Crypto Founder Says XRP Path to High Valuations Is Easier to Understand Than It Looks

0

Crypto founder Versan Aljarrah explains that an XRP path to high valuations is easier to understand than it appears.

He expressed this view during his latest appearance on the Digital Outlook podcast. Host Judy asked Aljarrah to explain why the price of the coin has not surged despite several bullish catalysts lining up.

She cited the conclusion of the SEC case against Ripple and new developments such as 401(k) accounts beginning to offer access to crypto. Meanwhile, XRP is currently trading at a loss over the past few weeks, at $2.80. This level is below the $3.60 level it reached before the announcement of the end of the Ripple lawsuit in August.

This has left many investors wondering why XRP has not experienced the explosive growth many influencers had predicted.

Why XRP Hasn’t Pumped Despite Positive News

Aljarrah, co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, explained that the answer lies in the bigger picture of how XRP is designed and the current state of global adoption. According to him, XRP was engineered to be infinitely scalable, meaning—at least in theory—its price has no ceiling.

However, he noted that the full value of the token can only be unlocked once clear regulations are in place and major institutions are ready to migrate to the digital ecosystem. He said for now, there remains a “coordinated effort” to suppress the price. He suggested that past hurdles, such as the SEC lawsuit and market manipulation, are still weighing on XRP’s progress.

XRP Is More Than a Bridge Currency

Furthermore, Aljarrah noted that XRP is far more than a bridge currency for cross-border payments. He stressed that it was designed as a liquidity tool for the entire digital financial system, capable of supporting tokenized assets and debt instruments.

For this reason, he argued that XRP must eventually meet settlement demands across global networks and payment corridors.

Meanwhile, Aljarrah pointed to a past statement from Ripple suggesting that XRP was intended to become a reserve currency—a claim that was later quietly removed. He noted that institutions like JPMorgan and BlackRock, which he said are “working closely” with Ripple, are positioning themselves ahead of the market.

He added that the timing of XRP’s rise depends largely on regulatory clarity and institutional readiness. To him, XRP is still in its infancy when it comes to adoption.

“Path to High Valuation Easier Than It Looks”

In parallel, Aljarrah stated that the path to high valuations is more straightforward than many believe.

He explained that as assets, currencies, and contracts become tokenized, instant settlement at scale will become essential. XRP, through its On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) system, provides the infrastructure to supply that liquidity. This suggests that XRP’s price will rise in tandem with global demand for settlements.

Notably, Aljarrah has previously stated that XRP trading below $3 is unsustainable for a financial system that is rapidly moving toward trillions of dollars in tokenized assets and on-chain settlements.

He believes XRP must rise significantly in order to facilitate high-value transactions. In his latest remarks on the topic, he reinforced this idea by stating:

“If you were to answer the question about how XRP starts getting to these high valuations—like $100, $1,000, or even $100,000—it has to actually support the global financial ecosystem.”

Cardano Founder Says Cardano Eyeing Major Partnerships with WLFI’s USD1 and Chainlink

0

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has teased a major partnership with Chainlink and USD1 in a defining moment for the ADA ecosystem.

Notably, Hoskinson got the ADA system excited on Sunday, August 31, during his AMA, when he disclosed that Cardano is working on a series of cross-chain partnerships. He mentioned several prominent projects that the ecosystem is looking to form alliances with, including World Liberty Financial (WLFI) and Chainlink.

USD1 Coming to Cardano?

When asked when the USD1 token would launch on Cardano, Hoskinson stated that Cardano “can land that deal.” For the uninitiated, the USD1 is a stablecoin issued by the WLFI, a DeFi project inspired by President Donald Trump. The dollar-pegged cryptocurrency launched in March on the Ethereum and BNB chains before debuting on the Tron network in June.

Meanwhile, the stablecoin gained prominence upon launch, currently ranking as the fifth-largest stablecoin with its $2.67 billion market cap. And now, Hoskinson seems upbeat that USD1 would launch on Cardano.

He disclosed that IOG Chief of Staff J.J. Siler is in discussions with WLFI co-founder and CEO Zach Witkoff regarding the potential integration and could close the deal soon. If this happens, USD1 would become the biggest stablecoin in the Cardano ecosystem, potentially driving more user transactions on the network.

Cardano to “Handle” Chainlink Collaboration

Furthermore, Hoskinson also mentioned that Cardano is working on a partnership with Chainlink. However, this may take much longer, as he noted that the LINK team gave them an “absurd number for integration.”

Nonetheless, the founder noted that Cardano would “handle it” and “figure it out.” He further lauded Chainlink founder Sergey Nazarov, calling him “extremely smart” and a good negotiator. Hoskinson also noted that Chainlink is sitting on “a golden egg.”

Recall that the Chainlink ecosystem has been in the limelight lately amid growing institutional interest. It recently collaborated with the US Department of Commerce (DOC) to bring economic data on-chain.

Meanwhile, Hoskinson added one more chain he hopes to partner with. He noted that he also wants Cardano to integrate with Aave.

“I’d like USD1, I’d like Aave, I’d like Chainlink,” Hoskinson stated, adding that “there’s a bundle there,” and Cardano is working its way to partner with these projects.

Notably, Hoskinson emphasized that these partnerships and potential ecosystem upgrades are crucial for Cardano to remain relevant. He provided an example where the US government selected Chainlink to launch economic data because it had a specific required technology.

According to him, Cardano cannot succeed unless it matches the highly competitive cryptocurrency ecosystem. This sentiment is driving the strong push by the Cardano ecosystem to form several cross-chain partnerships.

XRP Army Reacts as Litecoin Calls XRP Hype ‘Cosmic Delusion’

0

The official Litecoin account on X portrays XRP as a scam-like illusion with exaggerated promises of widespread banking adoption.

Recently, the handler of the Litecoin X account launched a sarcastic attack against XRP. The post, which Litecoin tagged ‘Fun Fact,’ began with a description of how a comet smells.

Litecoin noted that the smell of a comet is unpleasant, describing it as a mix of urine, rotten eggs, almonds, and burning matches. It then equated this unpleasant odor to the perceived absurdity of XRP’s value proposition.

Litecoin Slams XRP-SWIFT Replacement Narrative

According to Litecoin, XRP is being marketed to retail investors under the illusion that demand for the token will skyrocket in the future, based on the assumption that global banking systems are secretly planning to adopt it as a replacement for SWIFT.

The XRP-SWIFT replacement narrative has been a longstanding topic of discussion in the community. But Litecoin has now dismissed this view as a baseless fantasy.

Furthermore, Litecoin mocked XRP promoters for allegedly misleading investors about the token’s prospects. It went on to claim that “the president is sleeping with Brad Garlicmouse”—a metaphor ridiculing the widely perceived notion that Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse is promoting XRP at the highest levels of U.S. government.

XRP Community Reacts

As expected, members of the XRP community did not find the tweet amusing and engaged Litecoin in a war of words. Some XRP enthusiasts suggested that the post was merely an attempt by Litecoin officials to remain relevant in the cryptocurrency sector

One community member suggested a Bitcoin maximalist may have hacked Litecoin’s official X account. For context, such disparaging statements about XRP have historically emerged from the Bitcoin community.

Meanwhile, an X user referred to Litecoin as “a new meme coin” that is about to launch on XRPL, the underlying blockchain of XRP.

Popular legal expert Bill Morgan ridiculed Litecoin for losing its relevance and dominance. He stressed that it has been a long time since the coin last ranked among the top five cryptocurrencies, and he doesn’t recall when it last achieved this ranking. He highlighted XRP’s current dominance, noting that the asset is now one of the top three coins.

Interestingly, the co-founder of Flare Networks, Hugo Phillion, also took subtle shade at Litecoin. He suggested that Dogecoin and Stellar hold a higher priority than the coin. Hugo indicated that while Dogecoin and Stellar are the 8th and 15th biggest cryptocurrencies globally, Litecoin currently sits in the 21st position.

“Stop Taking Things Too Seriously”

Meanwhile, Litecoin posted a follow-up comment, indicating that the XRP community reacts much more aggressively to criticism. Litecoin recounted how people laughed and made little pushbacks when it criticized itself and Solana.

However, its criticism of XRP has led to two days of backlash and the threat of legal action. It subsequently urged XRP holders to “stop taking X posts seriously.”

Market Expert Says XRP Now Consolidating Before the Next Big Move to $27

0

A well-known market commentator believes the ongoing XRP price struggles only reflect a consolidation phase before the next big move.

Specifically, as the broader crypto market witnesses a large slump, XRP has observed five consecutive intraday losses for the first time since June and is now on track to record a sixth losing day for the first time this year. Amid this downturn, XRP now trades for $2.73, having lost the $3 psychological level as well as the $2.9 and $2.8 price marks.

Despite this bearish momentum, market analyst EGRAG Crypto believes an upward push is still on the horizon. Speaking in a report a few days back, EGRAG sarcastically suggested XRP was on the brink of witnessing a price “crash.” However, in reality, EGRAG leveraged an inverted price chart to predict a possible price rally to $27.

XRP Trading Within Consolidation Channel

In an updated analysis, he presented the chart as is, showing multiple trendlines that have continued to dictate XRP’s price action over the past decade. However, the most significant trendlines form a channel that previously capped XRP’s upward push from May 2022, after the Terra collapse triggered a drop to the $0.5 region.

Notably, this channel features blue and white sections, with the blue section acting as support and the white one acting as resistance. XRP continued to trade within this channel from May 2022, ranging between $0.3 and $0.7 for the most part, until it broke out during the uptrend in November 2024.

XRP 2W Chart | EGRAG Crypto

However, after the breakout, XRP soared to a peak of $3.4 in January 2025 before retracing and consolidating at lower levels. Despite the recent recovery to $3.66 in July, EGRAG’s analysis suggests XRP still remains in the consolidation region, especially on the back of the latest price drawdown.

Consolidation Before the Next Big Move

Nonetheless, he believes this is merely the “consolidation before the next big move.” Data from EGRAG’s chart shows that if XRP successfully breaks free from this consolidation, a massive uptrend could ensue. Interestingly, this uptrend would eye bullish targets aligning with the other trendlines at the upper end of the chart.

Specifically, the first trendline, which rests along the previous peak of $3.6, would mark the breakout above the consolidation phase. From here, XRP’s next target would be the $7 price, representing a new all-time high and a 157% increase from the current position.

Notably, EGRAG presented two more targets from the $7 mark, with the ultimate one resting on $27. Just a week ago, the analyst leveraged Fibonacci extension levels to predict an XRP rally to the same $27 region, dismissing projections that the top for this cycle could come in at just around $4.

Meanwhile, analyst CryptoInsightUK recently noted that XRP’s pairing with Bitcoin has pulled back to a critical support zone on the 4-hour chart. According to him, this level was previously resistance, and it is now being retested as support while the RSI shows oversold conditions.

He suggested that although this is not a guaranteed bottom, this setup has often led to strong rebounds in the past. The analyst noted that he sees a solid case for a potential bottom forming for XRP, especially when combined with the liquidity situation against the dollar.

Crypto CEO Explains What to Do Before Your XRP Turns into Real Money

0

As price predictions for XRP continue to soar, investors are increasingly focusing on what comes after the gains.

Meanwhile, Jake Claver, CEO of Digital Ascension Group, believes that real preparation must happen before wealth materializes, not after.

Laying the Groundwork Before XRP Gains Arrive

In a recent commentary, Claver cautioned holders to establish proper structures in advance. Specifically, he advised XRP investors to put legal, tax, and security structures in place before their XRP turns into real money.

Claver emphasized that wealth protection in crypto requires more than off-the-shelf solutions. According to him, investors should design trusts, LLCs, and custody setups specifically for digital assets, rather than copy from generic financial templates.

Notably, this approach ensures that holdings are legally protected, tax-efficient, and secure against risks unique to crypto markets.

His warning follows broader advice from crypto consultants like Armando Pantoja. In a previous commentary, he argued that sudden wealth from XRP or other assets often vanishes within 18 months without a solid plan.

Pantoja stressed that the difference between temporary riches and lasting prosperity lies in how one manages the gains once they arrive.

Protecting the Windfall

Notably, these commentaries center around the possibility of hitting bold future price targets. Most experts believe the current price under $3 is only temporary.

For instance, at $100 per token, anyone holding 10,000 XRP—an investment of around $27,300 today—would cross the $1 million milestone. At $1,000 per token, an investor could reach the same $1 million goal with just 1,000 XRP.

Interestingly, Claver believes XRP could someday reach $10,000 per token, which would make even holders of just 100 XRP—worth less than $300 today—millionaires.

Yet these experts warn that the challenge does not lie in making money but in keeping it. Pantoja recommends diversification into Bitcoin for stability and Ethereum for staking income. He then recommended real-world assets like farmland and dividend stocks for steady returns. The market expert also highlighted the importance of secure storage solutions to guard against exchange collapses.

Planning with a Long-Term Mindset

Both Claver and Pantoja agree that preparation, not reaction, defines long-term financial security. They encouraged investors to:

  • Define a personal freedom number—the income needed to comfortably sustain their lifestyle.
  • Create a documented and tested exit strategy that outlines how profits will be deployed.
  • Explore income-generating assets that preserve principal while providing recurring cash flow.

Ultimately, while the extent of XRP’s price growth remains uncertain, the possibility of life-changing gains has become a recurring topic in the crypto community.

However, industry commentators like Claver argue that waiting until XRP reaches new heights before acting may prove costly. The time to put structures in place is before the bull market delivers its rewards.

Altseason in Jeopardy? Strategist Shares 3 Reasons the Bitcoin Dominance Will Rebound to Higher Levels

0

The altseason could be in jeopardy as three pointers suggest the Bitcoin dominance would rebound and target greater heights, driven by how BTC reacts to current price levels.

Bitcoin’s share of the cryptocurrency market has experienced a notable correction since the start of July. With Ethereum gaining red-hot form, which sparked an over 100% increase in two months to a new all-time high in August, BTC dominance has dropped from 65.58% to 58.15% at the time of writing.

Yet for prominent analyst Benjamin Cowen, the scenario would likely reverse. He shared in an August 31 tweet that Bitcoin dominance would most probably find a low soon and rebound extensively, with three possible Bitcoin price outcomes historically backing this narrative.

Three Bitcoin Price Outcomes Likely to Lead to Dominance Rebound

Notably, the three likely price developments that would spark a dominance rebound come from how Bitcoin reacts to two notable simple moving averages in the weekly timeframe. Specifically, Cowen highlighted the premier cryptocurrency’s price action around the 20-week and 50-week SMA as major indicators.

In the first scenario, he noted that if Bitcoin bounces from the 20-week SMA and heads higher, then its dominance would rise with it. He identified that this happened in 2017 and led to another round of bullish market development. Notably, BTC trades at $107,922 at the time of writing, slightly below the SMA at $108,969, and needs a reaction from here to set this outcome in motion.

Meanwhile, the second price development would see Bitcoin drop below the 20W SMA, similar to an occurrence in the third quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025. An accompanying chart highlighted this scenario, as BTC dropped to below the 20W for most of July and September 2024. It reached the 50W MA with a drop to $49,217 in August 2024 and $52,600 in September 2024.

Bitcoin Trend Around the 20W and 50W SMA/Benjamin Cowen

The analyst shared that this price development will see altcoins capitulate. Currently, the 50-week SMA stands at $95,860, which is an 11% drop from the current market price. If this does happen, he asserts that altcoins would record an over 30% price retracement.

Altcoins to Bleed if Bitcoin Consolidates at 20W SMA

Finally, Cowen shared the last development. Here, he noted that if BTC consolidates around the 20-week SMA throughout September, as it did in 2022, then altcoins will likely slowly bleed.

As a result, the analyst concluded that regardless of the direction of Bitcoin, its market share will likely rebound from recent lows to higher levels. According to him, the crypto market may be resuming its final rotation into Bitcoin during this bull cycle.

Remarkably, this might pause the much-anticipated altcoin season, as a BTC dominance growth does not historically go hand in hand with an altcoin price explosion. The prospect of this bullish altcoin phase gained momentum when analysts highlighted last week that the BTC dominance had broken below a 2-year trendline.

How Bitcoin and its dominance react in the coming days will determine whether altcoins will sustain their current outperformance or yield to the crypto leader’s preeminence.

Shiba Inu Team Hints at Asia Expansion, Says Price May Be Down but Global Building Continues

0

The Shiba Inu ecosystem team expresses confidence that the upcoming autumn season will be bullish for SHIB, regardless of the recent price decline.

Shiba Inu has continued to face intense selling pressure over the past few days, with its price crashing below $0.000012. While investors’ optimism has waned, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team, through its marketing lead, Lucie, sends words of encouragement to community members. She emphasized that autumn would be a bullish season for Shiba Inu.

Is Team Planning an Outreach in Asia?

In the meantime, she hinted at a planned outreach or a tour in major Asian markets, particularly in Korea, Japan, and China. The marketing lead highlighted the growing momentum of the Shiba Inu community in these regions, underscoring the importance of expanding outreach.

Notably, Lucie suggested that the team is not focusing its attention on the price of Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, including SHIB.

According to her, while the prices of these tokens may be low, this downturn should not deter the team from building and driving the global adoption of Shibarium.

While the community believes burns are the fastest route to price appreciation, Lucie and other team members share a different sentiment. They have insisted that true value comes from building utility and driving adoption of Shiba Inu ecosystem projects.

Big Expectations for Autumn

For context, autumn 2025, which Lucie expects to be a bullish season for Shiba Inu, will begin on September 22 and end on December 21, 2025. As observed in previous cycles, this period has often coincided with sharp upward movements in cryptocurrency prices.

For instance, Shiba Inu clinched a peak price of $0.00008845 in October 2021–one of the autumn months. Several investors believe history will repeat itself around the same period.

In particular, most market commentators expect SHIB to reach an ATH of $0.0001 and above before the year ends.

Experts like Eunice Wong and Himanshu Maradiya are among the key proponents of this prediction. One factor driving this bullish sentiment is the anticipation of a potential Federal Reserve rate cut later this month. Lower rates typically make riskier assets such as cryptocurrencies and stocks more attractive to investors, potentially driving their prices higher.

At the moment, Shiba Inu has fallen 3.82% over the past 24 hours to $0.00001194. Its price has also dipped 6.37% over the past week and 2.1% in the past 30 days.

Bitcoin Investor Explains How XRP Will See a Controlled Launch to $50 Soon

0

Pumpius, a seasoned Bitcoin investor, has laid out a bold case for XRP path to a $50 price point.

He attributes the potential surge not to market hype, but to a regulatory milestone that could transform Ripple into a central player in U.S. finance. In particular, Pumpius sees XRP’s price explosion stemming from Ripple’s pursuit of a key banking license.

Ripple’s OCC Bank Charter Ambition

Ripple is currently in the process of acquiring a national bank charter under the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). The application was submitted in July, and a decision could come as early as October, based on the OCC’s 120-day approval timeline.

Pumpius pointed out that this is the same license used by major banking institutions such as BNY, JPMorgan, and Citi to custody billions of dollars in assets.

In other words, securing this approval would allow Ripple to operate as a full-scale national bank, rather than just a fintech startup. Meanwhile, XRP will be powering its settlement system.

Why Approval Could Redefine XRP

With an OCC charter, Ripple would gain direct access to the Federal Reserve, authority to custody crypto and tokenized assets, and the ability to issue stablecoins and settle securities.

According to Pumpius, this setup would bypass traditional intermediaries, allowing banks, brokers, and funds to use Ripple as their direct bridge into tokenized finance. In this model, XRP becomes the core bridge asset, central to the new liquidity network.

The $6.6 Trillion Settlement Pipeline

Pumpius’s analysis highlights that global bank settlements total around $6.6 trillion per day. Even a small fraction of this volume flowing through XRP, given its limited supply, could send the price soaring, he claimed.

Based on this liquidity model, Pumpius argues that $50 per XRP is not speculative, but a logical outcome of scaled adoption.

For context, XRP is currently trading at just $2.72, meaning Pumpius anticipates a 1,673% increase in value, driven by its utility in liquidity services. Moreover, a $50 price would give XRP a market cap of approximately $3 trillion, surpassing Bitcoin’s current market cap of $2.1 trillion.

Timely Transition

Meanwhile, Pumpius noted that Ripple’s long legal battle with the SEC has concluded, removing regulatory roadblocks that may have delayed progress. He believes the lawsuit was not the real obstacle, but rather a necessary step toward regulatory alignment and eventual OCC approval.

Interestingly, Pumpius said the day Ripple’s OCC bank charter is approved will mark XRP’s transition from a crypto asset to a foundational component of the U.S. financial infrastructure.

The analyst insists this won’t be a moonshot gamble, but rather a “controlled launch” of XRP into the heart of global banking.

Ripple Banking License Facing Strong Resistance

However, major banking and credit union groups—led by the American Bankers Association—are urging the U.S. OCC to delay decisions on federal bank charter applications from Ripple and other crypto firms such as Circle.

They argue that crypto services fail to meet fiduciary standards and warn that granting charters without public input would bypass decades of regulatory precedent.

Additionally, they claim it would give crypto firms an unfair advantage by allowing them to sidestep state-level licensing requirements.

As Shiba Inu Ranks in 23rd Position, Here is How High Now SHIB Must Rise to Beat Dogecoin

0

With Shiba Inu slipping to the 23rd spot in the global crypto rankings, we examined the potential growth trajectory required for SHIB to surpass Dogecoin.

The total crypto market cap has fallen slightly by 1.2% to $3.78 trillion. This retracement is part of a broader downturn that has rocked the crypto market over the past few weeks.

Notably, Shiba Inu has had its fair share of the recent bloodbath. Amid the market downturn, Toncoin surpassed Shiba Inu to claim the 22nd spot by market cap, pushing SHIB down to 23rd place.

Growth Required for SHIB to Surpass Dogecoin

Despite the setback, many Shiba Inu enthusiasts remain optimistic, believing the downturn will be short-lived and that SHIB could ultimately achieve significant milestones. For some, a key goal is for Shiba Inu to surpass Dogecoin in the global cryptocurrency rankings. At the moment, this feat seems far-fetched, as Dogecoin currently ranks as the eighth-largest cryptocurrency, while SHIB sits in 23rd place.

As the eighth-biggest token globally, Dogecoin has a market cap of $32.75 billion, translating to a unit price of $0.2172. Shiba Inu, which ranks as the 23rd biggest token, boasts a valuation of $7.34 billion and a price of $0.00001245.

To overthrow Dogecoin, Shiba Inu’s market cap must spike 376.83% from the current level to $35 billion. With this rally, Shiba Inu could overtake Dogecoin to become the eighth-largest token by market cap, pushing DOGE down to ninth position. This analysis assumes that Dogecoin’s market cap remains stable around the $32 billion region.

Potential Price if SHIB Flips DOGE

The effect of Shiba Inu’s climb to a $35 billion market cap will be evident in the asset’s price. To put things into perspective, a market cap of $35 billion translates to a unit price of $0.00005939 for SHIB.

This implies that if Shiba Inu reaches a market cap of $35 billion, flipping Dogecoin along the way, it would trade at $0.00005939. The $0.000059 target is not new to Shiba Inu. It surpassed the target in October 2021 and eventually reached an ATH of $0.00008845. During that period, Shiba Inu even ranked among the top 10 biggest cryptocurrencies, flipping Dogecoin on multiple occasions.

Meanwhile, several experts have forecasted Shiba Inu’s return to the $0.00005 price level. Last year, TradingView analyst Alikze projected that SHIB would reclaim the $0.000059 level, setting it as a key price target.

In May 2024, popular analyst Davie Satoshi forecasted a major breakout that could take SHIB above the $0.00005 price mark.

In our previous analysis, top AI model ChatGPT suggested that SHIB will not reach $0.000059 anytime soon. Referencing a prediction from BitScreener, the chatbot predicted that SHIB could trade around the $0.000059 mark by 2035, exactly ten years from now.

Although the crypto market has proven that anything is possible, SHIB faces a major challenge in its quest to surpass DOGE in the global crypto ranking.

In particular, institutions have shown notable interest in Dogecoin. This is evident from multiple ETF filings tied to the token and recent efforts to establish a DOGE-focused treasury. In contrast, Shiba Inu has yet to attract the same level of institutional attention.

Here Are the Projected Timelines for XRP to Reach $501 and $2,406

0

XRP continues to trade around $3, but leading crypto exchange Changelly believes the coin could someday reach lofty heights in the triple and even four-digit range.

In a detailed report, the exchange shared ambitious timelines for when it believes XRP could trade above $500 and even $2,400. Interestingly, these XRP price projections are not unheard of within the crypto community.

Many influential voices in the XRP space have debated the coin’s potential to reach triple and even five-digit valuations in the future. For example, widely followed American wealth mentor Linda Jones believes XRP could surpass $100. DAG Managing Director Jake Claver has even suggested that XRP reaching $10,000 is possible.

While many agree that XRP could be worth more in the future, there is considerable disagreement about the timeline. Changelly contributes to the discussion by issuing specific projections.

When Could XRP Reach $501 and $2,406?

According to Changelly, XRP could be trading at $501.59 by February 2040, less than 15 years from now. Considering XRP’s current price of around $3, this would represent a massive gain of 17,499.7%.

In the same month, Changelly projects XRP will have a minimum price of $414.86 and an average price of $436.40.

Notably, the exchange suggests XRP could hit a maximum price of $2,406 by December 2040. This would translate to an extraordinary 84,321.1% return on investment for current holders.

Changelly expects XRP to enter the four-digit price range as early as May 2040 and continue progressing through the end of the year. The lowest price it projects for that year is $257.34.

The Journey to $501 and $2,406 for XRP

To reach $501 and $2,406 by 2040, XRP would require significant growth—17,499.7% and 84,321.1%, respectively. While these projections are undeniably ambitious, it’s worth noting that XRP surged by over 75,000% between 2017 and 2018—though it later fell by more than 95%.

This historical volatility partially supports the possibility of another aggressive price surge. However, as a cryptocurrency’s market cap matures into the billion- or trillion-dollar range, its growth trajectory typically slows down.

At a price of $500, XRP’s market cap would exceed $29.75 trillion, surpassing gold’s current estimated valuation of $22 trillion—though gold itself could be worth more by 2040.

At $2,406, XRP’s market cap would soar to an astronomical $142.9 trillion, surpassing the total current value of the global stock market.

For comparison, Telegaon projects Bitcoin to trade at over $2.5 million per coin by 2040, equating to a market cap of about $53 trillion. Changelly even offers a more aggressive forecast of $5,668,414 per BTC by 2040, which implies a market cap of $119 trillion.

Despite these bold projections for Bitcoin, XRP’s projected $2,406 price would still imply a higher market cap of $143 trillion—an outcome many experts see as highly unrealistic.

Timelines for XRP to Reach $501 and $2,406 per ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Grok

ChatGPT suggests XRP could reach $501.29 between 2040 and 2050, but emphasizes that this is purely speculative. It considers $2,406 to be unrealistic and offers no timeline for that target.

ChatGPT Suggestion on XRP reachign $501 and $2,406
ChatGPT Suggestion on XRP reaching $501 and $2,406

Google Gemini declined to provide a specific timeline, stating that such projections are far-fetched.

Grok AI stated that $501.59 might be possible between 2030 and 2035, but only under ideal market conditions.

Regarding $2,406, Grok said it is not realistically achievable within the next 10–20 years based on current data. It added that such a scenario would require unprecedented global adoption and market shifts, likely post-2040, if ever.
