Shiba Inu Holders Can Now Spend Their Crypto On BestBuy.
Crypto payment provider BitPay now allows Shiba Inu holders to spend SHIB on BestBuy through gift cards.
According to an announcement today, customers can now shop and pay for electronics such as television, gaming consoles, cameras, and albums available on BestBuy using gift cards with the Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies via Bitpay.
“Now available! Spend your crypto at BestBuy with a gift card instantly. Best Buy gift cards now available,” BitPay tweeted on Friday.
Best Buy Co. Inc. is an American multinational consumer electronics retailer headquartered in Richfield, Minnesota.
BitPay adopted Shiba Inu last year to let businesses accept Shib as payment; Bitpay also enabled the ShibaArmy to pay for goods and services in its merchants worldwide.
In June, The Crypto Basic reported that BitPay announced that users can now pay for Apple products using Shiba Inu, increasing the adoption of the token.
Apple users can use SHIB to purchase their favorite products, including MacBooks and iPhones.
Over the years, the Shib has been adopted by several firms as a payment method for goods and services. Some of these firms are AMC Theatres, APMEX, Twitch, Jomashop, and Carolina Hurricanes.
