In his last tweet, Mr. Salinas Pliego wrote that he loved the book “The Mobile Wave”, written by Michael Sailor in 2012. In this best-selling book, Mr. Sailor analyzes “mobile intelligence” as the fifth global wave of computing technology.

He said:

“Loved your book “The mobile wave”… Way back then you had great vision. I really hope your big “all in” bet with MicroStrategy pays off. BALLS OF STEEL.”

Back then Saylor predicted that mobile devices will completely change the way people work, live, spend money and interact with each other. Among other things, he foresaw that cash would become virtual software.

The bitcoin tycoon claims the MicroStrategy CEO’s vision was “excellent.” He also hopes the monstrous bet of Sailor on bitcoin will pay off.

Michael responded to the Ricardo Salinas Pliego tweet saying:

“Thank you. The next chapter of “The Mobile Wave” is Bitcoin and Lightning on billions of mobile devices, providing digital property rights and economic empowerment to everyone on earth. It will be the most exciting chapter yet…”

Currently MicroStrategy under the leadership of Saylor holds over 105,000 bitcoins, which is 0.5 percent of the BTC supply. According to the Bitcoin Treasuries, the value of the Bitcoin MicroStrategy bet is still up 30 percent despite a significant drop in the price of Bitcoin.

Saylor is confident that this phase of the digital revolution will lead to “economic empowerment” for all people around the world, and calls it “the most exciting chapter.”
