Sylvester Stallone “John Rambo” to Launch His NFTs With Credit Card Purchase Option 

The popular American movie veteran also delves into the world of non-fungible tokens.

Sylvester Stallone, popularly known as John Rambo, is no longer new to the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Easy Access to SLY NFTs

However, what is new is the fact that fans of the popular Hollywood star will be allowed to purchase the upcoming PlanetSLY NFT using their credit cards later this month.

According to a press release shared today by the movie star, the initiative will be rolled out on June 22, 2022, giving fans the ability to use Crossmint, an easy-to-use tool for anyone to mint NFT in one minute to own the digital collectible.

Following the development, Stallone’s fans will not have to go through the rigorous process of creating a wallet and purchasing cryptocurrencies before they can participate in the NFT drop scheduled for later this month.

The press release noted that they require their email and credit card to become owners of the SLYGUY NFT.

Commenting on the development, Fernandez Touza, Co-Founder of Crossmint, said:

“We strongly believe that NFTs are much more than pictures. NFTs have massive untapped potential and utility. Celebrities like Mr. Stallone are fundamental to introducing the technology to the 99.9% of people who have never had exposure to it.”

Touza noted that with many people still lacking exposure to the nascent asset class due to the cumbersome process of owning these collections, Stallone has chosen to simplify the ways to acquire the asset class by supporting credit card purchases.

PlanetSLY was first introduced in March 2022, which gave fans the opportunity to join the SLY-list for early access. The NFT features 9,997 unique digital art pieces designed as part of efforts to celebrate the life and achievement of Stallone.

While some NFTs will only feature exclusive images of Stallone, others will grant holders access to holders, allowing them to interact with the movie star. Fans who own the exclusive SLYGUY NFTs can also have dinner with Stallone in Florida.

It is worth noting that the limited edition of PlanetSLY comprises both blockchain and in-real life (IRL) collectibles. Notably, the SLYGUY NFT was curated by Stallone with the intention of giving his fans the opportunity to become a part of his digital collectible community.
