Randi Zuckerberg is a big name in Silicon Valley and beyond that, she appears to be pretty excited about Shiba Inu’s recent developments, saying that SHIB is now extremely popular.

In a recent video, Randi Zuckerberg talked about what cryptocurrencies and meme tokens are. Randi explained that these projects were born as a joke, but over time gained a lot of reputation and became valuable investments.

While explaining about these projects, she said that Shiba Inu (SHIB) was born as the “Dogecoin Killer”, and was viewed as just a joke in the beginning, but now it has gone viral and become mainstream.

“Shiba Inu was launched as a doge killer as a joke because appearently there is only room for one weird token based on a certain breed of dog, i don’t even know there was room for one of those but appreantly there is room for two because SHIBA also went viral became main stream, i think its up something like 90 million percent up from the intial launch is the craziest thing i have ever seen.”

She told that other than these two meme coins, there are plenty of meme coins like Shiba Inu Girlfriend that originated after SHIB’s popularity.

She said that Influencers like Elon Musk’s tweets can make these meme coins go parabolic as we have seen in Dogecoin. According to her, this is not necessarily a bad thing for the business person, if he/she knows how to invest carefully, So investing in meme coins you can “have a little fun” with your portfolio.

“If you’re experimenting with cryptocurrencies and buying tokens, having some fun with your cryptocurrencies, definitely buy the big coins plus get some of the Meme Coins.”

She also warns that it is important to know how to invest in crypto, stating that it is necessary to have a good portfolio and not to put all your money in one single crypto.

“Remember: Whatever you’re going to do, you need a portfolio. I would never recommend anyone to buy everything on SHIB, don’t do this! Don’t watch this video and think ‘Randi told me to put everything in DOGE or SHIB, you need to have a diversified portfolio with coins belonging to different categories like Metaverse, Web 3, Blockhcians, Utility tokens, etc.”

Having someone like Randy talking about these cryptocurrencies in this way is a very positive thing for SHIB, which shows the crypto is treated beyond its meme status.

Recently the South Korean exchange OKCoin hired Randy Zuckerberg as head of the brand’s advisory council to help attract more women to the cryptocurrency industry.
