Binance Card Adds Support For Shiba Inu Enabling 60 Million Plus Merchants To Accept Shib As Payment

0

Binance Card Is Now Supporting Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Shiba Inu Twitter also shared the achievement.

Binance Card users can now spend SHIB as Binance adds them to the list of supported coins.

Binance has been known to come up with pretty innovative ideas that work to both expand its market reach and improve its user experience. From creating apps, supporting DeFi staking, and now coming up with Binance Card. Binance Card has been a huge advancement, especially since it enables some of the most marginalized populations, like the Ukrainian refugees, to access its digital services and transact flawlessly amid increasing domestic pressures.

Now, the exchange has announced that it will be adding XRP and SHIB to the list of supported tokens on the Binance Card. This is a great step forward especially considering that the two tokens have gained massive popularity and adoption of late. This is despite the SEC accusations facing XRP.

The SHIB Community Is Excited

Following the announcement, the SHIB community appeared excited. The official Twitter handle of SHIB promptly announced the good news. The Binance Card will be available to SHIB fans and users across Europe.

With this new provision, SHIB users can now transact with the token at over 60 million merchant spots across the world. There’s also a special offer of up to 8% cashback with no annual or FX fees charged.

The development comes after Milkshake, the Shib Marketing team official member, discussed Shib utility and growth possibilities with Binance.

Points To Note

According to the related announcement issued on the Binance website, there are a few rules to be adhered to by Binance Card users. At the moment, Binance Card is only available to users in EEA (European Economic Area) countries as well as Ukrainian refugees living in those countries. Also, users must have six priority tokens on their Binance Card, with the max number being 12 token choices.

Attorney John Deaton Indirectly Highlights Ripple’s (XRP) Superiority Over Bitcoin (BTC) in Payments

The Amici Curiae attorney reiterates Ripple’s payment capabilities.

Attorney John Deaton has once again buttressed Ripple’s (XRP) prowess in payments using a recent event that occurred at his company, the Deaton Law Firm.

Deaton said his law firm recently hired two lawyers who would work for him as independent contractors in crypto. After the necessary negotiations, he chose to pay them for their services using digital currencies.

According to Deaton, one of the lawyers has an account on Coinbase, and he had to pay him in Bitcoin (BTC). The other lawyer had an Uphold account and he was paid in Ripple (XRP) for his service.

While one of the lawyers has already received the funds in his account, the other lawyer is still waiting for confirmation, Deaton added.

Deaton Indirectly Shades BTC

Although Deaton did not state which lawyer is still waiting for confirmation, it is clear that the lawyer who requested to be paid in XRP got the funds on time.

Ripple is one of the fastest payment methods in the world, as transactions are settled on the XRP Ledger in 3-5 seconds.

The same cannot be said about Bitcoin, which usually takes long before transactions are settled. Sometimes it can take over an hour for transactions to be settled on the Bitcoin network.

Interestingly, Deaton has cleverly used the tweet to showcase XRP’s superiority over Bitcoin in payment.

Deaton’s tweet comes a few days after he blasted cryptocurrency media outlet Cointelegraph for excluding XRP in its recent poll to determine the best cross-border payment option.

In the poll, Cointelegraph listed BTC and stablecoins as the best cross-border payment options. Deaton said the Cointelegraph poll is biased against Ripple.

“This poll shows a complete bias against #XRP. How could you credibly offer this poll, list #BTC & stablecoins, but not #XRP? Since 2015 @Ripple has pushed the adoption of #XRP for cross-border payments. It was utilized with @MoneyGram and is actively being used by dozens of companies,” he said.

His Unwavering Support for XRP

Deaton is known to be a strong advocate for Ripple. He has never ceased to throw his weight behind the cryptocurrency whenever the opportunity arises.

Attorney Deaton is the counsel for Amici Curiae in the ongoing lawsuit between the SEC and Ripple.

Bitmex Founder Says He Is Willing To Sell Fiat For Ethereum, As ETH Is Trading 76% Below His Model Price of $2815

BitMex and 100x leverage Founder Arthur Hayes Super Bullish On Ethereum As The Merge Edges Closer. Arthur Hayes says he is  “MAX BIDDING” on Ether.

In his latest medium blog post, Arthur Hayes expressed very bullish sentiments on Ethereum, saying “MAX BIDDING Ether” and “MAX SELLING Fiat.”

According to Hayes, as of Thursday, Ethereum futures were grossly undervalued. For example, Hayes noted that the Deribit 31 March 2023 ETH/USD futures contract was trading at $1,587, 44% below his model future price of $2,815.

“If ETH is currently trading 76% cheaper vs. my model, then I am willing to sell fiat and purchase Ether today. I get an added bonus because I will receive equal tokens from any PoW Ether fork that appears.”

Hayes revealed that following this analysis, he purchased December 2022 options with a strike price of $3,000 as he is super bullish on the Ethereum merge. Consequently, the BitMex founder says he also has plans to add to his spot positions to maximize his Eth exposure and capitalize on lapses in market pricing.

Hayes believes that following the Ethereum merge, holders will not dump their holdings for a profit, “buy the rumor, sell the news” will not occur as the asset becomes deflationary. According to Hayes, in addition to this, the rate of deflation is expected to grow as DeFi adoption increases Ethereum use cases.

It is worth noting that Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin in an interview at the just concluded EthCC, said that the Ethereum merge is yet to be priced in. According to Buterin, the full ramifications can only be priced in after it happens.

The merge would see Ethereum migrate from the proof-of-work (PoW) consensus system to proof-of-stake (PoS), cutting down its energy consumption and massively boosting its throughput. The merge is now only over a month away, provided all goes well with the fork on Goerli, the final testnet. Notably, the merge on Goerli is slated to take place from tomorrow.

Despite his legal woes, it is worth noting that Hayes has built a reputation as a market analyst over the years. For example, in April, Hayes predicted that Bitcoin would eventually clinch the $1 million price mark. He believes there would be a flight to stores of value as world reserve currencies weaken. According to Hayes, this process which he termed the Doom Loop, has already kicked off following dollar-euro parity.

Notably, Ethereum had a good month in July, surging by over 55% and driving a lot of market speculation. At the time of writing, the asset is trading at the $1,669 price point, up 1.28% in the last 24 hours but down 3.35% in the last seven days.

Large Movements of Ripple (XRP) Continue, 595 Million Moved In 24 Hours

0

Large movements of XRP have continued to be recorded lately.

As interest in Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) increases, there has been a large movement of multimillion-dollar XRP transfers this month.

The funds have flowed around popular cryptocurrency exchanges, including selected members of Ripple’s ecosystem Bitso and Bitstamp, as well as unknown wallets.

Cryptocurrency whale tracking service Whale Alert has shared developments about hundreds of millions of XRP movements involving unknown wallets and cryptocurrency exchanges since the beginning of this week.

XRP Movement Around Exchanges and Unknown Wallets

Over the last 24 hours, the popular cryptocurrency whale tracking service reported that a total of 595,256,914 (595.26 million) XRP coins had been transferred between exchanges and unknown wallets.

First, 32 million XRP worth $11.84 million were moved from an unknown wallet to the Bitstamp exchange.

At the same time, 27.5 million XRP ($10.11 million) were transferred from OkeX to an unknown wallet.

After a while, Whale Alert shared data of another large XRP movement, which saw a total of 134.75 million Ripple coins ($50.1 million) moved from an unknown wallet to another unknown wallet.

Another large XRP transaction was also recorded a few hours later. This time, a total of 200 million XRP ($74.68 million) were transferred between the unknown wallets.

In the early hours of today, Whale Alert reported that 60 million XRP ($22.48 million) were transferred from an unknown wallet to Bitstamp. Another 60 million XRP ($22.48 million) was also sent from an anonymous address to Bitso.

An additional 30 million XRP coins worth $11.21 million at the time of the transaction were also sent to Bitso by an unknown wallet.

Immediately after these transactions, Whale Alert noted that a total of 51,006,914 (51 million) XRP, worth $19.1 million, were sent from the Bitstamp exchange to an unknown wallet.

Whale XRP Transactions Soars Amid Rising ODL Demand

Large XRP transactions have been frequent in recent times. This comes as Ripple disclosed in its Q2, 2022 financial report that more clients are increasingly demanding ODL solutions.

As reported by TheCryptoBasic, Ripple noted that it sold $408.9 million worth of XRP to ODL customers as ODL volume surged 9x YoY.

Elon Musk Says “Total Transaction Capability of Dogecoin is Much Higher Than Bitcoin”

Elon continues his support for dogecoin.

Elon Musk, the CEO of American electric car company Tesla, has reiterated support for meme-based cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE).

In a recent interview, Musk said Dogecoin is better than Bitcoin (BTC) in making payments because “The total transaction capability of Dogecoin is much higher than Bitcoin.”

Despite DOGE’s launch as a joke cryptocurrency in 2013, Musk stated that the token has lots of potentials, especially when it is used in payments.

Musk has been backing words with action regarding DOGE’s payments capabilities.

Musk has added support for Dogecoin across his businesses, including Tesla and SpaceX. The popular cryptocurrency can be used to purchase Tesla and SpaceX’s merchandise.

Musk’s ultimate goal is to see Dogecoin being used as the “currency of the internet.” Earlier this year, Vladimir Tenev, the co-founder of Robinhood Markets, shared insights on how Dogecoin can become the currency of the internet.

The tips shared by Tenev prompted a reaction from Musk, who called on the attention of Dogecoin’s co-creator Billy Marcus.

The SEC Is Investigating All Crypto Exchanges In The US Including Binance: Report

The SEC has every crypto exchange on its naughty list.

Forbes reported today that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is currently investigating all crypto exchanges in the US, including Binance, not just Coinbase; this is according to a staffer to US senator Cynthia Lummis.

Many raised eyebrows in July when the SEC, while charging 3 in an insider trading scheme at Coinbase, described certain assets listed by the exchange as securities. Notably, John Deaton, the lawyer representing XRP holders in Ripple’s legal battle with the SEC, within the period said he expected the SEC to file a case against a US exchange before the end of the year.

Days later, it was revealed that the SEC is investigating Coinbase for listing assets deemed as unregistered securities. Meanwhile, Coinbase, on its part, asserts that its coin listing process has been vetted by the SEC. Nevertheless, the news of the SEC investigating all crypto exchanges makes Deaton’s prediction more likely, even as a crypto executive confirmed to Forbes that some exchanges have already been served Wells Notices informing them of impending charges against them.

Notably, the US SEC, in recent years, has built a reputation for focusing too much on enforcement actions and less on providing regulatory clarity. In addition, crypto industry members have often decried the lack of willingness of the regulator to communicate.

While the SEC and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) are in talks to share supervision of the crypto markets, the Lummis staffer reveals that these talks are breaking down and will likely require lawmakers to step in. According to the source, lawmakers are likely to lean towards the CFTC.

Notably, in recent months in a bid to bring clarity to the crypto markets, two major bipartisan bills have been proposed in the senate, with both leaning heavily towards the CFTC as the primary regulator of the markets. The first in June by Senators Cynthia Lummis and Kirsten Gillibrand and the latest coming on Wednesday from Debbie Stabenow and John Boozman. However, the staffer reveals that neither is likely to pass this year.

At the time of writing this line, the coin’s price is down 3.2% to $0.029 and its market capitalization had also fallen to $2.12 billion, according to data from Coingecko.

Widespread Adoption of VeChain’s Solution

VeChain has earned quite a reputation in the blockchain market since it launched. The company’s blockchain solution has been widely adopted across various industries, including health, supply chain, etc.

US Blockchain Association Director Says CFTC Is Preferred Regulator for Bitcoin

Blockchain Association Director Says CFTC Is the Preferred Regulator for Bitcoin and other Cryptos, Commends Policymakers for Supporting the Agency.

Smith commends policymakers pushing for the CFTC to become the primary regulator of the crypto market.

Kristin Smith, the Executive Director of the Blockchain Association, is excited about the rate at which policymakers are pushing to give the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) more power to regulate the cryptocurrency market.

“The fact that we have this level of senators thinking about this is incredibly encouraging,” Smith was quoted as saying in a CNBC interview today.

She noted that there are now three bills, including the most recent bill authored by Republican Senator John Boozman and Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow, that are pushing for the CFTC to become the primary regulator of the cryptocurrency market.

Recall that in June, Senators Cynthia Lummis and Kirsten Gillibrand, via a bill, proposed that the CFTC should be given substantial regulatory oversight of the emerging market.

According to Smith, these developments show that many policymakers are convinced that the CFTC is a suitable regulator for crypto.

“The CFTC today already has authority over fraud in the underlying spot markets and manipulation,” Smith added.

The enormous experience the CFTC has gathered so far in its clampdown against fraudulent crypto schemes makes the agency a suitable regulator for the nascent asset class, she added.

Cryptocurrency vs Forex: 6 Things Everyone Should Know

How Does a Trader Trade? – The Basics

Traders usually use foreign exchange trading platforms that allow them to trade currencies based on their trading style rather than on a market price. They often use different methods for each currency pair, depending on their style. Still, most can be roughly divided into two groups: those who prefer to follow their emotions and second-guess the markets (traders who use computers in some form) and those who are more analytical. Some traders use automated strategies such as moving averages and Fibonacci retracements, while others rely more heavily on human creativity.

For financial purposes, a trader’s “expertise” is measured by their ability to accurately predict market movement in different time frames, such as daily, weekly, and monthly. A trader’s “emotional intelligence” is measured by the degree to which they can control their emotions and refrain from making bad decisions.

Trading with a computer is like dancing on ice: if you don’t pay attention, you’ll hurt yourself. If you do pay attention, though, it can be fun, although not consistently profitable. Just because you’re using the Internet doesn’t mean there aren’t real markets. There are markets for virtually every type of product. The general rule is that trading is not like playing chess. Chess players have a strategy designed to beat their opponents at each level, and so do traders. You must think ahead and plan for all eventualities, even in cases where an event hasn’t yet occurred.

Trading Forex

What is Forex, and how do I trade it? Trading forex is based on the concept that the value of one currency will be higher than that of any other currency in the world. Foreign exchange trading is the process of converting one currency into another. It is usually done by traders outside the country that owns the currency trading on foreign exchanges. In other words, you don’t own your currency; you simply get it from somewhere else by buying something that needs to be paid back in the same currency you used for your purchase.

Forex is very similar to the stock market, except that the amount of money you have invested is usually much smaller. This means that many of the risks associated with investing in stocks are reduced.

There are several types of Forex trading platforms: open-end, closed-end, and managed accounts. Open-end accounts are the simplest and most common: they allow for unlimited trades at any time, but they can only trade a certain number of different currencies at one time. Closed-end accounts are the most popular types of Forex trading accounts, and these are the ones that most people use for day trading. They usually offer lower leverage but require you to pay more fees than open-end accounts.

Trading Crypto and Forex

Cryptocurrencies and Forex are two very different investment strategies that, when combined together, give traders a huge edge over the competition. But when it comes to understanding how to invest in cryptocurrency, there are certain things that you should know. Let’s dive into the topic!

Crypto vs. Forex

Cryptocurrencies are digital tokens that are issued by crypto-related companies or individuals. Cryptocurrencies represent the value of a company’s or individual’s holdings in cryptocurrencies, and as with most assets, the value of a cryptocurrency can change in the blink of an eye. The fluctuations in the price of a digital currency can be quite dramatic, even when the currency itself has not experienced significant volatility in the past.

The average investor should expect that crypto prices will fluctuate with volatile swings. This is mostly due to the extreme volatility of the industry and the fact that this currency is still in its infancy. However, there are some signs that indicate that the future may be bright.

Trading Cryptocurrencies

So what does this mean for you? Well, if you want to try your hand at trading in crypto, you can consider opening a new account with one of the many exchange platforms out there. Most charge low fees and allow you to trade in multiple currencies at the same time, as well as allow you to easily move your funds between multiple accounts. There are some downsides, however: you are not able to make purchases or sell any goods with a crypto-based transaction. You also don’t get as much flexibility as if you were trading in traditional forex, where you could make multiple trades at once.

When navigating the volatility of cryptocurrency and forex markets, it’s helpful to also consider broader market indicators like the VIX. This ‘fear gauge’ can offer insights into market sentiment and potential risks. You can learn more about the VIX here.

Cryptocurrency Investing Explained

There are many reasons why you might choose to invest in cryptocurrency rather than the traditional financial markets. For example, you could be using the currency as a hedge against the price swings of some other asset you own. Or maybe you have a service that is generating revenue from the currency you’re holding. Lastly, there are people who use cryptocurrencies for privacy reasons. These people don’t want to reveal their identities or location to the authorities and prefer to trade in the virtual world rather than the real one.

However, it all depends on your goals and motivations.

In conclusion, Crypto and Forex are two very diverse investment strategies that can drastically transform your trading approach. Make sure to continue your research on your investing journey to make the most of your trades and portfolio growth, good luck!
