Here is How Much 10K, 100K, 500K in XRP could be worth in 2027, 2035, and 2045

Investors holding between 10,000 and 500,000 XRP tokens could see their investments reach substantial levels in 2027, 2035, and 2045.

Notably, XRP has shown limited price movement recently, hovering around the $2.2 level for over a week. This period of consolidation has created uncertainty within the crypto market, with traders growing anxious about the asset’s next direction.

While the broader market exhibits hesitation, some investors see this consolidation as a buying opportunity, setting themselves up ahead of a possible price surge.

Rising XRP Accumulation Amid Price Stagnation

Despite the sideways trading activity, a particular group of investors has taken advantage of the price stability to accumulate XRP. Specifically, wallet addresses holding between 10,000 and 500,000 XRP have seen a notable increase.

Since the end of April, this category of holders has grown by 608 addresses, reaching a total of 295,830. Also, in just five days, these investors accumulated an additional 20 million XRP tokens, amounting to around $44 million.

This accumulation trend shows growing optimism about XRP’s future potential. Many of these investors are banking on XRP’s long-term prospects and expecting that the asset will deliver substantial returns once certain bullish market predictions materialize.

To understand what the future might hold for XRP, we examined forecasts from three sources: ChatGPT, Grok AI, and Telegaon. Each platform presented its vision of XRP’s potential price trajectory through 2027, 2035, and 2045 using assumptions related to adoption and market maturity.

XRP Price Predictions for 2027

All three sources suggest significant price growth for XRP by 2027. ChatGPT projects the price could reach $5.50 due to expanding use cases in global payments and increased crypto adoption. Grok AI also forecasts a $5.50 value, highlighting regulatory clarity and improved utility.

Meanwhile, Telegaon presents a more optimistic view, suggesting XRP might climb as high as $16.71 within this time frame, assuming there are bullish market conditions and ecosystem expansion.

XRP Price Predictions for 2035

By 2035, predictions from the three platforms are completely far apart. For instance, ChatGPT expects XRP to hit $15, influenced by deeper institutional integration and its role as a global liquidity asset.

Grok AI is slightly more conservative, forecasting a price of $12 based on Ripple’s potential growth and the maturation of the crypto market. However, Telegaon takes a highly bullish stance, predicting that XRP could rise to $87.49.

XRP Price Predictions for 2045

Meanwhile, ChatGPT sees XRP reaching $40 in 2045, citing the widespread use of blockchain in finance and the dominance of XRP as a bridge currency.

Grok AI forecasts a lower $25 price under the assumption that XRP becomes a mainstream standard for international financial transactions. Telegaon does not provide a specific forecast for 2045 but does offer a 2040 estimate of $160.34, which already surpasses the 2045 projections from the AI platforms.

What 10K XRP Could Be Worth in 2027, 2035, and 2045

For an investor holding 10,000 XRP currently worth $22,000, based on ChatGPT’s projections, the value of these 10,000 tokens would be $55,000 in 2027, $150,000 in 2035, and $400,000 in 2045.

Meanwhile, following Grok AI’s estimates would place the worth of these 10,000 XRP tokens at $55,000 in 2027, $120,000 in 2035, and $250,000 in 2045.

However, under Telegaon’s more bullish forecast, the value of the 10,000 XRP jumps to $167,100 in 2027 and $874,900 in 2035. Using their 2040 figure as a proxy for 2045, a massive $1.603 million.

What 100K XRP Could Be Worth in 2027, 2035, and 2045

Meanwhile, an investor with 100,000 XRP, currently worth $220,000, could see the value of these tokens soar to $550,000 by 2027, $1.5 million by 2035, and $4 million by 2045, leveraging ChatGPT’s forecasts.

According to Grok AI, the 100,000 tokens would be worth $550,000 in 2027, $1.2 million in 2035, and $2.5 million in 2045. However, based on Telegaon’s data, their worth would rise to $1.671 million by 2027, $8.749 million by 2035, and $16.03 million by 2040.

What 500K XRP Could Be Worth in 2027, 2035, and 2045

For those holding 500,000 XRP, currently valued at $1.1 million, the future valuations could look like this. First, ChatGPT’s forecast suggests the 500,000 tokens would be worth $2.75 million in 2027, $7.5 million in 2035, and $20 million by 2045.

Meanwhile, Grok AI projects the tokens to be worth $2.75 million in 2027, $6 million in 2035, and $12.5 million in 2045. Further, Telegaon’s bullish outlook puts 500K XRP at $8.355 million in 2027, $43.745 million in 2035, and $80.17 million by 2040.

Here What Will 1 XRP Be Worth If It Matches the US M1 Money Supply

The price of XRP could reach greater heights if the asset’s market capitalization matches the U.S. M1 money supply.

Despite recent range-bound price action, optimism surrounding XRP remains strong among crypto analysts. Many experts see a future where XRP achieves extraordinary price milestones.

Some projections even suggest the altcoin could soar to $50 or as high as $100, especially if its reputation as a global payment solution becomes widely recognized.

Amid these wild projections, The Crypto Basic recently assessed how high XRP’s value could climb if its market cap equaled the United States’ M1 money supply.

XRP Price if It Attained M1 Money Supply

For context, the U.S. M1 money supply, as reported by CEIC Data, stood at an impressive $18,455.9 billion (or $18.4559 trillion) in January 2025. This marked a slight increase from $18,433.9 billion in December 2024, indicating continued growth in the most liquid forms of money within the American economy.

Notably, the M1 money supply includes physical cash, demand deposits like checking accounts, and other assets that are easily convertible to cash for spending.

Meanwhile, XRP currently trades around $2.23, having gained about 7% over the past week. According to CoinMarketCap data, XRP holds a circulating supply of 58.39 billion tokens, with a total supply over 99 billion tokens. Its current market cap sits at around $130.4 billion.

If XRP’s market cap matched the U.S. M1 money supply, the asset’s total valuation would surge to $18.4559 trillion. Notably, if this $18.4559 trillion market cap translates to XRP’s fully diluted market cap, then the price per XRP would reach $186, considering the total supply of 99.98 billion tokens.

However, if this $18.4559 trillion valuation translates to XRP’s actual market cap, its price per token would sit at $316, considering the circulating supply of 58.39 billion tokens. This scenario shows what the XRP market could look like if it captured the liquidity represented by M1.

Could XRP Hit $186 and $316?

Interestingly, analysts from the crypto exchange Changelly are notably bullish on XRP’s long-term prospects. They forecast that XRP could reach a maximum price of $315 by February 2040, aligning with the $316 theoretical price target derived from the M1 supply comparison.

Further, these analysts expect XRP to hit this $186 milestone as soon as January 2040, just a month earlier than their higher-end forecast.

While Changelly’s projections indicate bullishness, not all analysts share the same level of enthusiasm. Experts from Telegaon present a more conservative outlook. They do not foresee XRP reaching $186 or $315 by 2040.

Instead, they predict that XRP’s maximum price in that year would peak at $160. Telegaon analysts expect XRP could eventually touch $186, but only between 2040 and 2050. However, they maintain skepticism that XRP would ever attain the $315 valuation, even beyond 2050.

Here’s How Much Shiba Inu You Need to Retire Early If SHIB Hits $1T Market Cap

0

Investors would need to procure a substantial amount of Shiba Inu tokens to retire early if SHIB’s market cap hits $1 trillion.

Many individuals have become obsessed with the quest to retire early–leaving the workforce before the specified retirement age. This rationale hinges on accumulating sufficient financial resources to cover one’s living expenses indefinitely.

Consequently, these individuals have adopted different approaches to achieving early retirement, including smart investing, inheritance, and disciplined savings. However, the most common approach is to invest wisely in assets with strong potential for jaw-dropping returns.

Notably, cryptocurrencies like Shiba Inu (SHIB) rank among the assets with such prospects. This is majorly because SHIB helped many investors to retire early in the 2020/2021 market cycle following its jaw-dropping rally.

Shiba Inu Lead Predicts $1T Market Cap for SHIB

Although SHIB has yet to record another major price surge, a bullish prediction from Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, has helped to keep investors’ faith in the token alive.

Recall that in January, Kusama speculated that Shiba Inu would stun many investors when it reached a valuation of $1 trillion.

He made the assertion while backing a bullish forecast from popular community figure ‘Shib Research,’ who indicated that Shiba Inu would one day climb to a market cap of $1 trillion.

Shiba Inu’s Price at $1T Market Cap

At the moment, Shiba Inu ranks as the 17th biggest cryptocurrency in the world, with its valuation standing at $7.98 billion. This puts the price of SHIB at $0.00001358 per token in the hours leading up to press time.

If Shiba Inu’s market cap surges to $1 trillion with its supply remaining constant, a unit of SHIB would trade at $0.001697. This represents a monumental surge of 12,396% from the current price.

Despite the hefty growth required for SHIB’s potential surge to the $0.001697 price target or $1 trillion valuation, many investors have remained optimistic that SHIB would achieve the milestone and give them early retirement.

Interestingly, these individuals hope to retire early when they accumulate a net worth of $1 million. They believe this amount is enough to cover their living expenses indefinitely.

Number of SHIB Needed to Retire If SHIB Hits $1T Market Cap

Amid this projection, we estimated the number of SHIB tokens an investor would need to make $1 million once Shiba Inu’s market cap reaches $1 trillion, approximately $0.001697 per token.

To reach the $1 million retirement goal, an investor must hold at least 589,275,191 (589.27 million) Shiba Inu tokens. These 589.27 million SHIB tokens can be procured at $8,002 at the current price of $0.00001358.

This portfolio of 589.27 million SHIB tokens, currently worth $8,002 today, would be valued at $1 million if Shiba Inu’s market cap reaches $1 trillion as projected by Kusama.

While this analysis may seem lucrative, caution is still advised as there is no guarantee that SHIB would reach a valuation of $1 trillion or $0.001697 per token in its lifetime.

Nonetheless, popular crypto trading platform Changelly predicts that SHIB will hit the $0.001697 target by January 2040, less than 15 years from now. However, Telegaon, a prediction platform, thinks the $0.001697 prediction will materialize sooner, by 2035.

Here’s How High XRP Could Reach if Bitcoin Reaches $2.4M as Predicted by Ark Invest

XRP price could see an impressive spike if it follows the path laid out by Bitcoin as the firstborn crypto claims the new bull target from Ark Invest.

For context, leading asset manager Ark Invest recently adjusted its Bitcoin price predictions for the end of the current decade, considering prevailing market realities. As reported by The Crypto Basic, the firm presented this update in a report within the series “Big Ideas 2025.”

Ark Invest Predicts Bitcoin to $2.4M in Bull Case Scenario

Specifically, analysts at the firm believe Bitcoin’s worst-case scenario would see its price reach a range of $300,000 to $500,000 by 2030, with the base case scenario projecting a run to $1.2 million. Meanwhile, they expect an uptick to $2.4 million by 2030 in the bull case, representing a 73% compound annual growth rate (CAGR).

For context, the $2.4 million price would represent a massive 2,435% increase from Bitcoin’s current price of around $94,000. However, it is important to note that such an impressive increase in the pioneering crypto asset’s price would have a widespread impact on the broader crypto market, with XRP potentially benefiting.

Bitcoin and XRP Price Correlation

Notably, CoinMarketCap data confirms that over the past month, XRP price has persistently followed Bitcoin’s direction with some slight deviations. However, both assets have generally taken the same path this month, especially during the market-wide turbulence amid macroeconomic tensions.

Bitcoin and XRP Price Correlation CoinMarketCap
Bitcoin and XRP Price Correlation | CoinMarketCap

Interestingly, with BTC up 7.7% in the last 7 days, XRP has increased 7.1% within the same period. While this close price correlation can be detrimental if Bitcoin sees a downtrend, the phenomenon is also beneficial to XRP when the firstborn crypto records a massive uptick in price. Consequently, a rally to the $2.4 million mark would equally lead to an impressive run for XRP price.

XRP Price if BTC Reaches $2.4M

Specifically, as Bitcoin increases by 2,435% to the $2.4 million price mark, XRP could observe a comparative 2,400% increase. With XRP price currently sitting at $2.27, a rally of this magnitude would push it to $56.75. Notably, earlier this month, market analyst Cryptominder projected XRP price to claim the $50 range by 2030.

However, while analysts at Changelly believe this price is attainable, they don’t expect XRP to reach it in the next five years. Instead, they project a possible run to $50.12 as XRP’s maximum price in February 2033, eight years from now. For perspective, a $56.75 price would push XRP’s market cap to $3.3 trillion, larger than the current global crypto market cap.

Nonetheless, XRP currently boasts a market dominance of 4.55% at press time. If the asset’s dominance remains stable while it claims the $56.75 price level, this would translate to a global crypto market cap of $72.53 trillion. At this level, Bitcoin’s market cap would sit at $46.6 trillion if it maintained its dominance of 64.23%.

Crypto Founder Says Not Holding XRP Is a Bigger Risk Than Holding It

Crypto founder Edoardo Farina has reiterated his ambitious stance on XRP, arguing that not holding XRP is the biggest investment risk.

Farina shared this bold view in response to a statement from EasyA founder Dom Kwok, who asserted that crypto is not a risky venture. Rather, he suggested that not investing in crypto is what’s truly risky.

Kwok’s statement taps into the belief that crypto is the future and will drive the next financial revolution. However, despite the growing utility, progress, and education surrounding the crypto space, some prominent critics continue to dismiss its relevance, labeling it a risky endeavor.

Nonetheless, crypto advocates like Kwok argue that the opposite is true. His statement suggests that those not involved in crypto now risk missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, such as getting in early or being part of the coming financial revolution.

Notably, some attribute the hesitation to engage with crypto to a desire for psychological safety. Still, crypto advocates believe that not stepping outside the norm is the real risk.

“Not Holding XRP Is the Biggest Risk”

Meanwhile, industry commentators like Farina have taken this sentiment even further, singling out XRP as the preferred asset to hold amid the brewing crypto revolution. He emphasized that XRP itself is not risky; rather, the “biggest risk” is not investing in XRP.

This perspective builds on his ongoing and fervent advocacy for XRP. In numerous posts, Farina has urged crypto enthusiasts to hold at least 1,000 XRP, which he believes is the minimum threshold to “position for success.” In his view, not holding this minimum amount is an irrational investment strategy.

At other times, he has encouraged investors to hold enough XRP to qualify for the top 10% of the XRP Rich List, requiring 2,500 tokens at the time of writing. In a bold declaration, Farina argued that holding 10,000 XRP could lead to an “unfathomable financial breakthrough.”

The key point of these daring statements is his outlook that XRP could be worth significantly more in the future—and that, in hindsight, investors may regret not holding enough.

For instance, Farina once argued that a future where one XRP token is worth $10,000 is “inevitable.” In this hypothetical scenario, 10,000 XRP tokens, worth around $22,500 today, would be valued at $100 million.

Critics Disagree

Although this projection has been widely dismissed, even within the XRP community, it highlights Farina’s bold optimism about XRP and his belief that more people should be holding the coin.

However, not everyone shares his enthusiasm. Replying to his tweet, some users remarked that they hold only as much XRP as they can afford to lose. Others suggested that holding XRP might leave investors broke for decades, sarcastically referring to it as a “stablecoin.”

These perspectives stem from XRP’s well-known underperformance. While the coin has shown periods of impressive growth, it is still trading below its all-time high seven years and counting. This continued stagnation is a key reason many critics remain skeptical of XRP’s potential.

Top Bitcoin Maxi Predicts XRP Peak Price for 2025

0

A famous Bitcoin advocate speculates that XRP could spike significantly this year, setting an audacious target for the fourth-biggest crypto.

In a recent YouTube Short, Davinci Jeremie forecasted that the price of XRP could reach a lofty target of $24 in 2025. Reaching the $24 mark demands an increase of 971% from the current price of $2.24.

Such a lofty target would increase XRP’s market cap from $131.35 billion to $1.4 trillion. This estimate assumes that XRP’s circulating supply remains constant at around 58.44 billion coins.

Potential Catalyst for XRP Surge

According to him, the prediction is driven by the continued support XRP has received from U.S. government officials. In his view, government officials are supporting XRP at the federal level.

This is reflected in President Donald Trump’s mention of the coin among the assets that could be featured in the U.S. crypto reserve initiative. The U.S. SEC is also negotiating with Ripple to resolve its longstanding lawsuit.

The favorable treatment of XRP by the U.S. government could enhance the coin’s credibility, which in turn could drive its demand and price to $24, as projected by Jeremie.

Jeremie Advocates Against XRP, Reiterates Support for Bitcoin

Despite this positive outlook, Jeremie cautioned investors against buying XRP, which he referred to as ‘the banker coin.’ This is because several banks are leveraging XRP for cross-border settlements due to its speed and low-cost attributes.

Therefore, Jeremie, who has been a long-time critic of XRP, sees it as a coin developed for banks. He opined that investing in XRP is the same as empowering the same financial institutions that make gains at the expense of users.

As a result, he urged viewers to sell their XRP holdings for Bitcoin, stating that the firstborn crypto is a better investment vehicle than XRP. In addition, Jeremie speculated that Bitcoin could outperform XRP in the long run.

While Jeremie projected XRP’s potential surge to the $24 target, he still acknowledged that the forecast is speculative and not guaranteed.

“I’m not saying that [XRP would go to $24 in 2025], but there is a good chance that might happen,” Jeremie remarked.

This suggests that while Jeremie expects XRP to hit $24 this year, the coin may not achieve the milestone. Essentially, he urges investors to remain cautious in their exposure to XRP.

XRP Potential Surge to $24

Meanwhile, the $24 prediction is not new in the XRP community, as several experts have forecasted XRP’s climb to this level.

Last month, popular crypto analyst EGRAG leveraged the Elliott Wave structure to forecast that XRP could surpass the $24 mark to ambitious targets like $110. However, EGRAG did not set a timeline for when this prediction might come to fruition.

Changelly, on the other hand, predicts that XRP might clinch the $24 price by February 2031, six years from when Jeremie expects his forecast to materialize.

Ripple Unlocks 1,000,000,000 XRP From Escrow Amid Rumors of Circle Acquisition

0

San Francisco-based blockchain infrastructure company Ripple has released its standard allotment of 1 billion XRP from escrow for May 2025.

Ripple unlocked all 1 billion XRP from escrow in three separate transactions in the late hours of yesterday. For the first transaction, Ripple unlocked 200 million XRP ($440.52 million) at 22:28 (UTC) to one of its addresses labeled Ripple (26).

The company released another 300 million XRP ($660.86 million) from escrow to the same Ripple (26) address a minute later. At 22:31 (UTC), the company unlocked another 500 million XRP worth $1.1 billion to a separate address, tagged Ripple (27).

Overall, it released 1 billion XRP ($2.2 billion) from escrow for May 2025, with Ripple (26) receiving 500 million XRP in two tranches and Ripple (27) getting 500 million XRP in one transaction. At the time of publication, each address had a balance of 500 million XRP.

Ripple Locks 700M XRP in May 2025

The latest transaction comes exactly 24 hours after Ripple shuffled 1 billion XRP, with 700 million of these tokens sent to escrow. As previously reported, both Ripple (26) and Ripple (27) were involved in the May 1 transaction.

Specifically, Ripple (26) moved 500 million XRP to two addresses, Ripple (1) and Ripple (14), with each receiving 300 million XRP and 200 million XRP, respectively. On the other hand, Ripple (27) sent 500 million XRP to three different addresses labeled Ripple (14), Ripple (15), and Ripple (51).

While Ripple (14) received 300 million XRP from Ripple (27), Ripple (15) and Ripple (51) collected 30 million XRP and 170 million XRP, respectively.

Following the transactions, Ripple (14) locked 500 million XRP in escrow. Ripple (15) and (51) followed suit by locking the 200 million XRP they both received from Ripple (27) in escrow. This brings the total number of XRP locked in escrow this month to 700 million XRP.

Previously, Ripple usually released its standard 1 billion XRP from escrow before re-locking 700 million back. However, the company changed this practice in recent months. Now, it first locks the 700 million XRP in escrow before releasing the 1 billion XRP. The 300 million XRP balance is used for different purposes, including providing liquidity on exchanges.

Ripple Reportedly Moves to Acquire Circle

Meanwhile, the recent development coincides with reports that Ripple is seeking to acquire USDC stablecoin issuer Circle. The reports suggested that Circle rejected Ripple’s initial offer of $5 billion, prompting the blockchain infrastructure company to raise its bid to $20 billion.

However, several crypto stakeholders, including Dom Kwok, co-founder of Web3 education startup EasyA, refuted the $20 billion claim, noting that the offer is implausible.

In the meantime, Ripple and Circle have not confirmed whether they are negotiating a deal. Nonetheless, the reports align with Ripple’s commitment to prioritize acquisition over IPO.

‘I Bought XRP at $0.10 to Cash Out at $100, Not to Be Shaken Out at $2,’ Expert Says

Widely followed XRP community influencer BarriC has reiterated his long-term outlook for XRP, dismissing concerns about price stagnation.

According to the pundit, he did not invest in XRP during its early days, when it traded at $0.10, only to be shaken out of the market now due to short-term fluctuations around $2. “I didn’t buy XRP at $0.10 to be shaken out at $2,” he said.

Notably, XRP has remained stagnant around the $2 mark for over three months. A major shakeout occurred in April when the price dropped to $1.61. It recovered afterward despite prominent predictions of a dip below $1.

However, the asset has continued to trade below $2.30. This performance has frustrated investors who were hoping for XRP to build on its late 2024 momentum and break its all-time high.

Amid this anxiety, community voices like BarriC are encouraging investors to view the current price as a temporary opportunity to accumulate XRP while it is still relatively cheap.

Aiming to Profit from XRP at $50, $100, and $1,000

BarriC stated that he bought XRP at $0.10 with the intention of taking profit at strategic price levels such as $2, $5, and $10, not to sell early due to “perceived underperformance.”

He added that he is holding his position in XRP to take further profits at much higher levels, including $20, $50, and even $100. To put things into perspective, a $1,000 investment in XRP at $0.10 would be worth $1 million if the token reaches $100.

Essentially, BarriC emphasized his commitment to remaining an XRP investor and weathering the storm in hopes of achieving this potential financial success. He stressed that his plan is to hold XRP until a future where it could be worth $1,000 per coin.

As a result, he remains unconcerned by XRP’s current price performance and continues to encourage other XRP investors to adopt a similar long-term perspective.

When Can XRP Reach $500 or $1,000?

BarriC has repeatedly claimed that in the coming years, even a $500 price, which many currently view as unrealistic, will be a bargain. He expects this to happen by 2033, just seven years from now.

However, not all industry commentators share this optimistic outlook. For instance, analysts at Changelly argue it could take up to 15 years or until 2040 for XRP to reach $500. Interestingly, they also believe a $1,000 price could be possible by then.

On the other hand, Telegaon predicts that XRP will be worth a maximum of only $160 by 2040. Even by 2050, it would still only reach around $285, according to their estimates.

Has Ripple Raised Its Circle Acquisition Bid to $20B? Expert Shares Why This Might Be Unrealistic

Several crypto commentators have circulated rumors suggesting Ripple has raised its Circle acquisition bid by a massive 4x, but there’s no confirmation yet.

Recall that reports recently emerged noting that Ripple initially offered between $4 billion and $5 billion to acquire Circle, the company behind the second-largest stablecoin, USDC. According to Bloomberg, Circle turned the offer down and focused instead on its upcoming IPO.

Despite Ripple’s growing ambitions in the stablecoin space through its own RLUSD, which holds a market cap of $317 million compared to USDC’s $61.7 billion, Circle concluded that the initial offer was insufficient.

Has Ripple Raised the Circle Acquisition Bid to $20B?

However, claims surfaced on X, alleging that Ripple had increased its offer to a staggering $20 billion, a massive 4x spike. These claims quickly circulated among crypto commentators, with numerous posts on May 2 echoing the revised figure.

Further, media platform Cointelegraph briefly reported on the $20 billion rumor in a tweet, only to delete it later due to the absence of an official source. Amid the frenzy, a spokesperson for Circle declined to comment, citing regulatory restrictions linked to its SEC quiet period.

However, skepticism has emerged. Vet, a validator from the XRPL’s Unique Node List, advised market participants to treat the $20 billion rumor cautiously. Vet stressed that neither Ripple nor Circle has issued any confirmation.

EasyA Co-founder Shares Why the $20B Offer Might be Unrealistic

Meanwhile, Dom Kwok, co-founder of Web3 education startup EasyA, discussed why the $20 billion offer could be unrealistic. Drawing on his prior experience at Goldman Sachs and Blackstone, Kwok argued that the rumored $20 billion price tag is highly implausible.

He explained that the $5 billion valuation is a fair estimate based on Circle’s expected IPO and that Ripple’s original offer was in line with this valuation.

More importantly, he highlighted how mergers and acquisitions typically work in financial markets. According to Kwok, acquisition offers usually come with a premium to entice the target company.

These premiums typically range from 20% to 30% above the baseline valuation. Applying this standard range, he calculated that a reasonable final offer from Ripple would likely fall between $6 billion and $6.5 billion. This range would reflect a 20% to 30% premium on Circle’s estimated $5 billion IPO valuation.

Kwok also addressed a misconception surrounding Circle’s financials. While the company holds $60 billion in collateral to back its issued stablecoins, he clarified that Circle does not own this collateral.

Instead, the firm earns revenue from the interest generated on those funds. This revenue stream, rather than the raw collateral value, is the basis for the company’s valuation.

Despite the solid reasoning provided by experts like Kwok, investors and industry observers need to stay open-minded. Though the $20 billion valuation appears unsubstantiated, neither Ripple nor Circle has publicly confirmed or denied the figure.

Until either company releases an official statement, the true nature of the negotiations remains unclear. As such, market participants should not be quick to accept or deny the rumored figure.

Over $3B in Bitcoin Shorts Set for Liquidation at $100K: Details

With bullish momentum now dominating the Bitcoin market, those betting against the uptrend are at risk of a historic liquidation.

At press time, Bitcoin has returned to the $97K level after briefly dipping to $96K earlier today. Meanwhile, the rally to $97,500 is setting the stage for a potential liquidation cascade. Over $3 billion in short positions are vulnerable above the key $100,000 mark, according to data from Coinglass.

$3B Short Squeeze at $100K

The liquidation heatmap reveals a significant cluster of short positions across major exchanges, including Bybit, OKX, and Binance, concentrated between $97K and $100K. As the price climbs, cumulative short liquidation leverage is now trending toward $4 billion. This indicates that leveraged bears are increasingly exposed.

At the $100K breakout level, bears on these exchanges would face losses of around $3.04 billion. As the price continues upward, those losses become even more pronounced. Specifically, a Bitcoin move to $105K would trigger around $3.73 billion in liquidations, and at its all-time high near $109K, the total could approach $4 billion.

Bitcoin shorts at liquidation risk
Bitcoin shorts are at liquidation risk

Meanwhile, long positions have largely been cleared out during the recent correction. The cumulative long liquidation leverage (red curve) has sharply declined, suggesting the market has reset. This leaves room for a potential upside breakout with minimal resistance from overleveraged bulls.

Notably, crypto analyst Carl Moon highlighted the setup on X, stating, “Let’s send it.” His remark highlights the growing sentiment that a short squeeze could propel BTC well beyond six figures.

Bitcoin at a Critical Resistance Point

Currently, Bitcoin is trading within one of its biggest resistance zones. Data from IntoTheBlock shows that between the $96K and $98K range, around 1.06 million addresses acquired approximately 750,800 BTC, worth about $73 billion.

This makes it Bitcoin’s largest supply zone. Once this barrier is overcome, a thinning wall of resistance will follow, particularly around the $100K level.

However, should bears overcome bulls at this juncture, Bitcoin risks dipping to the $93K and $82K regions. In these areas, strong buying pressure could reemerge.

With Bitcoin flirting with new all-time highs, traders are eyeing the long-awaited $100K psychological barrier and beyond.

Prominent market watcher Peter Brandt has even floated the possibility of Bitcoin rallying to the $120,000–$150,000 range within the next four months. He believes that would be the point where a new bear market cycle could begin.
