Shiba Inu’s metaverse team releases the first official images of the WAGMI Temple hub.
The images were shared during the Ryo Plaza Fireside chat in the early hours of today. Participants of the event expected the team to share the first concept of Ryo Plaza. However, the metaverse team surprised everyone by revealing the first official look of the WAGMI Temple.
“…we did want to travel back to WAGMI Temple and give everyone a first look at the Hub within the world!” the team noted.
WAGMI Temple
It is worth noting that the team shared the first concept of the WAGMI Temple hub in September. Shiba Inu’s metaverse team noted that the architectural design of the digital location was derived from different cities, including Beijing’s Temple of Heaven. Interestingly, within three months, the team transformed the hub from being a concept into a reality.
Commenting on the development, Brandie Konopasek, an entertainment veteran, added to Shiba Inu’s metaverse team in September; @brandiekono said: “Official photo release of Wagmi! It’s been incredible to bring this from concept to reality. These are direct pulls from the environment from within the Shib metaverse.”
Since the release of the first look of WAGMI Temple, SHIB enthusiasts have taken to the comment section to applaud the team for the beautiful design.
Better than expected. Thanks for all your hard work and keeping the community involved

Notably, members of the SHIBArmy have suspected that the metaverse will be built using Unreal Engine. The team behind the project gave several hints that it would use Unreal Engine in SHIB: The Metaverse’s development,
In July, Shiba Inu’s lead developer Shytoshi Kusama shared a hint about SHIB: The Metaverse on Discord, saying the project will look “unreal.” However, despite several inquiries, he did not share enough details about how “unreal” the project would look. Following Shiba Inu’s partnership with development studio The Third Floor, the company revealed its Unreal Engine experience in a statement, saying:
“TTF’s rapid prototyping, powered by real-time processing and creative iteration in Unreal Engine, will take ideas and looks from concepts into 3D prototypes.”
Launched last month, Unreal Engine 5.1 is the latest iteration of Unreal Engine. Unreal Engine developers said the version was designed with the groundbreaking feature set introduced in UE5, thus making it more versatile, efficient, and robust for creators in diverse industries.
“We’ve laid the groundwork for the Lumen dynamic global illumination and reflections system, the Nanite virtualized micro-polygon geometry system, and Virtual Shadow Maps (VSM) to support games and experiences running at 60 fps on next-gen consoles and capable PCs, enabling fast-paced competitive games and detailed simulations to run without latency,” Unreal Engine team said.
