ChangeNOW announces support for Shiba Inu L2 Network.

ChangeNow, a New York-based Instant crypto exchange service, plans to support Shabarium, a layer-2 blockchain network based on the Ethereum ecosystem designed to scale transactions in the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector.

In a Twitter announcement on April 27, 2023, the exchange said it’s a proponent of the Shiba Inu protocol, allowing users to buy and trade its native crypto asset SHIB, BONE, and LEASE.

Aside from allowing users to buy and sell Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, ChangeNOW said it has helped educate the public about the practical applications of Shiba Inu tokens by producing various educational campaigns and informative content.

The materials help users make informed decisions before purchasing the assets.

ChangeNOW Prepares to Adopt Shibarium

With the launch of Shibarium on the way, the company plans to extend its support to the layer-2 scaling solution, which is currently in the beta phase.  The exchange intends to incorporate the protocol into its platform.

“ChangeNOW is excited to announce that we are planning to integrate Shibarium! We are confident that we will be ahead of other big exchanges in integrating and supporting Shibarium,” the company said.

The company’s plans also include becoming an official Shibarium partner, noting that it has received a welcome email from Shytoshi Kusama approving its application.

In addition to partnering with the protocol, the exchange revealed that it’s working to provide its platform with the tools and infrastructure needed to adopt Shibarium and to enable it to extend support to other tokens and projects deployed on the network.

Meanwhile, ChangeNOW is one of the many companies planning to integrate Shibarium into their platforms at launch.

Earlier this month, TheCryptoBasic reported that NOWPayments, a crypto-focused payment processor, said it would adopt the layer-2 protocol upon debut.

Other companies, such as NowNodes, a crypto infrastructure provider, and Exodus Wallet, a non-custodial wallet, have also shown interest in adopting Shibarium.
