XRP 8 Months of Silence: Analysts Say XRP Coiling for Its Loudest Move Yet

While much of the crypto market grows restless, XRP continues to quietly hold its ground.

For eight consecutive months, XRP has mostly traded above its previous peak monthly close from 2017–2018. However, XRP’s lack of major movement during this time has sparked concerns.

Amid these concerns, analysts like Nick, known as Crypto Crusader and the founder of Web3Alert, say this prolonged consolidation is not a sign of weakness. Instead, they see it as a coiling pattern that could lead to one of XRP’s loudest breakouts yet.

XRP Consolidates Above Historic Levels

In a tweet, CrediBULL Crypto, a widely followed market analyst, pointed out that XRP is one of the few altcoins showing clean, impulsive price action since its breakout from the $0.50 range. He confirmed that XRP is now in its eighth month of consolidation above its previous cycle top on the monthly timeframe.

He sees this extended sideways movement as a sign that the market is underestimating what’s coming. According to CrediBULL, XRP’s price action suggests it’s building momentum for a significant expansion phase that could leave most market participants behind.

Market Is Sleeping on XRP

Nick echoed a similar view. He noted that while many traders have grown bearish or impatient, XRP has been holding above $2 for eight consecutive months—something he believes most people are overlooking.

Nick believes the current silence around XRP is exactly what typically precedes major moves in crypto. He warned that when this consolidation phase ends, it won’t be gradual. Instead, it will likely catch the majority off guard.

With Bitcoin dominance still above 60%, both analysts argue that the final altcoin wave of the cycle hasn’t arrived yet. Historically, this is the phase when capital rotates into altcoins, pushing many of them to 5x, 10x, or even 15x gains.

Essentially, XRP, now trading consistently above key resistance-turned-support, appears to be one of the better-positioned large-cap altcoins heading into this next phase. If the pattern holds, the silence of the past months may give way to a powerful breakout that redefines market expectations.

“It’s Inevitable, Don’t Fight It”

Meanwhile, in a separate analysis, day trader “CRYPTOWZRD” also shared optimism that promising days are just around the corner for XRP. He pointed out that the coin has been in a holding pattern for 32 weeks, “gathering strength.”

According to CRYPTOWZRD, all it takes for the condition to flip is one more weekly bullish candle, and it’s only a matter of time before that happens. “It is inevitable,” he argued, warning bears not to “fight it.”

His accompanying chart suggests XRP could head straight to the $4 zone after the project retests. While this value is modest, in an earlier analysis, CrediBULL Crypto suggested that prices between $20 and $40 are realistic expectations for XRP by the end of this cycle.

Pundit Says $36 for XRP Is Not Unrealistic, but XRP Must Hit This Level First

Notable crypto pundit Nathaniel Rothschild has stirred conversation within the XRP community about the realistic price target for XRP.

In a post on X, Rothschild stated that a $36 price point for XRP is not an unrealistic target, suggesting it is actually reachable. Notably, he believes the $36 goal is a reasonable target. However, despite his belief that XRP can reach $36, Rothschild noted that it must first hit key milestones at $7 and $13 before advancing higher.

What Happens When XRP Reaches $36

Notably, critics who deem price targets beyond $10 as unrealistic often cite the formidable path XRP would have to take and the resulting valuation.

For a coin trading at $2.27 today, it would require an explosive rally of about 1,500% for XRP to hit $36. Furthermore, achieving this price would imply a market cap of approximately $2.12 trillion. This is roughly equivalent to the current valuation of Bitcoin.

This raises questions about what Bitcoin’s market cap and the overall crypto market would be if XRP alone were valued at over $2 trillion. For perspective, at that hypothetical valuation, XRP would be more valuable than silver, Facebook, and even Saudi Aramco.

Given the implications of such a price, many critics argue that achieving it this year is unlikely. They suggest a longer timeline for such price targets.

How Long Before XRP Reaches $36?

For instance, an analysis by Telegaon suggests XRP may reach the $36 mark by 2030. Similarly, Bitwise, in a research report for professional investors, projected that XRP could reach $29 by 2030 in an ultra-bullish market.

As for this year and 2026, Bitwise forecasts a peak price of $6.53 if things go extremely well for XRP. Otherwise, it suggests the coin could even dip to $1.07.

Meanwhile, Changelly proposes a more extended timeline, projecting 2032 for XRP to reach $36. While these research firms provide cautious estimates, independent technical analysts in the XRP community remain more ambitious.

For example, analyst Dustin Layton boldly challenged the crypto community, claiming XRP would reach at least $50 this year.

Likewise, market watcher EGRAG believes XRP could surge 2,000% to exceed $37 if it mirrors its 2017 historical pattern. However, he also suggested a $9 price as a more conservative scenario if the pattern fails to play out.

Community View

Meanwhile, commenters on Rothschild’s post promoting the $36 target shared mixed reactions. X user Tom Toman remarked that nothing is unrealistic in crypto, saying, “The sky is the limit.”

Others even claimed that $36 is “cheap,” suggesting far higher prices could be attainable.

On the other hand, X user Angela Hammes noted that XRP should first reclaim the $3 mark before entertaining higher targets. Notably, XRP has traded below $3 for about six months and has remained under its all-time high for nearly eight years.

Essentially, despite the steep climb ahead, XRP proponents continue to hold onto ambitious price outlooks.

Here’s the Mysterious XRP Ledger Co-Founder Who Holds 2% of All XRP

An analyst calls Arthur Britto one of crypto’s most important yet unknown figures after a rare public message from the XRP founder following a decade of silence.

In a series of tweets, the widely followed XRP analyst “All Things XRP” spotlighted Arthur Britto, one of Ripple’s original architects. He described Britto as a key figure in crypto history who remains largely unknown to the public.

The Hidden Founder of Ripple

Arthur Britto notably co-founded Ripple Labs in 2012 alongside David Schwartz, Chris Larsen, and Jed McCaleb. More importantly, he helped build the XRP Ledger as an alternative to Bitcoin, aiming to offer faster, more scalable, and energy-efficient transactions.

Britto played a pivotal role in shaping XRP’s design as a decentralized payment system intended to disrupt traditional finance. With a focus on low fees and high speed, XRP aimed to address the inefficiencies that plagued early cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. His early contributions helped establish XRP as one of the top digital assets by market capitalization.

However, unlike his co-founders, Britto has largely avoided the limelight, rarely appearing in public or granting interviews.

Is Arthur Britto Satoshi?

His identity has remained largely unknown despite his legacy. Consequently, Britto’s extreme privacy has drawn comparisons to that of Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

Some even speculate that Britto could be Satoshi himself, though no evidence supports this theory. Interestingly, some find humorous hints in Satoshi’s last known public appearance, which coincided with the launch of the XRP Ledger.

Meanwhile, his 2% stake in XRP, secured in a 2012 agreement, further cements his influence in Ripple’s foundation.

Cryptic Return After 14 Years

Last month, Britto reemerged from the shadows and posted a single emoji on X. This marked his first public appearance in over a decade. The post was verified by Ripple CTO David Schwartz, sparking a wave of speculation.

Some suggested it was a subtle hint about a major development in the XRP ecosystem, noting that Britto doesn’t post without reason.

Interestingly, the XRP community has widely attributed to Britto the ambitious prediction that XRP could someday reach $10,000. However, this remains unconfirmed.

Still, Pulling Strings Quietly?

While Britto continues to stay behind the scenes, he remains active in blockchain innovation through PolySign, a crypto custody infrastructure firm he co-founded.

Notably, PolySign was the parent company of Standard Custody & Trust Company, which is now part of Ripple and is referred to as Ripple Custody. The firm offers institutional-grade digital asset custody services.

Essentially, XRP supporters believe that although Britto remains largely invisible to the public, his quiet influence continues to shape Ripple’s broader strategic direction. However, this remains speculative.

Here’s Why It Is Now Illegal to Short Bitcoin According to This Prominent Analyst

0

Analyst CrediBull Crypto says it is now “illegal” to short Bitcoin due to strong bullish setups and limited downside risk.

These comments surface as the price of Bitcoin (BTC) is currently at $108,295, following a period of sideways movement after reaching a high of $110,307 on July 3. This marks a -0.59% decline over the past 24 hours and a 1.26% increase in the last 7 days.

Despite the recent calm, analyst CrediBull Crypto has explained why he believes it is now effectively “illegal” to short Bitcoin. According to his commentary, he believes there’s a real possibility that the next upward move has already started.

Bitcoin Original Prediction

CrediBull’s original projection, shared a few days prior, anticipated Bitcoin would reject at range highs above $110,000 and experience a pullback down to the blue zone around $102,000. This would be followed by a few weeks of sideways movement before initiating the next upward impulse.

Image

That scenario involved an Elliott Wave structure identified as a W-X-Y pattern. In this context, wave W may have completed at the daily demand area below $99,000, with wave X expected to form above $114,000. Following this, wave Y could develop as Bitcoin completes an existing symmetrical triangle.

Notably, he projects the breakout target for this structure to be above $120,000. Subsequent consolidation could occur around $136,000, with further extension potentially reaching above $154,000. For context, Bitcoin would need to surge approximately 42.21% to reach this level.

Bitcoin’s Most Bullish Case

However, while CrediBull still considers this W-X-Y scenario probable, he also acknowledges the possibility that the next major impulse has already begun, marking the most bullish case.

In this alternative Elliott Wave count, Bitcoin is seen as having completed wave 1, currently in wave 2, and potentially poised to begin wave 3 upon breaking the $111,941 resistance level. Under this scenario, wave 3 could extend above $128,000, followed by sideways consolidation in wave 4, and a final upward move in wave 5 targeting around $149,000 and higher, a 37.6% pump from the current.

In either scenario, CrediBull believes the downside for Bitcoin is relatively limited from current levels. He emphasized that it is important focus on long opportunities rather than attempting to short Bitcoin in what he sees as clear market strength.

The higher time frame (HTF) demand zone, located much lower, between $67,000 and $74,000, serves as a worst-case scenario if Bitcoin crashes.

Bitcoin Ownership Data Points Bullish

Elsewhere, Bitcoin’s ownership data adds to the bullish sentiment. A chart from IntoTheBlock illustrates the historical behavior of Bitcoin addresses segmented by holding time, holders (1Y+), cruisers (1–12M), and traders (<1M). The number of long-term holders has shown consistent growth, surging by 1.02%.

Screenshot 2025 07 08T110631510
Bitcoin Addresses by Time Held

In contrast, both Cruisers and Traders have declined, with a -1.48% and -2.76% change respectively, suggesting a shift from short-term speculation to long-term accumulation. Overall, this trend signifies growing maturity in the Bitcoin market and a more stable investor base.

Here’s Shiba Inu Price If the US Dollar Collapses and Crypto Becomes the Standard

0

The Shiba Inu price could chalk off several zeros if the US dollar collapses and cryptocurrencies become the global monetary standard.

The US dollar is losing its global market dominance, and the crypto industry is dreaming big. For context, the US Dollar Index (DXY) has been in a downtrend since February, reacting adversely to Donald Trump’s economic policies.

With the uncertainties surrounding the dollar, the global market is seeking a hard asset to replace the US dollar. Among others, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are in the conversation, with their liquid, viable, and digital nature major lures to the concept.

If this happens, the crypto industry will grow exponentially. First, there will be a global demand for digital assets, driving prices northward by simple economics.

Furthermore, massive capital would flow into the crypto space, as they will emerge as a store of value and a means of transactional settlements. Notably, this could potentially push the global crypto market cap to trillions of dollars.

Precisely, if cryptocurrencies become the new global monetary standard, the total digital asset market cap could surge to between $100 trillion and $300 trillion or even more, and altcoins such as Shiba Inu could benefit from this growth.

Shiba Inu Price Prospect If Crypto Becomes the Standard

Currently, Shiba Inu price is trading at $0.00001178, up 2% over the past 24 hours. The 19th largest cryptocurrency by market cap would receive a fair share of its ecosystem boost if digital assets became the new standard, with its growing utility in the space as a key driver.

Currently with a market dominance of 0.21%, Shiba Inu could claim up to 0.50% or 1% of this new crypto economy. Notably, Shiba Inu has surpassed this market share before, hitting 2.01% in October 2021 when it rallied to its all-time high of $0.00008845.

Shiba Inu’s Market Cap If It Captures 0.50% to 1% of New Crypto Cap

Essentially, we will project Shiba Inu’s new market cap if it captures 0.50% and 1% of the global crypto market’s $100 trillion and $300 trillion valuation.

For a 0.50% market share of a $100 trillion market cap, SHIB’s new cap would be $500 billion. However, a 0.50% dominance in a $300 trillion global crypto market valuation would culminate in a market cap of $1.5 trillion.

However, things get more interesting if Shiba Inu captures only 1% of the hypothetically new market cap. Notably, 1% of a $100 trillion global crypto valuation would push SHIB’s market cap to $1 trillion, while attaining the upper $300 trillion range would push the token’s cap to $3 trillion.

New Shiba Inu Price Targets

Meanwhile, Shiba Inu has a circulating supply of 589.5 trillion, which is an important metric in determining its new price. An asset’s price is a function of its market cap divided by its circulating supply.

As a result, a $500 billion market, representing a 0.50% share of the global market’s $100 trillion cap, would see Shiba Inu’s price reach $0.00084. In contrast, the $1.5 trillion valuation at a 0.5% market dominance would result in a Shiba Inu price of $0.0025.

However, a $1 trillion Shiba Inu market cap, representing a 1% share of a $100 trillion market cap, would push its price to $0.00169. Furthermore, a $3 trillion Shiba Inu market cap, equivalent to a 1% share of the $300 trillion valuation, will ensure that SHIB reaches $0.0050.

Interestingly, these prices align with the expectations of Shiba Inu enthusiasts. In fact, they fall short of the price outlook of $0.01 and an ambitious $1 projected by a Shiba Inu team. Nonetheless, there are no guarantees that Shiba Inu will reach any of these price marks, as the crypto market remains largely unpredictable.

Here’s XRP Price If it Grows 2% Per Month Until 2035

This article explores how XRP could evolve through 2035 with consistent 2% monthly growth alongside alternative forecasts predicting even higher valuations.

XRP continues to hover around $2 despite bullish news and Ripple’s progress with a U.S. banking license.

At its current price of $2.22, XRP is up 1.35% over the past week. On the monthly timeframe, it has gained only 0.8%, indicating no significant price movement in the last 30 days.

However, during this period, Ripple announced the conclusion of its five-year lawsuit, allowing it to focus on more strategic priorities. It also revealed its pursuit of a U.S. banking license and a Federal Reserve master account.

While this news has yet to impact XRP’s price, there is optimism that the coin will be in a much stronger position as the year progresses. Illustratively, XRP boasts an impressive yearly gain of 440%.

In light of this, this article examines how XRP’s value could increase by 2035 with a modest monthly growth rate of 2%.

XRP Price If It Grows 2% Per Month Until 2035

At the current price of $2.22, a 2% monthly gain would raise XRP’s value to approximately $2.2644 by the end of July. By the following month, the price would increase to $2.3097.

At this pace, XRP could reach $2.55 by the end of 2025. One year from now, XRP would be trading at around $2.872 with a consistent 2% monthly gain.

In the short term, a steady 2% monthly growth may seem modest. However, the compounding effect of consistent growth becomes more significant over time.

Specifically, five years from now, in 2030, XRP’s price would reach approximately $7.43 under this growth scenario. This would mark a new all-time high and give XRP a market cap of nearly $500 billion. Meanwhile, its fully diluted valuation is approaching $1 trillion.

By 2035, the price could rise to $24.37 based on the 2% monthly growth. This would equate to a market capitalization of nearly $1.5 trillion, potentially placing XRP ahead of companies such as Broadcom, TSMC, and Berkshire Hathaway.

Other Price Forecasts for XRP by 2035

While a 2% monthly growth implies a significant long-term increase, many in the XRP community believe the coin could hit $24 much sooner. Some even predict prices above $30 as early as 2025.

This suggests that many expect a far more rapid valuation increase than a 2% monthly growth would suggest.

For instance, Telegaon’s price forecast for XRP predicts the coin could reach as high as $87 by 2035. Similarly, crypto exchange Changelly projects XRP could hit $92.88 by December 2034. This indicates expectations of an even higher price by 2035.

XRP against BTC Nears Critical Resistance for the Fifth Time in 30 Days: Will XRP Finally Outpace Bitcoin?

The XRP-to-Bitcoin pair is again testing a major resistance level, and all eyes are on whether this latest push will finally break through.

Analyst CrediBULL Crypto highlighted the XRP/BTC pair’s price action in his latest post on X. According to his analysis, XRP/BTC is now making its fifth attempt at a breakout at a level that has faced strong rejection multiple times in recent weeks.

XRP’s Fifth Attempt at 0.00002162 BTC

Notably, the resistance zone is around 0.00002162 BTC. It has acted as a ceiling for XRP/BTC since early June. Each time the pair approached this level, it was rejected, resulting in four failed breakout attempts marked on the chart.

The current move marks the fifth retest, and market watchers are speculating whether XRP can finally close above this stubborn level.

Image
XRP/BTC 4H chart by CrediBULL

Rejection or Breakout?

CrediBULL’s chart shows a horizontal barrier at the 100% Fibonacci level, which has capped every bullish rally for the past month. He suggested that a successful breakout and daily close above this zone could trigger a bullish continuation.

In that scenario, the next major target for XRP is around 0.00002646 BTC, a level not seen since April.

However, if history repeats itself, another rejection could pull XRP/BTC back toward the 0.00001938 BTC support level. This has served as the last line of defense for bulls. In particular, XRP has tested this support twice in recent weeks, rebounding shortly after each time.

Broader Context: XRP Lagging Behind BTC

While Bitcoin continues to maintain strong dominance, XRP has struggled to gain relative strength. The coin has found it difficult to keep pace with Bitcoin’s momentum in recent months.

XRP’s price has remained largely around $2 for several weeks, while Bitcoin has been retesting its all-time high.

However, the anticipated breakout from the current move could mark a turning point. Should XRP/BTC rally to 0.00002646 BTC, as CrediBULL’s chart suggests, it would translate to a unit price of approximately $2.86. This puts XRP on track to challenge the $3 level.

Overcoming the 0.00002646 BTC resistance would set XRP up to challenge the next barrier at 0.00003411 BTC, equivalent to around $3.70. This paints a promising path for XRP to potentially break its all-time high.

XRP Could Still Reach $20–$30 Against Bitcoin

While these are short-term outlooks, CrediBULL has projected an even more promising future for XRP this cycle. Specifically, he believes XRP could reach new all-time highs against both BTC and ETH.

Based on previous ATHs in the XRP/BTC and XRP/ETH pairings, he suggested that with Bitcoin at $100K, XRP could reach $22 or more. Similarly, with Ethereum at $5K, XRP could climb to $18.

Interestingly, CrediBULL emphasized that these are conservative end-of-cycle targets, and BTC has already surpassed one of them. In parallel, he sees a $20–$30 XRP as a realistic and even conservative projection if XRP regains its prior strength relative to BTC or ETH.

Can XRP Rally 69,000% Again as Raoul Pal Expects a Repeat of 2017 Run During the Trump Cycle

Raoul Pal is expecting the market to repeat the rally from 2017 when Donald Trump first assumed office, and this could have positive implications for XRP.

Notably, since the start of 2025, the crypto market has struggled to find consistent momentum. After a strong rally between November 2024 and January 2025, the broader market, especially altcoins, has mostly moved sideways.

While Bitcoin has managed to reach new all-time highs, several altcoins, including XRP, have struggled this year. This new reality has left many investors wondering what comes next.

Raoul Pal Highlights Similarities to 2017 “Trump Cycle”

However, macro investor and Real Vision founder Raoul Pal believes the market is simply following the same path it took back in 2017, shortly after Donald Trump took office for the first time.

In a recent market analysis, Pal explained how Trump’s return to power has triggered similar reactions across global markets. For context, back in late 2016, right after Trump won the presidency, financial markets quickly responded.

Investors worried about tariffs and other drastic economic changes, pushing the dollar sharply higher by the end of the year. The same thing happened at the end of 2024 after Donald Trump won the latest presidential election.

Pal pointed out that when the dollar strengthens like this, financial conditions tighten. These effects typically show up in markets and the economy around three months later, which explains why many assets corrected in the first quarter of 2025.

A Weakening Dollar

Meanwhile, the market veteran believes there are deeper similarities. Just like in early 2017, the dollar has now started weakening again, which he sees as a result of the Trump administration’s push for a softer dollar.

According to him, this drop isn’t permanent or structural, but represents a short-term, policy-driven weakness. He says this kind of environment leads to strong performance in risk assets, including stocks and crypto. Essentially, Pal sees this as a major tailwind for the market, just like in 2017.

XRP 2017 Price Behavior

Although Pal didn’t mention XRP specifically, historical data suggests it is tracing the same path it took during the previous Trump cycle. Specifically, back in 2017, after Trump took office in January, XRP stayed quiet for the first couple of months.

However, from March 2017, it jumped from $0.0055 to $0.3988 by May of that year, posting a massive 7,150% gain in just three months. After that surge, XRP pulled back and entered a consolidation phase that lasted six months.

Then, in December 2017, it rallied again, this time from $0.2349 to its all-time high of $3.80 in January 2018. Interestingly, this run added another 1,517%. In total, XRP soared by roughly 69,000% from March 2017 to January 2018.

A Similar XRP Price Action

Now, the current setup looks similar. After Trump returned to office in November 2024, XRP climbed from $0.50 to $3.40 by January 2025, a 580% gain in three months, mirroring the first phase of the 2017 rally.

XRP Following 2017 Pattern
XRP Following 2017 Pattern

However, since February, XRP has pulled back and entered another consolidation. Today, that phase has lasted six months, just like it did back in 2017.

Many analysts believe XRP could be warming up for another breakout this month or next. Notably, market watchers like EGRAG Crypto have pointed to this timing, suggesting that if the pattern continues, XRP could soon enter its next major rally.

The question now is how far that rally might go. In the 2017 cycle, the second leg of XRP’s rally added about 21% of the gains from the initial breakout. If XRP follows the same pattern now, and adds 121.8% on top of its current rally, it could rise from $2.27 to around $5.

However, some believe it could go even higher this cycle, with the $6 price representing a minimum target. Now, if XRP doubles the strength of the projected move, it might reach $7.80 from the current price. Pal himself suggested in May that XRP will witness another uptrend.

Analyst Says Dogecoin Price Path to $0.2596 Open if It Holds This Level: Details

0

A market analyst says Dogecoin price path to a key resistance level is open if it holds above support, citing technical and momentum indicators.

The Dogecoin price chart reflects a slow but steady recovery, coupled with a phase of consolidation. Over the past week, DOGE has posted a modest gain of approximately 2.8%.

Despite this positive momentum, the price remains under resistance pressure in the upper $0.17 zone.

Dogecoin Price Forms Double Bottom, Signaling Potential Breakout

Meanwhile, analyst Tom Tucker has identified a classic technical pattern that could signal a bullish breakout. According to his analysis shared on the X platform, the daily DOGE/USDT chart reveals the emergence of a double bottom formation. This well-known reversal pattern has been forming near a strong support level at $0.1467, a zone where buyers have repeatedly stepped in.

Image

The pattern’s double bottom pattern involved two key low points. The first occurred on April 7, 2025, when the price dropped to $0.1299 before rebounding to $0.25. Meanwhile, the second bottom was on June 22, 2025, when the price touched $0.1437 and then recovered again.

These lows, which occurred near the same support zone, highlight persistent buyer interest and underscore the importance of the support level. The neckline of the pattern lies at $0.2596.

Strengthening Signals from RSI, MACD, and Whale Behavior

Supporting the bullish case are several key momentum indicators that point to improving market sentiment. Specifically, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has recovered above 47 and is now approaching the neutral 50 mark, suggesting that bearish pressure has weakened and momentum is shifting toward buyers.

Meanwhile, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator has exhibited a bullish crossover, with the MACD line moving above the signal line, typically interpreted as an early signal of upward momentum.

On the blockchain, whale accumulation is rising, providing additional confirmation. Over the past 30 days, large DOGE holders have increased their share of Dogecoin by 0.34%, while the share held by smaller investors has declined by 2.59%.

Screenshot 2025 07 08T095545092
Dogecoin Historical Concentration

This shift in ownership toward whales is generally seen as a bullish indicator, as it suggests strong hands are accumulating DOGE in anticipation of future gains.

Major Dogecoin Price Resistance Levels in Sight

The chart also includes Fibonacci retracement levels, drawn from the Dogecoin price macro low of $0.09242 to the peak of $0.48, last seen back in December 2024. These levels offer a roadmap for identifying critical zones of support and resistance. At present, Dogecoin price is trading just below the 0.786 Fibonacci level at $0.17640, which now serves as immediate resistance.

Further resistance is aligned with the neckline of the double bottom at $0.2596, which is close to the 0.618 Fibonacci level at $0.24233. Should the price break above this range, subsequent upside targets could include the 0.5 Fib level at $0.28864 and the 0.382 Fib level at $0.33495, both of which are situated along the path of Dogecoin’s previous major rally.

According to Tucker, as long as the Dogecoin price holds above the key support at $0.1467, the setup remains intact and the target of $0.2596 stays open. From the current price of $0.1681, this would require a rally of approximately 54.45%.

URPD Chart Highlights Key Supply Zones

Meanwhile, an important on-chain signal supporting the technical outlook comes from the UTXO Realized Price Distribution chart by Glassnode. This chart highlights price levels where large volumes of DOGE last moved, identifying key resistance zones where holders may sell.

Notable clusters appear at $0.1774, $0.2069, and $0.3622, levels that align with resistance areas flagged by analyst Ali Martinez.

These zones could create selling pressure as the price approaches them. The largest accumulation sits at $0.0739, where 20.03% of DOGE supply was acquired, but more immediate resistance is at $0.177 (8.94% of supply) and $0.2069 (7.24%).

A successful break above $0.21 could clear the way toward higher targets like $0.36, where another 3.82% of DOGE was last transacted.

Cardano Founder Proposes Ecosystem Treasury for ADA, Midnight, and The Top 50 Native Tokens

0

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has made another proposal for a Cardano-focused ecosystem treasury reserve, steering community reaction.

He has been persistently seeking ways to put the ecosystem’s dormant ADA treasury to work, with a suggestion in a July 8 X post becoming the latest proposition. Recall that he had earlier proposed using a portion of the stash to buy Bitcoin or a native stablecoin, teasing that it would boost Cardano DeFi and TVL.

New Proposal for Treasury Utility

In the Tuesday tweet, Hoskinson sought the thoughts of the Cardano community on an ecosystem digital asset treasury containing ADA, Midnight, and the top 50 Cardano native tokens.

Notably, this proposal bears a resemblance to his initial suggestions, but this time, he has looked inward. Recall that his call to buy and hold Bitcoin as a treasury asset sparked widespread criticism, with skeptics alleging that a top 10 project has found solace in another major rival.

The proposal would see Cardano set up a treasury that includes the Midnight token and other high-ranking native tokens. Data from CoinGecko shows that some of the top Cardano ecosystems include SNEK meme coin, World Mobile Token (WMTYX), Liquid Finance (LQ), Minswap (MIN), and Indigo Protocol (INDY).

Top 50 Too Broad?

Interestingly, the proposal started a community discussion as proponents shared their thoughts. Notably, a few users emphasized that the top 50 Cardano native tokens would encompass a lot of random tokens without intrinsic use cases.

A user stated that he is not a fan of using Cardano’s treasury to buy meme coins, while a few other reactions suggested that the proposal would be more productive if it focused on the top 20 or 25 Cardano-native tokens.

Comments On Hoskinsons Proposal
Comments On Hoskinson’s Proposal

However, while a handful of the reactions supported the proposal or something similar, a few others disagreed. For instance, a user favored Hoskinson’s initial idea of a stablecoin investment, insisting that Cardano should fix its stablecoin liquidity issues.

Remarkably, Hoskinson’s proposals all aim at moving Cardano’s treasury from an unmanaged single-asset on-chain reserve to a multiple-coin off-chain treasury. He believes this would generate yield for the ecosystem and, in turn, boost reserves.
