Shiba Inu Confirms Thrilling Releases Coming in Summer of Shibarium

As the Shibarium mainnet launch draws near, the Shiba Inu development team promises to pave the way with strategic releases and updates.

Shiba Inu’s layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium, remains a highly anticipated development among community members. According to disclosures and hints shared over the past weeks by the Shiba Inu development team, led by Shytoshi Kusama, the Shibarium mainnet launch is around the corner.

The Summer of Shibarium

“The Summer of Shibarium has arrived,” the Shiba Inu team announced on Saturday via the project’s official Twitter account. This phase represents the buildup to the mainnet launch of Shibarium, expected to occur in August during the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto.

As part of the latest announcement, the team confirmed the rollout of many strategic updates and exciting releases during this Summer of Shibarium in preparation for the mainnet launch of the L2 solution, which promises to scale and reduce transaction fees on the Shiba Inu network.

While the development team concealed these planned releases, it bears noting that the SHIB token website was recently rebranded to incorporate more project details, including official partners and ecosystem projects.

Shibarium Anticipation Intensifies

Reactions to this latest update portrayed increased anticipation from the ShibArmy. While several members merely expressed their excitement, some speculated that the SHIB price would significantly skyrocket post-mainnet launch of Shibarium.

Amid these price projections, a user named Malik Sudais recommended that the Shiba Inu team seal more strategic partnerships to push SHIB towards the $1 price point. As reported by The Crypto Basic, Bad Idea AI became the project’s eighth official partner.

Notably, the increased anticipation for Shibarium further stems from a recent teaser shared by SHIB’s lead developer Shytoshi Kusama. More so, the project’s marketing specialist Lucie said hundreds of projects would join the Shiba Inu ecosystem when Shibarium launches.
