Cardano Cycle Is Repeating: Chart Shows ADA Rallied 260% The Last Time This Pattern Emerged

0

A fractal pattern that previously spurred a 260% gain in the price of Cardano has emerged again, raising optimism of a similar price action.

Cardano currently trades at $0.885, up less than 2% in the past 24 hours. This week’s 5.86% rally further pushed it away from a low of $0.782 attained in the first week of September, when a broader market sell-off impacted prices extensively.

Meanwhile, an outlook from Bitcoinsensus shows that Cardano could go way higher. His September 10 analysis identified a recurring bullish trend and its potential price outcome for ADA.

Recurring Cardano Fractal Eyes Higher Prices

Notably, Bitcoinsensus stressed that the Cardano fractal cycle could be repeating. The pattern involves a period of price rally, followed by a phase where ADA’s price bottoms from a sideways trend. Following the bottom, it enters another bullish period, all aligning with an ascending resistance trendline.

For context, ADA began a 260% rally after reaching the $0.220 support level in June 2023. It surged to the resistance neckline twice during this rally but peaked at $0.810 in March 2024. After that, it began a correctional move to retest the previous support, reaching a low of $0.276 in August 2024.

Again, the fractal play occurred, as Cardano regained momentum from the low and rallied 360% to a high of $1.330 in December 2024. Following a successful retest of the lows at $0.511 in June, it has resumed another uptrend, which Bitcoinsensus believes would take it past $1.

Specifically, he shared that the current bullish expansion eyes $1.860, a 260% rally from June’s lows. At the current market price, the rally to $1.860 would represent a 110% price growth.

Growing Open Interest Suggests Cardano Attraction

Meanwhile, Cardano has seen a growing interest among leveraged traders, as prices have appreciated over the past week. Its open interest (OI) has spiked by $250 million in less than a week to $1.79 billion.

Cardano Open Interest/Coinglass

The surge followed a brief cooling period, during which Cardano’s OI dropped from an all-time high of $1.87 billion on August 18 to $1.54 billion last week. The renewed futures activities suggest a rekindled interest in Cardano, which typically fuels price rallies.

Notably, sentiments that Cardano would rally in the coming weeks have been growing strong among market analysts, particularly as some suggest that the altseason looks inevitable. Crypto Patel is one such analyst, predicting that ADA is coiling up for an expansion to $7.

SEC Postpones Decision on Franklin XRP ETF, Sets New Final Deadline

0

U.S. SEC has postponed its decision on the Franklin Templeton spot XRP ETF application.

The SEC issued the notice on Wednesday, emphasizing that it will issue its final decision on Franklin’s XRP ETF proposal later this year.

Franklin XRP ETF Progress

Notably, the SEC notification provided an update on the ETF’s progress, which dates back to mid-March when the Cboe BZX Exchange first proposed listing and trading shares of the product.

Cboe initially filed to list Franklin’s proposed XRP ETF shares on March 13, starting the countdown clock for an SEC decision. By March 19, the SEC published the application in the Federal Register.

Under federal securities law, the SEC has 45 days from publication to decide the fate of Franklin’s XRP ETF proposal. However, it can extend this period to 180 days, with the option to move the deadline by an additional 60 days if necessary.

The 180-day deadline was initially slated for September 15, 2025. However, in the latest notice, the SEC stated that it has exercised its authority to use the 60-day extension.

New Final Deadline

Accordingly, the SEC moved the final deadline to November 14. It noted that the extension was necessary to allow additional time to review the application thoroughly.

Essentially, the SEC must either approve or disapprove Franklin’s XRP ETF by November, which is nearly two months away. If approved, Franklin would provide investors with regulated exposure to XRP performance.

It is worth noting that the extension is a standard move by the SEC in relation to crypto-related ETF filings. The commission typically utilizes the maximum extension available to gather additional input and analyze risks before issuing a decision.

As reported earlier, the SEC also postponed its decision on other proposed XRP ETFs, including those from Bitwise, Canary, Grayscale, 21Shares, and CoinShares.

Although Franklin’s final deadline is November 14, the SEC is expected to rule on several other XRP ETF applications by mid-October, including proposals from Grayscale and Bitwise.

Growing Confidence About Potential Approval

Market expectations suggest that the commission would approve XRP ETFs for launch this year. Polymarket data shows a 92% probability of XRP ETFs launching this year, up from 91% last week, reflecting strong optimism about potential approval.

The strong optimism stems from the SEC shifting its stance on digital assets, as reflected in the Project Crypto initiative. Moreover, Chair Paul Atkins recently declared that crypto’s time has come.

Here is Shiba Inu Price by 2032, If Total Crypto Market Cap Hits $100T, With SHIB Keeping Its 0.19% Dominance

0

Given its market dominance of 0.19%, Shiba Inu could register a new all-time high if the global crypto market cap skyrockets to $100 trillion.

The broader crypto market extended its bearish trend, with the total valuation slipping 1.36% over the past day to $3.81 trillion. This downturn had a ripple effect on the prices of major assets like Bitcoin and Shiba Inu. While the firstborn cryptocurrency is down 1.69% in the past 24 hours, Shiba Inu has lost 0.89% of its value in the same timeframe.

Currently, Shiba Inu has a valuation of $7.25 billion, representing 0.19% of the $3.81 trillion total market cap. Although the broader market is currently bearish, some industry stakeholders are optimistic about an upcoming rebound.

Total Crypto Market Cap to Hit $100T By 2032

One of such predictions came from Raoul Pal, the co-founder and CEO of Real Vision. In a recent commentary on CNBC, the Real Vision CEO projected that the global crypto market cap could exceed $100 trillion by 2032.

This would require the current valuation of $3.81 trillion to expand by 2,524% within the next seven years. Pal believes that this rally will be driven by two major forces: monetary debasement and adoption.

Such exponential growth would inevitably reflect in the valuations of leading digital assets. Expectedly, some Shiba Inu enthusiasts have imagined how this broader market expansion could translate into price gains for their beloved token, SHIB.

Potential Impact on Shiba Inu Price by 2032

Therefore, we explored how much SHIB could be worth assuming it maintains its dominance and the total crypto market cap hits $100 trillion. With a valuation of $7.25 billion, Shiba Inu accounts for 0.19% of the total crypto market cap of $3.81 trillion.

If Shiba Inu sustains its 0.19% market dominance and the total crypto market cap climbs to $100 trillion, its valuation could soar from $7.25 billion to $190 billion. Given Shiba Inu’s supply of 589 trillion tokens, this $190 billion market cap translates to a unit price of $0.000322, marking a new all-time high for SHIB.

Previous Predictions

The lofty $0.00032 target has been featured in various Shiba Inu predictions. Last month, a veteran trader known in the crypto community, Anonymous, forecasted that SHIB would reach the ambitious target in the fourth quarter of 2025. Aside from anticipating an imminent market-wide bull run, the analyst did not cite any additional catalyst to fuel this ambitious rally.

Meanwhile, other market commentators have predicted Shiba Inu’s climb to around the $0.0003 level. For instance, CIFDAQ Blockchain Ecosystem founder Himanshu Maradiya speculated that SHIB would reach the $0.0003 level before the end of this year.

In a Finder report, a group of experts framed $0.0003 as a realistic target for Shiba Inu. According to them, the prediction is expected to materialize between 2030 and 2035. This aligns with the same timeframe Pal expects the global crypto market cap to reach $100 trillion and beyond.

CEO of TWC Believes XRP Is at a Turning Point, Reveals Where It Would Face Real Test

0

Amid the ongoing recovery, a notable market analyst has shared the level XRP must close above to confirm the correction has ended.

For context, XRP has started to show signs of recovery after sliding to about $2.70 nearly two weeks ago. It has managed to climb back above $3, but traders remain cautious as the market searches for direction.

XRP Needs to Breach $3.3825 to Confirm Correction is Over

Now, some analysts have highlighted important price levels that could determine whether XRP’s correction has ended or if more sideways action lies ahead.

For one, Christopher Inks, CEO of TWC, believes XRP is at a turning point. He said this while speaking with Scott Melker, host of the Wolf of All Streets. According to Inks, since July, XRP has traded inside a wide range, bouncing between support near $2.70 and resistance in the low $3s.

He described the recent dip to $2.70 earlier this month as a possible spring that would lead toward re-accumulation. From this level, XRP has reclaimed its monthly pivot at $2.962, a positive step toward recovery.

Inks explained that XRP will face its real test at $3.3825. For perspective, this level lines up with the descending resistance that has capped every rally since the July peak. He argued that if XRP closes and holds above $3.3825, the market would confirm the correction is over.

XRP Targets $4.42

This move would also flip the mid-range Fibonacci cluster between $3.35 and $3.43 into support. Once this happens, momentum could carry XRP toward a target near $4.42, which matches the 1.618 Fibonacci extension of the current range.

Along the way, the chart shows one of the major checkpoints at $3.66. This represents XRP’s previous all-time high, attained during the July rally, which marked the resistance that led to the recent drop. After breaching the $3.66 level, XRP would target $3.94 and $4.27 before pushing toward the $4.42 zone.

Other Analysts Agree

Meanwhile, another analyst, Casi, shared a similar view. She pointed out that XRP already broke out of its months-long consolidation and is now battling to hold $3 as new support. According to her, XRP has tapped resistance several times in recent days, pulled back slightly, and is now pushing again for a decisive move higher.

Notably, Casi highlighted momentum signals that strengthen the bullish case. Specifically, on the daily chart, the relative strength index slopes upward, and its moving average is holding as support.

She explained that this steady build in strength often comes before a strong breakout. To her, once XRP clears $3 with conviction, the next areas to watch sit at $3.08 and $3.27.

She also pointed to Fibonacci levels. Specifically, the 0.382 retracement at $3.00 has turned into support, while the 0.236 retracement near $3.25 stands as resistance. Breaking these levels would set up a clean backtest before XRP pushes higher.

Meanwhile, looking beyond the near term, Casi still expects the larger Fibonacci extensions to drive XRP toward $4.50. She said the previous high at $3.66 will likely act as a retest level once this breakout unfolds.

Here’s XRP Price If Millennials and Gen Z Hold Until 2050

0

The XRP price could receive a massive boost if Millennials and Gen Z investors maintain their balances until 2050.

Data surrounding the crypto market in 2025 shows that Millennials and Gen Z contribute massively to the investor base. Specifically, according to a Gemini exchange report, around 50% both generations worldwide own or have owned digital assets, a level of adoption that outpaces older groups.

Millennials and Gen Z Driving Crypto Adoption

Meanwhile, in the U.S., Millennials make up 57% of all crypto holders, while Gen Z accounts for about 13%. On a global scale, Millennials represent 40% of users and Gen Z about 28%.

Moreover, ownership rates are high across both generations. About 51% of Gen Z in the U.S. and 49% of Millennials hold crypto. The Gemini report showed that Gen Z often commits a bigger share of their portfolios to crypto.

Also, the appetite for crypto goes beyond simply buying tokens. More than seven in ten U.S. investors plan to keep adding to their portfolios through 2025. Middle-aged investors also dominate the scene more than many expect, pushing back against the idea that crypto belongs only to the young.

Meanwhile, XRP sits at the center of this generational trend. Data from a Coinlaw report shows that users between 25 and 34 years old, mostly older Millennials, make up more than 40% of new XRP wallets created over the last year.

XRP Price if Millennials and Gen Z Simply Held

To evaluate what this holding power could mean, we asked Google Gemini where XRP might trade in 2050 if Millennials and Gen Z simply held their tokens. Gemini presented a bullish situation where XRP could climb anywhere from $100 to $5,000, depending on how much adoption and utility the network achieves.

XRP Price if Millennials and Gen Z Hold Until 2050 Google Gemini
XRP Price if Millennials and Gen Z Hold Until 2050 | Google Gemini

According to Gemini, several major drivers could support such growth. For XRP to reach those levels, the XRP Ledger would need to achieve massive adoption by banks, corporations, and even central banks for payments, CBDCs, and tokenized assets.

In addition, the network’s built-in burn mechanism, which permanently removes a small amount of XRP with every transaction, could also tighten supply and push up value over time. Gemini also called attention to how important a clear and supportive regulatory environment is.

The chatbot noted that if XRP captured just 5% of a $100 trillion global financial system by 2050, its market cap could hit $5 trillion. With today’s supply, that would place XRP near $90 per token.

Here is How Shiba Inu Can Reach $0.0001 By Increasing SHIB Utility and Adoption

0

While hitting the $0.0001 target remains a tough challenge for Shiba Inu, broader adoption and growing utility could serve as key catalysts for a major rally.

Early crypto investors still remember Shiba Inu’s stunning 2020/2021 run, when SHIB erased six zeros from its price and soared to an all-time high of $0.00008845.

Shiba Inu’s community members, the ShibArmy, fueled this remarkable rally. They pushed SHIB into the spotlight through viral campaigns and relentless social media activity. This momentum transformed SHIB into one of the most popular cryptocurrencies globally.

5 Ways to Increase SHIB Utility to Drive Price to $0.0001

Currently, many enthusiasts believe that Shiba Inu’s next major rally to ambitious targets, such as $0.0001, will be driven not just by hype, but also by real-world utility and broader adoption.

Therefore, we explore five practical ways Shiba Inu can enhance its real-world utility and adoption, paving a realistic path toward the $0.0001 milestone.

Shiba Inu as a Payment Method for Freelancers

This concept envisions Shiba Inu being used as a payment option for gig workers and freelancers. Platforms like Upwork and Fiverr could integrate SHIB, enabling service providers to accept the token in exchange for their work.

According to a Forbes report, approximately 64 million Americans engaged in various freelance jobs in 2023. If a fraction of these workers accept SHIB as a payment method, this could drive its demand and ultimately spark a major rally.

Metaverse Salaries

The metaverse ecosystem has evolved over the years, with numerous projects launching in the sector. Shiba Inu also introduced its metaverse project, Shib: The Metaverse, in 2022, with the project partially launched in December 2024.

The demand for SHIB could intensify if the token is utilized for the payment of salaries, royalties, or rewards within Shib: The Metaverse or other metaverse ecosystems. This would enable creators and virtual landowners to use SHIB not only for speculative purposes but also as a functional currency within metaverse projects.

Micropayments

Shiba Inu may achieve significant success in micropayments, ultimately driving its adoption. The asset’s low cost and fast transfer capabilities make it ideal for tipping creators, streaming content, and purchasing in-game credits. As more people utilize SHIB for micropayments, its adoption is expected to skyrocket, potentially driving its price to loftier targets.

Real-World Discount Utility

This presents an opportunity for Shiba Inu holders to receive enticing discounts when they shop online. Partnerships with e-commerce giants like Amazon or Shopify could let customers receive extra discounts by paying with SHIB.

Such an incentive-based adoption model not only promotes SHIB’s usage but also increases token demand and possibly its price.

Cross-Border Remittances

Another initiative that could bolster Shiba Inu’s real-world utility and potentially push its price to the $0.0001 target is by utilizing the token for cross-border remittances, particularly in regions with unstable currencies.

Fintech apps in those regions could integrate SHIB to enable families to send money faster and at relatively lower costs.

Path to $0.0001

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated $0.0001 target is one prediction that has gained huge traction within the Shiba Inu community. At the current price of $0.00001239, Shiba Inu must skyrocket 707% to reach this ambitious target, marking a new all-time high.

The $0.0001 target translates to a market cap of $58.9 billion, assuming the supply remains stable at roughly 589 trillion tokens. It is one of the most popular predictions within the Shiba Inu community. Interestingly, most analysts project that SHIB will attain the ambitious goal this year.

A top market commentator, known by the alias “Anonymous,” speculated that Shiba Inu might surpass $0.0001 to the $0.00017-$0.00032 price range. He noted that the prediction is expected to materialize by Q4 2025.

Notably, Forbes also teased that the $0.0001 price prediction will come to fruition this year, with the analysis suggesting that the price could climb up to $0.0003.

In May, pseudonymous TradingView expert BitFinity predicted Shiba Inu’s climb to $0.0001. He claimed that Shiba Inu was close to breaking out of a symmetrical triangle that had lingered for several years.

Additionally, Capt. Parabolic Tobleron is another analyst who considers $0.0001 a realistic target for Shiba Inu.

While many analysts anticipate SHIB reaching $0.0001 this year, the full implementation of the real-world utilities discussed in this article may take longer to materialize.

XRP To $1,000 is Inevitable, But Not Tomorrow or Anytime Soon: Expert

0

Armando Pantoja, a renowned crypto investor and market expert, has expressed confidence that XRP could eventually reach a four-digit price.

Pantoja discussed this in one of his recent XRP commentaries amid the latest market correction that has halted XRP’s uptrend. For context, after XRP surged over 60% to the $3.66 yearly peak, it faced a roadblock and has since pulled back to $3.00, as the broader market corrects.

Expert Suggests XRP Could Still Hit $1,000

Despite this momentary setback, market experts like Armando Pantoja remain confident in XRP’s long-term potential. In his recent commentary, Pantoja suggested that XRP will “definitely” reach the ambitious $1,000 mark. This disclosure was an effort to express his unwavering optimism in XRP despite short-term fluctuations.

However, Pantoja stressed that XRP’s journey to $1,000 will likely take longer than most expect. This is in contrast to sentiments held by other market commentators, such as Digital Ascension Group’s Jake Claver, who recently argued that XRP could reach a price between $1,500 and $2,000 by January 2026, citing several reasons.

Armando Pantoja on X
Armando Pantoja on X

Pantoja does not believe this is feasible. Instead, he believes it could take years for XRP to claim the $1,000 mark. He drew parallels to how long it took Bitcoin (BTC), the premier crypto asset, to claim and hold above the $1,000 level decisively.

How Long Could It Take XRP to Hit $1,000?

For context, Bitcoin first reached $1,000 in November 2013, when it soared to a new all-time high of $1,163. Essentially, BTC claimed this lofty milestone four years after it started trading. However, it lost the $1,000 mark immediately after and battled to reclaim it over the following years.

Notably, Bitcoin only decisively conquered the $1,000 region in Q1 2017, eight years after its launch. Accordingly, Pantoja’s commentary recognized this timeline instead, leveraging it to argue for XRP’s inability to claim the price mark.

Nonetheless, even relying on this 8-year timeline puts XRP behind by five years, as it is now 13 years in the market and still hasn’t reached $1,000. To justify this, Pantoja pointed to the SEC lawsuit, which began in December 2020 and seems to be close to a definite end.

According to Pantoja, this lawsuit set XRP’s trajectory back, and with the end edging closer, it’s now as if XRP is starting afresh. As a result, he chose to give XRP the same 8-year timeline it took Bitcoin to reach $1,000.

Despite the possible timeline, Pantoja argued that waiting for about 10 years to witness a massive 33,233% return is worth it. This would put the timeline at 2033 to 2035. Interestingly, with XRP now trading at $3.16, it has gained further to reduce the required uptrend necessary to hit $1,000 to about 31,545%.

Altcoin Season Heats Up as Bitcoin Dominance Loses Macro Uptrend Level

0

A new theory supporting the possible kickstart of the altcoin season has emerged as Bitcoin dominance struggles with a key trend level.

Rekt Capital highlighted this today, further fueling the sentiment that altcoins will imminently begin their long-anticipated rally. The market watcher analyzed the current trends of Bitcoin’s dominance, revealing why it could continue to decline and pave the way for other cryptocurrencies to gain a share of the global cryptocurrency market.

BTC.D Loses Key Macro Trend Levels

At the time of writing, Bitcoin now holds 58.14% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, down considerably in the past week. Zooming out, the index has been on a downtrend, now correcting 11.9% from its June peak of 66%.

Meanwhile, this could mean more, at least according to Rekt Capital’s analysis today. He highlighted that the June rejection at 66% saw the BTC dominance lose a crucial lower high resistance level. More importantly, it also ensured it lost a macro uptrend area at 63.96%, undermining the chances of a rally to 71%.

Bitcoin Dominance Analysis/Rekt Capital

With the bearish trend persisting, the BTC.D is now about to transition from a macro uptrend to a macro downtrend, with either of two identified scenarios required to confirm the shift. The first is if the index turns the uptrend level at 60% into a new resistance. This involves retesting and facing rejection from the macro level.

However, it might not need that if it continues to go sideways and turns the support at 57.68% into a resistance level. This would fully confirm the shift from macro uptrend to macro downtrend for the Bitcoin dominance index, setting the stage for altcoins to rally.

Cautionary Bitcoin Dominance Analysis

Despite the optimism, IntoTheCryptoverse founder Benjamin Cowen had earlier warned that the Bitcoin dominance would rebound to higher prices. In the commentary, he shared three price outcomes for Bitcoin that will drive the BTC.D upwards.

For perspective, he noted that if Bitcoin bounced from the 20-week SMA, its dominance would rise with it, which would jeopardize the altcoin season. Again, if Bitcoin loses the moving average but finds support at the 50-week SMA, altcoins will also fall with it, moving Bitcoin’s dominance higher.

Finally, Cowen noted that Bitcoin could simply consolidate around the 20W SMA throughout September, causing altcoins to bleed. This way, its dominance also goes up.

Aligning Indicators Suggest Imminent Altcoin Season

Nonetheless, several indicators suggest an imminent altcoin season is approaching. Aside from the dwindling dominance, expert Raoul Pal highlighted a beautifully set up TOTAL3 market cap.

The index, which measures the total cryptocurrency market cap excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum, is nearing a breakout from a multi-year triangle. If this happens, altcoins would gain momentum, led by XRP, outperforming the two largest cryptocurrencies by market cap.

Bitcoin Breaks $114,000 as Trump Demands Big Fed Rate Cuts on Cooling Inflation

0

Bitcoin has surged past the $114,000 mark for the first time in three weeks amid new inflation data and renewed pressure from President Trump.

For context, the rally followed the release of U.S. Producer Price Index (PPI) figures for August, which showed inflation easing more than expected. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was consolidating around $114,200 after climbing from an intraday low of $110,700.

The softer inflation data has strengthened expectations of aggressive monetary easing, fueling fresh optimism across risk assets, including crypto.

US PPI Cools Sharply in August

Today, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the U.S. PPI rose 2.6% year-over-year (YoY), significantly below expectations of 3.3% and the prior month’s reading of 3.3%. On a monthly basis, PPI declined by 0.1%, compared to forecasts of a 0.3% increase.

Core PPI, which excludes food and energy, also showed weakness, rising 2.8% YoY versus an expected 3.5%, and down from 3.7% in the previous month. On a monthly basis, core PPI rose by 0.3%, marking the fourth consecutive increase. This data confirms the view that inflationary pressures in the U.S. are easing faster than anticipated.

Fed Rate Cut Bets Grow

Traders have quickly adjusted their expectations for Federal Reserve policy. Specifically, CME FedWatch data shows a rising probability of a 50 basis points (bps) cut at the Fed’s September meeting.

Meanwhile, Kalshi markets indicate bets are shifting toward three rate cuts this year rather than two. Currently, there is a 44% chance of three cuts versus a 39% chance of two.

The soft inflation data comes on the heels of weakening labor market figures, further pressuring the Fed to act. Attention now turns to tomorrow’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) release, the final major economic indicator before the Fed’s decision next week.

Trump Weighs In

Adding to the market noise, U.S. President Donald Trump took to Truth Social, declaring that there is “no inflation” and urging Fed Chair Jerome Powell to lower rates aggressively. Trump described Powell as a “total disaster” and demanded that rates be cut “big, right now.”

Outlook for Bitcoin

With the combination of softer inflation data, growing rate cut bets, and political pressure on the Fed, Bitcoin is gaining momentum as traders seek assets likely to benefit from a looser monetary policy environment.

Under the right conditions, industry commentators expect Bitcoin to break past $150,000 and end the year at $200,000.

$1.6T Franklin Templeton Teams Up with Binance to Launch Crypto Products

0

Franklin Templeton, one of the world’s largest investment managers with $1.6 trillion in assets, has entered a new partnership with crypto exchange Binance.

Together, the two firms plan to launch digital asset products that combine traditional finance with the strengths of blockchain technology, according to a recent press release from Franklin Templeton.

Details of the Binance and Franklin Templeton Partnership

The collaboration will take advantage of Franklin Templeton‘s experience in tokenizing securities and Binance’s global trading network. Both firms will design investment products that improve transparency, speed up settlement, and open access to a wider group of investors.

Notably, leaders from both companies explained why the partnership matters. For instance, Sandy Kaul, Franklin Templeton’s Head of Innovation, said the firm sees blockchain as a way to improve financial systems rather than replace them. She mentioned the opportunity to use tokenization to expand access to the firm’s technology platforms.

Meanwhile, Roger Bayston, who oversees Franklin Templeton’s digital assets division, pointed out that more investors want reliable exposure to crypto markets, and the partnership with Binance will help deliver products that meet the standards of global capital markets.

Also speaking on the partnership, Catherine Chen, Head of VIP and Institutional Business at Binance, noted that the exchange has a history of bringing first-in-crypto solutions to market and described the collaboration as another step toward connecting digital assets with traditional finance.

Importantly, the press release confirmed that the companies plan to share details on specific product launches later this year.

Franklin Templeton Pushing Deeper Into Crypto

This move continues Franklin Templeton’s expansion into crypto. The firm first stepped in back in August 2021 when it launched the OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund, the first tokenized money market fund on a blockchain.

In October 2023, it filed for a spot Bitcoin ETF and won approval in January 2024 alongside other asset managers like BlackRock, later launching the Franklin Bitcoin ETF. By mid-2024, Franklin Templeton also rolled out a spot Ether ETF.

Notably, the firm pushed further in August 2024 by filing for a crypto index ETF, which received SEC approval in February 2025 and officially launched that same month. Earlier this year, it partnered with VeChain to tokenize payments.

A Trend Among Mainstream Financial Firms

Franklin Templeton’s latest step is part of a bigger trend of mainstream financial institutions getting more involved in crypto this year. In Europe, Boerse Stuttgart joined forces with DekaBank to bring regulated crypto trading to institutional investors.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., Fidelity started work on a tokenized money market fund on Ethereum. Further, CME Group teamed up with Google Cloud to test tokenization services for improving capital market efficiency. Binance also launched “Fund Accounts” to make its platform more appealing to institutional asset managers.

Moreover, major banks are also moving in. Specifically, in July this year, JPMorgan formed a partnership with Coinbase to link users’ crypto wallets with their bank accounts. The bank has also adjusted its lending policies to accept Bitcoin ETF shares as collateral.

Also, Goldman Sachs and BNY Mellon partnered to tokenize the multi-trillion-dollar money market fund industry, with BlackRock and Fidelity also taking part.
