Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has announced that Tesla-branded vehicles can now be purchased directly with Bitcoin.

Elon Musk said Tesla is running its Bitcoin node and transactions will be done through an open-source software. The company will not convert the Bitcoin it receives into fiat money and will store them in its reserve as BTC.
Tesla is using only internal & open source software & operates Bitcoin nodes directly.
Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be retained as Bitcoin, not converted to fiat currency.

Currently limited only to the United States, the service is expected to be available to different countries later in the year.

Customers can now see Bitcoin among their payment options when buying on the Tesla website. In a document filed with the SEC in early February, Tesla said it could receive payments in cryptocurrency.
