Arthur Hayes Sets Timeline for Altcoin Season, Predicts Bitcoin Surge to $250K, Expects Ethereum to Outperform Solana

0

Arthur Hayes, the co-founder of crypto derivatives platform BitMEX, reveals when market participants should expect this cycle’s altcoin season.

The broader crypto market has been anticipating the altcoin season, a period when the prices of alternative cryptocurrencies outperform Bitcoin. Discussions about when this event could commence have taken center stage in the crypto community since Bitcoin first hit the $100,000 mark in December 2024.

Timeline for Altcoin Season

Even though altcoins have also experienced gains, this growth still pales in comparison to previous alt seasons. With many investors asking when this cycle’s altcoin season would commence, Anna Tutova, a journalist affiliated with Fortune, recently threw this question at Hayes at the Token2049 event in Dubai.

In response, Hayes revealed that for the altcoin season to commence, Bitcoin’s price must break above $110,000. It bears mentioning that Bitcoin approached the $110,000 mark in January but failed, with its rally peaking at $109,114.

Hayes expects that once Bitcoin surpasses $110,000, increased volume will drive the price toward loftier targets like $150,000-$200,000 by summer or Q3 2025.

Afterward, he expects profit-taking in Bitcoin to follow suit, with some channeled into altcoins, potentially starting the altcoin season.

2025 Altcoin Season Would Be Smaller Compared to 2021

However, Hayes does not expect the 2025 altcoin season to match the scale of the one experienced in 2021. At that time, the prices of major altcoins skyrocketed, with some achieving over 100x gains.

He speculated that a new narrative could emerge to capture investor interest this time, possibly leading to significant spikes. Hayes also suggested that many of the older “dinosaur” tokens, especially those with high fully diluted valuations (FDVs), limited circulating supply, and minimal demand, are unlikely to rebound in the upcoming altcoin season.

Predictions for Bitcoin, Solana, and Ethereum

Hayes also shared his predictions for Bitcoin’s price trajectory in the coming months and years. According to him, Bitcoin will reach an all-time high of $250,000 by the end of the year, likely after the altcoin season.

Moreover, the crypto entrepreneur expects Bitcoin to continue its rally and eventually hit an ambitious mark of $1 million toward the end of Trump’s presidency in 2028. He issued a similar prediction for Bitcoin in his most recent Substack post.

He attributes this projected surge to several factors, including a shift of capital from traditional assets into hard assets like Bitcoin.

Ethereum to Outperform Solana

Further, he also weighed in on the debate about which altcoin, Ethereum or Solana, would outperform the other. Hayes believes Ethereum will outperform Solana over the next 18 to 24 months.

He made this assertion despite acknowledging that Solana had outperformed Ethereum since 2020, with its price growing from $7 to $265. In particular, Solana has broken its 2021 peak this season while Ethereum remains far behind. Nonetheless, he still believes Ethereum is the wiser investment.

Hayes emphasized that, despite being disliked by some, Ethereum still leads in total value locked (TVL), developer activity, and security, making it the most robust proof-of-stake blockchain.

Ripple Expands in the Middle East as Two New UAE Companies Integrate Its Payment Technology

0

The Ripple cross-border payment solution is gaining massive traction in the Persian Gulf, with two new companies adopting the blockchain-based technology.

According to a statement released Monday, two new United Arab Emirates-based (UAE) firms have adopted the Ripple Payments solution. Ripple, a prominent US-based financial technology firm, announced a partnership with Zand Bank and Mamo to expand its grip on the UAE market.

New Partnerships for Ripple Payments

Notably, Ripple’s latest collaboration will see Zand Bank and Mamo use the company’s blockchain-based payment solutions for effective cross-border remittance. Remarkably, the duo are prominent financial institutions based in the UAE.

For perspective, Zand Bank is the first commercially licensed, fully digital bank in the UAE. The financial institution has shown its flair for blockchain-focused innovation with the Ripple partnership and plans to launch an AED-backed stablecoin.

Meanwhile, Mamo is a growing fintech company based in the UAE that focuses on international remittance. The firm will leverage the institution-grade Ripple Payments for fast, seamless, and cost-effective cross-border payments for its clients.

Interestingly, Ripple’s integration of its Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin has further improved the options and credibility of its inter-region payment solution while boosting the stablecoin’s adoption. Notably, Ripple announced the addition in April, a move that sparked a debate over XRP’s utility in the ecosystem.

Ripple’s Middle East Expansion

Recently, Ripple became the first blockchain-focused payment provider to secure the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) licensing in March. Since then, its business has grown substantially in the Gulf region.

With access to the UAE’s $400 billion market and $40 billion remittance sector, Ripple has spread its coasts in the Middle East. Today’s partnership adds to the payment giant’s progress in the Middle East.

Recall that Ripple’s president, Monica Long, recently met with Emirates Group’s chairman, Ahmed bin Saeed, at the 2025 Fintech Summit in Dubai to discuss expanding its presence in the state. Notably, the increased association between the firm and the region underscores the interest of native crypto firms and traditional financial institutions in blockchain solutions.

Meanwhile, Ripple entered the UAE years ago, launching its regional headquarters in Dubai in 2020. Last year, it partnered with the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) Innovative Hub to facilitate early-stage crypto adoption in the Middle East.

Here’s The Resistance Shiba Inu Needs To Breach to Hit $0.000030

0

Analyst identifies key resistance levels for Shiba Inu; says a breakout could sustain bullish structure, otherwise price may retrace to lower demand zones.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) recorded a consistent downtrend between May 13 and May 19, moving from nearly $0.000017 to its current level near $0.00001423. This drop, totaling 14.4% over the past week and 2.1% in the last 24 hours, points to weakened short-term momentum.

Chart data suggests SHIB has formed a series of lower highs and lower lows. However, despite current bearish pressure, analysts are identifying potential breakout scenarios that could alter the market trajectory if SHIB clears key resistance levels.

Weekly Resistance Levels in Focus as Shiba Inu Consolidates

Analyst Şeyma provided a detailed multi-timeframe analysis of the 1000SHIB/USDT perpetual contract on Binance, examining both weekly and 4-hour charts.

Her weekly analysis shows that while SHIB faced a prolonged downtrend from December 2024 to early 2025, the token is now consolidating. This consolidation phase suggests a potential reversal could be on the horizon, contingent on crucial resistance levels being broken.

Image

The first key resistance lies just above $0.000015, aligning with a red resistance trendline. According to the analysis, a weekly close above this level could signal bullish continuation. However, further confirmation would require a breakout above the resistance line near $0.000017.

Only a strong breakout candle above both levels would validate the bullish market structure and open the path to a potential target of $0.000030000. If SHIB moves from $0.000014 to $0.00003, this will mark a 114.29% gain.

Resistance on Shorter Timeframes

Meanwhile, Şeyma’s 4-hour chart analysis complements the broader view by zooming into recent price movements. The chart shows that SHIB rallied sharply from below $0.00001250 to above $0.00001750, followed by a correction.

This correction has brought the price back to the $0.00001600 area. If a breakout occurs here with strong volume and momentum, it may serve as a leading signal for the weekly bullish confirmation. Until then, the price remains below the threshold required for a confirmed trend reversal.

Moreover, if bullish confirmation fails, Şeyma points to well-defined demand zones as potential retracement targets. These zones rest just under $0.000013, with a secondary support around the $0.000010 level.

Ownership Shift Signals Accumulation

Further, data from IntoTheBlock shows a recent shift in SHIB ownership dynamics. The rise in whale ownership while retail remains stable and investors slightly reduce exposure signals a transition of control toward large, patient holders.

Notably, large holders, or whales, have increased their positions by 1.60% over the last 30 days.

Screenshot 2025 05 19T092732376
Shiba Inu Ownership Data

At the same time, mid-sized investors reduced holdings by 4.99%, suggesting token transfers toward whale wallets. Retail ownership remained stable with a minor 0.46% drop, indicating no widespread panic among smaller holders.

Trendline Resistance Still Holds

Despite the accumulation, MMBTtrader, another analyst on TradingView, earlier cautioned that a longer-term bearish trend remains intact. His analysis identifies a dominant descending trendline, which has acted as resistance since early 2024.

After multiple failed attempts to breach this trendline, including a recent rejection near $0.000033, the price retraced to a local support zone at $0.000010083. MMBTtrader noted that a breakout above this trendline, which recently aligned near $0.000026, is necessary to confirm sustained bullish momentum.

He expects this resistance to lower to $0.00002044 as time progresses, with a successful breakout potentially pushing the price to $0.000033.

Here’s What Could Happen to XRP Price After CME Futures Launch

XRP is entering a new chapter as the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) prepares to launch its XRP futures contracts today, May 19.

As excitement builds, long-time trader and prominent XRP community member Aj Allen discussed how this futures launch could influence XRP’s price in the short term. His analysis relies on historical patterns and institutional trading dynamics.

CME XRP Futures: How They Work

Unlike spot trading, CME XRP futures will be cash-settled, meaning traders do not own the underlying XRP. Instead, they profit from price differences between the entry and exit points of a contract, which are settled in cash. This setup allows traders, particularly institutions, to speculate or hedge positions without directly holding the asset.

Retail traders can go long (buy) if they expect XRP’s price to rise, or short (sell) if they anticipate a decline. However, institutional players often employ more complex strategies, according to Allen.

What History Tells Us About Futures Launches

Allen pointed to two notable precedents in crypto futures launches. Specifically, Bitcoin CME Futures went live in December 2017. Allen noted that BTC reached its all-time high of $19,783 shortly after the launch, only to drop 30% to $13,800 within days. It is worth mentioning that this coincided with the peak of the bull cycle at the time.

He also highlighted that Ethereum CBOE Futures launched in February 2018. According to Allen, ETH fell from $1,400 to $1,100 shortly after the futures became available.

These examples suggest that futures markets may trigger profit-taking and downward pressure shortly after launch, as traders capitalize on overextended bullish sentiment or initiate short positions.

Allen noted that professional traders and quant-driven systems often engage in basis trading, which exploits the price gap (the “basis”) between spot and futures markets:

  • In contango (where futures price is higher than spot), traders short futures and buy spot XRP.
  • In backwardation (where futures price is less than spot price), they buy futures and short spot XRP.

This arbitrage activity forces spot and futures prices to converge but can also introduce short-term volatility.

Additionally, hedging enables XRP holders to mitigate exposure to price fluctuations. If the market turns bearish, spot holders might short XRP futures to offset potential losses.

Will XRP Follow BTC and ETH’s Post-Futures Pattern?

With XRP’s futures debut imminent, many already anticipate a price spike. However, Allen’s analysis suggests a major correction could follow, similar to what happened with BTC and ETH after their futures launches.

Essentially, if history repeats, XRP could experience a rally fueled by speculation, followed by a pullback as shorts and basis trades enter the market.

However, the actual impact will depend heavily on how institutional players engage with the product, and on the liquidity and volume these futures attract. At press time, XRP is trading at $2.35, down 3% over the past 24 hours, and remains 40% below its all-time high.

Beyond the immediate price implications of the XRP futures launch on CME, the product could also bolster XRP’s case for a spot ETF approval. Bloomberg ETF analysts have previously noted that the existence of futures or CFTC-regulated products is a key step toward spot ETF approval.

Indeed, Bitcoin and Ethereum had such products before the SEC approved their spot ETFs in 2024.

Ark Invest Predicts Timeline for Bitcoin to Hit $1,500,000

0

Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood has reiterated the potential for Bitcoin to hit a million-dollar valuation, predicting the timeline for the asset to reach this target.

Cathie Wood, the CEO and founder of Ark Investment Management, remains super bullish on Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap. In a recent interview with CNBC, Wood reiterated her firm’s expectations that Bitcoin will rally to $1.5 million.

Timeline and Possibility Theory

She shared that Bitcoin should surge to $1.5 million by 2030, roughly five years from now. Interestingly, Wood, who also acts as Ark Invest’s CIO, noted that this target is the lower boundary in a bull case scenario.

In a base case, the CEO predicted that the premier asset would surge to between $700,000 and $750,000. Meanwhile, it would reach at least $300,000 in a worst-case scenario, which is still an over twofold increase from the current market price.

Throwing more light on the logical theory behind this assertion, Wood cited several factors that would drive this ambitious price rally. For perspective, she highlighted that Bitcoin, as digital gold, will demonetize physical gold as market investors reallocate from the old to the new.

Furthermore, the Ark Invest executive emphasized that institutions “are just testing the waters” on Bitcoin. She insisted that big players have barely entered the Bitcoin market, a sentiment that Bitwise’s CIO Matt Hougan shares. Recall that he recently highlighted that 95% of Bitcoin’s supply is already in circulation and owned by entities, while 95% of investable money has yet to flow into the crypto market.

For perspective, there are 202 entities holding Bitcoin, with public companies dominating proceedings. While institutions like Strategy (568,840 BTC), Block. one (164,000 BTC), Tether (100,521 BTC), and Marathon Digital (48,137 BTC) are some of the top holders of Bitcoin, Wood suggests that capital would flow in from more major market players as adoption advances.

Meanwhile, with less than 1 million BTC left ever to be minted, Wood maintains that the dwindling supply and emerging burgeoning demand for the rare asset would spark a supply shock and drive the expected rally to $1.5 million.

Bitcoin Could Go as High as $2.4M: Ark Invest

Wood drew inspiration from a recent report shared by David Powell, an on-chain analyst associated with Ark Investment, in her Bitcoin prediction. The outline, published in April, saw the prominent asset manager revise its earlier $1 million to $1.5 million Bitcoin projection by 2030.

Citing improved adoption and the possibility that nation-states would create a reserve for the premier asset, Ark Invest forecasted that Bitcoin could surge to as high as $2.4 million in a best-case scenario.

Moreover, the report also considered the data that 40% of Bitcoin’s total supply has been vaulted or inactive, a condition that Tether’s Paolo Ardoino predicted quantum computers could change. With just 60% available and 95% already mined, the growing institutional adoption would drive prices to $2.4 million per coin.

Interestingly, there are bigger predictions for Bitcoin. Top investment manager Lawrence Lepard predicted that Bitcoin would reach $10 million in the long term, while Strategy’s Michael Saylor projected a rally to $13 million per coin in the next 20 years.

Saylor Predicts Timeline for Bitcoin Rush to End, Says Grab Your BTC Before This Deadline

0

Michael Saylor, the executive chairman of Strategy, predicted that the digital gold rush, more specifically the Bitcoin rush, would end.

Over the weekend, Saylor sparked a major debate within the crypto community by projecting the end of the digital gold rush. According to his projections, the digital gold rush for Bitcoin will end by January 7, 2035, nearly 10 years from today. Based on this projection, he urged users to ensure they acquire Bitcoin before the deadline.

Saylor Sees Bitcoin Rush Ending Sooner

As expected, the commentary has triggered a new debate around Bitcoin’s scarcity and utility as a store of value. It is common knowledge that Bitcoin has a maximum supply of 21 million coins. Of this maximum supply, 19.86 million Bitcoins are currently in circulation.

These BTCs are gradually released into circulation through rewards paid to Bitcoin miners for validating transactions on the network. Based on Bitcoin’s design, the number of BTC expected to enter the market reduces dramatically due to the Halving event.

Therefore, the last of the 21 million BTC is programmed to be mined by 2140, after which no other Bitcoins will be issued. However, Saylor has stunned many with his latest projection, stating that the rush for Bitcoin will end by January 7, 2035, instead of 2140.

Growing Bitcoin Demand

His projection comes amid growing interest in Bitcoin from institutions and governments. Bitcoin, which was initially referred to as a speculative bubble in its early days, has attracted the attention of countries and institutions like Strategy.

Notably, Strategy is leading the front in the institutional adoption of Bitcoin and has scooped 568,840 BTC since August 2020. Other companies, including Metaplanet, have also adopted Strategy’s playbook by directly buying and holding Bitcoin as a treasury asset.

Governments have also taken notice of Bitcoin. For instance, El Salvador currently holds Bitcoin as a reserve asset, while other major countries, including the United States, are exploring long-term BTC acquisitions ahead of a potential rally.

Moreover, retail users have continued to acquire Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation. This comes as many people lose confidence in legacy financial systems.

Saylor’s Bitcoin Price Predictions for Beyond 2030

Amid this growing demand, Saylor expects the digital gold rush to end by January 2035. He therefore urged investors to ensure they get a slice of the Bitcoin pie before this deadline.

Indeed, the Strategy executive chairman has remained bullish on Bitcoin’s prospects. In his view, the digital gold will hit a unit value of $1 million by 2033. Meanwhile, farther into the future, he expects Bitcoin to hit a market cap of $500 trillion someday, translating to a price of $23.8 million per BTC.

President Nayib Bukele Shares Updated Figures on El Salvador Bitcoin Holdings

0

El Salvador’s national Bitcoin portfolio has seen substantial appreciation, producing over $357 million in unrealized profit.

President Nayib Bukele shared updated figures on the country’s Bitcoin holdings on X earlier today. The disclosure included a screenshot of the country’s Bitcoin wallet, showing a total valuation of more than $644.4 million.

According to data from the nation’s Bitcoin office, the country currently holds 6,181 BTC, acquired at a cumulative cost of approximately $287.1 million.

El Salvador’s massive Bitcoin profit coincides with BTC’s latest rally. The price of BTC stood at $103,051 at the time of writing. Although the asset had declined 0.38% in the past 24 hours and 0.97% over the last week, it remains only 5.3% below its all-time high.

The recent upward momentum in price is attributed to growing investor confidence in Bitcoin’s long-term outlook and optimism surrounding a potential resolution to the ongoing U.S.-China trade tensions.

Accumulation Continues Despite IMF Agreement

El Salvador’s accumulation strategy remains unchanged despite prior commitments made under a financial deal with the International Monetary Fund. In December, the government and the IMF reached an agreement for El Salvador to limit Bitcoin-related activities as part of a broader package worth more than $3.5 billion. This included a $1.4 billion loan. As part of the terms, the country passed legislation in January to make Bitcoin acceptance voluntary for the private sector.

However, the president affirmed through social media that the purchase of Bitcoin would continue. The decision comes despite earlier concerns raised by the IMF that El Salvador’s Bitcoin reserves posed financial risks, though such risks had not yet materialized.

The government has maintained its position to move forward with its accumulation regardless of external pressure, citing its long-term commitment to the strategy.

Ongoing Institutional Interest

The government’s Bitcoin activity continues to attract attention from global crypto institutions. In February, MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor met with President Bukele to discuss Bitcoin adoption strategies.

The discussion focused on how El Salvador could scale its use of Bitcoin locally and internationally. Saylor’s firm currently holds 568,840 BTC and has consistently promoted Bitcoin as a long-term store of value.

Shiba Inu Price Prediction: Here’s What SHIB Could Be Worth If It Reaches Half of Ethereum’s Market Cap

0

Shiba Inu could delete a zero and hit a new all-time high if it becomes half as big as Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap.

The relief rally in the crypto market has continued to benefit Shiba Inu, with its market cap soaring from the $7 billion region to above $8 billion.

Shiba Inu’s Relationship with Ethereum

Others predicted that Shiba Inu might eventually become half as big as Ethereum if it continues its rally. This speculation is driven by Shiba Inu’s close relationship with Ethereum.

At some point, popular Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya referred to SHIB as Ethereum’s number one loyal ERC-20 token. Shiba Inu debuted on the Ethereum blockchain in August 2020, and since then, SHIB has remained one of the top ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.

In addition, Ethereum is currently the blockchain powering Shiba Inu’s ecosystem projects, including Shib: The Metaverse and its scaling solution Shibarium. As a result, many wonder whether Shiba Inu would be able to be half as big as Ethereum and how high SHIB’s price would grow if this happens.

SHIB Price If It Captures 50% of ETH Market Cap

By becoming half as big as Ethereum, Shiba Inu must capture half or 50% of ETH’s valuation. Shiba Inu is currently trading at $0.00001420. Shiba Inu has a market cap of $9.44 billion and is currently ranked as the 16th biggest cryptocurrency globally.

Similarly, Ethereum has experienced slight gains amid the ongoing relief rally, with its price also soaring 2.42% in the past day to $2,370. ETH remains the second-biggest cryptocurrency globally, boasting a market cap of $286.14 billion.

Notably, half of Ethereum’s market cap translates to $143.07 billion. This could be Shiba Inu’s new market cap if SHIB becomes half as big as ETH. A valuation of $143.07 billion would push SHIB’s price to a new all-time high of $0.0002428. This estimate assumes that SHIB’s supply remains static around the 589.25 trillion mark.

Potential Timeline to $0.0002428 Target

Meanwhile, market commentators have dropped insights on whether it is possible for SHIB to rise to the $0.0002428 target. Interestingly, most of them believe the target is realistic, as reflected in their previous predictions.

Last year, popular Bitcoin investor Moataz “Eljaboom” Elsayed speculated that Shiba Inu could clinch the $0.00024 target if it replicates its Q2 2021 performance.

In addition, a previous Crypto Basic analysis conducted this year suggested that SHIB could rise to the $0.00024 target if Solana’s price soared to $3,000 per coin.

Notably, Changelly put a timeline regarding when Shiba Inu would hit the $0.0002428 target. According to Changelly, Shiba Inu will achieve the feat by November 2031, six years from now. However, the top prediction platform Telegaon believes the $0.0002428 target will become a reality by 2028.

Holding 10M, 100M, or 500M Shiba Inu? Here’s Your Net Worth at $0.0001 or $0.0005

0

Early investors could see the value of their Shiba Inu investments skyrocket massively if SHIB’s price rallies toward lofty targets like $0.0001 or $0.0005.

The recent market onslaught affected notable cryptocurrencies like Shiba Inu (SHIB), crashing their prices over the weekend. In particular, Shiba Inu, which clinched a multi-month high of $0.00001757 on May 12, plunged to the $0.000014 mark a few days later.

Most SHIB Investors Currently Underwater

As of 6:40 a.m. (UTC) on May 17, 2025, Shiba Inu was trading at $0.00001425, down 8.17% over the past week. Notably, the price of Shiba Inu plummeted by 5.93% within 24 hours alone, causing investors huge losses.

Fresh data from IntoTheBlock confirms that about 80.80% of all Shiba Inu on-chain holders are currently in losses at the current price. These investors hold a combined 796.14 trillion SHIB tokens.

On the other hand, 16.59% of Shiba Inu investors holding 163.42 trillion SHIB are in profit at the current price of $0.00001425. The remaining 2.61% of Shiba Inu holders currently hold a total of 25.47 trillion SHIB and are at breakeven. This implies that these investors are neither in profit nor in loss.

Shiba Inu In and Out of the Money | IntoTheBlock
Shiba Inu In and Out of the Money | IntoTheBlock

Even though the majority of Shiba Inu investors are underwater, this has not dampened their hopes in SHIB. Notably, they are anticipating a major price rebound that could take Shiba Inu’s price to bullish targets ranging from $0.0001 to $0.0005.

Path to $0.0001 and $0.0005

Hitting the targets of $0.0001 and $0.0005 would require Shiba Inu to erase a zero from its price and eventually trade with three zeros after its decimal.

It is worth mentioning that Shiba Inu came close to achieving this milestone in October 2021 when its price soared to an all-time high of $0.00008845. However, it could not sustain the bullish momentum, leading to a massive plunge from its peak price.

For Shiba Inu to clinch the $0.0001 target, its price must increase by 601.75% from the current level of $0.00001425. However, reaching the $0.0005 demands a greater surge of 3,408% from the current price.

Assuming Shiba Inu’s circulating supply remains constant at 589.24 trillion tokens, reaching the $0.0001 and $0.0005 targets would push SHIB’s valuation to $58.92 billion and $294.62 billion, respectively.

Timeline for Shiba Inu Surge to $0.0001 and $0.0005

The good news is that several analysts believe the $0.0001 and $0.0005 targets are within reach for Shiba Inu. While most experts think Shiba Inu would clinch the $0.0001 mark this year, others believe it will take a few more years for the $0.0005 target to materialize.

Analysts like Eunice Wong suggests that Shiba Inu would rally to the $0.0001 territory this year. However, Changelly experts see the $0.0001 price forecast materializing by July 2029, projecting that SHIB would hit a maximum target of $0.000102 by then.

The same Changelly analysts forecast that Shiba Inu would soar to the $0.0005 territory five years later, specifically by April 2034.

Worth of 10M, 100M, 500M SHIB at $0.0001 or $0.0005

If Shiba Inu eventually hits the $0.0001 or $0.0005 targets, early investors would be the biggest gainers of this remarkable price increase.

Specifically, investors holding 10 million, 100 million, and 500 million Shiba Inu tokens today would see their investments’ value skyrocket massively. For context, portfolios of 10 million, 100 million, and 500 million Shiba Inu tokens are worth $142.5, $1,425, and $7,125, respectively.

If Shiba Inu soars to the $0.0001, a 10 million SHIB portfolio would be valued at $1,000, while the 100 million and 500 million SHIB holdings would be worth $10,000 and $50,000, respectively.

At $0.0005, this 10 million SHIB portfolio would be worth $5,000. Moreover, if SHIB eventually clinches the $0.0005 target, the 100 million and 500 million SHIB token holdings would be valued at around $50,000 and $250,000, respectively.

Here’s XRP Price If Ripple Surpasses Google, Apple, and Microsoft after IPO

XRP price could surge dramatically if it witnesses proportionate growth in a scenario where Ripple overtakes Google, Apple, and Microsoft after its IPO.

Ripple has recently been the subject of much attention as talks about a possible initial public offering (IPO) grow louder. These discussions come despite the company’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse suggesting they are not immediately considering an IPO.

Ripple’s Current Position

According to estimates from notice.co, Ripple currently has a pre-IPO valuation of about $10.88 billion. However, this number is still speculative, and no official statement confirms it.

Looking at the broader tech space, Ripple would have a long way to go to catch up following its IPO. Microsoft stands as the most valuable company in the world, with a market cap of $3.376 trillion. Apple follows at third with $3.155 trillion, and Google holds a $2.021 trillion valuation, being fifth.

Meanwhile, even though XRP operates independently of Ripple, any developments involving the company tend to affect investor sentiment around the asset. As a result, many believe if Ripple goes public, it could lead to a boost in XRP price.

This has triggered questions about XRP’s potential reaction if Ripple grew to the level of Google, Apple, or Microsoft after an IPO.

XRP Price if Ripple Surpasses Google, Apple and Microsoft

To explore this, we asked Grok, the AI chatbot from xAI, to help us understand what XRP price might look like in such a situation. Currently, XRP is trading at $2.37, with around 58.62 billion tokens in circulation, putting its total market value at about $138.93 billion.

Grok compared XRP’s current market cap to Ripple’s estimated value. With XRP’s market cap sitting at about $138.93 billion and Ripple valued at $10.88 billion, Grok arrived at a ratio of roughly 12.77. This means XRP’s market cap is about 12.77 times larger than Ripple’s valuation today.

Using that ratio, Grok suggested that if Ripple reached Google’s market cap of $2.021 trillion, XRP’s market value could grow to around $25.81 trillion. Dividing that by the current supply of tokens would give XRP a price of about $440.46.

However, if Ripple grew to Apple’s level of $3.155 trillion, Grok said XRP could reach around $687.47. Meanwhile, in the most ambitious case, if Ripple matched Microsoft’s $3.376 trillion valuation, Grok predicted a price of about $735.58 for XRP.

XRP Price Estimates Grok AI

Important Caveats

However, Grok also pointed out that these numbers rely on simple assumptions. The analysis assumes that XRP’s value will always grow at the same pace as Ripple’s, which may not be the case in reality.

It also assumes that the number of XRP tokens stays the same, even though Ripple escrow releases more tokens monthly.

The chatbot also warned that these prices are extremely high compared to XRP’s current price and its all-time high of $3.84 in 2018. For XRP to reach a price of $735, it would need widespread use globally, clear rules from regulators, and major investments from institutions, and these conditions are not yet in place.

According to Grok, these are highly speculative. Most realistic predictions for XRP through 2025 to 2030 range between $3 and $20.
