Coinbase vied for the federal agencies to allow banks to offer crypto-related services, including custody.

Bloomberg reported that Coinbase asked the OCC to retract an earlier letter to financial institutions discouraging new sectors like crypto firms from interacting with banks. It insisted that such a de facto rule impeded fostering a relationship between banks and digital asset firms.

Furthermore, the crypto exchange demanded that the Fed and FDIC confirm that state-chartered banks under the agencies could provide both crypto custody and transaction execution services.

Exchange Says Existing Laws Allow Commingling

Coinbase’s chief policy officer, Faryar Shirzad, stated that the Coinbase letter sought to clarify that the agencies followed existing laws. He noted that existing federal regulations already allowed banks to commingle with cryptocurrency firms, and the letter was just to confirm compliance.

Faryar reiterated Coinbase’s proactiveness in ensuring that regulatory tides continue to fall in place for crypto firms. Specifically, he mentioned that the leading exchange is committed to ensuring that the hurdles withholding crypto firms from broader participation in the financial institutions fall through.

Notably, Fed chair Jerome Powell recently stated that no laws hindered financial institutions from servicing crypto entities. After announcing the decision to keep interest rates unchanged, he noted that they can “perfectly service” digital asset institutions as long as they follow the rules.

Meanwhile, crypto industries have made considerable progress in fighting the “debanking” myth following Donald Trump’s inauguration. For context, under a new look, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has repealed the Staff Accounting Bulletin (SAB 121) that stopped banks from holding digital assets.

Cardano Yoroi Wallet Users to Earn ADA Rewards From Walmart Purchases

0

Cardano-based light wallet, Yoroi Wallet, announces plans to integrate with Walmart to allow users to earn ADA cashback whenever they purchase goods from the retail store.

Bring, a popular white-label cashback platform, announced the development yesterday on X. According to the post, Walmart will soon be integrated with Yoroi Wallet, enabling users to shop for different items like fashion products, electronics, and groceries.

Cardano Cashback Rewards

The upcoming integration comes with a special incentive, allowing shoppers to earn ADA cashback on their purchases.

“From household items to the latest tech gadgets, Walmart has everything you need. Soon, your shopping will be more rewarding than ever,” Bring stated in the X post.

The upcoming collaboration between Walmart and Yoroi will enable customers to earn a percentage of every amount they spend on the retail outlet, which will be distributed in ADA coins.

This initiative tends to reward users’ shopping experience, as shoppers will enjoy the value of their purchase while receiving additional cashback rewards in ADA.

Cashback to Launch on Desktop

In a separate post, Yoroi’s official handle disclosed that users will initially earn ADA cashback on their Walmart purchases through the wallet’s desktop extension. However, the post noted that the initiative will soon go live without revealing a specific date.

Cardano cashback annoucement

For context, the upcoming ADA cashback reward program on Walmart is part of an initial partnership between Yoroi and Bring, funded by the Cardano Catalyst program.

As previously reported, this collaboration enabled shoppers to earn ADA rewards as cashback when shopping on 775 retail platforms worldwide, including JBL, Samsonite, Vaio, and StockX. Now, the partners are adding Walmart to the retail platforms, where users can shop and earn ADA cashback.

It is worth noting that users must activate the rewards feature manually via a single click on their Yoroi Wallets. Afterward, they would receive a portion of their spending cost in ADA coins, irrespective of their payment methods.

The move aligns with the growing trend of incorporating crypto-based cashback into everyday purchases. Last year, leading crypto exchange WhiteBIT partnered with Visa to launch a crypto debit card that enables users to earn 10% cashback rewards for their everyday spending.

Giant Whale Bets $10M on MELANIA Meme Coin Amid ‘Most Hated Rally’ Predictions

0

Crypto whales are turning their attention to the MELANIA meme coin, loading up their bags and positioning for what some believe will be “the most hated rally.”

In a tweet today, market analytics resource Lookonchain pointed out that a mysterious whale created a new wallet just hours ago and withdrew $10 million in USDC from Binance. The whale then used the funds to acquire 6.69 million MELANIA tokens at $1.50 each.

This major capital commitment from a deep-pocket investor comes at a time when MELANIA is trading near an all-time low. This signals a belief in an imminent price pump.

MELANIA Meme Coin Performance

Notably, MELANIA is a Solana-based meme coin launched by Melania Trump, the wife of the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump. The coin launched following the dramatic success of Donald Trump’s official meme coin, TRUMP.

While TRUMP saw a massive 410X increase within 24 hours of its launch, MELANIA aimed to capitalize on the same frenzy. However, it experienced minimal success.

MELANIA’s price dropped to an all-time low of $1.35 on Monday. At its current price of $1.69, it has suffered a massive 87% loss from its all-time high of $13.73.

Whale Buying Could Trigger the “Most Hated Rally”

While many in the crypto community have written off the MELANIA meme token, liquidating their holdings after consecutive days of losses, some believe the token has reached its absolute bottom and could begin a consistent uptrend from here. This optimism may be influencing the recent whale.

Commenting on the latest buy position, X user Dave Bunattol stated that the “most hated rally” for the MELANIA meme token will arrive soon. Indeed, this expectation is slowly beginning to play out.

In particular, the whale who recently purchased 6.69 million MELANIA tokens from Binance is already in a profitable position.

At press time, MELANIA is up 20%, and the whale’s holding is currently worth $11.3 million. Specifically, this translates to an unrealized gain of $1.3 million from their recent investment in the coin.

Call Not to Sell MELANIA Until $20

In a separate comment, analyst Sergio warned market participants that a trend change is imminent for the MELANIA token. He advised against selling before the price reaches $20.

According to him, some will attempt to shake small investors out of the market on the way to this target. “Do not give in to these manipulations,” he said.

US Lawmaker Amasses Ethereum Amid Recent Price Crash Below $3,000

0

U.S. Representative Michael Collins has expanded his crypto portfolio again, making a fresh Ethereum purchase amid the latest price drop.

According to a recent financial disclosure picked up by Unusual Whales, Rep. Collins acquired between $1,000 and $15,000 worth of Ethereum (ETH) and invested an additional $30,000 in Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL). The accumulation comes on the back of a broader market collapse, with ETH losing the $3,000 mark.

Interestingly, this recent move comes shortly after the U.S. lawmaker offloaded his previous VIRTUAL holdings. Notably, following a past VIRTUAL purchase, the token’s value plunged by an estimated 38%, triggering what could be considered a panic sale.

As the market stabilized, Collins has procured another batch of VIRTUAL, seizing the opportunity to scoop up more ETH along the way. The latest purchases are part of Collins’ engagement with the crypto market, with multiple transactions over the past year.

A History of Crypto Investments

Particularly, Collins has been actively investing in crypto assets since early 2024. His Ethereum purchases began in January 2024 when he acquired ETH on two separate occasions, Jan. 3 and Jan. 8, totaling about $65,000. Later in October 2024, he resumed buying Ethereum.

Beyond Ethereum, Collins has diversified his portfolio with various crypto assets. On July 6, 2024, he purchased Aerodrome Finance (AERO) when its price was around $0.519. His investment paid off as AERO surged nearly 50% to $0.7719. Collins made another purchase on Nov. 3, 2024.

Further, on June 24, 2024, he sold an unspecified amount of Velodrome (VELO) at $0.097 per token, with the transaction valued between $1,000 and $15,000. Meanwhile, his purchase of The Graph (GRT), a decentralized indexing protocol, was worth about $15,000.

WLFI Scooping up Ethereum

While Collins continues accumulating Ethereum, the Trump-inspired World Liberty Financial (WLFI) project has also shown interest in ETH. The firm recently unstaked 19,423 ETH and followed up by acquiring an additional 1,826 ETH.

Notably, amid these large transactions, Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, has publicly encouraged investors to buy Ethereum. He has emphasized that the current dip below $3,000 presents an ideal buying opportunity for long-term holders.

Pro-Crypto Trump Administration Fuels Lawmaker Interest

Meanwhile, Collins is not the only U.S. lawmaker delving into crypto investments. More politicians are showing interest in crypto assets as the pro-crypto Trump administration takes office.

The president has made important changes in leadership at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Last December, U.S. Rep. Guy Reschenthaler bought XRP worth $1,000 to $15,000, making him the first sitting lawmaker to disclose an investment in XRP.

Here’s Why the Bitcoin Top is Not Yet In

0

Prominent crypto analyst “Crypto Rover” asserts that the Bitcoin top is not yet in.

Following Bitcoin‘s impressive run in Q4 2024, its price has largely stalled save for a mild run in the days leading up to President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Despite this price action, analysts maintain that the asset’s price has not hit a cycle top and still has room to grow.

This view has again been reiterated amid recent market volatility brought on by Trump’s recent tariff decisions.

Halving to Cycle Peak

Prominent crypto analyst “Crypto Rover” has asserted that the Bitcoin top is not in yet.

The analyst expressed this view in a recent X post, citing the Dune Analytics “Halving to Cycle Peak” chart by Hashdex Research Lead Lucas Santana. The chart shows how long it took Bitcoin to reach a cycle top after each halving.

Halving to Cycle Peak chart

The halving refers to an event that occurs roughly every four years, which reduces Bitcoin’s issuance through mining rewards by half.

Per the chart, Bitcoin has typically topped out over 500 days after this event. In the second cycle, it was 524 days, and in the third, it was 545 days. At just 290 days past the last halving, which occurred on April 19, 2024, Crypto Rover believes that the asset’s price still has significant room for growth.

He is, however, not the only analyst to reiterate this view in recent times. On Tuesday, February 4, prominent trader “IncomeSharks” suggested that Bitcoin may be gearing up for another significant leg up in the coming days, citing the asset’s historical price action following the U.S. presidential elections.

Historically, the asset has witnessed a correction in January following the election, but the market expects another leg up in February. The analyst further suggested that this time, the asset likely has an additional catalyst in the form of Trump’s pro-crypto agenda.

Beyond the historical price action, IncomeSharks has also asserted that Bitcoin is showing significant strength, citing the On Balance Volume, a technical analysis indicator used to gauge buying and selling pressure.

According to the analyst, buying pressure has become stronger following the recent tariff-triggered drop and is now at levels not seen in a long time.

However, Bitcoin is trading just above the $99,000 price point at the time of writing.

Top Analyst Says Dogecoin Set for $4 Rally After Completing Major 58% Correction

0

Multiple analysts argue Dogecoin is poised to begin its next leg up as historical corrections align once more.

Dogecoin has seen a notable price movement, surging over 6% following President Donald Trump’s decision to halt tariffs on Canada and Mexico.

Despite this recovery, Dogecoin still trades with a significant 21% discount from its weekly highs. At press time, Dogecoin is changing hands at $0.2623.

Amid the recent fluctuation and resurgence, analysts are closely monitoring Dogecoin’s price movements, with a focus on its historical bull cycles. A recent analysis by an X user, Kevin, highlights a comparison between Dogecoin’s recent correction and one from the previous cycle.

Specifically, Kevin argued that Dogecoin has completed its second major cycle dip, setting the stage for a major rebound.

Dogecoin Historical Patterns Aligning with Promising Upside

The previous bull cycle from 2020 to 2021 experienced two major corrections before an upward surge. Similarly, per Kevin, the current bull cycle from 2023 to 2025 appears to be following a similar pattern.

The first major correction in the previous cycle saw a 56% drop, whereas the current cycle recorded a steeper 65% decline, falling by $0.15029 from local highs. Notably, this occurred between March and September 2024.

Meanwhile, the second major correction in the previous cycle registered a 56.8% drop. In the current cycle, Dogecon’s second major pullback, the most recent case, saw a 58.18% decline, plummeting by $0.28104 from local highs.

These similarities suggest that Dogecoin’s trajectory could mirror past price movements. The analyst indicated that Dogecoin could see a strong recovery if all goes well with Bitcoin. Notably, he has set his sight at lofty heights, around the $4 price for Dogecoin.

Views of Other Market Watchers For Dogecoin Rebound

Further, another market observer, using the pseudonym Wizz, shared an outlook on Dogecoin’s future price movements. The analyst emphasized that a major capitulation event could be unfolding, predicting that weak hands would exit the market.

The analysis suggested that Dogecoin could surpass the $1 mark, reinforcing bullish sentiment among market participants.

Meanwhile, another commentator, Trader Tardigrade, identified a key momentum shift in Dogecoin’s price action. Observing a four-hour timeframe, the trader highlighted a bullish MACD crossover, a widely recognized technical indicator that signals a potential uptrend.

In particular, Tardigrade noted that the crossover suggests Dogecoin is gaining upward momentum and could be on the verge of another bull run.

A separate analysis from January 31 reaffirmed expectations of a significant rally for Dogecoin. The analysis projected that DOGE could reach $3.80 in this market cycle.

The chart analysis indicated that Dogecoin historically surpassed its previous cycle highs after breaking key resistance levels. He anticipated that DOGE would soon follow a similar trajectory. He speculated its value could climb over 1,000% from the price recorded during his analysis.
